I need to pair him with someone to compliment his abilities.

Just defeated this with PWS (?/2/2), Chrominius (1/1/1), and Emerald Proto-Whelp (EPW) (P/S breed) (2/2/2). Open with PWS, Geyser, Whirlpool. Swap to Chrominius. Howl, Bite and it ought to be dead. Mechanical, so it will rez, but it will still be stunned from Geyser - bite again, it dies. Next pet was a poor quality waterfly - it opened with Lift-Off. Doesn't matter what you do here- let Chrominius die. When he dies, swap to EPW. Cast Presence, then Dream. Recast Presence, then bite until the fly dies. Final pet was a rare quality Fen Crab - which I captured. Yes you CAN CAPTURE the secondary pets! I still got credit and a bag.

Just did this battle for the first time and found a strat that works for me.
Pet's I used:
Dark Phoenix Hatchling H/S - Burn, Immolate and Dark Rebirth
Sandy Petrel B/B - Slicing Winds, Cyclone and Hawk Eye
Tiny Sporebat H/H - Slicing Winds, Leech Seed and Confusing Sting.
This was with 2 poor quality supporting pets, one was a maggot and the other was an aquatic pet. I'd write up what I did, but apparently the supporting pets change each day, so there is no point :(

With patch 7.0.3 Howl Bomb strats don't work anymore.
A good alternative here is using a Fel Flame, Lava Crab and an Emerald Proto-Whelp
Details are outlined here:
http://www.wow-petguide.com/index.php?m=Tanaan&s=56
On a side note, all strategies on Xu-Fu's guides are updated to work with 7.0.3. Enjoy :-)
As Nanlaria mentioned, Howl Bomb is the way to go with these. Very reliable strategy independent from Dreadwalkers backline pets:
1. Pandaren Water Spirit - 1 2 2
2. Chrominius - 1 1 2
3. Anubisath Idol - 1 1 1

Defeated this with Chrominius (1,1,2), Soul of the Aspects(2,1,2), Anubisath Idol (1,1,1).
Start with Chrominius, use Howl, switch to Soul of Aspects and cast Solar Beam.
Here Dreadwalker should get 1 shot and have is mechanical res.
Back to chrominius, 2xbite should finish Dreadwalker off. Against waterfly just cast howl + Surge of Power and Waterfly is dead. Keep using whatever you have on Chrominius until it dies, then on anubisath just cast Deflection vs Burrow, keep Sandstorm up on cooldown and spam Crush until Maggot dies.

I didn't have any of the pets suggested really, so this is what worked for me.
I had a level 23 Rare quality Fel Flame (1/1/1) that was tamed in Tanaan Jungle, (25)Shadow Sporebat (1/2/1) and (25)Emerald Proto-Whelp (2/2/2).
Even at 23 the Fel Flame almost soloed this guy, mine was accompanied by two flying pets, which the proto-whelp took out.
Dreadwalker will obviously be first. Open with Fel Flame, and select "Immolate", then "Conflagrate" and then I just used "Burn" until my pet died. Could possibly use burn until Immolate" and "Conflagrate" comes off C/D, not sure if it'd be better, my guy just didn't live much longer. Once the Fel Flame died, I swapped to Shadow Sporebat and instantly casted "Leech Seed", this should keep you from dying, then cast "Spore Shrooms" and then filled with "Slicing Wind" - from here on out, use "Leech Seed" and "Spore Shrooms" on C/D, and fill with "Slicing Winds". I can't remember if the Dreadwalker Died at the same time or before The Sporebat died, but from here on it's cake. Swap to your Proto Whelp and if your health is seriously low start with "Emerald Dream", if not do "Emerald Presence" first, then "Emerald Dream", then recast "Emerald Presence" and just "Emerald Bite" until they die, your health shouldn't get too low, if it starts to, just do Emerald Dream again.
Hopefully this helps :)

If you're like me and dislike using Howlbomb, or simply don't have the Water Spirit to do it with, here's what worked for me:
Hatespark the Tiny
with Deep Burn, Conflagrate & Flamethrower
Minfernal
with Immolate, Extra Plating & Meteor Strike
Teroclaw Hatchling
with Alpha Strike, Dodge & Nature's Ward
A fairly straightforward fight, albeit reliant on RNG. You might win, you might lose. If Dreadwalker gets a nasty crit in there, you're dead. But that's part of the fun.
Open with
Hatespark the Tiny
; Flamethrower, Conflagrate, Deep Burn and keep hitting him until your Hatespark dies, Dreadwalker should have extremely low HP at this point.
Swap in
Minfernal
, toss in an Immolate and use your Plating, depending on your luck with Hatespark's DPS earlier, Dreadwalker is likely dead at this point, if not, hit another Immolate and seal the deal.
Once Dreadwalker is dead, use Minfernal's Meteor Strike, Immolate and Shields up when you can. If you can, you'll die eventually.
As for the rest, always keep Nature's Ward up on
Teroclaw Hatchling
, Dodge when you can and keep hitting 'til you win. Or die. As I said, RNG might screw you over.

Used Flamethrower,Conflagrate,Sulfuras Smash until i was killed.

Superbark provides for safe captures without accidental kills of the desired capture, while Inferno Herding allows swapping to the lowest health opposing pet which can then be either captured or eliminated (Chrominius with Howl and then, Bite or Surge of Power) as desired.

Just defeated him with Fel Flame (1/1/1) and 2 Anubisath Idols (1/1/1). Start with Immolate, then use Conflagrate and spam Burn until he is dead. Your Fel Flame might die before him, but just one Crush from the Anubisath Idol should do the trick (it did for me). After that just use you Anubisath Idol to tank the dmg and after their Buff wears off it's easy. I did not even have to use my second Anubisath Idol.

Killed him today with
Fel Flame
(Immolate, Conflag, Burn),
Grassland Hopper
(Inspiring Song, Cocoon Strike, Screech), and
Silkbead Snail
(Shell Shield, Headbutt, Absorb).
His two pals were a critter and a beast, but the healing and armor on the snail made the beast no problem at all. The critters took much less damage from Dreadwalker's whole-team attack, so they still had a decent amount of health when it was their turn-- enough to heal themselves a bit more and polish off the other two enemies.

This entire achievement is doable with only 5 pets:
Pandaren Water Elemental
,
Chrominius
,
Ikky
,
Emerald Proto-Whelp
(Mine is a P/P breed, I do not know if it matters), and a snail, I used the
Rusty Snail
with a H/B breed, you may have succes with other breeds or others snails.
I always include the
Emerald Proto-Whelp
(2,2,2) because it will consistently be able to deal with the backline, no matter if they have 10 or 6 rounds left on their
fel-steroids
. You need to utilize this in a smart way though. Keep up the
Presence
, and use
emerald dream
to keep alive, the magical
bite
will deal more damage to flying pets which are highly likely to join the fight.
If you play smartly you will be able to defeat any backline, regardless of what creatures they are, and their rarity. Meaning you have two slots to deal with the Tiny Terrors.
Nearly all of the tiny terrors will die to the howlbomb combo:
Pandaren Water Elemental
's
Geyser
+
Whirlpool
, swap to
Chrominius
,
Howl
then either
Bite
or
Surge of Power
, depending on the terror's remaining HP, and their pet traits.
However I've found that both the Dark Gazer and Mirecroak are able to disrupt this combo on a regular basis. Meaning that we will have to switch things up a bit.
Felsworn Sentry
and
Dreadwalker
are the only mechanical pets, and they will take extra damage from the
geyser
part of the howlbomb, so more often than not they will activate their
Failsafe
when the bomb hits. You should be able to finish with a
bite
, but if they somehow have more than 400hp, its better to use the
surge
. Deal as much damage to the backline as you can with Chrominius, then swap to Emerald and just play it straight up tank and spank till you're done.
Dark Gazer
is the most troublesome, as it has a consistent
CC
, the snail's
passive
will counter this. This fight can become slightly RNG dependant but the snail tends to do the job on its own. Keep up
Acidic Goo
as a prio,
Headbutt
on CD and fill in with
Ooze Touch
.
Vile Blood of Draenor
Will be resistant to the howlbomb due to its
passive
, however you get to bite it twice with 100% more damage taken, making it an easy and consistent kill as well. Chrom and Emerald will take care of the backline.
Corrupted Thundertail
,
Chaos Pup
,
Defiled Earth
,
Felfly
,
Tainted Maulclaw
,
Direflame
and
Bleakclaw
all die to the howlbomb, some pets have more HP than others so sometimes a simple bite will do the trick, but as a rule of thumb, use surge if its a
flying
type, or has more than 400-450 after the bomb has hit.
Cursed Spirit
is an
undead
, meaning it will get roughly 2 turns more than other pets. 1 of which it will be stunned. However it will most likely get off a last minute
Fel corruption
, giving the backline 10 turns. However if you play the proto-whelp defensively this will never become an issue.
Netherfist
and
Skrillix
both use
humanoid
type abilities. Which will pack a punch on your
Chrominius
, but even then, outside of extreme RNG cases they will not kill it in time before the bomb wrecks them.
Mirecroak
, is likely killable with the howlbomb but I tend to use
Ikky
instead, due to my lucky rng the frog tends to get a CC nearly 80% of the time before I get the bomb off. Ikky's
Black Claw
+
Flock
, will have done its job in 3 turns. And in the case that you get CC'D before the 3rd, You can finish mirecroak off with a single
Savage Talon
.
I've consistently cleared all Terrors several days in a row using these five pets, sometimes RNG can get in your way but your chance of winning should be heavily in your own favour.
I hope this will be helpful to those that wish to defeat them all, and happy hunting!

Did this with PWS, Chrom and Nether Faerie, however you can substitute Chrom for any pet with howl. Geyser, Whirlpool, Howl start, finish off Dread. Just make sure your 3rd is capable of handling the last two.

I just beat this with the Pandaren Water Spirit (PWS), Chrominius, and Molten Corgi.
Open with PWS. Use Geyser then Whirlpool (order is important). Switch to Chrominius, use Howl and then Ravage.
The secondary pets were a green rat and white bloodbeak. Ravage continues into the rat. Depending on your luck, you *may* manage to get another hit in. If you do, don't use Howl, you won't get a chance to benefit from it.
When Chrominius dies, switch back to PWS. Use Geyser, then Whirlpool. Use your chosen first attack (water jet or tidal wave) until it dies.
When PWS dies, out comes the corgi.
If the rat is still alive, use your first attack (Bark or Flamethrower).
If you're on the Bloodbeak and it has low health, use your first attack.
If you're on the Bloodbeak and it has high health, use Puppies of the Flame, then your first attack.
It took me several tries to figure out this combination, but it worked on my first try once I did.

Bring in fel flame, scorched earth conflagrate, burn until the cows come home.
When fel dies, bring unborn back. Pop a doom if you got one, otherwise spam shadow shock.
When unborn dies, again again, bring in emerald proto-whelp. Emerald dream, emerald presence, emerald bite. Repeat as needed and should get you there.

I managed to get him with my Core Hound Pup and a Shale Hatchling. Didn't need my third pet. The two random battlers were both rats.
Howl + Burrow nearly finished Dreadwalker, with a couple Thrashes to finish him plus his mechanical respawn. With the rats, and my shale spider, just used stone skin+poison spit+leech life and was able to finish them both off. Yay!

With the two adds he had today, a snake and a moth, I don't see how beating him is even possible with that line up. I must've tried fifty times. Using strategies listed here, and my own. Fel Flame was best against Dreadwalker, but he does so much damage to the backline that it's over before it really starts. Want to use Clockwork Gnome? Nope. He'll be almost dead when the snake comes out, and will be one or two shot by the snake, so you can't use repair. That leaves you with one pet that's half to two thirds dead to deal with the snake at full health and the moth at full health.
Good luck, you'll need it.
评论来自
Shiney79
If, like me, you got stuck on this guy with his snake and moth backline, and tried dozens upon dozens of times, and strategies, I finally found one that worked. The key is to use a pet with a force swap ability that's faster than the boss so you can act first, to get that boss into the backline before he casts that ridiculous AoE buff thing. From there, it should be fairly trivial.
I used Molten Corgi 222, Fel Flame 121, and Phoenix Hatchling 112. Open with Corgi, and swap out the boss. Use Corgi to kill first pet, save the swap ability because the AI will swap the boss back in when first opponent dies, you want that off cooldown so you can send him back and swap in the boss' other buddy. Heal with Cauterize as needed and you should be in good shape.
Save Fel Flame for Dreadwalker. Scorched Earth, Conflag and then Burn. You should be able to kill him but iff you take a crit or get bad RNG then your third pet should still have a sliver of life left to finish him off.
This is the only strategy that worked for me when Dreadwalker had a snake and a moth as backups. The only thing that can cause problems here is if the snake draws Hiss. If it does, just forfeit and start again, it's imperative that you are able to act first.

Now that the 7.0 Legion pre patch is here and Howlbomb has been nerfed, as is only right, people are no doubt looking for the next big thing.
Although I've already posted one strategy here in the comments, I figured it might be too RNG heavy for most people to use, so here's the generic Doombomb strategy that generally works on anything the old Howlbomb worked.
Doombomb 101: (works against most Tanaan Legendaries with a bit of variation)
Grab an
Unborn Val'kyr
, something with a
Howl
,
Stampede
-- or really anything that increases the damage taken by your enemy, to make that big Curse of Doom hit -- and an
Emeral Whelpling
/
Emerald Proto-Whelp
as your last pet.
Having just said that, I varied from the usual Doombomb combo on this boss because I found that the elemental pet
Hatespark the Tiny
worked even better than a Howl/Stampede/whatever here. I had the Emerald Whelpling as a third pet.
Start with Val'kyr, cast
Curse of Doom
first and
Unholy Ascension
second, as is the norm.
Swap to Hatespark and cast
Cauterize
, followed by
Flamethrower
and
Deep Burn
.
Depending on your crits, you might beat Dreadwalker now or you might not. It won't take more than two turns at any rate. Once Dreadwalker is dead, Cauterize up on your Hatespark and deal damage until you die.
The rest is easy with an Emerald Whepling. Shields up, heals on, and don't die.

followed by
焚烧
and
萨弗拉斯重击
. When Ragnar die switch to Sporebat, cast
汲血之种
and
孢子菇
filled with
切削之风
. Finally, after Sporebat death, bring in our well known and beloved dragon and put
翡翠灵气
on followed by
翡翠之咬
. Fill with
翡翠梦境
if needed, me I didn't need it at all and finished fight with roughly 70% HP on my dragon ;)).

This was so frustrating for me who had nothing with flame skills and no Molten Corgi.
Eventually flew to fel forge nearby and caught a lvl 23 Fel Flame just for this...not sure if it was just luck, yet here is what I did in the hopes it helps someone else...
Ikky * 1 1
Fel Flame 1 * 1
Emerald Proto Whelp 2 2 2
Started with Ikky Black Claw + Flock
...brought in Fel Flame Conflagrate + Burn until dead
...brought in Emerald Proto-Whelp if memory serves I had to go straight into Emerald Dream to heal the damage done to him as a backline pet, then Emerald Presence + bite before settling into the usual Emerald Presence + Emerald Dream + Bite until cooldown scenario which comes with owning an EPW.
Good Luck x

Seems some mechanics have changed in BFA. The pet battle video guides show some differences, such as Pandaren Water Spirit has Geyser and Whirlpool on the same selector...you can't have both.

I used Lil' Ragnaros, Fel Flame, and Emerald Proto-Whelp.
1. Lil' Ragnaros - Sufluras Smash, Conflagrate, Flamethrower
Flamethrower
Conflagrate
Sulfuras Smash
Flamethrower
Sulfuras Smash
Conflagrate
Cast Flamethrower whenever not on cooldown. Same with Conflagrate as long as Dreadwalker is burning. Lil' Ragnaros will kill Dreadwalker once, but of course, being mechanical, he comes back to life and kills Lil' Ragnaros.
2. Fel Flame - Flame Breath, Immolate, Conflagrate
Immolate
Conflagrate - should kill Dreadwalker
Flame Breath until Dreadwalker dies if he's not already dead.
Rinse and repeat on the regular mobs until Fel Flame dies.
3. Emerald Proto-Whelp - Emerald Bite, Ancient Blessing(I prefer this over Emerald Presence which I didn't try), Emerald Dream
Ancient Blessing
Emerald Dream
Ancient Blessing if necessary
Emerald bite.
Stay alive! I tend to err on the side of healing instead of dps.
Hope this helps!

Chitterspine Skitterling with 335 speed
Black Claw + Swarm
Any pet faster then 319 speed to finish Dreadwalker before casting Fel Corruption second time.
And the usual any pet with survival skills, Emerald Whelpling etc.

Coastal Scuttler: 2,2,2-Call of Winter, Frost Shock, Frost Spit, use frost spit often.
Fel Flame: 1,1,1-Conflagrate, Burn, Immolate you should be able to kill the first one with these 2
Emerald Proto Whelp: 2,1,2-Ancient Blessing, Emerald Dream, Emerald Bite, use Ancient Blessing as soon as you get on, because of the snakes big hits, then Emerald Dream, then Emerald Bite, do this as you need. Good luck :)

On October 30, 2021, I used:
- Ikky
- Anubisath Idol
- Emerald Proto-Whelp
I had a Tree Python and Maggot on the back line
The Tree Python was wrecking me, so I brought in Anubisath Idol to tank damage until the buff was gone.
Start with Ikky:
- Black Claw
- Flock
- Ikky will die
- Bring in Anubisath Idol and finish off Dreadwalker
- Depending on cooldowns, you can use Deflection here to block the big AOE, and still use it again for when the Sticky Grenade drops on you
- If timing is off and your Idol gets killed by the Sticky Grenade, restart and modify your strategy
Once Dreadwalker is dead, do all you can to tank the first backline pet until the buff is gone.
Once Anubisath Idol dies, bring in the Emerald Proto-Whelp and immediately use Emerald Dream
Then use Emerald Presence and Emerald Bite, using Emerald Dream/Presence as needed.

With the
Shadowlands pet battle changes
, a lot of old strategies here and on
Xu-Fu
no longer work, but jtatum1313's comment on the Tiny Terrors of Tanaan page was extremely helpful!
With some minor changes, I was able to create a total of 3 different scripts that cover all 15 fel-corrupted pets.
Please visit
my original comment
for the scripts! This is in order to prevent having to update each of my comments on 16 different pages.

A lot of the strategies here are outdated and will not work well any longer with updates/changes applied to pets attacks. I followed an alternate strategy from
https://www.wow-petguide.com/Strategy/10819/Dreadwalker
Enchanted Broom S/S
Batter, Sweep, Clean-Up
Dream Welpling P/B
Emerald Bite, Emerald Presence, Emerald Dream
Fel Flame H/S
Burn, Immolate, Conflagrate
I ended up with a Horny Toad and Tree Python for backline pets
Enchanted Broom
Sweep
Switch to Dream Welpling
Dream Welpling
Emerald Presence - Reapply Emerald Presence at 1 round left if slower then enemy pets or when it drops if faster. Keeping up Emerald Presence is vital to keeping the dragon alive.
Emerald Bite until enemy is less than 410 HP or Dream Whelpling drops below 910 HP. If under 910 HP use Emerald Dream, then spam Emerald Bite until enemy is below 410 HP
Switch to Broom
Enchanted Broom
Batter to finish off enemy pet
When Dreadwalker comes in use Sweep to kick him to the backline again. Swap back to Dream Welpling
Swap to Fel Flame
Fel Flame
Burn to finish second enemy pet
When Dreadwalker comes in use Immolate

I tried the top rated strategies above and they didn't work at all.
I encountered the following backline pets: Fen crab and Bloodbeak.
Fen crab is aquatic and thus good versus your elemental pets that are useful versus Dreadwalker.
I downed his team with:
1. Fiendish imp (S/S) 1;1;3
2. Singing sunflower (H/B) 2;1;2
3. Ikky (P/S) 1;1;1
It is critical to have Fiendish imp in S/S version with 333 in speed as this is faster than Dreadwalker.
Open with nether gate to send Dreadwalker to the backline (as this version of Fiendish imp is faster - he won't get to use his strong first attack)
His secondary pet (Fen Crab) then switched to the front.
Next I cast immolation and moved the imp to my backline. It will then burn the frontline enemy pet every round for 9 rounds while healing.
There are multiple strategies from here - but I decided to go with Ikky to quickly destroy the aquatic Fen Crab (Black claw and flock until dead)
When Ikky died I used Fiendish imp once more with nether gate to put Dreadwalker to the backline and switched to Singing Sunflower.
Using photosynthesis and sunlight.
Then I switched Sunflower to the back to heal up.
Don't be too quick to kill his remaining secondary pet (in my case the blood beak) as you can hit his backline pet (now Dreadwalker) with sunlight that are strong vs mechanical pets.
You could probably also win this fight with the Fiendish Imp and 2 singing sunflowers ;-)

This fight seems to be heavily dependent on what you get for the backline pets. I've generally had success getting Dreadwalker down, but depending on what the second pet is, I've had to change up my strategy. I've come to really despise this fight so hopefully one of these strategies can help.
The first team that worked for me was Zandalari Anklerender, Mechanical Pandaren Dragonling, and Anubisath Idol. The backline pets that appeared for me were
Cerulean Moth
and
Tree Python
.
I started with Primal Cry, Black Claw, and then Hunting Party before my anklerender pet died. I then switched to Mechanical Pandaren Dragonling and immediately put up Decoy. Then I used Thunderbolt and Breath until Dreadwalker was dead. I continued using Breath on the Cerulean Moth until the dragonling died. Finally, I brought in Anubisath Idol and first used Deflection to counter the Moth Dust ability, followed by Sandstorm. This did a significant amount of damage but here is where some more rng comes into play because it reduces your hit chance. I was able to successfully use Crush and Deflection though on the Cerulean Moth until it was dead and then I believe it was one Crush and then Sandstorm on the Tree Python to kill it.
I've only tried this strategy once so it may not be a perfect setup but it's the first team I've been successful with on this particular fight.
Update: I tried this again on an alt and got
Fen Crab
and
Tree Python
as the backline pets. I was not able to get past Fen Crab though with this strategy so I changed tactics. Following another user's suggestion, I started with Chitterspine Skitterling with 335 speed and used Black Claw and Swarm. At this point, Dreadwalker should have died and come back and be on the brink of death again. I brought out Northern Hawk Owl and one Savage Talon should finish off Dreadwalker. Then for Fen Crab, cast Call Darkness, Nocturnal Strike, and then Savage Talon until it is dead. Depending on rng, you may be able to get a hit in on the Tree Python before the owl dies. My last pet was a second Chitterspine Skitterling, which I just used Swarm until the Tree Python was dead.
Second Update: This time the backline pets were
Bloodbeak
and
Tree Python
. For this, I used two Chitterspine Skitterlings and the Bronze Whelpling. Chitterspine #1 should make quick work of Dreadwalker with Bronze Whelpling having a high enough speed to come in and finish him off before his second cast of Fel Corruption. When Bloodbeak came out, I immediately used Crystal Prison followed by Arcane Storm and then Arcane Slash until it was dead. Finally, Bronze Whelpling should have enough health to get at least 1 hit in on Tree Python before dying. Then Chitterspine #2 can come in and two rounds of Swarm should be enough to finish it off.
Last update I swear: I just wanted to add after doing this fight regularly over a couple of weeks now, the best team I've found is the one with two Chitterspine Skitterlings and a Bronze Whelpling. It's not 100% depending on the backline pets that you get, but it's been the most effective one for me by far.
