I tried shielding the damage but it does not appear to work. Did "Assualt Fire Camp Gai-Cho" with the only damage taken being absorbed but it did not complete that quests criteria when I turned it in.

Your role on this hub of dailies is deal damage while Protector Yi takes the damage, thus the name.
突袭铠胄火营
is actually the hardest, try killing only Pitchthrower and Yaungol at either max range or melee range (so Yaungol can't charge you), avoid Earthtalker because of his instant Earthquake.
突袭死语者高地
is easier for ranged DPS, avoiding Shadow Crashes is the only challenge, also be careful to not aggro something else while dodging.
顺藤摸瓜
same as above.
灵魂尘
same as above.
我敌人的敌人……还是我的敌人!
try using CC to take the barrels and using them from a safe distance.
乌奴克!
interrupt his first shadow bolt and you should be fine.
成柏!
probably broken and I can't check it.
Using Protector Yi makes this WAY easier, bringing a friend also helps and remember that you can complete your quests on your companion.

For
Assault Fire Camp Gai-Cho
There is a hut at 63, 41. There's a Pitchthrower and a Yaungol at the door. Another Pitchthrower walks a pat to the hut and up the path to the west. No other mobs are anywhere close and no other mobs patrol near the area. The respawns are pretty long, but since you can't control Yi this is about the only place you can safely kill mobs and not aggro extras that charge you or earthquake you.
I did my pulls of them from 64,43 just up the path to the south of the hut. Do be careful that if you continue along that path, or just shift east too far Yi will disappear as you're out of the questing area. If you move back into the area he comes back.

A very important note is that this achievement is made up of individual parts. You do not have to complete all of the quests without taking damage from mobs, just one at a time. Be sure to hand in your quest to your companion as soon as you have completed it.
On that note, if you take damage from a mob, you can drop the quest, pick it up again and try again.
Hunters: At the time of this post, if your pet takes damage from a mob you still get credit for the achievement. It's the player, not the pet that must stay damage free. This makes pulls much more controlled if you don't have to take that idiot Protector along with you, since he likes to pull everything. Make sure you're at max range for every single mob, and it doesn't appear to matter what sort of yanguol you fight - none of their abilities hit me.

If you get
The Enemy of My Enemy
and
Assault Fire Camp Gai-Cho
on the same day, it's possible to gather barrels then use them to blow up the Fire Camp from the edge of the battlefield.
When you are doing
Spirit Dust
, it is also possible to go through and kill 32 of the spirits while on the quest without looting them, then quickly abandon and pick the quest back up. You then loot your kills and use the quest items that are still on the corpses. You have to have the quest both when you kill the spirits and when you loot the corpses, but abandoning it does not remove them from the corpses' loot.
ETA: It appears that the Spirit Dust component of the achievement is badly bugged - credit for that quest will toggle itself off very soon after it is received. What I mention above works perfectly well, but it should be done as the last component of the achievement, otherwise you're wasting your time.

Cautionary note for druids and anyone prone to falling damage - the note on the explosive oil says it is usable when mounted - which it is - however, it is NOT usable in the druid's bird form - you can pick it up but you cannot throw it. It will pop you right out of form and send you towards the ground at a very high rate of speed. Fortunately, I was close enough to the ground that I lived, and was far enough away from the monsters that I avoided aggro and was able to pull out a regular flying mount and bomb them all.
Unfortunately, it seems as if falling damage is enough to fail this achievement for that quest for the day (even though it says 'without taking any damage from
monsters
'). I did check my combat log before turning in so I know the only damage I took was from the fall.

The easiest way to finish the Assault Fire Camp Gai-Cho one is finding a friend to kill the mobs for you .
What you need to do is just staying on a fly mount and watching ,then the achievement will pop out.
The others can be done in the same ways.

There is an easier way to get Assault Fire Camp Gai-Cho done.
Pick up the quest The Enemy of my enemy is still my enemy, then go around the fire camp collecting the highly explosive yaungol oils
Once you have 10, go back to the camp and pick up the quest Assault Fire Camp Gai-Cho
On your flying mount, stay in the battlefield zone so you can use the explosives, but throw them into the camp. It insta-kills the mobs and you will take 0 damage.
Turn in the quest, then if you want to get The Enemy of my enemy is still my enemy out of the way on the same day, drop the quest and pick it up again

also killed him within HoJ .. and no one took dmg, with Protector Yi and without ... however it didn't turn green on the achievement tracker...

Today I completed
成柏!
,
突袭死语者高地
, and
顺藤摸瓜
without taking any damage, and I received no credit for any of them. I double-checked my damage meter to confirm that I did not take damage. I chose
Protector Yi
as my companion, so he would tank everything at a distance from me while I nuked it all down. I suspect that as mentioned, your companion counts as "you" for the criteria. I suggest not picking up a companion, just to be safe, and either kiting your heart out or bringing a friend to help.
Edit 10/14
-- The same set of quests were available for me again today, so I decided to try another companion, because other people have apparently had success. I chose
Chao the Voice
, and unfortunately,
did not
receive credit again. This achievement is extremely buggy and/or quirky to say the least. Definitely frustrating.
Edit 10/15
-- I successfully completed
突袭死语者高地
and
顺藤摸瓜
without a companion.
I attempted
成柏!
by tagging him and having a guildmate kill him, but did not receive credit.
Edit 10/16
-- Attempted Cheng Bo again without a companion, did not receive credit. I did not take any damage from quest pickup through turn in.
Edit 10/21
-- Did not receive credit for
灵魂尘
or Cheng Bo again, no companion used.
Edit 10/24
-- At this point, it's obvious that this achievement is buggy as hell. I've continually attempted Cheng Bo and the other criteria I'm missing with no success, with and without friends/companions. While some people may get lucky and complete these, it's certainly not that way for the rest of us. If I manage to complete my remaining quests then I will update this post with my methods.
Edit 11/16
-- I can now confirm that if you take no damage through all the prerequisites, AND Cheng Bo, you will receive credit for the Cheng Bo criteria. I think what may have been happening to me before is I carelessly touched fire or took slight falling damage prior to accepting/completing Cheng Bo. I completed both Cheng and Spirit Dust today with Protector Yi, and I was careful to not take damage from beginning to finish on these dailies, from *any* source. Also, just to be extra safe, I made sure that I was dismounted when I turned the quests in. I had heard this was affecting other achievements, and didn't want to take any chances. Good luck everyone!

Annoying achievement if you're trying to solo it as a melee.
突袭死语者高地
and
灵魂尘
were the toughest for me.
I would suggest picking Chao the Voice over Protector Yi. While her survivability is way lower, her aggro is just as good. One of the biggest problems I had with Protector Yi was his obnoxious habit of simply charging off at anything and everything in the middle of combat, including taunting other players' packs and non-aggressive turtles and moths. Before you know it, you got the entire field after you.
Chao, however, will just stick to one pack unless another actually gets too close to you or a stray Shadow Crash hits her. And yeah, watch out for Shadow Crashes...if other people are questing in the area they will target you even if you're not in combat with them and they do not always indicate where they're going to land (listen for the sound instead). Once Chao has aggro just run in to AoE and interrupt any Shadow Novas that start to cast.
The other quests you can easily do by tossing bombs into the camp, which you can pick up without aggroing any enemies.
For the
乌奴克!
and
成柏!
, just wait for someone to come by to kill them and tag for credit.

First, make sure you only attempt this one area at a time (as grouped below). Keep your combat log open, and turn in quests immediately as long as you haven't been hit by anything. If your tank companion looks like they are about to die, start running and get out of combat before they turn on you. Its better to reset a risky encounter than have to start over from scratch.
You have 3 companion options and they each have a different set of abilities:
Protector Yi (
黑衣卫坚守者
) is usually considered the best at surviving, but has a tendency to pull extra nearby mobs with his Charge ability.
Chao the Voice (
黑衣卫战斗大师
) has excellent interupts which can help with certian mobs.
Lao-Chin the Iron Belly (
黑衣卫酒仙
) drops healing orbs which is helpful normally, but for this achievement avoiding damage is more important.
突袭死语者高地
- If possible, crowd-control the
死语渎尸者
before pulling, then assist your tank companion on clearing the
被亵渎的幽灵
s. When the Corpsedefiler is active, he'll cast Shadow Novas at melee and lob Shadow Crashes at ranged. Chao the Voice is useful for interupts if you're a healer or melee, otherwise use Protector Yi or Lao-Chin the Iron Belly to survive these bigger packs.
顺藤摸瓜
/
灵魂尘
- Items for these drop off the same mobs you kill above. You should be able to collect enough
古代灵魂尘
easily, but the
密文卷轴
has a very low droprate. A very safe approach if you're already done with "Assault Deadtalker's Plateau" part of the achievement is to use Chao the Voice and kill
乌奴克
repeatedly, as he has a chance to drop
密文卷轴
as well.
我敌人的敌人……还是我的敌人!
- There are several bomb spawn locations which can be reached without ever getting into combat. Collect 10 bomb (the maximum), and while flying, drop them on large concentrations of either Yaungol or Mantid combatents.
突袭铠胄火营
- While flying and still within the "Gai-Cho Battlefield" subzone, you can reach a few of the Fire Camp mobs with the same bombs used for
我敌人的敌人……还是我的敌人!
.
乌奴克!
- Use Chao the Voice for this, as she can very reliably interupt Urok's spells.
成柏!
- The easiest way to do this is to dismiss your companion and wait for another player to engage the boss. Poke him from long range then run away, staying close enough to get credit when he does die. Unfortunately, this part is very frustrating without using this method because
成柏
has two connected adds that instantly respawn if killed. They both have abilities that can hit you suddenly and unavoidably:
铠胄地语者
casts
地震术
and
铠胄野牛人
can
冲锋
.

I got credit for spirit dust, the next day it was gone from the achievement counter. I also didn't get credit for cheng bo like most people here. Don't waste your nerves on this until they fix things.
Edit : To get credit for Uruk and Cheng Bo you need to have taken 0 dmg on the two pre-requisite dailies. So both fire-camp dailies for cheng bo, or the two deadtalker dailies for Uruk.
Edit2 : I successfully completed the achievement today on november 1st with spirit dust as my last turn in.

As far as I can tell, if you take damage at Uruk or Cheng Bo and you abandon and retake the quest, you still don't get credit for it. This happened once for me and once for a friend (the one who abandoned got credit, the other didn't, neither took damage in that try). This doesn't apply to the other sub-achievements though. You can abandon those quests as many times as you want.

I've been attacked by a player of the opposite faction while collecting the oil barrel. Despite the description of this achievement I imagine we're not supposed to take any damage at all.
As

suggested retrieving at least 10 barrels (or even 16) before taking the quest
Assault Fire Camp Gai-Cho
is a lot more safe.

For
突袭铠胄火营
. As a mage the Earthtalkers do instant Earthquakes off my companion so they're bad pulls, and the Yaungols do periodic charges at me away from Protector Yi, so THEY'RE bad pulls. I focused exclusively on Pitchthowers, and that was working well (if very slow), until Protector Yi decided to despawn for one pull, let me take damage, and come back after the mob was dead. Gee thanks. So be advised that this can happen. Not fun after you've painstakingly gotten to 12 of the required 16 for it to glitch out.

I have not been able to get Cheng Bo or Uruk either, despite trying several different methods. I believe that since they are the "follow up" quests, you cannot take any damage during the "starter" quests either.
I do have a friend with credit for Cheng Bo (Bladesedge on Stormreaver), and I believe he got it by being AFK in a group while 4 others completed the dailies for him.

im giving up , this as BLIZZARD usual #$%^ up written all over it , just like sha of hatred bug where you dont get credit after killing it ,
just like silent assassin that you don't get the achiv if you turn the quest mounted ,
just like the thunder king helmet quest where you can't loot the helmet ,
just like the battle axe of the thunder king where the gate won't open and im sure there many more bugs like that i dont even know , i guess almost a year of mop beta wasnt enough to find obvious stuff like that .

well , if your a real wow player you have no friend , why would you play wow if you had friends and how would you find time to spend with friends right ? ;p
nan to be more serious , try spamming trade chat for help and/or offer a reward , try also finding more populated servers because the chance are higher than someone that is doing the quest wont mind doing them for you , you do that by finding someone in another server who wont mind grouping with you for like 15-30 min .
if you ever confirm that you can get the full achiv by only being in a party with someone who is doing the quest (apparently it dont work either from what i can see on other comments ) please do post it cause id really like to know if blizzard actually intended us to do 4 quest w/o canceling, w/o getting dommage and a boss quest for this achivment (which would be ridiculous imo but somehow wouldn surprise me that much) and also lets no forget those awesome adds with cheng bo that charge you even if your not fighting them (yeah thats fair blizzard , tyvm)

and

. I then had a friend kill Cheng Bo for me while I stayed mounted up in the air. I dismounted before turning in the quest to Master Snowdrift (just in case) and received credit.
It looks like you need to have taken ZERO damage for all of the pre-quests, up to and including Cheng Bo and Uruk, in order to get credit for them.

Dual boxed this.
- Had my main flying a mile up in the sky above and only came down to loot corpses when the coast was completely clear
- Dismounted in a safe spot and turned my quests in to my companion after each quest
Did NOT receive credit for any portions of this achievement at any time
Since there are no guides yet for this achieve, here are some things i'd suggest trying for those going for this achievement:
- Do not be mounted while turning in any quest (I believe
was bugged this way)
- Turn in quests at Master Snowdrift instead of your companion
- Do not be in a group when turning in these quests

I know a lot of people are saying that they did or didn't have trouble with Cheng Bo, so I thought I might as well throw my two cents in.
First, I didn't dare try to do this myself. With the instant-cast earthquake and the yaungol charges, I didn't risk it. I hovered by Cheng for a good five minutes before anyone else came along.
I also made sure not to take any damage on the Assault Fire Camp and The Enemy prerequisite quests.
I did have Protector Yi with me, but I don't know if he got hit by Cheng Bo. However, he has taken damage while I've done Spirit Dust and Assault Deadtalker's, so I don't think that matters.
And finally, I made sure to dismount before turning Cheng Bo in. I don't know if that makes a difference, but I know it does cause bugs for other Shadow-Pan achievements.
I also did/turned in Cheng Bo before I did Spirit Dust and Assualt Deadtalker's for the day, not sure if that makes a difference.
All the other ones I've done without issue, though Spirit Dust has been resetting and a GM confirmed for me that they're aware of this and intend to fix it.

I did all Blackguard quests and had Cheng Bo, I killed him but I forgot to turn it in.

For those having issues with Assault Fire Camp Gai-Cho 0 damage due to Earthtalkers, submitted a screenshot (the pic with Druid + Protector Yi - gotta wait for the ss to be approved) of a good location to wait patiently for spawns. Co-ord: 64, 42
1 Pitchthrower and 1 Yaungol spawn directly at the foremost tent and a second Pitchthrower spawns and pats up the ramp towards the second tent. Good place to stand is the pic's PoV/Co-ords at the base of the cliff-face to your right. :-)
Remember to stay within melee range of the Yaungol to avoid charge but just enough to avoid burning oil bomb!
P.S.: Very good spawn rate on ore nodes w/o monsters around the area while you wait.

The easiest way to get credit for Assault and Enemy of my Enemy portions of this is simply to use the fire bombs. They will one shot the Earthtalkers, Pitchthrowers and Yaungol up in the camp. You just need to make sure that the minimap says you are in the battlefield and toss away. The easiest ones to hit are on the path/ramp leading up to the camp itself.
To pick up the fire barrels just wait around, they tend to respawn faster than the NPC's so grabbing a few and then saving a couple to use in order to clear out the camp again to restock on them is easy.

When you pick up a Blackguard companion a hidden aura is applied to you. If you take any damage the aura is cancelled. This is the actual criteria for this achievement. Thus you will not get credit for any of the achievements if this aura is not up.

If you are trying
Spirit Dust
by yourself, gather up and kill all the required mobs to get enough dust but do not loot them. Pick up the quest again and go back and you will find the quest dust is still there from the previous kills, just fly to mounds and use the dust when the mobs move away since you don't need to dismount and you get credit.

Use the bombs that u pick up for the 100 mobs-to-kill quest and bomb 16 of those taurens. I think only 3 are avaialble to be bombed due to distance and they got very decent respawn rate (You have to be in the correct zone to use bombs afterall) but yeah, saves alot of furtration from a random charge/instant earthquake/1000yd range firenova totem etcetc.

Regarding "Spirit Dust" step not granted:
Greetings,
Thank you for submitting a petition regarding the Know your Role achievement. This issue is currently under investigation by our developers however I am afraid that until the issue has been fixed we cannot grant the achievement to players, as we cannot verify in our server logs that no damage was taken during the completion of the quests. With regards to “Spirit Dust” resetting itself upon completion, sadly we cannot grant this back to players until the issue is fixed as it will be removed again due to the bug.

For those having trouble getting credit for
成柏!
, this is what I did that seemed to work. Can't say all these steps are necessary but I got credit doing this:
1. Start with
突袭铠胄火营
as the first daily you do. If you want, you can take damage with this one. After you finish, turn it in.
2. Assuming you took damage in step 1, abandon (or just don't pick up to begin with)
我敌人的敌人……还是我的敌人!
Go back to camp and pick it up again. Very carefully pick up oil barrels without taking damage (this shouldn't be too difficult, especially if other players are clearing out the Yangol in the area... the barrels respawn very quickly). Complete this quest by tossing the barrels from your flying mount, not taking any damage.
3.
成柏!
should now be offered (assuming of course that quest is up and it's not
乌奴克!
). Kill Cheng Bo while getting the tap on him (I'm not sure if this is necessary but I've never gotten credit without it). I recommend CCing the two adds if possible as they all have nasty moves that can ruin this achievement for you. I also found Chao the Voice to be a decent tank for this as she won't do crazy aoe moves to break your CC like Yi loves to do. If you're lucky, some other player will come up and help you finish him off. I found it helpful to hide behind Cheng Bo's tent to avoid being in LOS of one of the charging adds, though be careful if the caster loses CC since Earthquake can easily screw you.
4. If all went well, go back and turn the quest in. Make absolutely sure you are
NOT mounted
(and I recommend the NPC not be mounted for good measure) when turning in, as this tends to screw up a lot of achievement credit for some ungodly reason.
A big question mark is whether you can abandon the quest and re-accept it in the case you get hit. I'm not sure as other times I've tried abandoning and didn't get credit, but then I didn't have the tap on Cheng Bo either. I also recommend starting with these quests since if you do all but
成柏!
, they like to take away your NPC from you.

After a lot of attempts I finally completed this archieve today. The best and guaranteed way to get credit and save time is to ask a friend or a person who does the dailies to party and stay mounted the entire time.
And yes the Spirit Dusts still resets 2-3 days later, or there is such a chance. So do this part after you get credits for all other quests on the list.
Got credit for the "bosses" only being in group.

Ok, I can confirm that (although it's obvious that this achievement sucks, rewarding people for letting friends do your quests while you fly around on your mount or letting people get bosses to 50k and then throw a hit to get credit, or letting people kill mobs so you can loot the bombs, and punishing people who actually try to do it without asking for help) you can get credit for both cheng bo and uruk by completing the pre-quests without damage.
I heard rumors that you only have one chance for cheng bo and uruk quests, but I can definitely confirm that you can do every pre-quest, fail and retry as many times as you want, and you will still get credit for the bosses if you haven't taken damage during the pre-quests when you completed them.

. Turning in either of these after damage has been taken will forfeit your chance for
成柏!
credit for the day, even if you abandon the other 3 dailies and pick them up again.
You can use the
野牛人高爆油桶
required for
我敌人的敌人……还是我的敌人!
to 1-shot the 16 Yaungol for
突袭铠胄火营
and get credit for both as long as damage is not taken while collecting the barrels or any point between accepting and returning the dailies.
You can do
突袭铠胄火营
and
我敌人的敌人……还是我的敌人!
together then go straight to
成柏!
so you can save
灵魂尘
for last because it is still bugged as of 11-18-12 and will reset achievement credit daily.
守护者阿易
will make all of the dailies required easier except the 3 in Fire-Camp Gai-Cho:
成柏!
我敌人的敌人……还是我的敌人!
&
突袭铠胄火营
. I found that doing those 3 on your own was just easier because you never want to actually aggro anything there until you get to Cheng, and even then you only want him, not every mob in the area (which Yi always manages to pull).
With these in mind, the best way to kill Cheng is to use a crowd control on each of his 2 adds and kite him around his tent with him slowed at all times. As a rogue, I did not need help but a 2nd person could make it easier as long as you both know how to never get hit at any point during Shado-Pan dailies that day. I sapped one, blinded the other, and stunlock bursted Cheng as long as I could then kited him with
减速药膏
+
飞镖投掷
until he was dead. As tough as he may seem, he is not bugged - just a very tough part of a flawless victory-type achievement that gives no second chances. Uruk is the same way, just not as hard because he has no adds to cc. Keep trying every day these dailies are available, you will get it with practice.
The real challenge to Shado-Master is getting a gold on the SPM challenge mode...

Just did Assult Fire Camp Gai-Cho and The Enemy of My Enemy... Is Still My Enemy.
The Deadtalker Cipher and Cheng Bo as a frost mage this was quite easy failed on Assult Deadtaker's Plateu.
I used Protector Yi as my Companion.
So i supose everything is working, prepatch nothing was getting tagged even if i did not get it.
For Assult on Fire Camp Gai-Cho and The Enemy of My Enemy... I used the bombs and only got to ground when i had to pick up more bombs.
Cheng Bo was really as as frost did not CC any of his 2 adds.
The Deadtalker Cipher is really easy with Protecto Yi if you are a ranged class.
As for Assult on Deadtalker's Plateau this one is really tricky i have to find a way thats working for me next time i come across this hub.

Cheng-bo can be half cheated at. If you load up with extra explosives, and before you turn in the quest, you can position yourself carefully, launch a barrel in front of the door, and while it's in flight, prep to complete the quest "The Enemy of My Enemy... Is Still My Enemy!" (make sure you already turned in Assault Fire Camp Gai-Cho). That will kill both adds, and damage Cheng-bo himself by ~50% (unless it crits, in which case it may well kill him ><). Complete "The Enemy of My..." quest with your partner (Protector Yi is best for this), land, pull and let Yi tank him, and unload on the remaining health. Just mount and bail as quickly as possible.
Now, if i could only get The Deadtalker Cipher to to actually register that I didn't take damage :(

I managed to pull
Assault Deadtalker's Plateau
and
Spirit Dust
off as a melee without getting hit like this:
1. Go to the eastern tip of the quest area (directly east of
Uruk
, near where the coast dips inward a bit). There is a stationary
Deadtalker Corpsedefiler
there surrounded by four
Defiled Spirits
. Another
Deadtalker Corpsedefiler
followed by eight
Defiled Spirits
will patrol past them toward the aforementioned eastern tip. A
Deadtalker Crusher
will also patrol in that general area, but he won't go past the stationary
Deadtalker Corpsedefiler
.
2. Wait for the
Deadtalker Corpsedefiler
followed by the eight
Defiled Spirits
to reach the end of their pat, then run up to them and run away.
Protector Yi
will eventually start attacking them (note: I did this while stealthed, so I recognize that it may be harder for non-stealth melee classes, but I assume the same general concepts will apply).
3. Make sure that your have the
Deadtalker Corpsedefiler
selected so you know when he's casting something. From there you simply
occasionally
(so as not to pull aggro) run in and do something that does AoE (I used
Swipe
). When he casts
Shadow Crash
you make sure you don't stand in it, and when he casts
Shadow Nova
you make sure you aren't standing nearby. Both are interruptible, in case you're feeling especially nimble.
4. You should then have enough time to do the same thing to the stationary
Deadtalker Corpsedefiler
(make sure that the
Deadtalker Crusher
isn't about to pat toward you, though). The respawns don't seem to take very long, so with a little bit of patience and accuracy you can do this cycle four times and complete both quests without getting hit.
5. You'll of course have to kill a
Deadtalker Crusher
as well for
Assault Deadtalker's Plateau
. As long as you stay behind him and don't go all out so as to draw aggro, this should be fairly easy. I think the best spot for this is south of
Uruk
, by the two fire totems that mark the entrance to Deadtalker's Plateau.
One final note: Make sure that
Protector Yi
gets healed up in between attempts. I made that mistake a couple times and had to run away to lose aggro.

If you are using Protector Yi and see your health a little low at the beginning of the fight, do not despair! Protector Yi casts

While I'm sure this gonna generate a whole bunch of 'No DUH!' comments, I would like to point out that Fire Nova Totems dropped by the Earthcallers that you have deal with on the Cheng Bo quest and the Fire Camp Cho-Gai quest have a vertical component - meaning that if you're flying (or hovering) and the dude drops a Fire Nova Totem, you can take damage from it. And that damage will abort your progress toward the achievement for the quest in question.
Live and learn... And try again tomorrow.

As of today, 12/16/2012, the two prerequisite quests no longer need to be completed before credit counts toward a boss quest. In other words, I took damage and failed
顺藤摸瓜
, but managed to complete
乌奴克!
without getting hit and it counted towards progress of the achievement.
FYI - to get credit for
乌奴克!
, I just hovered around waiting for other players to attack him (I was NOT grouped up with anyone). Dropped a couple Judgements on him from a distance, and let

Assault Deadtalker's Plateau

Has to be some issue with the Uruk part of this achive. I've now done it 4 times in various ways without taking any damage and still not got credit. I play a hunter but kill Uruk without a pet as I know a pet taking damage could fail it.
I've so far tried grouping with someone and letting them fight Uruk and then I tag it just before it dies. I took no damage but got no achievement credit.
I've tried tagging Uruk while he's being killed by some random person who i'm not grouped with. I took no damage but go no achievement credit.
I've tried killing it completely solo without a pet. I kept well away from the boss so couldn't melee and interrupted all 4 of his casts with silencing shot, scatter shot (used readiness) then interrupted with silencing shot and scatter shot again. I took no damage but got no achievement credit.
The only other things I have left to try is to make sure I make sure I dismount before handing in the quest at shado-pan garrison because someone said there may be an issue there (although it didn't stop me getting the other 6 parts of the achievement 1st time without issue).
I could also try dismissing my shado-pan companion before I fight Urok. My shado pan companion has been taking damage but I don't think that can be an issue because I let the companion actually tank the mobs for all the other parts of the achieve and I got all of those 1st time.

We had "Cheng Bo!" quest today on our realm and I did all 4 first quests with taking damage, then accepting "Cheng Bo!" and let my friend kill both guards and then engage and kill boss and I DID NOT get the achievement.
So I guess you still must nto take any damage from all quests from that chain.
And my friend got the ach while his friend killed all that was needed for quests so party members can take damage from any source, but it's not 100% sure since it was not me who tested that

Some quick hunter's notes on completing the
突袭铠胄火营
/
我敌人的敌人……还是我的敌人!
/
成柏!
set - I employed this method with no non-pet companion, player or NPC:
There's a place at around 64, 43 in Townlong where you can stand next to a torch overlooking one of the tent sites. Do so and place your pet on Passive, standing in the middle of the pathway below. If you are in any way uncertain about range-based aggro, err the positioning towards you. (I did this with a Tenacity-specced pet for obvious reasons; mine was a Terrorpene but I don't imagine family abilities would alter the method any.)
I chose this spot after some trial and error for a few reasons:
1. there are three Yaungol spawning there, at manageable intervals
2. none of them, so far as I saw, will ever be the
铠胄地语者
shaman mob, which cost me quite a few tries at this with their ill-placed AoE
3. they are far enough apart that if you just pull them from closest to furthest - using Misdirection carefully and keeping your pet on Passive, waiting to toggle its attack mode until the mob's on top of it - no unintended aggro should result
4. although I had already finished Enemy by the time I ran across this spot, there are several oil barrels spawning within easy reach, none of which should cause pull problems if you've recently killed the trio.
Their spawn is slow, but taking this achievement methodically seems to be the key. This is entirely anecdotal and probably obvious but it may prove useful to someone out there.
(And apparently they didn't fix the bug regarding the Cheng Bo section in 5.1; it still seems to fail you if you take damage and then restart the quest. Because... this achievement clearly needed to be more aggravating.)

In order to receive credit for Cheng bo or Uruk, you DO NOT need to take zero damage on either of the two prereq quests, simply abandon ALL shado-pan daily quests and fly back to the hub and accept them all, grab your npc helper and proceed to killing the named without taking any damage. Worked like a charm today for me.

I finally got the criteria for the Cheng Bo! I hope my tips help. First I did the first 2 quests The Enemy of My Enemy... Is Still My Enemy! along with Assault Fire Camp Gai-Cho, I took regular damage from them. When I got to Cheng Bo! I threw a dagger at him to tag him while another player killed him. I still took damage from a Gai-Cho charge, so I abandoned the quest and tried again. I had Spirit Dust with me so I also abandoned that as well and picked it up again, I Tried Cheng Bo! again by tagging him with a dagger while another player killed him, I went back to turn it in and a few things to note, I still had Spirit Dust not completed but active I also dismounted before I turned in the quest as well. Either they fixed some of the bugs in 5.1 or some of the assumed issues are not issues and could be something as simple as dismounting

You only get one of
乌奴克!
or
成柏!
each day. It is random which one you get. If if it
乌奴克!
, you will get if after completing the first two Deadtalker's Plateau dailies, and if it is
成柏!
, you will get it after doing the first two Gai-Cho dailies. In order to get credit for the achievement here, it seems like you also need to NOT take damage from the two preceeding quests
If you are only missing one for the achievement, and you do not want to go through the pain of not taking damage for the two preceeding just to find out the other one is up (again), you can do the two OTHER ones. If you do not get the final quest, you KNOIW that the one you are after will (finally) be up. And you can do those two dailies without taking damage (or die trying).

I FINALLY got the Uruk part of this quest completed which was the last 1 I needed.
I'd previously done the Uruk quest 4 times without taking any damage and never got credit. I did all 4 pre quests without taking any damage at all. I then waited at Uruk till someone else engaged him then just tagged him before he died.
So from all my experiences in the past and today it seems you definitely need to complete the 2 prequests without taking damage as well as the Uruk quest.
Easiest way to get this done will just be to get someone else to kill all the mobs for the prequests while you stay mounted on a flying mount up above and then let them engage uruk and just tag him before he dies. This should work as a party member taking damage wont fail the achieve for you. I know it wont fail it for you because I got most of the other parts of the achieve for a friend in this way.

just got the

part finally and i can confirm that you indeed have to complete the prerequisite The
Enemy of My Enemy... Is Still My Enemy!
and
Assault Fire Camp Gai-Cho
without taking any damage then you must kill cheng bo without taking damage on your first try if you take do take damage there is nothing to do except wait till you get it again (if you abandon and retake the quest you wont get credit) and this is perhaps the most annoying thing of the entire ordeal but you CANNOT BE MOUNTED when you turn in any of the dailies (this goes for all achievements not just this one) if you want the credit i went the extra mile to even turn these quests in to the panda you get the quest from originally but there is no proof that you actually have to do this this is just to make sure there are no hinges

Just did this today and it is very easy for anyone to repeat, including melee. Just go around and grab the bombs. You have to be in the battlefield to use them, there is a place just off the ledge at 61,44 where you can bombs the gai-cho mobs and not have to land to kill them. Good Luck.

Useful tip for warlocks and hunters: while at a safe distance away, "move" your minion or pet to stack on the mob(s) -- rather than starting out with an attack command. This will greatly reduce the occasional off-chance that you'll get aggro yourself.
Stay just outside of
max range
from
铠胄地语者
's, since if you're so much as an inch too close, you'll take near instant damage from a ground rumble. You can get JUST close enough to fire off a ranged attack if you need to tag it, but IMMEDIATELY back off to avoid damage!
Note, of course, that there is no easy button for getting this achievement. It is, to say the least, frustrating.

It's been said the easiest and almost seemingly only possible way to complete this achievement is by following a friend around while they do everything.
I think this is as Blizzard intended. It's named Know Your Role. They want you to be like one of the Shado-Pan companions for your friend: fly around behind you and do nothing useful. It's your role.

I wanted to share my exp on soloing this achievement:
indeed the best and easiest way to accomplish this achiev is by grouping up with someone that's doing the dailies and just fly above him while he completes the quests. you can bring a friend to help or you can ask someone nicely to group with you and explain that you trying to do the achiev, I was never turned down by anyone when I asked politely.
few side notes:
1. you must not get hit by anything in the zone upon entering it even before taking the dailies (do not tempt to kill an elite that pops on npc scan and watch out from other fraction players).
2. taking and handing in quests while mounted seem to not fail the achiev now but I dismounted before taking and handing in the quests. also I handed in the quest to the quest giver and not to the npc that follows you (won't hurt to be cautious).
3. turn on damage received on your damage meter so you know if you are ok.
4. if you fail and receive any damage come back tomorrow because abandoning and retaking the quest DOES NOT count...
5. if you need
乌奴克!
or
成柏!
and you already done the first 2 pre quests without taking dmg on some other day you MUST not take damage on the pre quests today as well to get credit! (only on the 2 relevant pre quests).
for the quests themselves:
突袭死语者高地
- doable as a caster/ranged with Protector Yi tanking be careful from
暗影撞击
and keep moving. not possible to accomplish as meele.
灵魂尘
- usually goes with the quest above or with
顺藤摸瓜
(seem to be extremely rare), above apply but each time you gather 8 spirit dusts find and click what needed to be clicked, be careful from aggroing other mobs - do this the 8 times as needed.
顺藤摸瓜
- if this quest is up its your lucky day! do it carefully and dont mess up..
same as above.
* all of these again not doable as meele.
after completing the above quest you get
乌奴克!
(auto accept). if not then its
成柏!
day and its the second hub.
乌奴克!
- not doable without help (do not engage at all as he opens up with
暗影箭
and fails the achiev). you can idle while someone else fighting him and when he is low on hp tag him in any possible way without taking damage, you will get credit for him.
我敌人的敌人……还是我的敌人!
- doable as druid in flight for - gather the firebombs from a distance and you're ok or if someone cleared the area and you can gather the firebombs safely (watch out from fast respawns). else get help.
突袭铠胄火营
- not advisable to solo for any class - get help. for casters/ranged that want to solo this (i failed on the 16th mob the first time i tried it) don't engage
铠胄野牛人
at all because they will use
冲锋
on you and fail the achiev as happened to me.. keep moving and watch aggro from other mobs. best places to do this is on the edges of the village.
成柏!
- not advisable to solo for any class - get help.
follow the above instructions and you will get it without any problems.
i wish good luck to all the dedicated achievement hunter trying this!

Just a small note: You can take the barrels from The Enemy of My Enemy... Is Still My Enemy! (
我敌人的敌人……还是我的敌人!
) and use to kill the mobs for Assault Fire Camp Gai-Cho (
突袭铠胄火营
).
It will NOT count towards The Enemy of My Enemy... Is Still My Enemy! (
我敌人的敌人……还是我的敌人!
), it will however make life a lot easier if u want
影踪大师
which grants the Shado-Master title.
The way to do this is to be on the left side of the hill up to the camp if u come from Master Snowdrift. It will count as if your on the battlefield, allowing you to use the barrels without a breaking a sweat. For (
看清你的责任
) achievement this is extremly helpfull for a melee dps (Or anyone who wants it easy for that matter). Makes this part of the achievement so much easier.
Small note: As this is my "first" helpfull note on Wowhead i'm still not familiar with how u add links which shows items, achievements, spells etc. When i figure it out i will update this post to reflect this.
Edit: Added some links that should help a bit.

I was able to solo the deadtalker/spirit dust quests as a windwalker monk.
You must have the glyph of zen flight equipped. When you use it, your companion will not be mounted and will run on the ground below you. Walk him into a group to start the fight. Note that you can't fly too high as when combat starts, you will be dismounted. After your companion has some aggro, use jab and build enough chi to use touch of death on the corpsedefiler. You should be able to kill him quick enough so that he may only attempt to cast shadow nova once which can easily be interrupted. Aoe down the rest of the ghosts.
After that, fly over the water to the west and use zen flight to dismount/reset your companion to full health. Wait on the cd of touch of death, and rinse/repeat until all 8 are defeated. The bosses/elites are easily soloable as you can just use a ranged attack to get credit while someone else is killing one.

As of 5.1 on 2/16/2013
Ok so I did several attempts with this and as being the Guild Master (Linyah - Ferus Ordo, on Durotan) I had several people I pulled in to get this right and figure out the method behind this madness as no one had a clear method of this. I took and wrote down numerous strats and although some worked partially, others did not, and thus 8 guildies later out of my core 25 group, this is what I found out.
The correct way to guarantee this method involves several things and this WILL work cause I wrote it down and watched as I take strats seriously.
First things first, one must realize and be ready to understand and comprehend that this achievement will NOT be completed in one day but can be completed within 24 hours if you know your server daily reset time is and are lucky with RNG Shadow Pan faction to offer the other RNG boss daily.
1)
If you want buffs do it
BEFORE
accepting the dailies - Fortified buff was cast when I personally attempted this achievement and the druid had it unknowingly and pointed it out during the
Spirit
quest and had 12 minutes remaining.
2)
Leave the companions behind, seriously we never liked them in the first place
3)
Do
NOT
heal or buff the achievement partner/player at all during the quest, this INCLUDES (Sorry Shadow Priest)
Vamp Embrace
, as I used this once and a guildy got denied, and thus no good, this also includes
Void Shifting
. Even though its "friendly fire" still hurts, I had to try it.
4)
The person doing this achievement should turn in at the base camp
UNMOUNTED
!
5)
The person getting achievement should
NOT
take any falling damage
6)
The person should
NOT
leave the zone
7)
The best way and quickest way is to do this with 3 other players, did it with a mage, and a druid partner with another druid (achievement player in the air)
8)
Accepting the daily and receiving damage at ANY point and then abandoning the daily and re-acquiring the daily and take NO damage will NOT give you credit. Receiving any damage at ANY point during the first daily to the last daily required for this achievement = FAIL and no +10 Achievement points for you. Wait until they are offered again, ie
Will not work
The way we did this was:
Accept
ONLY
these
TWO
dailies first
1)
The Enemy of My Enemy... Is Still My Enemy!
&
Assault Fire Camp Gai-Cho
-
NO OTHERS!
Complete and turn in
UNMOUNTED
!
* From this point on all other dailies
SHOULD
be completed
ONE
at a time doing the following first:
2)
Accept:
Cheng Bo!
- Now this one I had many mixed information and tried all the strats, and one thing was noted for it to complete the player on achievement does appear to have to hit the
NPC
with something, whether its a gun, spell, dot, thrown weapon, something that does damage, even a bloody wand, or a throwing object like engineers make. There is a sweet spot between the 2 tents in the back near the mountain and the druid cast 2 spells and stayed there and stayed there until left battle. - Again turn in UNMOUNTED
3)
Accept
Assault Deadtalker's Plateau
, and turn in UNMOUNTED!
4)
Saved
Spirit Dust
for last and yes credit was given
Notice: 6 of the 7 dailies were all offered on the same day. However
Uruk!
was the one not offered as it is a RNG boss daily with
Cheng Bo
.
The Deadtalker Cipher
wasn't not offered to us and was obtained
PRIOR
to doing the initial 2 dailies before, obtained by killing Deadtalker mobs including the elite mobs.
Quest giver is:
Master Snowdrift
Achievement in progress: Wyself - Druid, Durotan

I haven't tried this yet and don't know if it's been mentioned before, but if you have an NPC follower and reach the point where you'd normally receive the Chen Bo quest, just make sure you finish off all the adds around Chen Bo, complete the pre-quest, then accept Chen Bo just before killing him. If you finish him off at range there should be no point in which you receive any damage upon accepting his quest.

Like all the Shado-pan achievements, this one is heavily bugged. Thankfully it doesn't seem to be as bad as Silent Assassin. There are a few things to watch out for though.
The achievement doesn't track how much health damage you take, it tracks if ANY potentially-damaging hit happens to you. Absorbing the damage (such as with a mage's Ice Barrier or a Death Knight's Blood Shield) will FAIL the achievement. Standing in fire or taking fall damage will also fail it. I find it easier to not have any shields up so you can tell more easily that you failed. And of course keep an eye on the combat log.
The Deadtalker Cipher
seems like a rare quest that replaces
Spirit Dust
. The other 3 prerequisite quests are always up. Which one of the boss quests you get seems to depend on which two prerequisites you do first - completing the Deadtalker ones first unlocks
Uruk!
while doing the Gai-Cho ones first unlocks
Cheng Bo!
. Keep this in mind when deciding which quests to do first. Say (like me) you're missing credit for only
The Deadtalker Cipher
and
Cheng Bo!
, don't rush to do the Cipher - make sure you unlock Cheng Bo first by completing the two Gai-Cho quests.
There's a caveat though: comments here claim that you only get credit for Uruk if you complete the two prerequisite quests that unlock it without damage, and the same for Cheng-Bo and its two prerequisites. However when I did both Gai-Cho quests (for which I already had credit) and then immediately Chang-Bo, before doing the Deadtalker quests, I did NOT get credit for Cheng-Bo. So the next time the quests were available I did the two Gai-Cho quests, made sure to turn them in to my companion, picked up Cheng-Bo
but did not complete it
, went to Deadtalker to do both quests there, and THEN killed Cheng-Bo. This got me the achievement. I don't know if you need to do all FOUR quests before Uruk or Cheng-Bo to get credit for these two, but better safe than sorry.
Oh and don't even think about doing these by yourself on a Death Knight. When your only CC is Chains of Ice, you don't stand a chance, especially on Deadtalker. The companions are more likely to be a liability than an asset, especially when Yi pulls half of Deadtalker on a whim and then rushes back to you, bringing half a dozen homing shadow crashes on you. Save yourself a lot of heartache and get a friend to help. If you don't want to feel like you're cheating by just AFKing in mid-air while your friend does everything, you can participate in the killing, just make sure your friend has aggro at all times (hey, you're still knowing your role if you do that!). The achievement is probably more soloable on something like a mage (though beware of Ice Barrier as above), and might even be relatively easy with a hunter or warlock.
I did all turn ins when dismounted, and to my companion when I could, but I don't know if it makes any difference. I also did not have the problem others reported where you lose credit for
Spirit Dust
. If you do lose it, just get credit for all the others, and if only Spirit Dust is missing you should get the achievement the next time you do it.

Just an unfortunate note for priests: if an enemy attacks you, but Power Word: Shield prevents you from taking damage, you still lose credit for this achievement even though you didn't take any damage. Balls.
I'd be interested to know if the same thing happens with paladin shields.

You can absolutely take as much damage as you want during this achievement, because there is a bug that is easily exploitable.
As Nymrohd posted in his comment earlier, when you accept any of these quests, a hidden buff is cast on you:
黑衣卫守护
. It's extinguished when you take damage. Still having this buff when you turn in the quest is the actual criteria of the achievement.
What makes this interesting is that all six quests apply the same buff.
As a result, you can accept three of the daily quests, do them normally, and take lots of damage. But before you turn them in, fly back to camp and accept the fourth quest. This will re-cast the buff on you. Then turn in the three you completed. You will get credit for the achievement. On a different day, do the same thing in a different order to get the one you didn't get.
The boss quests Uruk! and Cheng Bo! aren't offered until you've completed all of others for that day, so it's slightly harder to use this trick on these two, but still possible. Accept the boss quest, kill the boss, but don't turn it in. Wait until a different day, when this set of quests is offered again, to accept one of the other quests right before turning it in. That way you'll re-get the buff. I confirmed that this works.

As of 15th March 5:20am GMT - I had Assault and Enemy of my Enemy, got Charge damage from Yangul warrior guy, abandoned both quests, retook them, redid both quests without taking damage, and got credit for both of them in Know Your Enemy.

Just wanted to point out a bug, or what certainly seems like it to me.
For the quest; "Assault Deadtalker's Plateau".
Right after you pull this freak, you will lose health. Nothing at all hits you either. NOTHING. The good news is you still get the completed part of it. I'm a mage and tested this one thoroughly. Every option for damage turned on in my combat log, nothing showing anything happening to me at all. I did this quest with Protector Yi and took my time. I would toss up living bomb and Ice Block immediately, yet my health dropped right after every time and while ice blocked. Seems like some dip%^&* at blizz just like to annoy people and stress them for no reason.
And yes, my health was dropping "While" I was ice blocked, not before or after.

LockeZ's method for completing this achievement definitely works at the time of writing this (just received credit), so read his comment for general instructions. I'd just like to add my two cents about the boss quests.
Every time the Blackguard dailies are available, you are given a couple of quests for Deadtalker's Plateau and a couple more for Fire Camp Gai-Cho.
In order to get
乌奴克!
, you only need to complete and turn in the two quests taking place in Deadtalker's Plateau.
Likewise, to get
成柏!
, you'll need to turn in just the two Gai-Cho quests.
This is what worked for me, so if anyone else has noticed this, please confirm.
When you're done with the boss, go back to the Shado-Pan Garrison, and pick up one of the remaining quests before turning in the boss quest.

If you are soloing, the way outlined by LockeZ just a few posts below is the best way to do it. Just want to suggest some ways to get it done a little faster. As Chelly mentions in the replies to LockeZ's post, if you do the Deadtalker's Plateau quests first, you can do
Uruk!
on the same day. Also, the quest
The Enemy of My Enemy... Is Still My Enemy!
should be taken last. You can do this from the air. Just keep an eye on the ground, and only pick up oil when there are no Yaungol around. If you get
Cheng Bo!
after turning that quest in, you can do it right away by hanging out on the hill next to his tent. Wait till another player pulls him out, then hit him with a range attack. Maybe not the most ethical way, but will get the job done.

I'm not sure if this has been covered. It's patch 5.3 and I still have a few more quests for this achieve not to mention I'm only revered with Shado Pan. I held onto Cheng Bo! and went to do my dailies today not knowing which quest group I would get. I did a challenger's ring quest but after passing that in, no blue quests were available. I had the ? up for Cheng Bo! but no other quest would be available to me so I did what "made sense" if I wanted to do my dailies and passed it in at which point today's first blue quest came up. No credit for Cheng Bo! under this achieve since today is SraVess. So it would seem it can be much more challenging to get this achieve for Cheng Bo! or Uruk! if you are still getting your rep. My question is, is there a way to know which quest group comes out on which days? I don't know that any of the quest groupings will come up if you are hanging on to either Cheng Bo! or Uruk to get the hidden buff. Otherwise, what LockeZ has said works wonders....just not (maybe) for the two finals if you are still raising your rep.

P.S. Take into consideration this is all considering you do these dailies solo instead of in a group or if you were to tag the quest bosses off someone who got them first. Those are also viable options as well :-D

If you have trouble with
乌奴克!
or
成柏!
Criteria
Copy Paste:
This is a hidden aura cast on you while completing quests related to the
看清你的责任
achievement. Having this aura active is required for achievement credit.
This is noteworthy because the two final quests,
乌奴克!
and
成柏!
do not apply this buff when accepted; it's only applied when you accept the initial four quests from Master Snowdrift at Shado-Pan Garrison. This means that to get credit, you must carry the buff through both* initial quests, as well as whichever of those two quests you receive; taking damage at any point during the final quest will make it impossible to receive credit for that quest that day, as there's no way to go back and re-obtain the initial quests.
*Which of the two final quests you get is predetermined, and is not influenced by any of the following:
1) Your companion, or lack thereof
2) The order in which you complete the four quests
3) Whether you turn quests in to a companion or back at the Garrison
That being said, the safest course of action if you're missing only one between either Uruk or Cheng Bo would be to complete the two quests related to their area, and see if they pop up after you turn them in.

edit: sadly there is currently (afaik) no easy way to track this aura/buff, because it is serverside (hidden/secret aura). u can do it indirectly with addons like poweraura or weakauras and track things like queststart and received dmg.

A few quick tips for doing this as a Monk (any spec):
a) Spec for Xuen, Chi Burst, and Charging Ox Wave. Grab Glyph of Retreat (EXTREMELY IMPORTANT!)
b) Open with Xuen pretty much everytime he's up, especially for mobs of groups (like the Deadtalker shamans with their entourage of spirits). He will immediately grab aggro, and his cleave will grab aggro on everything around him.
c) When Xuen is down, open with Charging Ox Wave. This will initiate whichever Shado Pan companion you have, causing them to charge in and grab aoe aggro.
d) From here, simply use Chi Burst to burn down groups of mobs, especially the spirits, and use Crackling Jade Lightning to cherry pick mobs down.
e) If mobs aggro you, roll away (be careful for surrounding mobs!). This will immediately drop all threat (since you have the Glyph, right?). This is about the only thing that will save you, unless you are WW with Spinning Fire Blossom.
f) Be on constant alert for patrolling mobs. Be ready with Paralysis.
g) For Uruk and Cheng Bo, you must keep in mind that you have to be undamaged through the previous quests. If you need either of these quests, I highly suggest you do the 2 for that area, to see if that quest spawns (eg. Spirit Dust and Assault on Deadtalker's Plateau for Uruk). Don't bother doing the other 2 first if the boss you need has spawned.
Hope this helps! Try not to get frustrated, this is easily one of the more difficult achievements in the game.

There are 2 efficient ways of doing these quests while taking no damage. For classes that have pets, they can use their pets to tank for them. For the rest, you can have your Shado-Pan Companion take all the damage for you, as damage to pets (or companion in this case) don't count for the achievement.
The other way is for your class to have an absorb shield; Priests with Barrier, Warlocks with Talent Soul Leach. I can confirm that even if you take damage while your absorbs are up, you will still get the metas for each quest.
I have heard of another way, but I can't confirm it. If you have a friend and have him take all the damage, if you return the quests with zero damage taken, you will earn the metas.
---------------
This is for Warlocks mostly; but other classes with CC might benefit from this. Do NOT fear the mobs unless you have it glyphed, otherwise you might pull more than one pack/mob! It's best to take each pack at a time to ensure your Soul Leach will be enough. Use your Shadowfury instead to win some time. As an Affliction Warlock I found it easy to use my Seed of Corruption on the mobs, the few that reached me could not outdps my shield.

Apparently what counts is when you literally take damage. If you're absorbing all the damage, say with a Mage's Ice Barrier spell, then you can still finish the achievement. Just make sure your barrier never gets worn all the way down.
EDIT: Why was this downrated? It's 100% true, unless they hotfixed it, in which case you just mark it as out of date. I completed this entire achievement by simply keeping Ice Barrier up constantly, so that even if I accidentally took a hit I wouldn't fail it.

It would seem that even if a single attack hits you and you avoid it through various means (absorbing damage, blocking, dodging, parrying, deflecting, having the attack miss, etc.), you will
not
receive credit.
So basically, this means you have to complete the quests without being directly hit
once.

As said by others, having a friend hit everything while u just tag along will NOT trigger the achieve as it is considered cheating. You must help attack the mobs on each quest or you wont get the count. So tagging along on ur mount will not complete the quest for you. (This was said by a game master so it must be accurate)

Let me add my experience in completing this achievement.
First. as has been pointed out elsewhere, there are 7 Shado-Pan Blackguard quests available from Master Snowdrift only 5 of which will be available on any given day in rotation with the similar sets of dailies from Ban Bearheart and Ling of the Six Pools. Obtaining all 7 quests can take many days since the quest giver up on any given day is random. It took me 53 days to complete all 7.
Second, this group of Shado-Pan Garrison achievements seems to be particularly rife with hidden requirements. For example nowhere in the achievement pane will you find it explicitly stated that
如影随行
cannot be completed unless both you and your NPC partner are dismounted but that is, in fact, the case as you'll discover only by reading the comments on that achievement here on Wowhead. Similarly, as has been noted in several of the other comments here, no one will successfully complete Uruk! if he or she receives damage while completing the other 2 Deadtalker's Plateau quests. Even if you have received credit for
The Deadtalker's Cipher
and
Spirit Dust
previously, you cannot take damage during those quests and expect to get credit for
Uruk!
even though you may have repaired and take no damage during the encounter with Uruk himself. Again, I've learned that the hard way.
I recruited a friend from my guild to join me in completing these quests. On the first night we worked the achievement we each accepted and worked the following:
突袭铠胄火营
我敌人的敌人……还是我的敌人!
突袭死语者高地
顺藤摸瓜
My friend completed all 4 of the quests above while I hovered in the air on a mount taking no damage. We did not use any of the NPCs who can accompany us. We only turned in at the Shado-Pan Garrison. We repaired before turning in these quests which served as a check to verify that I'd taken no damage. I successfully received credit for all 4 quests.
The mini-boss quest available that night was
成柏!
which we again completed without any NPC as an aid and while I was mounted, in air, taking no damage. Again I checked repairs before turning the quest in and received credit for the quest. That meant I had 5 of the 7 complete.
A few nights later the Blackguard dailies came up again. This time instead of
顺藤摸瓜
we got
灵魂尘
. The same friend and I completed the quests in the same way and I got credit for the 6th of the 7.
乌奴克!
was not only the last quest I needed for the achievement but is both the least often available in my experience (I've received and completed Cheng Bo! 18 times as opposed to 10 times for Uruk!) and the most problematic. The first problem with Uruk! is that it, like Cheng Bo! appears to have an auto-accept feature. If one gets either of these quests in one's log and takes any damage from any source before completing it you will fail the terms of the achievement. If you complete the other quests, get either mini-boss quest and don't complete that day's quest immediately any damage you may incur between accepting the quest and completing it will affect the terms of the achievement. If you are not going to complete the quest immediately and you find it in your log
abandon that quest
! You can accept it again later. I learned that the hard way the first time Uruk! came up.
The next time Uruk! became available I completed the quest with a different friend. We worked the quests just as I had done more than a month before. I did not get credit for completing Uruk! though I verified that I had taken no damage during the quest by checking for repairs. I put in a ticket regarding that issue.
Before I got an answer to the ticket Uruk! came up again on the very next night. This time I completed the quests with the friend who'd accompanied me the first two times I'd attempted to work the achievement. This time he asked me to join him in fighting Uruk in case that was an issue . Once he engaged Uruk I flew down, hit Uruk once with Ice Lance and moved out of range. Once Uruk was dead, we flew back to the Shado-Pan Garrison. I checked that I had taken no damage by verifying that I needed no repairs and once again I did not receive credit for the achievement. I added that information to my ticket.
My ticket was successively answered by several GMs who offered somewhat contradictory explanations as to why I had not received credit for the quest. The bottom line, I discovered by refusing to accept a series of improbable explanations, is that GMs have no access to records that show damage dealt or taken. They, therefore, cannot verify that one has or has not completed the quest under the terms of the achievement. My advice is don't waste your time on a ticket if you're denied the achievement regardless of how fairly and honestly you've met the terms. It simply won't help.
A week went by and finally Uruk! became available again. I found another friend who was willing to help. We each accepted the quests and each got Protector Yi to help us. We went first to Fire Camp Gai-Cho and completed those 2 quests. We then returned to the Garrison, repaired and turned those quests in. We next accepted the Deadtalker's Plateau quests. While I hovered in the air out of range my friend completed
Assault Deadtalker's Plateau
and
Spirit Dust
. I then flew back to the Garrison to turn in the quests despite having Protector Yi with me and to verify that I'd taken no damage. My friend turned his quests in to Protector Yi then accepted and completed
Uruk!
before I'd accepted that final quest. At that point I feared that the whole enterprise had fallen apart but we decided to give it a try. I accepted the quest and met my friend near Uruk. I still had Protector Yi with me. We agreed that I should hit Uruk during the fight. We set the fight up as follows:
Let's say that Uruk is at the 12:00 point of the clock dial. My friend came in range of Uruk at about 8:00. I flew to the opposite side of his knoll and dismounted at about the 4:00 position. Once my friend attacked Uruk and had full aggo, I hit Uruk with an Ice Lance and moved out of range. Protector Yi left me and joined the battle with Uruk.
Once Uruk was dead we all flew back to the Garrison. I checked repair to insure that I'd taken no damage and turned in. I finally got the achievement.
Obtaining any achievement shouldn't be complicated by the fact that there are unstated requirements built into it. If the achievement requires a certain sequence of events or special terms that are not immediately obvious it seems to me that it is only fair and right that those terms be stated explicitly in the achievement pane. If nothing else it will make life easier for the GMs trying to answer ticket after ticket concerning some esoteric, hidden requirement. At best it will make the game experience more pleasant for those of us who seriously work on these achievements.

I didn't see this listed below, but I noticed a bit of a workaround for some of these as a druid. In flight form, you can gather the jars of oil without aggroing mobs. Collect them, fly to the edge of the firecamp until your zone JUST changes to the Battlefield. You can look back over into the fire camp and kill the mobs for "Assault Fire Camp Gai-Chao" with the fire bombs. No risk of damage! You might have to wait for a couple respawns, but it worked like a charm.

I tried doing the trick for the last two bosses, today I had Uruk! and kept the quest with me as (completed) until the next day, but when I came back, there was no quests to be offered to me. I don't know if they fixed it or what, but It is a new day and I should see new dailies. but none of the 3 npcs showed me any of the different set of quests at all.
Was it fixed or do I keep Uruk quest hanging as completed in my log?

I kept the quest Uruk! to do the trick posted above, and people say it still works in 5.4 but for me it isn't, its been hanging in my log as (Completed) and everyday I go back to the camp to see the dailies and what kind of quest-set is for the day, but everytime none of the NPC offered me any daily. apart from that Completed yellow quest mark, there are no dailies, apparentely they fixed it? I don't know, but I can't see any quest-set at all in there, what am I missing?

When I returned I picked up the other 2 available quests and handed in the 2 completed ones and noticed that

I just want to add for those that don't know that you won't get the Blackguard quests everyday. They cycle randomly with the other Shado-Pan daily quest givers.
Yes, that means not only is it random what quests you can get each time from the Master Snowdrift, it's also random whether you will get any at all. Just another way an already difficult skill-based Meta is made infuriating with RNG.

Tips for Priests:
-You do not loose credit for a quest when your Spectral Guise clone gets hit by monsters, so you can use it as a handy "OH &*!@" button should you get cornered by mobs.
-Void Tendrils are also safe to use

As a
Frost Mage
this achievement is really easy.
When I started to get this I was really worried and I follow the trick to do one quest, then accept the other one and get the -no damage debuff- back and handover the first quest.
But in reality it turned out real easy and I did not get any damage:
-Using Ice barrier before engage every mob,
-Put Frost Bomb
-Use Water Elemental Breeze (Nova) that makes me two proc for Ice lance crit,
-Frozen Orb for more than one mob + Ice lance (as with frozen orb the ice lance get crit proc)
For Uruk, I just spam mirror image blink away and TW and nuke him.
For the enemy of my enemy, after I got the bombs I stand on a cliff when no one harm me and bomb them away from distance.

Cheng Bo! is still just as bugged as ever. You must take no damage at all from monsters from the time you start the first daily until you kill Cheng Bo. For example, took 1 tick of earthquake damage, reset the daily, came back and took no damage, yet got no credit.

For those who are doing Uruk! and Cheng Bo! but not getting credit when not taking damage.
Would like to thank Rellos for this massive revelation
I've personally been trying to do these two for months after using the "invisible buff"
(when any of the first four quests are accepted, a buff is applied to you. If you take any damage, you lose the buff. This means you can complete the criteria for a quest, taking damage in the process, return to the quest giver, accept a new quest and hand in the old to satisfy the criteria for the achievement)
thing for the first four quests
Only the quests in the area around Cheng Bo! are required to unlock it and similarly for Uruk!. Only the first 4 quests give the invisible "no dmg" buff, but these final two don't. This was the mistake i made - i would do the first four quests normally, and then ask a mate to come kill Cheng or Uruk for the quest. Doing it this made meant i got no credit for the achievement as these quests don't give the "invisible buff". Heres what you do:
1. Accept and do the two quests for either area and hope that its respective quest unlocks that day. Do not take the other two.
2. Accept final quest
3. Kill Cheng Bo/Uruk
4. Return to Master Snowdrift at the Shado-Pan Garrison and accept whichever 2 quests you didn't take at the start
5. Hand in Cheng Bo/Uruk
6. Bask in your glory

Just got this today after getting the
乌奴克!
quest one other time (before I knew about the achievement). Originally when I'd get the Blackguard Dailies, I'd do 2 of them.
突袭铠胄火营
, and
我敌人的敌人……还是我的敌人!
. After that, the final quest usually popped up, 99% of the time it being
成柏!
. However, when I did that method today, the 5th quest never popped up. It got my hopes up that it would be
乌奴克!
. I was alone so I did each of the remaining quests one at a time in order to keep the hidden buff that is granted when taking the quests.
For me, the final two quests were
突袭死语者高地
and
灵魂尘
which seemed to be a good sign because I hadn't had the former in quite awhile. I took damage during both of them, so I was worried if I did happen the get the final quest I needed to kill Uruk, that the hidden buff wouldn't be applied. Luckily I got the final quest to kill him, but didn't have enough stuns to subdue him until I could DPS him down. I waited above him on my flying mount until he spawned, let someone else attack him, and threw and object at him from a safe distance in order to get credit for the kill and not take any damage. I turned it in and got the achievement.
Overall, I hope this information was helpful if you are: 1. Alone with no friend to help you on the quest, or 2. Aren't able to use the trick of doing 2 quests, forcing the final quest to pop, and then reapply the hidden buff with the remaining 2 quests.
Update
: 11/2/2014 (Next Day): I just got the exact same quest lines for a second day in a row, so it would lead me to believe that these are the quests to be looking for in hopes of getting
乌奴克!
.

I finally found a use for those stupid
机械轰击火箭
and
粒子护盾
that keep piling up from the Blingtron dailies. I've discovered that damage absorbed by the shield doesn't break the buff needed for the achievement. So here's what I did:
1. Accepted the two dailies at Deadtalker's plateau (Assault Deadtalker's plateau and Spirit Dust).
2. Killed the Crusher with a rocket.
3. Pulled the big packs of mobs by using the rocket on the Corpsedefiler , popping the shield, and aoeing the small guys down.
4. Once I had enough dust I just used the rocket on the remaining Corpsedefilers I needed then jumped off a cliff so I wouldn't have to kill the spirits. I used my Engineering tinker
地精滑翔器
but you can also use the
地精滑翔器工具包
from Blingtron or just jump into water to avoid dying.
5. Turned in those quests and picked up the boss quest I needed (Uruk!).
6. Killed uruk with a shield and rocket.
7. Did the other firebarrel quests using the edge technique in other comments.
NOTE: The first hit you do on Uruk doesn't do any damage to him, so hit him with a ranged attack before using your rocket.
Hope this helped.

My method is for those who want to get this achievement alone and without any trouble.
It was figured out and tested by me in 6.0.1, so things might differ now ;)
So, what do we have:
a quest counts to the achiev if it's finished while you have an invisible buff on you
黑衣卫守护
.
you get this buff when you take any of 4 first dailies. You can abandon and take them back again, you'll get the buff every time.
you
do not
get the buff when you take the final daily.
you loose the buff when you get
any kind
of damage. As was stated somewhere in the comments, if a squirrel sneezes on you, you're screwed :)
成柏!
: you get this after execution of 2 quests out of 4 -
突袭铠胄火营
and
我敌人的敌人……还是我的敌人!
, you can ignore the other two.
乌奴克!
: you get this after execution of
突袭死语者高地
and
顺藤摸瓜
.
If one of 4 first quests is
灵魂尘
, than final quest will be
成柏!
, and if there is
顺藤摸瓜
, than final will be
乌奴克!
.
So, with minimum effort, without Shado-Pan companions, without friend's help and without worrying that you got a damage but didn't notice,
getting this achievement is reduced to manipulating with the order of getting and finishing of quests
. And you can get any damage or even die in the process. Only moment of taking and finishing of quests is important.
Algorithm:
Day one
,
灵魂尘
and
成柏!
are available, for example:
take
突袭铠胄火营
and
我敌人的敌人……还是我的敌人!
, execute (but don't finish).
take
灵魂尘
, finish previous two, get
成柏!
.
execute
灵魂尘
and
成柏!
.
take
突袭死语者高地
, finish
灵魂尘
and
成柏!
.
you can abandon
突袭死语者高地
, cause you still need it for day two.
Day two
,
顺藤摸瓜
and
乌奴克!
are available:
take
突袭死语者高地
and
顺藤摸瓜
, execute.
take
突袭铠胄火营
, finish previous two, get
乌奴克!
.
execute
乌奴克!
.
take
我敌人的敌人……还是我的敌人!
, finish
乌奴克!
.
abandon
我敌人的敌人……还是我的敌人!
and
突袭铠胄火营
, cause you still need it for day one.
profit :)
Days can be done in any order. I would recommend to take and finish quest from
雪流大师
himself. And I don't recommend to take Shado-Pan companion, cause you might finish a quest accidentally.
Megnetar - Silvermoon.

A great way to complete this now after Legion is equipping Prydaz. The absorb shield mitigates all damage and worked for me after getting hit many times by mobs. Easy complete :)

I just wanna say that doing this with 1 azerite with Resounding Protection does indeed count as no damage taken at all.

FWIW, whether your last quest is
Cheng Bo!
or
Uruk!
, you won't get the achievement until you
turn it in
, not when you kill Cheng Bo or Uruk, so don't get discouraged if the target dies and the achievement doesn't pop immediately. Go turn it in.
