Nathanos Blightcaller Shadowlands Dialogue (Story Spoilers)

We're taking a look at Nathanos Blightcaller's datamined dialogue in Shadowlands, which drops some clues as to the role he could play in the future.
WARNING: STORY SPOILERS AHEAD
Edit: Nathanos Blightcaller has been been found on the Shadowlands Alpha with some of the voice lines in this post.
Well, well, well. If it isn't Azeroth's mightiest champions.
Congratulations! You managed to track me to the most unlikely places. My very own home.
Seeking retribution for all the bad, bad things I've done I suppose. How frightfully predictable.
I have been waiting a long time for this. Let's get on with it, shall we!
So disappointing! I expected more from you heroes.
Alliance. Horde. Pathetic, the lot of you.
Ha ha ha! Yes! Such delicious hatred.
You call this fighting? Trained by amateurs I see.
Refreshing, isn't it? Facing one another at long last.
Even that decrepit Saurfang put up a better fight than this.
You honestly believe you have a chance against me? How rich!
My hounds will make a meal of your pitiful flesh.
I've never been much for sentiment, but this takes me back to the old days.
All this grows tiresome! Give me a real challenge.
Of course, my queen, we will not disappoint you.
It appears that after chasing Nathanos across Azeroth during the expansion prequel novel
Shadows Rising
, we finally corner him at his old home--Marris Stead in Eastern Plaguelands. We're drawn into an encounter with him and his trusty hounds--a throwback to the vanilla quest

Edit: Nathanos has been confirmed to spawn on the Shadowlands Alpha in Eastern Plaguelands. He has a lot of health and you can currently fight him. He seems to despawn at 10-20%, and could still be a world boss.
Previous datamining suggests that
Nathanos will be a boss
, although details have been kept purposely vague. We know he has an Encounter ID (2416) and the Shadowlands NPC
纳萨诺斯·凋零者
is marked as an Elite. That same build also added the hounds
荒芜之牙
and
凋零之嚎
, which are referenced in his dialogue.
Based on recent Shadowlands datamining, we may be posing as Nathanos (
正在扮演纳萨诺斯
) as part of the plan to find his whereabouts. The spell
纳萨诺斯的终局
also implies we'll be getting some sort of cinematic conclusion for the encounter:

Effect #2 Apply Aura: Screen Effect (922)
Blizzard has been extremely quiet about
Shadowlands
pre-patch plans, but it's likely that Nathanos' story and encounter will be part of this event. Even if we defeat Nathanos during the pre-patch, it doesn't necessarily spell the end for his story as his soul would then travel to the Shadowlands where he could likely meet up with Sylvanas.
We last saw Nathanos in-game at Sylvanas' side, following the events of the Fourth War in the Loyalist Campaign cinematic where he pledged his love for her. We've also learned he will play a major role in the
Shadows Rising
expansion prequel
, tasked by Sylvanas to find and kill Bwonsamdi. Learn more about him in the
