Okay so the first Night Warrior was male, and apparently gay. Neat. Now tell me more about the ritual, the characters themselves give me some personality and traits other than just gay. That is the biggest problem I have with a lot of LGBT representation, their sexuality or whatever is their personality. They are nothing else but that, and some people will get pissed at you for it. I like Commander Holt from Brooklyn 99, he has a lot of personality and emotional range. He isn't just gay, so for this I'm Night Warrior stuff I'm interested I'm invested I want to know more. Just so long as it has some depth.
This is so gay, and that's just fine by me.
"They are no longer the warriors we knew in WC1-3"... Good luck finding a night elf in either Wc1 or Wc2.

oh boy i cant wait for the EPIC finale of "the night warriors all must die but tywanda is special and therefore she wont die!"boring. exhausting. bad story telling, as usual. oh and we get some shoehorned characters that are gay too, awesome. hope these aren't the only ones in the game, otherwise it's going to be extremely #$%^ing boring and just feels like a massive shoehorn for some nonsense.
For people who talk about 'we need more gay couples in WoW", I always get confused by that. From what I recall, there's been a grand total of two notable romantic couples that haven't ended in one or both dying horribly. All the others are pretty much entirely in the background and the vast majority of couples you come across while questing amount to "My wife/husband/mate is missing, can you find them" which inevitably results in "Yeah, they're dead"
Because of two gay night elves? If so, homophobic much?
People do know that Maiev was speaking about the phase of Elune, right? The Night Warrior was explicitly never one person, as stated also by Maiev. There have been many Night Warriors as the night elves were carving out their empire, it wasn't just one woman, and in that same speech, she explicitly set up this lore that the elves who do the ritual do not survive long. However, are people completely ignoring the last lines of this?
i don't care if its a gay couple or not, i just wish they wouldn't retcon that only women could be priestesses and a night warrior. they could've made a gay women couple instead to fit both agendas.
Y'all can stay mad. Nowhere has it been suggested only females can embody Elune's wrath, only that the modern night elf interpretation is matriarchal. Also, people in the Warcraft universe form relationships. Everyone is making a mountain out of a molehill here considering it was a throwaway line.
