Can't they come up with a name NOT containing name of previous-tiers clothes? Now simple search will suffer from the very same nuisance as Silk cloth. If you just simply type SILK cloth - it dumps you crapload of results (and takes long time to search if u use auction addons) because EMBERsilk pops up too. Now it's the same thing - just with WOOL and WINDwool :D
Also bandage recipe learnable at skillcap? I know it's super early but there's got to be way to lvl first aid with this cloth too.

You can get some extra
风绒布
per day without grinding. There are some special type of seeds which provide crafting materials by planting and harvesting them at Sunsong Ranch (next to Tillers hub) in Valley of the Four Winds.
On harvest
欢歌铃种子
provides
祥和微粒
.
风剪仙人掌种子
provides
风绒布
.
谜之种
provides random MoP herb. Could be any herb, even
黄金莲

魔法鳞茎种子
provides random MoP enchant materials (mostly
灵魂尘

毒蛇茎种子
provides random MoP minerals (mostly
幽冥铁矿石

食肉草

These seeds can be bought from
商人绿野
at Halfhill Market for a cost of 90 silver each. Note, you need to be Revered with

For the Alliance, during the quest
烧死他们
, is a great opportunity to farm
风绒布
. The little section, "Slingtail Pits" is just west of Pearlfin Village. The mobs respawn almost instantly, in groups of 3 in some cases, and your Jinyu buddies do a decent job of tanking and DPS. If it's not too crowded you can get a pretty awesome haul, as well as leveling a bit while you're at it. I got a bunch of greens and a few BoE blues while I was there.
They still appear to be there after you turn in the quest, so it's possible this is just a great spot in general.
EDIT 2: They do eventually phase out. I'm not sure after what point this occurs, though.
Happy farming!
EDIT:
In a little under an hour (probably about 45 minutes) I gained:
16 stacks of
风绒布
3
祥和微粒
11 greens
1 BoE blue
~150g from corpses
3 grey items ~2g each

Another great way to farm this cloth is to have a group of atleast 2-3 people, and go to the Mantid invasion at Niuzao Temple. In 30 minutes we've got 25 stacks of Windwool cloth, and 4 Spirit of Harmony. Try it out!

A nice area where I farm is at 81.1 90.1 in Townlong Steeps (the area is called Shallowstep Pass). Go for the
科里克提克追迹者
. These guys are easy to dps, they drop cloth at a reasonable rate and the best part is that you won't aggro them unless you hit them first, which means you can take on as many (or as few) as you want, and not worry about their friends joining in.
You just have to be careful to not accidentally attack the
科里克提克护巢兵
just down the hill (and within attack range). They will swarm you with about 15 of their friends. Also, unlike most mobs in WoW, if you outrun these mobs, they won't run all the way back to their original place before they can be aggroed again. If you get in range while they are running back, you will re-aggro them.
Edit: the
祥和微粒
drop rate isn't that bad either.

I have found that the best place to farm
Windwool Cloth
is in the
Vale of Eternal Blossoms
from various
Shao-Tien
NPCs
that are located around the
Ruins of Guo-Lai
which is in the northwest corner of the map. It is a pretty easy going area enabling you to take on one mob at a time if you wish or gathering multiple mobs to mash on. The mobs spawn at a decent rate and I have been getting atleast one
Windwool Cloth
per kill with the occasional
Mote of Harmony
. I do have tailoring as a profession.

I found that killing Slateskin Troublemakers in large groups was the easiest method for farming Windwool Cloth.
The daily quest Sprite Plight in Mistfall Village sends you to kill 8, but I regularly pulled 20 or so as they are very weak enemies. This resulted in about 10-20 cloth per pull.
Easy enemies, fast respawn, lots of greens, cloth and motes. Give it a shot.

I'm confused, what do you mean that you can plant something and grow it? If so is there a quest or zone that I need to do or be in in order to be able to grow it. Forgive my noobness, my first toon in Pandora and yes I have Tailoring. Trying to farm it so that I can better that skill.

If you're only 86 and just trying to get enough cloth to get to 550 and the ability to make imperial silk, Stoneplow Fields in Valley of the Four WInds is a decent place to farm off of the insect-like npcs (Ik'thik Winglbade and Swiftclaws). You won't find mass quantities and it doesn't drop off of every npc but it does drop, you can do a few quests, get some experience and eventually you'll have enough cloth to level to 550.

can be farmed in large quantities quite easily off the Hozen located just south of the Nayeli Lagoon in the Krasarang Wilds. They are all very easy to kill, with just over 200k health, and are grouped up in large numbers. In just ten minutes, I was able to get four stacks of Windwool Cloth and a good number of green items to disenchant.
Edit: I have returned to this location to gather some average drop rate data, and out of farming for an hour, on three different occasions. I gathered an average of 16 stacks per hour; however, I would admit that a more time-conscious activity to obtain Windwool cloth is utilizing the Sunsong Ranch. Each day you can gather numerous stacks of cloth, including a few bolts, for a minimal amount of time (and the flight time to the ranch from the major cities in Pandaria is extremely short).

I think one of the best way to farm windwool cloth is probably those Stonebark tricksters, in Guo-lai Ruins, in Vale of Eternal Blossoms they have low hp and they just keep dropping a lot for me, try to kill them with your tailor toon, it really makes a difference. I find the best place to farm Windwool Cloth is along the Sha-scar line entering into Valley of Four winds on the Mantid side, you can slowly move along the scar killing the mobs as you go getting around 10-16 per group. from this method i have received around 200 Windwool, four blues, and eight greens, as well as 9 Motes of Harmony in one hour.

In the villages, there are groups of 3 - 10 mobs all bunched up. Each mob has a chance of dropping up to 4 windwool cloth, some good uncommon BoEs that sell on the AH, and many rare BoEs that consistently get me 1.2k - 1.7k.
If you're on a server that still has people buying uncommon BoEs, you could make around 6,000g (more with potions of luck) per hour not including what you get from the motes of harmony.

Then, i went into the villages and killed the villagers for 20 minutes. I left with 50 windwool, some greens, and gold of course. And im pretty slow at killing stuff. lvl 90 shadow priest.

As time goes on and folks get higher and higher in ilvl (i'm 525, for reference), a lot of the above mentioned spots don't seem as sweet - Unga Ingoo in particular. You kill the mobs too fast, leading to periods of downtime and the sneaking suspicion you could be doing better elsewhere.
I'm not a veteran farmer by any means, but I enjoyed farming the trolls in the southern section of the Isle of Thunder. There's a big group of about 8

, and just north of them a group of trolls channeling a giant bird. The channeling trolls respawn super-fast, since killing them is part of a daily quest, and sprinkled around these two groups are lots of individual mobs. All of these trolls drop cloth, motes and greens in fairly good quantities, plus Zandalari journals for

So, there's a lot of places where you can farm Windwool Cloth.
I'm a frost mage with 499 itemlvl, which mostly consist of LFR/HC Scenario/PvP gear. There are 2 places that I found was really good farming this stuff.
The first place is the Mischievous Snow Sprite in Kun-Lai Summit. They're in a cave at 59, 52. For those of you without Coords that is the 2nd cave on the left from Temple of the white tiger. They have about 160k health and inside there are in particular 4 places where there are a bunch of suspicious snow piles(or whatever they may be called) that spawn really close. Here you can just AoE them down easily, as well as pulling a few stragglers into the mix.
Unfortunately it seems as though they have a rather small aggro zone, so you just can't keep pulling them.
Anyway, I was here for 40 minutes where I used 2 Potions of Luck. Instead of listing what I received for the plundered treasures and the mobs, respectively, I'll just put it all together.
I received:
10 stacks of Windwool Cloth
19 Ghost Iron Ore
10 White Trillium Ore
8 Black Trillium Ore
4 Exotic Leather
43 Mote of Harmony
A number of greens that I simply vendored since enchanting mats aren't worth anything on ah.
From the greens, grays and gold drop I got about 600gold.
The second place I tried was Unga Ingoo, the southern island in Krasarang Wilds. It is filled with Unga Villagers, these are the one you want. There are several groups of mobs around the place and you can pull anything from 3 mobs to 10+ mobs, depending on what you're comfortable with. These mobs are harder than the Mischievous Snow Sprites though. They have about 210k health and hit for about 6-7k on cloth. The snow sprites only hit for 4-5k.
From these guys I received:
14 stacks of Windwool Cloth
23 Ghost Iron Ore
18 Black Trillium Ore
15 White Trillium Ore
34 Mote of Harmony
And from vendoring greys and greens I got about 900gold
to sum it all up:
Mischievous Snow Sprites are easier to kill, however there are fewer of them, so I had to wait for spawns occasionally.
Unga Villagers are a bit harder to kill, but there are a lot more of them so I didn't have to wait for respawns, since there were always a smaller pack to kill.
I suggest you try both places out, as it's relative how hard and how easy they are, considering your class and Itemlvl.
I've tried other places, but these 2 places are my favourite. Good luck to you all!

BEST PLACE TO FARM
Keep in mind that I am not 100% sure if this area phases out after turning in the quest. Grounded Welcome
The mobs are called Kor'thik Fleetwing, and many have low % on life (down to 10% to full life), Even if you kill one with 5-10% you still get to loot the mob.
I tried farming this spot after noticing a large amount of greens, and Windwool Cloth was dropping along with Motes!
I farmed for about 30 min and received about 4 stacks of Windwool Cloth, along with around 3-4 Greens, and 4-5 Motes of Harmony.
I am currently still farming it to fill my entire bags with the cloth and just disenchanting the greens for the dust. Please keep in mind that many of these mobs may have low life however some do have full life. I am an Arcane Mage, so I would go around pulling 10+ mobs at once and AOEing many down and then dealing with any mob that has more HP left. I did have to pop a few health potions a few times doing it this way. Over all this seems to be the BEST spot to farm, and can fill your bags in an hour or more of cloth.
Cords are around 51.10, 82.74
Would love others to try this spot for a good 10-20min and give feedback as this could change coming 5.4 patch.

Ditto on the observation that many of these locations are no longer viable post 5.4 patch. I'm a level 90 demon lock and have completed many of the quests referenced so that may relate to your ability to farm some of these locations.
1. Unga Ingoo was an almost bust for me this morning - entire island, twice, netted 1 stack +17 cloth (huge disappointment - this was my "go to" spot for cloth);
2. As for the Fleetwings on the border of Townlong and Dread Wastes - I found they were not there for me (and, yes, I have completed that quest);
3. I also found Stoneplow Fields (Mantids in the Sha scar zone of the Valley) no longer reasonable - very little cloth dropped after killing about 20 or so; and
4. I killed 50 at the Slingtail pits in Jade Forest and got ZERO cloth (of course, this is after completing the quest).
I'm testing them all out trying to find another sweet spot and so far the
Mischevious Sprites in Kun Lai
have offered my best hope. One entire pass (in and and out) of the cave netted 5 stacks, some greens, some junk and 5 motes. I will update this as I try the other locations suggested
Edit #1: I did find that the Shao Tien NPC's in the Vale were reliably dropping approx 1 wool per kill. Some more and occasionally less.
Edit #2: While grinding for rep on Timeless Isle I found that the Firewalker's Path is a good location. Ashleaf Sprites and the Ordon Candlekeepers in Firewalker Ruins are dropping the best.
This has been an all day task and I hope you found it helpful.
Edit #3: Definitely found that the npc's on the Firewalker's Path on Timeless Isle are the best for farming Windwool post 5.4 patch... averaging approx 1 stack every 15-20 min, but these are not easy kills - best to do it in a group. Good luck.
FINAL EDIT: Morkanum has since posted a zone and a route with strategies that work VERY WELL post 5.4. See post by Morkanum 10/17/13 - This is now my "go to" spot. See you in Dreadwastes!

Mischievous Snow Sprite had a pretty good drop of windwool cloth. In 1 hour farming, I got:
140 - windwool cloth
15 - mote of harmony
08 - green items
26 - dried peaches
10- roasted barley tea
04- grey items (junk)
02- witchberries
And I was lucky enough to find a treasure box in one of the corners, that gave me 190 gold.
So, after 5.4 I believe this is still a good place to farm windwool cloth.

5.4 Morks Guide to Windwool Cloth Farming: The Bugs Edition
Hello people of the internet. I'm Mork and I wish to share you my XP. I read how badly everyone is struggling to gather some Windwool cloth since the 5.4 nerf. Now, what I'm about to tell is my personal strategy I use since start of MoP and which has remained
unnerfed
ever since (and I hope Blizz won't in the future).
Results for 1 hour farming with Potion of Luck (and Tailoring):
- 634 gold (incl. sold vendor trash)
- 605
风绒布
(30 stacks)
- 56
祥和微粒
- 21 green items
- 3
幽冥铁宝箱
- 30
白色延极矿石
- 44
黑色延极矿石
- 36
幽冥铁矿石
- 23
雾触皮
- 24
恐惧琥珀碎片
- Lesser Charms of Good Fortune not recorded.
Location:
The Dread Wastes, from the flight path (Klaxxi'vess) move a tad south in the direction of the scar. Starting point 58,46.
What do you need
- AoE damage. I'm a Ilvl 521 Shadow Priest, so if I can do it, everyone can heheh...
- A bit of survability, good gear helps ofcourse. I've been doing this since start of MoP, gearing up just helps better.
- A brain (sorry)
- 1 ranged spell (wut? yes, 1 ranged spell, I'll explain later on)
-
Klaxxi Enhancement 1: Angel of Death
:
MANDATORY
. The Klaxxi will do about 70% of your work so again, MANDATORY. I'll be referring to him as
Bob
further. (Kil'ruk in Klaxxi'vess grants you his assistance with Angel of Death).
- Klaxxi Enhancement 2: random, whatever makes you comfortable. I use Painkiller, old habit.
-
Potion of Luck:
you really want it, don't go in without !
- Max lvl Tailoring is advised for increased drop rates.
Strategy, bring it on!
Pack 1:
coords 58.46 - 1 elite scorpion and 12 mobs.
Fly in straight in front of the scorpion, pull the elite, AoE the rest and gather up the entire pack asap (they will all fly to you, no need to move around). Bob will descend from the sky and AoE the pack doing massive damage and leave a cleave dot. Loot and heal up.
Filler 1:
okay, so
it takes 1 minute for Bob to be available again
. Move in the direction of the wall you will find 2 casters patrolling, kill these while you let the debuff expire.
Pack 2:
coords 61.46 - 1 elite scorpion and 14 mobs.
Fly in straight in front of the scorpion, pull the elite, AoE the rest and gather up the entire pack asap (they will all fly to you, no need to move around). Bob will descend from the sky and AoE the pack doing massive damage and leave a cleave dot. Loot and heal up. (There is 1 warrior here which is always stuck in evade, I named him Frank).
Filler 2:
move in the direction of the wall and pull and kill the elite Dread Fearbringer while you wait for Bob. Don't pull anything else yet.
Pack 3:
coords 65.49 - 2 times 7 mobs and 2 patrolling raiders.
Stand in the middle of the scar and pull both pack from the sides simultaneously letting them gather up. AoE and Bob will do the rest. Loot and heal up. Beware if you pull both patrolling raiders as well, they debuff for +20% dmg taken.
If you feel a tad unsure, leave the two packs split up and kill one pack at once.
Filler 3:
say something witty in Gchat while you wait for Bob.
Pack 4:
coords 66.49 - 9 mobs
Pull them, AoE and Bob will do the rest. Loot and heal up.
Filler 4:
now here is a very fun part. Fly up to the left side on top of the wall (next to the destroyed part), there is an npc there called Jonathan Jacobsen, stand next to him - coords Valley 6.53. Now, you will see waves and waves of Ik'thik Warrior flying over the bridge. This is where you need your ranged spell. Tag them out of the sky as they fly over. They will come down. Basically it goes tag, tag, tag, aoe filler, tag, tag, tag, aoe filler... The waves come and go, just shoot these ducks out of the sky as they come or tag. Some will be out of range, don't worry, more will come. NOTE: Bob takes a break here.
It takes about
6 minutes for the first scorpion pack to fully re spawn
. Use this remaining time on the wall.
Use your Potion of Luck as a timer. If timed well, you can go for
3 full clears within the 20 minutes
.
Doing the rotation takes a little to get used to, but once you do, you won't go anywhere else for cloth anymore.
I think this sums it up, or I'll edit when I've forgotten something.
Try it, have fun, and thank you for your rating or feedback.
Mork.
edit: grammar bah...

Not sure if anyone else has done this but I was actually grinding rep for the Black Prince by killing horde in Krasarang Wild on my tailor and seems to be a fantastic place for farming windwool cloth also. In about 30 minutes I ended up with about 125 cloth plus several greens, motes, and vendor trash not to mention some gold. Pretty easy spot to farm really. The npc's go down pretty quick and all you really have to do is tag them anyway. I did this w/o a potion of luck.
don't have the exact co-ords but it's just the beach next to the alliance base where they horde and alliance are constantly going at it. does seem to vary though based on the daily quests available for the faction operation: shieldwall.

Don't know if it is mentioned here, but I want to tell you where I farm my Windwool Cloth.
Where to farm?
You all know the mogu, don't you? In the northwest of the Vale of Eternal Blossoms -
Guo-Lai Halls & Ruins of Guo-Lai
.
Why do I farm there?
It's a great spot for a character with good gear (my warlock has got ~550), because there are big groups of mobs - if you have got range-spells you can easily pull 5-15 mobs together, nuke them & loot.
You can farm
天之裂片
while you're farming
风绒布
. Additionally you are able to loot some
远古郭莱储物箱钥匙
- in these chests randomly are
锦绣谷宝藏
, which contain nice loot (for example windwool cloth / bolts).
Why do you should kill strong lvl 90 mobs?
Additionally to the things mentioned above, at the Ruins of Guo-Lai you can get the stackable debuff
统御符文
- 5% crit and 10% critical damage, stacking up to 5 times; so you can have +25% critical strike chance and +50% critical damage the whole time!
Summary
no waiting time, there are nearly always mobs (depends on your server population, of course)
lots of
风绒布
bonus:
天之裂片
bonus:
锦绣谷宝藏
(sometimes with cloth / bolts) {and
帝王丝绸
} thanks to Guntak
bonus: helpfull debuff -
统御符文
for much more crit chance / damage
Do not forget to bring a few
幸运药水
for maximized efficiency.
PS: If there are any questions - let me know, I'll try to help you.
PPS: English isn't my native language, so try not to be too harsh on my grammar.

The best place I found to farm this in 6.0.3 is Sra'vess in western Townlong Steppes. There are massive packs of bugs and at level 100 it was quite easy to get between 10-30 of them per pull and one shot them. I was able to net 475 Windwool Cloth in just under 30 minutes even with some other people grabbing the mobs.

I did some testing of several areas on my tailor priest. Here are my findings.
Windward Isle - questing area for Order of the Cloud Serpent
I only lasted 8:30 minutes here. They are too spread out and without many people doing the dailies, not instant respawn. Might be good for a skinner though, since there are a lot of turtles as well.
78 cloth
2 greens
11 motes of harmony
Unga Ingoo
I lasted 20:30 minutes here. I don't like the slow effect, but if you are doing something else as well, there are 2 circles of mobs easily pulled without moving. Battle Horn works in the pit to pull them all down.
288 cloth
27 motes
7 greens
Ruins of Guo-Lai
Did a full 30 minutes here. I did have 2 competitors though and I'm not as familiar with the area, so probably not as efficient as others.
182 cloth
18 motes
6 greens
3 keys which I received 20 cloth, 20 ghost iron, 2 black trillium, 1 skyshard and a couple of cooking recipes I didn't have.
Clutches of Shek'zeer - giant scar in Dread Wastes
30 minutes here. Not a bad area to farm.
271 cloth
6 greens
52 motes
Sra'vess - Isle west of Niuzao Temple
This was my favorite spot. I did have 1 other person farming here, but they went further down the road and I stayed in the area with the logs to the first house. Battle Horn is very helpful. In 30 minutes, I looted.
485 cloth
17 greens
46 motes

Dread Wastes
, The Horrid March, hands down the best place to farm this cloth. Best if you're at max level because it's mostly elites in this area. Here is a list of TomTom coordinates for the mobs you'll want to farm. Use the addon Paste to add all the waypoints at once. Aggro the
Ik'thik Slayer
until all the nearby
Ik'thik Warriors
surround you, then hit them with an AoE attack. Easy peasy.

I guess I will contribute to this as well.
I'm a returning player that hasn't played in almost eight years and this is my first time playing a Fire Mage. I don't do dungeons for gear because I have a lousy computer
(the same computer from eight years ago in fact)
so I only wear loot drops and quest gear. I'm level 88 and iLvl 107 and now I am trying to farm Windwool Cloth to top off my tailoring.
I love my Fire Mage but we truly lack a good AOE in my opinion. I tried all those other places people mentioned for farming Windwool Cloth like in the Dread Wastes and whatnot but they were just too hard for me because there are a gazillion mobs everywhere and they bring adds/come in groups. That's too much for me. I needed something simpler and safer. For me I found the perfect spot to get Windwool Cloth and that's doing the Gormali mobs in Jade Forest at the Nectarbreeze Orchard. Since I kill them mostly one, two and sometimes three at a time
(because I accidentally backed into another)
- killing them at this rate I find they re-spawn fairly quick and I don't have to move around too far; I can pretty much stay in the general area and always have enough to pull. What I also find is better is that they often drop two cloth at a time compared to other places people have mentioned that are too hard for me. I managed to get some kills in at those other places but they either didn't drop every time or they only dropped one cloth at a time and I have to regen health and/or come close to dying after every pull. Those spots were just to risky and too much trouble for me to be worth it.
So if you are like me and you need something a bit more simple because either you're still not geared well or lack a good AOE then I suggest these Gormali mobs in Jade Forest.

I wanted to make some cloth gear for a friend today, but found I was very low on Windwool Cloth. I usually farm the Horrid March in Dread Wastes, as there are 5 groups of Ik'Thik Warriors with a 56% drop rate within easy running/flying distance of each other close to the Mantid Wall, mixed with a few Slayers and other Ik'Thik Mantid. However, today I decided to re-check WoWhead on the best place to find Windwool Cloth, and noted that at the top of the list was the Sra'thik Drone, with a 66% drop rate. Thinking this might provide a slightly better Farming experience, I decided to check the area out, realized I had no idea where it was, had never been there, so was definitely interested in how it would pan out. Several other posters had also I.D.'d this as a good place to go.
I flew over to Sra'Vess, west of Niuzao Temple in Townlong Steppes, did a quick fly-around, and noted multiple Mob-clusters scattered about. The thickest groups seemed to be at the South end of the island, gathered around several cut-down trees, so I decided to start there.
It took a bit to get the pattern/area down, but soon I was using Drain Life to quick-tap the mobs, pull in a bunch, then fired off an Incinerate burst, usually taking down 9-12 mobs at once. Groups were pretty close together, minimal running needed, and
insane
respawn rates. I wasn't running out of targets and the few times they thinned out I could easily run over to the road and pull some of the locals patrolling on it. I was bagging all kinds of goodies, cloth, food, Greens, lockboxes, motes. I started fine-tuning my run, trying to optimize as many pulls as fast as possible, wondering how I could speed up the cloth gathering even
more
-
Then I remembered the Yaungol Battle Horn.
Pulls and Drops went off the rails. I was able to nuke 20+ every use. The gloves came off, Greed grabbed the wheel, mashed the accelerator to the floor, and 2 hours after starting I was forced to leave the island when I couldn't stuff anything else into my bags, AFTER I had emptied out grey trash 2x.
So here's the summary:
1. Started off slow, being unfamiliar with the area/mobs. Roughly 2 hours, maybe a bit more, Familiarization Run so Experience will allow at least a 50% increase in Farming/Drops.
2. Using Lvl 110 Warlock/Tailor, no Minion, just running/(mob tap or Battle Horn)/repeat. Extra cloth drops, of course.
3, Lots of mobs, fairly close together,
fast
respawn! And NO competition! I saw no-one else there, unlike the Horrid March where many times when Farming I was competing with others for mobs.
4. Drops: 1223 Windwool cloth, 49 Greens, 119 MoH's, 137 Peanut Chicken, 83 Pearl Milk Tea, 6 Ghost Iron Lockboxes, piles of greys, some gold and Small charms of Fortune.
Things to watch for: All the mobs drop cloth. 2 have an AoE strike, 1 acts as an Assassination Rogue, several of their Effects stack. Best to do this as a high-level Tailor with some kind of Absorption Shield. Having a Mailbox item is recommended.
Edited
: Wowhead does not list the Cacophyte and Will-Breaker on this page as dropping Cloth for some reason, but they do.
Edited
: Tested a second run: In 1 hour picked up 1176 Cloth, 46 Greens, 1 Blue, 1 Lockbox, 97 MoH, some gold and charms as well as the usual greys. Much better due to knowing the area now and working out a good pattern.
I usually don't post Farming commentary because of the length, so as a TLDR;
Farming Windwool cloth? Go to Sra'vess w/Lvl110+ Tailor, bring Big, Empty bags, choose crowded spot, Spam Battle Horn/AoE, kill All, loot, repeat 2 hours/min, = Win.

The most ridiculously easy place to farm this is just outside Sentinel Basecamp in Krasarang Wilds (25,32). Korjan Reavers turn up at the rate of about one every 2 or 3 seconds, and tend to get distracted by Alliance NPCs. I'm level 50 now, so Pandaria is quite low-level, which means I can literally just stand there and kill dozens per minute, and they have a pretty good drop rate.

The best way to farm Windwool Cloth is to farm the yaungol mobs that give Shaohao rep on the timeless isle. If you have no competition from other players, you will get a lot of cloth very fast. The mobs also spawn very fast. Most elites drop about 6 pieces of cloth per kill.

For anyone searching for a quick place to farm these: just go to Mogu'Shan Palace, run around in the first area, The Gilded Foyer, kill all, loot, go out, reset and repeat. I got 15 in 30 seconds, including running outside. All the other options in this thread gave me 5 per entire run or nothing at all.
