# She will stack a nature DOT on the MT so tanks must be rotated. The DoT is not resistable, so the MT's should not gimp their Armor/Defense/HP too much to wear NR gear. HP pool is most important. Let the tanks get comfortable with the rotation - 2 or 3 tanks need to rotate due to stacking DoT. After one tank switch, light DPS can be started (but don't over-aggro). Try to keep mana high, ready for an outburst at 30%.
# Huhu is immune to taunt. For this reason, tank rotations can be tricky. Tanks can use invulnerability potions or Blessing of Protection to drop agro.
# Position is very important for the fight. 15 people need high NR because she enrages and spams poison volley at 30%. These 15 "NR soaks" must be close-ish to her. She will chuck poison volleys at them repeatedly. Once one of the 15 soaks dies, people with low NR will start taking massive damage. Therefore it is imperative to keep all 15 soaks alive.
# She has a AoE Wyvern Sting (sleep effect) that will hit the ten closest people. Do not dispel Wyvern Sting (especially on Rogues!) as the dispel causes 3-4k insta-damage. It can be resisted. Wyvern Sting can be removed from the tank that is trying to get aggro. (next in the tank rotation) If the current tank is trying to lose agro, let him sleep.
# Noxious poison deals ~3k DOT and silences the person that is hit directly, but it is also applied to players around the one hit. The DOT is not dispellable and as such is very dangerous. The raid must spread out to avoid getting AoEd by this poison. Huhuran will use this attack throughout the entire fight.
# Hunters must be on the ball with tranquilizing when she is frenzied ("Huhuran goes into a killing frenzy") -- it boosts her melee power a lot. When she is frenzied, hunters have aproxximately 5 secs to tranquilize her before she begins shooting poison volleys randomly at the raid. The frenzy at the 30% is a HARD ENRAGE and cannot be tranquilized. ("Huhuran goes into a berserker rage"). Huhuran will no longer frenzy after 30%. Hunters should then focus DPS and maintaining the Nature Resistance Aura--especially on the Main Tank's group.
# Princess Huhuran's most significant ability is her 30% mode. At this time, the closest 15 people ("NR soaks") will take monumental amounts of nature damage (2,000 damage every 5 seconds) and will require high Nature Resistance. They need as much NR as possible, gimping all other stats. No one else needs nature resistance for this encounter other than those 15 people (ideally rogues and warriors). The Dwarven racial skill Stoneform will make the player immune to Huhuran's poison spit for 8 seconds, while still being counted as one of the 15 soaks. It is recommended that players use this ability after their nature protection potion has expended.
# Warlocks can put on Curse of Doom at 45%. As long as no one knocks CoD off, this will cause Huhuran to take massive amounts of damage right after she hits 30%. All DPSers should use trinkets and cooldowns as soon as she hits 30%, to take her into Execute range ASAP.
# After 5 minutes she will spam poison volley, similar to enraging at 30%. Like Battleguard Sartura, her timered enrage is MUCH more deadly than her lower HP rage and is guaranteed to wipe your raid. However, it is advantageous to have her enrage as late as possible due to mana and agro concerns. Pace your raid. You want to be able to have the mana to burst damage at 30% and be able to AoE Heal your melee parties. AoE healing is dangerous, if the healer is silenced the entire party is doomed and you have a big hole in your meatwall. An alternate strategy is to assign a healer to each person in the meatwall and pray a healer isn't silenced

Hunter specific tips:
- All hunters should be poison-sponges
- So get max 255nr (+ 60nr from aura which equals 315 which is the cap)
- Split up hunters in 2 tranq-shooting teams with at least 2 hunters in each team
- The teams take turns in tranq-shooting as if they were 1 person, this is because the low hit rating we get from wearing nr-gear
- Feign death and drink often so you'll have 100% mana at 30%
- Summon pet (which you have healed up and dismissed before the fight) right before 30%
- When Huhuran enrages send in pet as sponge, priests poh will keep them up easily

People who place 15 and only 15 people in the wall often struggle, By putting an extra 2-3 people in there, if a tank happens to die, a lose poison volley wont leave the "wall group"
So what we do is have 5 priests, in seperate groups, with the other 4 members in each group being in the wall. Hunter pets go in also to eat the Wyren Sting, so thats groups 1-5 all getting AoE heal, 6,7,8 is the mages/warlocks/druids, who heal MT and top up priest AoE healers.
Hope it helps

As a general note mages, should save all their big CDs like trinkets or arcane power untill 30%. Keep in mind that you need to get her to execute % so the warriors that are not afflicted by Sleep can bring her down fast.
All in all a Nature Resistance fight like Vael with FR.

For this fight warlocks should coordinate a cumulative curse of doom at 40%, all locks curse and those whos curses get resisted should take care of CoE and CoS.

General Suggestions
1. We will need 15 players with >200NR unbuffed. The MT's should attempt to reach max NR of 300.
2. DO NOT Dispell this fight. The Wyvern Sting will cause 4K damage if dispelled.
1. Mob Composition
1. Princess Huhuran
2. Mob Characteristics
1.
Wyvern Sting
- A stinging shot that puts the target to sleep for 12 sec.
* Any damage will cancel the effect.
* If the sting is removed it causes 3200-4000 Nature damage.
* Nature damage can be resisted.
2.
Acid Spit
- Inflicts Nature damage to an enemy every 2 sec. for 30 sec
* Deals 219 to 281 nature damage every 2 sec
* Stackable up to 99 times
* Can be resisted.
3.
Noxious Poison
- Damage and Silence Nature effect.
* Deals 750 nature damage every 2 sec for 8 seconds
* Cannot cast spells
4.
Poison Bolt Volley
- Shoots poison at an enemy, inflicting Nature damage, then additional damage every 2 sec. for 10 sec.
* 413 to 587 nature damage inflicted every 2 sec
* Can be resisted.
* Triggered by Frenzy.
5.
Frenzy
* Physical damage dealt is increased by 500.
* Attack speed increased by 50%.
* Poison Bolt Volley every 2 sec. See above
* Can be Tranq Shotted.
6.
Berserking
- Triggered at 30% Health.
* The 15 closest players will be targeted with a NR Poison Volley taking 800-1200 Nature damage
* Can be resisted.
7. Melee Attack
- A Melee attack that does 500-700 damage to a single target.
3. General Strategy
1. Healing Strategy
Healing should be set up similar to a Ebonroc/Broodlord fight for the first phase. Tanks will rotate based on the
number of Acid Spit debuffs they have. After 30% our 3 High NR Priests will move into position with their parties and spam PoH.
* Priests, Paladins, and Druids
Standard raid healing with emphasis on melee first. Rogues must survive until the 30% call.
* Cleansers
None
2. Combat Strategy
* Party Composition
Healing, Tanking, Melee DPS, and Mages should be evenly divided between the Odd and Even Raid parties. Hunters should be spread through the parties as much as possible for AotW. Three groups will be designated HIGH NR groups and will move into position at the 32% Call.
* Postioning
Huhuran Tanking Position
- The Princess will be tanked in the middle of the room.
- The raid will spread out as much as possible in a half circle around her.
- Melee will will engage in the middle with the MT

The Acid Spit is definately resistable. I was MT on this back in the day and on some kills we could get to 30% using only one tank switch when we got lucky on acid spit resists. Otherwise we'd simply switch around 6 stacks or so (or whenever the OT managed to pull aggro).
That being said the fight did get easier by not equipping NR gear on the tanks since it allowed the tanks to do more threat (tier 2 vs level 45 greens) and thus the raid to do more dps and thus the fight was over more quickly.

your resists max at 300, at 300 your at 75% resits, no matter how far over u go there is no change os once you hit 299-310ish you can stop gimping gear and put some better gear back on, and there is a mod to tell you your resists as a % and some other cool thingys

it does not mean it is a 63 and mean 64 elite or more because in a raid they will not making something red or u would miss it to much

To avoid "happy time" pets are pritty userfull and all kinds of tinkrets, like that one from Scholo which summons 3 guys who cleans a house for you^^=)

Got huhu to 4% five times in a row last night but since our team has only been in BWL for 3 weeks (and faming nef for two) and aq40 for two (2 clears to huhu).
We find ourselves rather undergeared for the encounter despite having 250NR unbuffed on all mellee and 200NR unbuffed on all ranged.
We tried a full NR approach, buffer group approach with eveyone else in regular gear, mid range buffer group replacement people in NR etc, heavy hitting ranged far off in pure dps gear. All same result... 4-5%. Either we kept losing MT/OT who were struggling to find a balance between NR and Def gear as well since healers were spread thin keeping buffer group up, o buffer group would break and chain reaction of ever inceasing dmg poison volleys would go off. Pets no longer count as a part of the 15 players so forget turtles and felhunters.
After 8 wipes back to back last night, going to ez-mode huhu with flasks of pertrification for the next 2 weeks while we gear up to take on the encounter without. We get about 1-2 epics on average per player in guild per week and hoping that this will be just enough to tip the scales, esp since aq40 seems to drop some nice epic NR thus so far.
People who feel that this is cheap should also consider that we are taking all melle out of the dmg equation in that last phase, and farming other instances hard to afford this approach. When you are moving faster than you are able to gear up, you need to turn to the other tools provided by blizzard to pull fights off. Unless we down her... we have nothing to do for 3 days since we clear everything else but naxx in 4.
Besides Zanza buffs with 100% first wave and 3% thereafter reflect which do dmg to boss, not sure how else to take this on undergeared. Buffer group also took a Greater NR pot before fight and another at 29%... same result every time.
This fight is hard, pure and simple and a raid group with only 10% BWL gear can find themselves seriously stunted, no matter how talented. We killed Nefarian in our first week of entering BWL with only one person having ever gone past vael. Huhu is a gear roadblock... and not NR. Ours is up to par but blues and greens don't cut it. Welcome to aq40... princess is fiesty.

But we have had lots of hard goes at it and have managed to get her down to 14%.

She's mean, i mean it's easymode to get to her to 30%, no prob, but after that for us, she just demolishes everything despite many people with over 150 NR (excluding healers but that's what we got tanks/dps and others with over that much NR for).
I'm almost afraid to try viscidius in the future since that fool requires more NR than huhu too. But he should be fun, I hear shamans have some sort of entertaining role there(i got no clue as to what) but I can't wait in anticipation for it.
Currently best we got her is to around 15%. Best horde try in my server and 2nd best in server since only 1 guild has beaten her so far :(
And she's dead, dropped wasphide gaunts and the default drop for both bindings.

Groups 1-4 will be the wall.
1 hunter, 2-3 warriors/rogues, 1 priest
The priests in groups 1-4 are there to PoH to keep the entire wall up.
Extra priests and pallies/druids are divided between keeping the tanks up, and spot healing the raid.
There will be one druid in groups 5-8, assigned to innervate the priest in groups 1-4 at 35%
Group 1 is the MT group, there will also be a Warlock in the group with us to give us an imp buff.
This gives us a wall of 6 warriors, 4 hunters, 5 rogues most nights. If we have 6 rogues in the raid, and we don't have a 5th hunter, the rogue with the best NR gets no Aura. If we have an extra hunter and rogue, they go together in group 7 with a 5th priest assigned to keep them up.
We'll have SS's on the rogues. You can't recover from a Huhu wipe, we'll have to run back anyways, so SS's on the priests/pallies aren't gonna help much.
Setup:
there's a pool in the center of her room, surrounding this pool are 6 peninsula's.
Groups 1 + 5 will be in the SE of Huhu
Groups 2 + 6 will be in the SW of Huhu
Groups 3 + 7 will be NW of Huhu
Groups 4+ 8 will be NE of Huhu
Positioning is extremely important on this fight. The three melee in each group will be at the front corner of their group. The three tanks will spread out a little bit, but there's no cleave involved, so they can clump a bit as well.
The hunter assigned to keeping wild up will sit at minimum ranged distance.
The priest stands behind the hunter to make sure their melee group is in range for PoH.
The secondary groups will spread out behind the group in front of them.
Healers do need to be spread out on this fight, she has a targetable AOE silence effect, if healers clump, and she silences the clump, we're in a world of pain.
Stage 1:
Simple DPS. The tanks need to rotate because she has a stacking debuff. when the current tank has three debuffs, he will stop attacking, and the other two tanks will work to pull aggro off of him.
If a tank stacks to 5 debuffs, an assigned paladin will BoP him to force the transition.
When the pally does this, he has to be sure to rebuff the original buff back on warriors. For this reason, the pally assigned to wisdom and the pally assigned to salvation will be the first two to do this if needed, since they don't need to rebuff the tanks.
Huhu also has a stinger that sleeps multiple targets - THIS CANNOT BE CLEANSED OFF THE MT. When it is cleansed, it does approx 1.5 k damage to the person it is being cleansed off of. The tank that has aggro will simple escape out of attacking at this point. Cleanse the other two tanks so they can begin building aggro again, and hopefully get above the current tank more easily.
Tanks pass aggro back and forth, slow steady DPS to 35% percent.
Huhu goes into stage 2 at 30%, we need to make a few preparations quickly for the conversion at the 35% mark.
All dot's off.
Druids will innervate their assigned PoH priest.
The tank who is bringing fankriss home has to be clear of debuffs when we hit this mark, and then has to have aggro on himself at the 30% mark. Paladins should be ready to BoP to force the transition here again.
Mages use your evocation here if nessecary.
At 30% - Huhu enrages and we enter stage 2.
Stage 2 -
Enraged Huhu hits like a mack truck, and drastically increases the rate of her AOE poison spit. The 15 people closest to her will be taking a barrage of nature damage. Additionally, the MT will be getting hit by said Mack Truck.
The tank will hit shield wall immediately when fankriss enrages.
Priests in the wall groups will spam PoH to counteract the AOE spit. This is a good point to use prayer beads or ZHC if you have it.
All hunter and warlock pets go in. (no, the pets can not absorb the aoe spit, but they will add to the burst)
We need to save all burst DPS for this moment, at 30% it becomes a race between the healers mana and the DPS's burst. Hunters, mages, warlocks and rogues need to push it as hard as you can and burn every cool down you've got.
All dot's back up.
The wall is going to start going down. Rogues have soulstones to pop back up again, Druids should be ready to battlerez quickly, pallies should be ready to shield and run in to join the wall if needed.
If huhu's spit gets beyond the wall, the first ones to go will be the PoH priests.... pallies, it's your job to save them by running in.
Push the DPS, Don't stop or let up for one second.
Huhu is often a heartbreaking fight when your learning it, because the most often cause for wiping is the enrage. We should get her to 30% first go without a problem, it's how quickly we DPS her down and how ready we are when she gets there that really matters.
Collect fat loots, move on to the twin emporers.

She's been my guild's cockblock for a long time. We dont have Four Dragons NR loot as we are not HC raiding guild and they dont want to spawn when we have ppl online. So we basically had what we got in AQ40: Sekram - Fankriss loot.
Anyway. Group setup:
Meatshield: G1-G5
G1: Warrior, Warrior, Warlock, Hunter, Priest
G2: Warrior, Warrior, Warlock, Hunter, Priest
G3: Warrior, Rogue, Rogue, Hunter, Priest
G4: Rogue, Rogue, Rogue, Hunter, Priest
G5: Rogue, Rogue, Hunter, Hunter, Priest
Rest: G6-G8
Paladins, Druids, remaining Priests, Mages.
Phase 1:
Tanks rotate tanking. Either through natural switching or through BoPs. Current tank stops attacking after 2nd debuff and if aggro doesnt transfer by itself till 4th/5th - call for BoP.
Priests in G1-G5 can heal but at transition to phase 2 have to have AT LEAST 80% mana and no Cooldown on Mana pot.
Healers in G6-G8 are on FFA healing. One Priest/Druid is assigned for each tank to top his HP and put HoTs on him at Phase 1 --> Phase 2 transition.
One two Paladins are assigned for dispelling Sleep from TANKS only.
Now, the fun part. At around 32-33% Tanks take Greater NR Prot potion. If they get sleeped on transition - DISPEL THEM ASAP so they can pop SW.
Rest of the Meatshield takes NR Pot once Berserk starts and they take some damage.
Priests in G1-G5 start spammin PoH - start casting it at 31% and cancel if no CTRA *BERSERK* was announced - repeat and launch first PoH when it starts.
I reccomend Titans/Zanza/Food on Tanks. Meathsield should do with Zanza or Food/BL/DiM Drink stamina buffs only.
When meatshield starts dying Paladins run in and bubble. Dorf paladins Stoneform as soon as Bubble is over.

List of Nature Resist Pieces NOT Coming with Phase 5
Posted by Anshlun | Wowhead | 2020-06-29
Blizzard has released a list of Nature Resist pieces that ARE NOT coming with Phase 5 and the Ahn'Qiraj War Effort.
These pieces were introduced in Naxx to help guilds clear AQ40, so they don't have a place in P5 at the start.
Blizzard is evaluating when to add them.
.
SERIOUSLY THOUGH, SOME CLARITY ABOUT CC NR CRAFTABLES
Posted by Kaivax | Community Manager | Blizzard Forums | 2020-06-30
"Khlause: Some of the gear was intended for AQ, while other items may have been back burner or may have been a form of catch up gear."
"Overall, the nature-resist gear that was released in original WoW in patch 1.11 was catch-up gear.
It was released along with
纳克萨玛斯
to help close the gap for guilds who were still dealing with trying to get certain pieces from Green Dragons and
玛拉顿
because they were stuck on
哈霍兰公主
.
To be specific, here’s a list of pieces that are not in WoW Classic 1.13.5:
锻造
铁藤胸甲
铁藤手套
铁藤腰带
制皮
荆木头盔
荆木腰带
荆木长靴
裁缝
林栖者头冠
林栖者护肩
林栖者外套
盖亚的拥抱
Quest reward:
塞纳留斯指环
谦卑的馈赠
Quest reward:
野性戒卫
野性戒卫 - 专注秘药
野性戒卫 - 急速秘药
野性戒卫 - 防护秘药
We’re still considering precisely when to release this gear, given their usefulness and purpose. As with original WoW, that time will come later, after AQ is opened and being raided."
