You will battle his level 25 companions-
Grizzle
(model like Baby Blizzard Bear),
Bloom
(model like Ammen Vale Lashling) and
Beakmaster X-225
(model like Mechanopeep). They are beast, elemental and mechanical types.
My team List – Mechanical, Aquatic, Elemental
Grizzle
– Beast – Use Mechanical moves
Bloom
– Elemental – Use Aquatic moves
Beakmaster X-225
– Mechanical – Use Elemental moves

First Trainer my randomly made team has had trouble with. It looks like from here on out you may need to actually prepare the right set if 25s for the trainers. Or have gotten lucky with whatever 3 you picked.

Major Payne...In the backside.

Robot and flower are pretty easy to defeat. The real challenge here is the bear pet. It uses a powerful melee attack, a stun (for 1 turn) and hibernation - this particular combination of abilities is not available to players (stun and hibernation are normally on the same tier, so you can only have one of those, but not both at the same time).
So far I was unable to find a pet that can counter this monster – this bear simply does too much damage to handle the remaining pets, even if you do kill it. Let me know if you will have better luck.

Used a Celestial Dragon(heal and breath) on the bear, a Nether Ray Fry(lash) on the mechanopeep and a Emerald Turtle(grasp and heal) on the bloom!

Major Payne is pretty brutal. I managed to squeak out a win with a level 25 team of Guardian Cub (whose Reckless Strike ability was great for repeatedly slamming a sleeping bear), Small Frog (who took turns turning the enemy's mechanical and the flower into frogs), and Celestial Dragon. The Guardian Cub was the perfect match for Payne's nasty bear, as he takes lower Beast damage, and the aforementioned Reckless Strike did well in punching through the bear's hibernation phase.
I've noticed with these continent final pet trainers (this guy and the last trainer in Cataclysm), my trusty Clockwork Rocket Bot did not get revived after the first death, while Major Payne's mechanical did. Was a little frustrating, but the above team did very well. It's kind of ridiculous how handy that little frog is to my team.

By far the hardest pet tamer for me out of all of them - by FAR.
I even used level 25 pets who counters his pets and I just barely managed to defeat him after about 3 hours of trying.
Grunty against his bear made the bear very easy, bear would get in about 3 attacks and die during hibernate. Depending on luck Grunty would get in one hit on the mechanopeep or die before that, then I had my rare quality Minfernal take care of it. Minfernal usually died right before the mechanopeep, but on my successful try I had a couple lucky dodges and managed to get the mechanopeep down and get a hit on the plant before Minfernal died. I then used my rare quality Sea Gull to take care of the plant. I had to use something that could dodge at least one of the root damage turns.
Took the plant down with about 200 hp left on my Sea Gull.
I then steamrolled the rest of the trainers pretty much all the way.
Edit: Almost one year later, and about 50 more pets at level 25, I can say that this fight has become a tad bit easier :P
Darkmoon Tonk takes care of the bear
Pandaren Fire Spirit will melt mechanopeep
And any sort of dancer or water skimmer will make quick work of the elemental. I used a Dancing Water Skimmer.

I got lucky and beat him after about 10 tries. I used a Lil Tarecgosa (25), Father Winter's Helper (25), and I also roll a Ghostly Skull (23) that actually never even went into combat. I basically caught him with a good orb while hibernating so he swapped out for the peep which my Father Winter's Helper made very quick work of. When he brought Grizzle back I still had my Father's Winter Helper out, killed Grizzle and was able to go a round or two on Bloom before my FWH died. I then swapped for Lil Tarecgosa, hit the lashling a couple times with her then popped her nuke and it was all over.

I got lucky and beat him the first time. Thinking it was a fluke, I challenged him again because the blue daily quest came up and I was able to beat him again.
For Grizzle I used "
Lil Deathwing
" - I used Elementium bolt first, then call darkness and then shadowflame.
For Beakmaster X25 and Bloom I switched back and forth between "
Frosty
" (using Ice Tomb, Call Blizzard and Diseased Bite) and "
Corehound Pup
" (using Burn, Howl and Scratch).
I ended up losing my Core Hound Pup and Frosty, but Lil' Deathwing stood up to Grizzle.
I realize these are special pets (Lil Deathwing was Cataclysm Collector's Edition pet, Frosty was Wrath of the Lich King Collector's Edition pet and Core Hound Pup was WoW Authenticator purchase pet), but if you have them, it's worth it to level them all to 25 to use in these battles.

I beat him with level 25 Clockwork Gnome (railgun rather than metal fist so he can help with the Mechanopeep), level 23 Phoenix Hatchling, and level 23 Rapana Whelk (any snail should do). Snails versus the elemental will take weak damage and deal strong damage on Dive, and the phoenix elemental deals strong damage to the mechanopeep while taking weak damage and healing on CD. When fighting hard battles, the trick is to find a pet their attacks are weak against /and/ whose own attacks are strong, not just one or the other.

Finally got him with this setup:
Personal World Destroyer
(mechanical, 25)
Highlands Skunk
(critter, 25)
Water Waveling
(elemental, 25)
Grizzle got owned 100-0 by World Destroyer, however I did get lucky since for some reason the bear didn't stun my pet once of which I was really surprised since on the earlier attemps the opener had ALWAYS been the stun.
Likewise, Water Waveling ripped quite few new holes to Beakmaster with ease.
Skunk wasn't the best choice again Bloom even though Bloom did reduced damage against my skunk. I went in defensive tactic with two heals . My pet got outhealed a bit and finally killed when Bloom had 200ish HP left but Water Waveling snuffed him out like a champ and brought me the long desired victory.

Oh god, this guy was aptly named.
2/3 of the right type didn't do it. I had to level all 3, and it still took me a couple of goes. On the brightside, although he annihilated me once or twice, it is worth perservering - you need to be lucky with your dodges, as well as making the right (or lucky) combat choices.
If it helps, the pets I finally whupped his ass with were Robo-chick, Crimson Scale Hatchling and Yellow-Bellied Bullfrog. They were two uncommons and a rare, so maybe 3 rares would not have had such trouble.
Good luck battlers, particularly with that £*"^ing bear, and don't be disheartened by a complete wipe at first.

The most important thing to keep in mind in picking a team to win against Major Payne is that you need a pet that can quickly defeat Grizzle.
I used the following, rather unorthodox level 25 team:
Fox Kit
Sprite Darter
Hopling
The Fox Kit is an extremely bursty pet. Howl gives double damage for 2 rounds. I was able to to kill Grizzle in 3 rounds sometimes (attacking first), which is usually before he does any healing. If you start getting into the dynamic where you have to outdps his healing, you have a problem. If you can get Grizzle down quickly you can beat the other two pets pretty easily.
Once he was down I was able to use the Spirte Darter with Moon fire up to then increase the healing the Hopling does and then outlast the other pets, using the dragonling to blow up the elemental and the Hopling the mechanical.
As others have said after beating him it was cruise control to the Tamer title.

I don't know how anyone thinks the bear is the hardest as I've beat him pretty easily every time, in fact the feline familiar owns him, but the mech one is a nightmare. It can do 1.2k damge with just one attack and usually does 3 attacks that can do from 3-700 damage and also comes back to life, its a nightmare and has wiped out my team on its own whilst i've easily beat the other two. Its a real pain allright this one

major appropriately named but imo needs a nerf. if this was PVP or PVE players would be crying foul. when your 1-3 or key attacks are dodged/missed, along with his pets having combos that blizz wouldn't even give players...all around hack
- bear, is seriously OP even when faced with the appropriate pet. way too much HP, too much damage against pets he should have against, too much healing. he stuns my mech on open, i have to pass, he attacks 370-400+ hp gone, i attack with a stun/dmg attack, he dodges stun/takes damage, he attacks 370-400+ hp gone, i wipe the bear, problem is my mechanical pet is at 400-500 hp
- beakmaster, comes in then using batter/all attacks land sometimes followed by a shock and awe...wiping you. yes he gets 2 attacks to your 1 many times. he also dodges your multiple attack spells to the point where 1 of 3 land. he does a wind-up and is able to dodge my 1000hp attack, and i'm wiped on his 1200hp attack. the way he follows up and finishes my first pet (mech) he then smokes the critter i roll up first. 2 free first attacks, skip a turn for windup and then critter is dead, or on rare occasions i killed him, on the re-res, he comes out wipes my pet, then on my 3rd pet, once again 1-2 free openers wipes 70% of last pet's HP, lasher opens 1-2 first moves...lost
- lasher imo is much like beakmaster, seems he is always or at random getting 2 for 1 attacks in too.
i have beaten him once, must have got lucky. i have unlocked northrend and i now skip him on dailies. even with correct pets and unorthodox combos it can take 15-20+ times to beat him. not worth the aggravation
have all families of 25's, multiples of some

Grizzle (Beast) - Clockwork Gnome (Level 25 Mechanical) Metal Fist, Repair, Build Turret
Beakmaster X225 (Mechanical) - Terrible Turnip (Level 24 Elemental) Weakening, Leech Seed, Sons of the Root
Bloom (Elemental) - Mountain Skunk (Level 25 Critter) Scratch, Perk Up, Bleat
Just keep trying out different pets and combinations, hard but possible.

Tried this with several combos that did not work, but finally beat him with a level 22 Fel Flame (for the Mechanopeep), a level 25 arctic fox kit (for the bear), and a level 24 black rat (for the lasher). It was a very, very close call though and wound up having the fox and rat die while the fel flame barely finished off the lasher with less than 100 hp.
The advice listed by dangerfox is what you need to pay attention to here - to win this fight, you need an elemental pet, a pet with high burst dps, and an aquatic pet.

Yes, the bear is a monster... but, if you do have a mechanical pet, of any sort, he becomes MUCH easier...
I used a level 23 (rare) Robo-Chick and could take down the bear. However, I had trouble with the other pets on that try...
The lesson is yes, you do need pets that are suited to his pets (especially the bear).
I finally beat him today with a level 25 Robo-Chick, a level 23 Terrible Turnip, and a level 25 Celestial Dragon.
Good luck peeps

Best bet, once you've gotten an optimised team assembled, is to keep 'chickening out' until the Mechanopeep spawns first. Grizzle is the toughy, for sure, but you don't want to start off with him for two reasons:
1. The Mechanopeep can, depending on luck/crits, one-shot any level 25 pet. There is no skilling around that, and if you're going to be defeated based on the luck of a single attack, better to find out early so you can quit, recover and try again, than have it happen when you've spent time milling through the rest.
2. Grizzle loves to open with a stun, leaving him get a free attack in before you can start whittling him down. If you start with an opponent other than him, then when he moves in, you can sacrifice the pet chosen for the Mechanopeep, then move in your prime beast-killer.
It's a tough fight, even with level-capped optimal pet teams. Unless you're severely desperate for pet supply bags, once he's finally done, just cross him off your dailies list and pretend like it never happened.

I beat him with a guardian cub for the bear, a panther cub for the mechanical bird, and I used a rare Spirebound Crab to beat the flower. Actually, the panther cub didn't kill the bird, but it did do most of the work. For how to make the Guardian Cub work against the bear, use Onyx Bite and when the bear goes to sleep, Reckless Strike. I read how to use Guardian Cub against the bear here, but it bears repeating. Good luck everyone! Oh, and I got him pretty quickly, like my third try, with this combo of 25s, so if you have this combo and it isn't working in ten tries or so, something is wrong or you're having exceptionally bad luck. =P

After switching pets around quite a bit, I was finally able to beat this guy (twice in a row!) with a level 25 team consisting of
- Gregarious Grell (his elemental skills come handy for the Beakmaster, while the self healing is very helpful overall),
- Tranquil Mechanical Yeti (Supercharge + Metal Fist is awesome against Grizzle - Supercharge + Call Blizzard did miracles against Bloom),
- Spirit of Competition (not really obligatory, I just really like having as many self-healing pets as possible, and Tail Sweep is very useful against things that are faster, as is the case with Bloom).

*Edit*
This guy was tough.. After many attempts and many different pets used, I was finally able to take him down.
I thought I would share for those who are having the same troubles as I was.
You don't need max level pets to defeat this trainer, as long as you have the right types.
Aquatic is good to have to take down his elemental. Just to name a few:
The Eternal Strider
(any water strider pet),
Fishy
, and
Sea Pony
are all great for taking down any tough elemental.
A mechanical is great for taking down his bear. The bear hibernates and regenerates all of it's health, so it's nice to have something that is strong against beasts. Something that can nuke him fast works just as well, like the
Fel Flame
or
Lil' Ragnaros
.
Last but not least, his mechanical pet. It hits pretty hard and comes back to life (all mechanicals do), but nuke it fast with an elemental and you will be fine.

I beat this guy with a 25 Sand Kitten, 25 Nether Faerie Dragon, and a 24 Fel Flame. I did have the elemental advantage which was entirely necessary to get rid of that mechanopeep, but it is possible to beat this guy without a 100% optimal team.
I used the speed of my Sand Kitten to wreck the bear cub. The fel flame is a strong elemental period, so the mechanopeep is no trouble. The lashling isn't too scary so I just hit him for more than he hit me.
It took me ~6 tried to figure it out, then after I beat him for the quest, I beat him for the daily even easier than the first time.
I guess what I'm saying is, don't level a bunch of pets from level 1 just to beat him. You might be able to do it with the team you have. You just need to understand the power that's insiiiiiide.

Managed to kill him using Lil Deathwing, Lil Ragnaros, and Pandaren Monk.
I forfeited the battle until I got the Mechanobird first, in which case Ragnaros tore him apart (minus 33% damage taken from mechanical) and Flamethrower + Conflag tore him a new one.
The bear was next, I dropped down another Flamethrower, and for that the bear killed him wih 2 hits from Ravage, so Lil' Deathwing was next. Threw an ele bolt into the air, the last Ravage went off, and then I used Tail Sweep for ~500 damage a hit (due to slower speed) throughout his Hibernate. Bolt + Tail Sweep outdamaged his heal, so then he was dead.
On comes the plant.. I just threw everything I had left at him (swapped out DW for Monk, after throwing another bolt into the air) Did Focus Chi, and immediately after that the bolt landed, so I hit him with 1k fists, which stunned him again, then I used Takedown for another ~500 damage, and the plant was gone.
All in all.. luck definitely comes into play :\

He was really a "payne" in the ass for me. It took me about an hour in all, to reverse the pain to him.
My setup were:
Level 25 Giant Sewer Rat (Rare)
Level 25 Kirin Tor Familiar (Rare)
Level 25 Toothy (Rare)
I used the Kirin Tor Familiar against the Grizzle and tried to damage it as much before i died. Then Toothy would take over and finish him off. Then used Toothy against Beakmaster X-225 and nearly got it killed until my Giant Sewer Rat took over and finished the job. With close to 50% health i engaged Bloom, and since all of Bloom's attacks (except the entangling roots( were weak against me, i could damage him down with Comeback (which does more damage when you have lower health than your enemy). When he tried to kill me with the entangling roots i used Endure to survive with 1 health and got him down with a mix between Poison Fang (which leaves a poison) and Comeback. It took a long time, but was worth it in the end. I tried over 10 different strategies and found this one the most usefull.

Argent Crusader's Tabard
- Highly recommended for anyone doing battle pet dailies. What you're going to want to do is use this teleport
after
fighting the Uldum trainer, because you can just take the Orgrimmar portal to Uldum but there's no easy way back. I just saved you a hearth and probably cut 10-15 minutes off your total travel time for pet supplies.
You're welcome. Now he's not such a Payne to get to. Just do the dailies to get this, and the teleport has other conveniences associated with pokemon as well; for instance, you're teleported right next to Storm Peaks, so no reason not to peek over and look if it's snowing for
Arctic Fox Kit
.
Now if I could just buy an item with Champion Seals to get him to shut up.
As an afterthought, if you're doing the Tournament dailies (and so long as your server isn't dead like mine is) you can pick up the Argent Tournament pokemon for only 40 seals apiece, battlestone them with the battlestones you don't want from your sacks of supplies (Well who uses Critter? I do, but only because I'm in love with the Rat/Mouse model and I needed a rare Whiskers.) and sell them on the Auction House for big profit.
As far as I can see, the Tournament pokemon are perfect fits for the garbage of family-specific Stones. You've got:
Undead -
Sen'Jin Fetish
(yeah I toss my Undead stones)
Two popular Critters -
Mulgore hatchling
and
Elwyn Lamb
A Mechanical -
Mechanopeep
And a unique Magic -
Broom
(note that the Shimmering Wyrmling is already rare)
So these dailies are the perfect complement to Payne anyway.

昆莱小雪人
猫
锦绣阔步者
And one-shot this guy. (I did engage him once prior to fighting to see what his pets were, but I forfeited before doing any fighting)
Runt was dead, Cat had 1121/1237, and Strider had 702/1400 left after the battle. MUCH easier than
奥克鲁特·荒龙
imo.
Used Pounce, Rake, and Devour on Cat; Water Jet, Cleansing Rain, Pump on Strider; Thrash, Frost Shock, and Deep Freeze on Runt.

"Hey, who would you say is the most annoying pet trainer?"
"Major Payne."
"I'm sure he is. Now give me a name."
I've settled on an elemental with Burn, Immolate and Conflagrate for Beakmaster, starting with Immolate. Burn would follow until Beakmaster could be taken out in one strike by Conflagrate. The idea would be to kill it on the first hit, activate its failsafe, and then have the second hit of Conflagrate kill it before it gets another attack in.
Despite the fact that there are better pets to counter Grizzle, my lack of mechanical pets continues to be... disturbing. I decided on a Nether Faerie Dragon with Slicing Wind, Life Exchange, and Cyclone. Moonfire tends to be out of the question here due to the healing increase. I continue to use my elemental on Grizzle until it dies because switching out now might get Grizzle an early hit and you might even be able to immolate him. Once the Faerie Dragon is out, I attack until Grizzle Hibernates. A well timed Life Exchange (meaning not on the first tick of Hibernate) can take a large chunk out of Grizzle if your health is low enough. If it's not worth it, I would switch out to the Water Waveling used for Bloom and quickly throw in a geyser.
It comes down to another choice: Risk the waveling, use its root, and hit Grizzle with Geyser and kill it, or switch back, let Geyser hit, and force Bloom out. If I go with option 2, Grizzle will probably hibernate the first chance he gets (no promises) so even if the Faerie Dragon dies while facing Bloom, the Waveling can finish it off with Water Jet and do the same to Grizzle.
Keep in mind that Hibernate's heal does not take place until after the end of the round so if you are attacking second, Grizzle will use Hibernate, you will attack, then Grizzle will heal.
Edit: With 5.2, it seems that NPCs will always send out the same first pet every time. In this case, Payne uses Grizzle first. The faerie dragon can work out here, but anything with a healing reduction spell (like Darkflame) can work as well. Beakmaster and Bloom can be taken out in the same way as described above without all of the weird stun-related switching.

Then I switched to my mechanical pet (a
Fluxfire Feline
) and destroyed him.
The feline also destroyed the Beastmaster by using the full force of
Wind-up
and
Supercharge
(dealing 1804 damage in one hit!)
When the flower came up I damaged him as much as possible with my feline before dying, and then recasting Darkness with my raven. Killed the flower with my raven still at half health.
The reason I used my raven for a fair portion of his hits was to wait for hibernate, so that my Feline could charge up his attacks without taking damage. By doing this, it made it easier to attack Beastmaster, which was the strategy.
I didn't even need my third pet, so honestly, I highly recommend using the Fluxfire Feline, or a mechanical pet with high dps, alongside a pet with the call Darkness spell to limit healing from his team.
My feline was an upgraded rare, but I honestly think even a common will be amazing against this team.
Good luck to everyone that's having trouble.
(By the way, the Felines are found in the gnome starting area, in case you want one)
(Edit: Tried to add links, kind of new to posting so sorry if it's weird XP)

This is a pet tamer that a lot of people have trouble with, and I've gotten good responses on my
Pandaren Spirit Tamer
and
Aki
strats, so hopefully I can help those of you trying to take down this jerk. Keep in mind that
level 25 pets aren't required
, and although "Grizzle - Mechanical, Beakmaster - Elemental, Bloom - Aquatic" is a great cliffnotes version, I'm going to help explain the fights so you know
why
those are the best, and what else can be used if you don't yet have them. You aren't going to get much out of a daily if you beat it based on luck, and my goal is for this fight to become routine for you. Once you beat Payne, every other tamer in the game seems easier by comparison.
The pets don't always appear in the order listed, but you can run from the fight and go back again or switch your own order of pets if you'd like more choice in your set up. Eventually you'll get a line-up you're more comfortable with.
Grizzle,
Beast
-
Bash
,
Hibernate
,
Rampage
1806 HP, 276 Speed, 276 Attack
For Grizzle, the most difficult pet of Major Payne,
damage is going to be more important than defense
. And don't get me wrong - he hits like a truck, and he starts off the match by stunning you. The defensive choice would be a Flying pet, due to the onslaught of Rampage being less effective against Flyers. However, Hibernate's incremental heals are a huge barrier we're going to have to deal with, so instead,
we should choose a Mechanical pet and burn him down
. Because Mechanicals hit Beasts very hard and hacking through Hibernate is the most difficult task you'll have here, I'd absolutely recommend them over any other choice.
Alternatively,
we could pick a Flying pet with the
Lift-Off
nuke
; Flying pets get first turn status due to their speed, so you can use Lift-Off at the beginning of the match to avoid the Bash stun, and try your hardest to DPS through hibernate. But whomever you utilize, just don't use Humanoid abilities against this guy, and don't send out critters. Once Grizzle's down, take a deep breath of relief and trudge on, soldier. (Of note, when I initially beat him, I used a
Dragonkin with a self-heal and nuke
.)
Typical attack script pattern:
Bash, Rampage (1), Rampage (2), Rampage (3), Hibernate (1), Hibernate (2), Hibernate (3)
Beakmaster X-225,
Mechanical
-
Batter
,
Shock and Awe
,
Wind-Up
1481 HP, 305 Speed, 305 Attack
For Beakmaster, there are no tricks here - this guy is a straight-up Mechanical. That means all of his moves hit hard against Beasts and he's resistant to Magic abilities, but he's weak in every way against Elementals.
Field an Elemental and you'll take him down quickly.
The more difficult move to deal with here is Shock and Awe, which the tooltip says only has a 25% chance to stun you, but it seems to stun more often than not. (This will become surprisingly consistent once you reach the legendary-level pets.)
Although Elemental is the absolute best type to use against Beakmaster, you don't have to freak out if you don't have one. Instead,
pick the highest level pet you own that has a set of Elemental abilities
(as long as that pet that isn't a Beast), like
Mr Chilly
,
Father Winter's Helper
, or
Lil' KT
(it also helps quite a bit if this non-Elemental pet is 25). Beakmaster will be doling out more damage against these pets, but you'll take him down with HP to spare. Be warned though - he's a Mechanical, meaning
he will ressurect after dying
with 20% health. Use your hardest hitting move and hope it's enough to floor him before you die!
Typical attack script pattern:
Shock and Awe, Wind Up (damage increase), Batter, Wind Up (attack), Batter
Bloom,
Elemental
-
Entangling Roots
,
Lash
,
Soothing Mists
1672 HP, 305 Speed, 276 Attack
For Bloom, I'd like to introduce you folks to what's going to become one of your favorite pet types:
Rapana Whelk
and the Snail family (a great band name as well, for any of our Wowhead musicians).
Rapana Whelk is the favorite here
because he's one of the faster Snails, and he's caught in the Dread Wastes at level 24 - once caught, he goes down to level 22, a mere 3 levels from the max. Most Snails share the same abilities, and because of that fact, they're the best Elemental killers in the game -
Shell Shield
provides a decent defense bonus,
Acidic Goo
increases damage done, and
Dive
is a powerful anti-Ele nuke.
And the most important aspect of these adorable little balls of snot - these are Critters, not Aquatic.
All Elemental moves are weak against Critters.
You'll find catching a rare Rapana Whelk a very worthy time investment, especially when it comes time to fight the Spirit Tamers.
Alternatively, you can use any Aquatic-type with Aquatic abilities against Bloom, such as a
frog
or
waterbugs
. Bloom is definitely the easiest of Payne's pets; after he's down for the count, collect your prize, and get ready for the Cataclysm trainers!
Typical attack script pattern:
Entangling Roots, Soothing Mists, Lash, Lash

Flowing Pandaren Spirit
Thundering Pandaren Spirit

These grand master tamers you really need to have balanced teams to fight. Any kind of novelty teams like all raptors, dragons, etc have utterly no chance in hell of beating guys like this. Just another way Blizzard sucks the fun out of everything.

Finally beat this guy after leveling two pets to help.
You need a healing mechanical, such as
Landro's Lil XT
with rotation timed rotation. Managed to beat him with about 300 health. Used the bomb first, then set a heal since the bear's attack speed is higher than this pet's. Blue quality.
Try a strong elemental like
Fel Flame
trapped in Shadowmoon Valley. It had 100-200 health left after the Mechanical opponent. Mine was green quality.
Finally I used a crab, such as
one trapped in Jade Forest
, for heals and damage reduction against the elemental. Blue quality.

How i beat him (after about 5 times)
Pets : Jumping spider - 25, Sea Gull - 25, Eternal Strider - 25 (blues)
Just keep running till the bear is first brittle web with the spider, followed up by spiderling swarm, this should make him heal Poison spit and keep brittle web up, on your next spiderling swarm he should die.
Beakmaster - Sent in sea gull who just kept using Slicing Wind unless Beakmaster charged up, then i would use Lift-off in hopes to avoid the big attack ( this takes alot of luck and was the result of most my deaths)
Bloom - Sent in Eternal Strider, Charged up a pump, used 2 water jets followed by pump again and bloom died, by far the easiest of the 3.

Here is my fun and not trivial strategy involving
肯瑞托魔仆
. With a bit of luck
you can solo whole battle using only this pet
!
Set
奥术冲击
,
奥术风暴
and - the most important -
腐烂
.
Get into the battle where Grizzle goes first.
Bash it twice with
奥术冲击
and on the 3rd round use
腐烂
to copy its crazy healing. Now you are immortal :)
Alternate
腐烂
(healing) and
奥术风暴
until
both background pets are dead
. Whenever you can also cast
奥术冲击
to stack damage. This will take about 35 rounds and should end with only Grizzle left and all of your pets being on full health.
Nuke (without wasting time on healing) Grizzle with stacked
奥术冲击
.
My Kirin Tor died when Grizzle had 350HP left and one shot from another pet did the trick. But if you get two crits during nuke stage Kirin Tor should solo this battle :)

My strategy
Beak master - lvl 22 rare water wavering (fight to the death)
Grizzle - lvl 25 rare onyxianwhelping (had 25% health left)
Bloom - continued with the onyxianwhelping and then used huge toad rare lvl 25.
I won with the huge toad at 30% health.
Worked 3 times so far.

Just posting my winning team here, maybe it gives some ideas tosomeone. Took quite a many attempts, but defeated him with:
- rare quality Dragonbone Hatchling (level 25) only did fight the bear, Grizzle with this
- Beak Master went down with level 20 rare quality Fel Flame
- and level 25 rare quality Spotted Bell-Frog killed the elemental Bloom
(And after the fight, Fel Flame dinged to 21 - so very nice experience there if you take a pet who is not level 25 yet with you into this fight)

my setup made this fight pretty easy,
Death talon Whelpguard, start with a darkflame then shadowflame while you wait on cd for grizzle,
Phoenix hatchling Immolation as starter, then burn, with heal when needed, best on the big hit for beakmaster,
Yellow-Bellied Bullfrog just spam water jet and heal when needed, i used sacrifice method, don't switch pets until the current one is dead, or you're giving his pets that extra shot on you.
Mine are all rare 25's i'm using for the trainer's. Hope this helps anyone struggling

Just to check in. The backbone of my team is always Fel Flame to destroy his mechanical pet. And Fluxfire Feline to kill his Beast. Leaving me free to bring in a level 22-24 anti-elemental to destroy his last pet. Usually I get one or two hits in on him with one of my higher level pets. I have had good success with Magical Crawdad most recently.

Finally, after all day of trials and defeats, i finally beat him, with no lvl 25 pets in my roster. I started with a lvl 24 Anodized robo-cub with supercharge/demolish combo on grizzle and one shot him. Kept on with his mechanical pet until my cub died then brought in a lvl 21 Fel Flame and burned him down pretty quick. My lvl 22 water strider took down his elemental pet efficiently. hope this helps! with the right team you do not have to over power him with max lvl pets :)

Trying to boil down the most important mechanics of this guy:
1) The bear. The hardest mechanic to overcome with the bear is the fact that he will Hibernate once his health dips low enough (seems to be a little under 50% that will trigger it). Hibernate heals for a ton of health and will essentially reset the fight if it gets off fully. There's 2 major ways I've found to handle this.
First, if you have a mechanical pet that hits extremely hard, you can kill him through the Hibernate fairly easily; the jist is that you need to get him extremely low by the first tick or the later ticks, which heal harder, will overwhelm you.
Second, and the method I prefer, is to simply use one of the many mechanical pets that have a 3-turn heal and do it while the bear is hibernating.
http://www.wowhead.com/search?q=clockwork+gnome
is a very common pet with such an ability, though there are quite a few others. In this case, you basically both reset the fight at the same time.
2) The mechanical bird. The main issue with this pet is that he hits hard. Like REALLY hard. However, the hard-hitting ability requires two turns to use, so he can't do it often. If you're using an elemental pet that hits light, you may still lose to this pet even though you have the weakness advantage. I've found a few good ways to handle this.
First, you can pull this trainer until the bear goes first. If you follow the strategy above, you'll have a mechanical pet with some health leftover from the bear. The mechanical pet can chip away a decent bit of the enemy's health before dying, which may be all you need.
Second, if you have pets with immunities, it can be fairly helpful. To give an example,
暗月飞艇
can drop "Decoys" which absorb two attacks; this will prevent many of the hard-hitting attacks that he does. He also happens to have an elemental attack to use against the bird.
Third, healing can be effective. With aggressive healing,
魔法龙虾
can heal through the damage of this enemy. Also, many elemental pets have Cauterize, which heals based on the damage taken on the last hit; since the hits are big but infrequent, this can be helpful.
Finally, watch out; this pet will rez itself since it's mechanical when it takes a death-blow, often allowing it to get off one more big hit than you may have been prepared for.
3) The lasher. This should be a relatively easy pet overall. It's main nuisance is it has a consistent ticking heal on itself. This shouldn't be too much of a problem, but be aware this can be an issue if you have a low-hitting pet; you may lose the dps race. That being said, just about any water attack should do the trick, and even hard-hitting pets that aren't water based should be able to out-do the heal.

Try going against Major Payne with a
熔火幼蛛
. I did it with a level 25 rare quality one, using
汲取生命
,
灸灼
, and
熔岩波
.
Fight
灰毛
first, the bear. You can use those abilities to guarantee you never die, and defeat his backline pets thanks to Magma Wave.
After you defeat his backline pets, then you can switch to a third pet of any level for 1 round to get XP, then switch to another pet to one shot him while he's hibernating.
I used
焊接小猫
's
增压
旋紧发条
X2 combo. You can find an alternative as well, just be wary of his stun, his rampage lasting 3 rounds, and his
野兽
passive.
Good luck!

EDIT: This post is out of date as of 5.2 due to the changes to Fluxfire.
Killing this trainer with 2 pets can be a bit tricky; unlike the Pandaria trainers, this trainer uses abilities at random rather than in a fixed and predictable fashion. Also, the lineup of hard-hitting pets that can heal makes it hard to just power through with only 2 pets. However, I have found a way of doing this trainer with 2 pets in a reliable way.
The main catch is you will need a
焊接小猫
that rolls a decently high speed. Major Payne's pets all have 305 speed, you need to roll something that's higher (I personally have one that's 325, so it's definitely possible with some room for error). Here's how you use this then:
1) Pull until the enemy starts with the bear. FIRST use Supercharge, THEN use Wind-Up, then finally Wind-Up a second time. The bear may stun you or may Rampage; due to being faster than him, it won't have any net effect on the fight (you'll still end the round getting hit by Rampage twice).
2) The enemy bird will come out next. On the first turn, cast Wind-Up to get the charge. BE CAREFUL; sometimes a killing blow of Wind-Up doesn't remove the charge (I assume this is a bug), and you do not want to lose that. If you still have the Wind-Up charge from killing the bear, use Claw/Pounce instead.
On the second turn, cast Supercharge; this is where the order against the first pet matters. If you don't Supercharge the first turn, unless the Bear stunned you, it won't be off cooldown, and it needs to be off cooldown this turn.
On the third turn, hit the bird with Wind-Up and it should die.
Note there is a small amount of RNG here, though not much. 2 hits of Rampage from the bear + 2 hits from the bird will usually kill you, but 3 hits combined is usually safe. The bird will have two turns to attack you. Unless one of the attacks in the fight is missed, the bird needs to spend one turn casting Wind-Up, which almost always happens; and if he uses Shock and Awe, he needs to not stun you (there's only a 25% chance of this). This may seem like a lot of "what if's", but it's pretty rare for these things to occur.
3) At this point, you should have a 1v1 against the elemental, just find something that can kill it. A critter with water attacks is a particularly good option, but almost any critter or water attacks should be able to kill it. You'll need to pull your low level pet out at some point against this elemental; the best time is usually when your Fluxfire Feline dies, which will usually happen from the Elemental's first attack.
Addition: You may be wondering why you want to kill the bear first. If everything goes well, whether you get the bird or the bear first won't make any difference at all, and if you're willing to take that risk then you can use this strat regardless of which pet is first. However, the difference is that the Bear heals for massive amounts of health. If your Fluxfire dies against the Bear, it will likely heal back to full before your 2nd pet can kill it, and if you have a low-damage pet, it literally may not have enough damage output to kill it; also, if you're using a Critter as your 2nd pet to counter the elemental damage, the Bear will be hitting it extremely hard. On the other hand, if something DOES go wrong, your Fluxfire can still usually get off a non-Supercharged Wind-Up against the bird, taking out over half its health. The bird won't heal, so your second pet may be able to recover the fight by killing the Fluxfire. For that reason, it's better to have the guaranteed kill be the bear rather than the bird, though as mentioned before, if everything goes right both of the enemy pets should die from your Fluxfire.

I try to use these dailies as a way to level up my other pets and this one is no exception. After a little experimenting I found it to be quite easy to lvl up even a lvl 1 pet with this guy but it'll take a little time. Here's how it works:
Use
Singing sunflower
and
Clockwork Gnome
as your main pets and any pet you wanna level up as 3rd. Switch the sunflowers third ability to sunlight.
Now chain forfeit until you get Grizzle as start - he might be hitting hard but as long as he's not critting too much, you should be able to stay alive with photosynthesis forever because he takes a nap and let you regen as well as him, and he will miss out on some hits too because he's using stun. Start out with sunlight and use it again every time it's cooldown is reset - this will damage the backline pets and give your photosynthesis extra healing. at approx round 80 or so you will have killed both backline pets without them ever getting into battle.
Be sure to swap in your lvl 1 pet at some point during his hibernate just to get the exp - you dont have to hit him.
Once both back pets are dead, you wait until sunlight wears off and then swaps in your clockwork gnome to finish Grizzle off - turrets and metal fist will do him good and you are done.
As i said from the start, it'll take some time but so far it worked every time for me. Now if you are a little too impatient for this, swap out your singing sunflower with a Phoenix Hatchling and lead with clockwork against grizzle. When Grizzle is dead, you swap in your pet to level up - this will have to be a fairly high lvl pet for it to work this way - lvl 20+ i recommend. Hit the mech once or twice but be sure to have plenty health left and then switch in your phoenix and use your immolate and conflagrate combo to finish the mech off - if you time it right, you can double hit with conflagrate so it will first kill the mech, then kill it again after it ressurects. Cross your fingers and hope that the phoenix will win against Bloom also - it should be going fine most the time but you might have to finish it off with your third pet so if that one is an aquatic with strong attacks against elementals you are certain to win.
Hope it's useful - been working very well for me.
- Cheers

An unconventional strategy I used, considering that I didn't have a lvl 25 mechanical and a lvl 25 elemental pet at the time, was
Gilnean Raven
against
Grizzle
,
Bat
against
Beakmaster X-225
, and
Shore Crab
vs
Bloom
. The logic behind this is that the first pet
Grizzle
uses extremely powerful beast attacks, which flying pets take less damage from.
Nocturnal Strike
, which
Gilnean Raven
and
Bat
can both use, is also very powerful, even against non-aquatic pets.
Call Darkness
modifies
Nocturnal Strike
so that it never misses.
Gilnean Raven
casted
Call Darkness
and then I rotated between
Gilnean Raven
and
Bat
to use
Nocturnal Strike
as much as possible.
The only pet of mine that survived was
Shore Crab
and just barely, so this combination is definitely not ideal.

Thought I'd add my own two cents on this one. I do his daily quite regularly and had been discussing it with a friend who'd reached the limit of his patience trying to beat this fight.
Like any tough fight it'll come down to a bit of luck. You're not always going to win it. That being said, here's how I choose to go about it:
Against
鹰嘴大师X-225型
- I used
灼烧焰灵
, using the abilities
燃烧
,
献祭
,
焚烧
. Starting with Immolate, and then Conflagrate. Followed by a Burn to finish him off after he comes back from the dead.
Against
灰毛
. I used
发条战士
, using the abilities
飞弹
,
毒烟
,
黏性手雷
. Start with Sticky Grenade, then Toxic Smoke. After that it's Missile over and over. I generally rinse and repeat this.
Against
花花
- I used
云游节幼龟
, using the abilities
抓握
,
振作精神
,
抽水
. Pump being the main one. Perk Up was my "scramble and heal" to buy time. Grasp to finish off.
All in all the fight usually goes well. I always keep re-trying the fight until I get Beakmaster first. It's the easiest to kill and will usually leave the scorchling with around 500 hp left to deal at least "some" damage to Grizzle before dying. With Grizzle it's all about luck. Pass on any turn you get stunned to sleep. You'll lose out more for switching pets than simply passing. Pray he chooses to sleep and heal about halfway through the fight. Usually it times nicely with the Sticky Grenade.
Good luck to all those trying this fight. Certainly having the right three classes of pet helps a ton. So does having the right style of abilities and a little luck. :)

This guy... Argh. It took me forever to beat him, and I had to level up counters to do so, for the first time. Here's a few tips:
I used the following setup (all rare pets):
A level 25
焊接小猫
, Claw, Wind-up, Supercharge.
A level 22
小水花
, Ice Lance, Frost Nova and Geyser.
A level 24
拉帕纳海螺
, Absorb, Shell Shield, Dive.
I started with the Feline, kept forfeiting until I had Grizzle first AND he didn't open with the stun. He will sometimes omit the stun in the start, so if you're having trouble with him, keep forfeiting until he doesn't open with it. Usually, Grizzle killed my Feline and the Mechanical passive was wasted, but I would kill Grizzle in two Wind-Up rotations, leaving my cat with a little HP to face Beakmaster. Alternatively, I risked a Supercharged Wind-Up, which can one shot the bear if it lands (I've had a few misses and it was really frustrating) before the bear gets to kill my cat.
Now, I've never truly had problems with Grizzle even in my old team, it was Beakmaster and that damn Lasher that got me, unlike most people. So here's how I handled the following:
I sacrificed my Feline, using a Claw on Beakmaster, then letting her take the Wind-Up batter from him. Then I swapped to my Waveling. The first two times I actually lost because Payne would swap Beakmaster out after the ress and destroy my last pet. But I won with the rotation of Geyser, Frost Nova and Ice Lance, given none of them missed. This keeps Nova up still when he resses, giving me one more Lance and killing it. At this point the Waveling would be low on HP and I'd swap him out so he'd get some exp out of the fight.
Swap to my Whelk, use Dive after a Roots round to absorb it, keep the shield up, and absorb life in between. This is easy given Dive or the life absorb don't miss.
All in all, this guy is cake if you find the right counters. Otherwise, it's a huge pain. It's probably doable with uncommon quality pets too, but I wouldn't recommend a lower level setup - I had tried with a 24 Feline, 21 Waveling and 23 Whelk and he won by a mile.
Good luck!

agianst this tamer i used tundra penguin kun-lai grunt and a sidewinder all blues. went with this combo for the penguin+grunt attacks . chilled ice causes the enemy to become chilled for 4 rounds and causes chance to miss by 20%. then switch to grunt for deepfreeze causes a high amount of damage and 100% to stun for 1 round which followed by takedown deals double damage if stunned . this caused him to switch bear before hibernate so once the mechanical 1 was down the bear followed which left snake with burrow on the elemental left it with half health the rest followed took me a long to work this out as i went with the top comment on mech/ele/aquatic which i failed about 8 times before trying this out worked 1st time xD hope this helps

After a few tries and lots of losses I found a team that can usually beat him with no dead pets in your line-up. I say usually because random chance still can play a large part.
Fluxfire Feline vs Grizzle ( windup, supercharge, windup and he is down
Dark Phoenix Hatchling vs Beakmaster ( just burn him down. You have 3 flame attacks, hard on
mechanicals and he can't hit you very hard)
Rapana Whelk vs Bloom (dive takes him down about half, then use any of your other attacks untill
dive comes up again, if he should happen to live that long)
My team is all 25 rares but I'm sure If you were to use slightly lower levels of these 3 you would still have a good chance of taking him.
I would not however Try and take him with 2 pets and a really low level pet for leveling. All his pets hit like Trucks!

After several attempts I finally got this guy down. Major Payne really... This one, Grizzle was first.
I used an Adder against Grizzle which goes first so I can poison him fast. Second skill doesn't matter. I used Vicious Fang as third and nuked him down while he was hibernating. Ignore his attacks since its not likely that he will kill you before he sleeps.
For the other two pets I used a Water Waveling to nuke the mech and prevent switching. If you are unlucky, he will kill this guy with the root.
Finally, a Silkbead Snail to finish off the elemental, did not have much problems on him even with his roots.
Happy killing!

I used Fluxfire Feline on the bear and one shot him with a windup/prowl combo. I kept Fluxfire out against the mechanical and got him below half and made him use his windup to kill me.
Then, I used Ammen Vale Lashling to finish off the mechanical and start to damage the elemental.
I used Mirror Strider to finish off the elemental with pump.

This guy is a major pain (pun intended :P), but I finally beat him with the following set up:
On
灰毛
, I used a rare level 25 Water Snake with Poison Fang as opener and finished him off with Vicious Fang.
On the
鹰嘴大师X-225型
, I used a rare level 25 Electrified Razortooth opening with Paralyzing Shock, following up with Jolt and then Devour. This pet is what made all the difference for me on this fight. His elemental damage is very strong against the Beakmaster.
On
花花
I used a rare level 25 Dancing Water Skimmer with opening with two Pump, followed with Water Jet and using Healing Wave as necessary.
This combo was what finally helped me beat him rather easily. Hopefully it helps someone else out that may be stuck on this guy :)

The worst, must annoying fight of all the Grand Masters imo. Never will you see pets with 6 health dodge 4 times in a row anywhere else... Never will you see more crits magically start hitting you when you have the upper hand.
Beakmaster=use something like an infinite whelpling... if early advantage wasn't broken he'd be cake. But it is broken and doesnt hit 2x most of the time (not even showing in combat log as a miss... it just doesnt happen, even if Beakmaster clearly has 1k more health than your pet)
The bear... also easy, in principle... Until you find that he crits 5 rounds in a row and wipes your pets with what would otherwise be very easy, survivable attacks.
By the time you've reached the easiest of the bunch, the GD Bloom, who could be 2 shot with a good eternal strider, you end up with 300 HP left.. which are gone in 1 magic crit.
Screw you Major Payne, lol.

I used Robo-Chick against the bear, a level 21 Singing Sunflower against the mech, and a 23 leopard tree frog against the elemental.

What worked for me was using all 25's and all rares of the Robo-Chick, Water Waveling and Biletoad. In that order, because I never saw them appear in any order other than Grizzle, Beakmaster and lastly Bloom.
For Grizzle, I had Robo Chick's abilities set to Batter, Overtune (used this often so I got to go first as much as possible) and Wind-up I used when Grizzle went in to Hybernation. So this made him fairly easy.
Switched to Water Waveling when Beakmaster came up. Set the Geyser first. Used Frost Shock to switch me to faster player and than used Ice Lance. When he is dead set the geyser before switching to Biletoad so that it goes off on Bloom :)
Switched to Biletoad for Bloom. Frog Kiss (which I never saw Bloom turn into a frog), Water Jet used the most and Healing Wave when needed just to keep me alive. If Biletoad died I usually had Robochick alive to finish Bloom off.
Hope this helps others! Good Luck...It was a major pain and took many tries to figure out what worked with my battle pets :)

Post 5.2, this strategy works pretty well with two pets, with the last slot to earn XP for a reasonably high level pet. The order is now always
灰毛
, then
鹰嘴大师X-225型
, and finally
花花
. As a reminder, the nearest Stable Master is in front of your faction's tent on the fairgrounds.
I start with my level 25 rare
锯齿迅猛龙
set up to use
猛击
,
尖啸
, and
伤口外露
. Start with Expose Wounds, then two or three Batters should have the bear dead. Open with Expose Wounds again on Beakmaster. Chances are good I'll die from his first attack, but will come back at 20% health. I try to get a Screech in to slow him down for four rounds, which usually means I'll be able to get a Batter in before he kills the Cogblade for good. Sometimes more than one; I keep Battering until the Cogblade is dead.
Then out comes my level 25 rare
小水花
set up with
冰枪术
,
冰霜震击
and
喷泉
. Depending on how much health Beakmaster still has I either just finish him off with Ice Lance, or Frost Shock and Ice Lance, or if he still has a lot of health then start with Geyser before Frost Shock and Ice Lance. The Waveling is usually still in pretty good shape when Beakmaster is dead for good. Then I keep attacking Bloom with him until the Waveling is dead.
Finally I bring out a level 20-24 pet who can do enough damage to finish off Bloom. Usually this means any type of pet except a mech. Critters will take less damage from him and Aquatic abilities do more, so you can usually go a few levels lower for pets who can bring either of those characteristics to the fight.
Even on a bad run where both the bear and mech got stuns off on me, and he had no misses at all yet my Waveling had a miss, my
魁潭猫鼬
with Dive managed to win the match. It was a little closer than usual, though.
It isn't 100%, but it does work more often than not. The main real downside I've seen is a couple of times the Waveling accidentally killed Bloom before I got to bring out the pet I was leveling.

Despite everything I read, I found that keeping it simple and going with opposite types worked well. Every time I tried this I was just barely not making it, despite trying every complicated idea under the sun. Finally I tried just going toe-to-toe with the opposite type. (I should note that every time I fought Payne, his order for his line up didn't vary at all. It was always beast type bear, mecha-chicken, and then elemental lasher.)
I used S/B breed Clockwork Gnome (Metal Fist/Repair/Build Turret), P/S breed Terrible Turnip (Tidal Wave/Leech Seed/Sons of the Root), and H/B breed Garden Frog (Water Jet/Healing Wave/Frog Prince) in that order. All were level 25, Rare quality battle pets. I switched every time Payne's pet died despite it allowing the opposite side an extra attack, but you could in theory run each pet until it died for some extra damage.
I started with CG's Turret, then used Fist until Turret's cool down was up. (I passed anytime my CG was stunned.) Thanks to an addon I could tell when the other abilities would be on cool down, forcing the Bear to use Hibernate. When I saw the Bear would be forced to use Hibernate, I used Repair the same round. (Not sure if it's Battle Pet BreedID, Daily Tamer Check, or PetTracker, that shows this as I started using all 3 at the same time.) Rinse and repeat, putting up Turrents every chance I got. Bear was dead before Repair's cool down was up.
(Doing this today as a daily I found that it's possible to force the Bear to have no moves available and have to pass. I also found that I had the chance to put a second Turret up before switching to my Turnip once the bear was dead.)
With the mecha-chicken I used Terrible Turnip, using first Leech Seed, then SotR. When that was up, I used Tidal Wave, which had the added bonus of also doing damage to the Lasher in the background as it's a water type attack. Thanks to SotR, I missed most of the damaging attacks from mecha-chicken and killed it before SotR's cool down was up.
For the Lasher I used Frog Kiss over and over, except for breaks to heal myself with Healing Kiss when ever it's cool down was up. Frog Kiss hit every time, doing more damage that Water Jet by the third hit. It also turned the Lasher into a frog at least once, which basically gave me an extra attack.
Except for knowing when to use Repair via my addon, it was all pretty straight forward and easy to do. The key was having the pets come out in the right order and having all 3 be level 25. (Some of my earlier attempts I used pets that were level 22-24, but they consistently missed with their attacks, even when they types that were strong against their opponents.) While the addon showing the opposing pet's abilities and cool downs was helpful, you could in theory keep track of it manually if need be.

My team:
Level 25 Lil' XT - Zap, Repair, XE-321 Boombot
Level 25 Terrible Turnip - Tidal Wave, Leech Seed, Sunlight
Level 25 Eternal Strider (rare P/S) - Water Jet, Healing Wave, Pump
I deployed a Boombot immediately with Lil' XT and used Zap. Somehow I timed when Grizzle was using Hibernating with when I used Repair. Keep a Boombot deployed and Repair on cooldown. I kept Lil' XT out until Beakmaster killed him (managed to get a Boombot deployed before he died). Next came Terrible Turnip and I started off with Sunlight follwed by Leech Seed and Weaking Blow. Terrible Turnip made pretty quick work (with the help of a Boombot) of Beakmaster - Leech Seed eventually killed him. Again, I kept Terrible Turnip in against the next pet, Bloom. Bloom eventually killed my Turnip, but the Turnip managed to take a chunk of health off of Bloom. All my Eternal Strider had to do was fire one Water Jet and the match was over.
Good luck - hope this helps.

So, like everyone else I was having trouble with this, but the bear wasn't really a problem, the other 2 throwing random cheats were my hang-up.
How did/do I beat the bear that everyone else seems to crap themselves thinking about?
Easy, originally it was Fjord Worg Pup Blue quality.
Stats at 25: Health 1400 Attack 325 Speed 260
Ability load-out Flurry,Howl,Dazzling Dance.
Round 1, 50/50 chance of the bear coming out and stunning Worg, so what.If not, dazzling dance. Now worg and the rest of the team are faster than opponents.(if you chose well)
Round 2, Dazzling dance if stunned in round 1.
Round 2/3 Howl. Bear will take 100% more damage for 2 rounds.
Round 3/4 Flurry. With dance and howl up, flurry will hit 2 and sometimes 3 times per use.
Round 4/5 Bear goes to sleep. (and never wakes up) even with the heals from hibernate the 2-3 hits from the first and second use of flurry coupled with the debuff of howl mean that the bear takes enough damage to not get another chance.
At this point Worg usually has 300 or less hp and must be swapped out or the mechano chicken of cheating death kills it.Though, if you are trying to 2 pet this to level something, he can get in a final shot of flurry for a little bit of damage.
Now, this does work about 60-70% of the time, I have since switched out the Fjord Worg Pup for Alpine Foxling Kit.
Rare quality 25, 1465 Health, 273 Attack, 289 Speed.
This extra bit of speed insures the foxling goes first and gets a move off before being stunned, though he rarely gets stunned anyway.
Just fought a round where the mechanical nailed my Electrified Razortooth for 852 using what was apparently windup+batter. Critical hits are yellow text, this was white.
Electrified Razortooth (Rare 1481 H,292A,260S) is classed as an Elemental and allegedly takes 33% less damage from mechanicals, but this fight would prove otherwise.
Another pet that does well here is Crimson Geode. Crystal Overload + Stone Rush=mechanical ressurection.(Rare 1465H,292A.273S.)
The flower, I use either my trusty Shore Crab(rare 1806H 260A,244S) or my Mongoose rare, 1156 Health, 260 Attack 374 Speed.Gnaw, Screech and Surge or Dive.

I found a way to 2-pet this trainer in 5.2. However it's a rather tight win a lot of times and requires a relatively high level pet that you're leveling as the low level will likely get hit several times. The enemy uses abilities in a semi-random way, so the fight ends up being a bit unreliable, but I've noticed this strat usually does win.
1) Start your low level pet. The enemy will start with their bear. You do not want to do any damage abilities against the enemy; doing this will ensure that he always stuns before he hibernates. You need to either use healing spells or simply pass. There are two possibilities as to what will happen:
1-A) If the enemy opens with his stun:
- Swap to
http://www.wowhead.com/spell=103544
. Use Minefield. Use Missile 3 times, then Ion Cannon. If that doesn't kill the Bear you're in trouble, so just surrender, but this should kill the Bear unless you missed an attack.
1-B) If the enemy opens up with Ravage:
- The enemy will Ravage for 3 turns. Your low level pet needs to stay out until he gets stunned, which will require getting hit by Ravage 3 times. Healing spells are fine, but do not attack the enemy. The goal is to get him to stun you before Hibernating. Once he stuns, swap to
http://www.wowhead.com/spell=103544
.
- Start by putting out Minefield. Missile the enemy until they're low enough to be finished off by Ion Cannon (should be 2 Missiles) then kill them with Ion Cannon.
2) The enemy will now bring in his mechanical bird. When you unstun from the Ion Cannon, Missile the enemy as many times as you can. If you do not get at least one Missile off, there is a good chance you will lose, though a win is still possible. Usually you do get one Missile off, and that's all you need.
3) When your Tonk dies, swap in
小拉格
with Sulfuras Smash, Conflagrate, and Flamethrower. While I know there are other pets with the Burn + Conflagrate combo, I won't say with absolute certainty the others won't work, but Ragnaros is by far the hardest hitting one, at the expense of speed, and that works well with this strat.
There are two possible scenarios. The first is that if you got one Missile off, you're going to want to Flamethrower the enemy to death (it sounds odd to Flamethrower with Sulfuras Smashing, but due to the way the numbers work out, 3 Flamethrowers will kill the enemy. 3 Smashes would do it as well; no more, no less. Thus, default to the one that keeps the dot on the Battlefield).
The second scenario is that you didn't get a Missile off. If this happens, Flamethrower on the first turn and Conflagrate on the second turn. This will kill the enemy, including his rez, since the first tick of Conflagrate will kill him, he will rez, then the second tick will hit him, and the Flamethrower dot will finish him off. While this kills the bird faster, unfortunately, it is probably going to prevent use of it against the enemy plant, which is the problem.
4) The enemy plant comes out. If you have Conflagrate, use it; otherwise, simply beat it up with Rag's abilities. If you don't have Conflagrate off cooldown, then try to beat the enemy with your other abilities, though it's hard to beat the check. In cases like this, it is common (though not a guarantee) that the plant will survive with only a few hundred health left. If your low level pet can deliver a few hundred health hit this makes the strategy tremendously more reliable, but remember that the enemy plant heals; this means that if your low level pet can't hit hard enough, the heal will either prevent you from killing it or will at least slow it down so much that you'll just have to try again.

I highly recommend Kun-Lal runt and Bucktooth Flapper because they have high hitting abilities that are favorable against a couple of his pets.

I'm a family man, I dont WANT to spent 2-4 weeks leveling a mechanical just to kick his ass. This is a game, I shouldnt have to chug coffee and snickers bars for 6 hrs straight JUST to beat this one guy.
It's nice that Blizz gave us so much to do the problem is they make EACH thing a job in itself.

I thought I was going to have a harder time with this one, since I didn't have a high level Mechanical. In order, I used:
25 Sandy Petrel (rare)
25 Golden Dragonhawk Hatchling (rare)
25 Spirebound Crab (rare)
The first two died, and I won the battle with 1467/1481 health left on the Crab.

I was able to take this guy down with two max level pets and a 14 I was leveling. I used Lil'XT and an Emperor Crab. The trick with this combo is to make sure XT takes down the first two pets (or comes really close.)
I started with XT and opened with Tympanic Tantrum (btw, if the bear stunned me I just reset the fight.) He'll hit you three times for about 390 white damage (I did see 500+ crits a few times.) Then he'll go to sleep. During this time I spammed him with zap and took him out. You should end this fight with about 500-700 hps.
As soon as he switched to the Mecnopeep-looking pet, I hit Repair and prayed I would make it two more rounds. A couple of times I didn't but when I finally did, I just burned that pet down with Zap (just remember, he should already have 300-400 hps chewed away from the Tympanic Tantrum in the first round.) If he has some hps left, the Emperor Crab can finish him off but I'd rather not bring the crab in this round at all. The flower does a lot of damage and I want my crab at full health.
When the mechanical pet died, I quickly switched to my level 14 pet. The first move that flower seems to make is Renewing Mist so could you probably try this with a level 1. Don't forget to have that pet make one move or it doesn't get experience. Anyways, on the crab I popped Renewing Mist, Whirlpool (which hits the flower like a truck), and Surge.
Another thing to remember is this strat relies on a lot of RNG. If XT didn't either take down both pets on his own or take down the bear and at least 90% of the mechanical, I would just reset the fight. You can switch in your leveling pet on the mech fight but it's pretty risky. I've had that mechanical pet hit XT for 800hps in one shot.
Edit: One more thing I wanted to add. I tried to open with my leveling pet since the bear's stun does zero damage. But, that didn't work out for me. I needed to time that bear fight just right to end it with a good amount of hps. It's best to just wait for the right time in the mech fight (not recommended for low level pets) or the beginning of the flower fight (recommended.)

I defeated this team consistently using the following:
Anodized Robo Cub (Mechanical) vs. Grizzel
Electrified Razortooth (Elemental) vs. Beakmaster X-225
Rapana Whelk (Critter) vs. Bloom
All were level 25 and rare spawn versions.
The Anodized Robo Cub you can capture and it becomes level 17, the Electrified Razortooth level 22, and the Rapana Whelk level 22 …so all in all fairly fast to level up to 25 to fight this battle.

Crimson Shale Hatchling (Elemental) lvl 25 rare
Eternal Strider (Aquatic) lvl 25 rare
Supercharge and Demolish took down Grizzle although I missed a few times with Demolish - when it connects though it hits like a truck even when he's hibernating
Used Stone Rush and Burn on Beak Master - actually had more problems with him than the other two due to the fact that he never seems to miss
Pump and Water Jet on Bloom and he dies pretty fast although you do need at least one Healing Wave

I thought I'd leave my experience to give hope and help to others.
My first shock, the pet's I'm battling aren't rare. No, they are epic. I was like 'ummm... really?' Then after confirming on the forums that at this stage there are no epic pets that I can use to battle them, I thought I'd give it a try.
I used Lil Ragnaros, level 23, mostly because I love him. Next up was my Azure Whelping, Level 24 (again because of love, because it was a LOT of time grinding for her - we're talking vanilla baby), and my third pet, which I have recently discovered is a little go'er, Strand Crab (H/H rare), level 24.
With Rag's I used Conflagrate, then Sulfuras Smash, and finally Sons of Flame. I nearly killed that bear too and was very disappointed when it swapped to the mechanopeep (very, as I only had a little health left). With some luck (and I agree that is what it was) Rag's managed to doge that chicken's attacks until Son's of Flame was available (Cheer!). I was pretty pleased when that worked and got him down before being murdered in what can only be described as a ruthless attack on a poor defenseless elemental.
Up comes my whelping. Alas she just didn't last long, but she did manage to kill that dreadful chicken with her awesome Ice Tome ability, before falling to the wicked attack of a gnomish invention herself. It was indeed a sad moment.
Now I'm left my with Strand Crab against an epic elemental flower. At this stage I was cursing myself for deciding to use renewing mists instead of the healing wave, but as it turned out, that wasn't such a bad error on my part. Strand Crab killed the epic elemental after about 8 or 9 rounds with whirlpool and surge (that blasted flower kept on healing itself, I was quite miffed about that.).
Victory!
That is until I completed my quest and discovered that Major Payne was the daily for today. The irony was not wasted on me.

I just beat him on my first try, and again for the daily (after reading the helpful advice listed here~).
My team was:
Mini-Thor (Missile, Minefield, Launch Rocket),
Lil' Ragnaros (Sulfuras Smash, Conflagrate, Flame thrower),
Magical Crawdad (Surge, Shell Shield, Wish)
Against Grizzle (who was always first), He stunned me, then I just pumped him full of missiles. Didn't chance Launch Rocket. Grizzle almost beat him, but he made the fatal mistake of going to sleep. Missiles don't stop because you're tired, bear.
Lil' Ragnaros made short, short, short work of Mechanopeep. Flamethrower-> Conflagrate. When he mechanicaled back to life, I just popped him (it?) with a Sulfuras Smash.
Bloom took the longest, but I played it safe with the Crawdad. Kept Shell Shield up, spammed surge every time and used Wish when HP was low. Bloom kept recovering life, but in the end attrition wins.
All in all, Okrut gave me a harder time, but I can totally see how this guy would be a damn pain.

Then used windrider cub with lift-off and bite and killed him. Lasted hardly any time against the flower but Eternal Strider does awesome damage against this, 2 shot him with pump, healing in between.

In my opinion, Payne is the hardest to defeat of any Grand Master Pet Tamer. I can beat him with some reliability, but it's always a hard fight that can turn on me if I get the least bit unlucky at a critical moment.
I've had my best results using Lil Deathwing, a Malayan Quillrat Pup, and a Phoenix Hatchling. Lil Deathwing can take out the bear, but usually dies in one or two moves of the mechanopeep. The Phoenix Hatchling is an elemental with the rare and important trait of being faster than Payne's Mechanopeep. It also has Immolate and Conflagrate, which together do a number on an otherwise very brutal pet. This lets it get a hit or two off on the lasher.
The lasher is, itself, not quite as much of a problem as the others (at least, it's not as hard hitting as the peep and doesn't heal like the bear can). The issue is you'll usually come into fighting it somewhat depleted, and with Renewing Mists it's a bit of a tank. Lash is unfriendly if you don't outspeed it (a difficult proposition) and Entangling roots adds spikes of high damage. I use the Quillrat Pup because it is for now my only Level 25 Rare critter, meaning it takes less damage. Powerball might reduce the incoming damage further, but I usually leave it on Counterstrike to do a little more damage overall.

It took me about 5 tries and combinations to take this guy down but I did it! He's definitely a Major Payne! Here is what I did!
I used a level 25 Sprite Darter Hatchling in my first slot with the abilities Arcane Blast, Life Exchange and Moonfire. Life Exchange and Arcane Blast proved EXTREMELY helpful. I'd use Moonfire first, and Grizzle would hit me for a lot of damage, I then started hitting him with Arcane Blast and when my health dipped below 200 which it did fast I used Life Exchange. He'd go into Hibernation after this which I then used Moonfire to nuke and then Arcane Blast and that killed him off. I had barely any health left on my first pet but it got the job done!
In the second slot I used a level 25 rare Kun-Lai Runt with Thrash, Frost Shock and Deep Freeze. Frost Shock and Deep Freeze are Elemental attacks so they proved extremely effective. I used Deep Freeze first and then spammed Frost Shock since it doesn't have a CD and used Deep Freeze when it's CD wore off. My pet actually died while Major Payne's had about 80 health points.
For my third and final slot I used a level 25 Forest Moth with Slicing Wind, Cocoon Strike and Mothballs, I killed off Beakmaster with Slicing Wind. Bloom was extremely easy to kill and I just used Cocoon Strike then Moth Balls and then spammed Slicing Wind till Bloom was down. I was actually only down about 300 health when Bloom died. Using an aquatic pet here would be even better.

After numerous tries and reading post after post and realizing I didn't have half the pets suggested, I finally came up with this lineup:
Rare Lv.25 Personal World Destroyer: Metal Fist,Supercharge,Screeching Gears
Rare Lv.24 Yellow-Bellied Bullfrog (P/P): Water Jet,Healing Wave,Frog Kiss
Rare Lv.25 Pandaren Earth Spirit: Stone Shot, Rupture, Crystal Prison
Hardest comes out first, Grizzle makes you want to start to scream and never stop!
Get your Personal World Destroyer and go with Supercharge and then Metal Fist and keep that up until he dies. It surprisingly didn't take long.
Use your Bullfrog on Bloom, your Pandaren Spirit on Beakmaster and voila!

If you're trying to level a pet and need two pets that can take all three of this guy's down, I recommend Lil' Ragnaros plus anything strong against elemental (I used Toothy). Flamethrower+Conflagrate combo rips through the beast even halfway through his heal, and Rag is also strong versus the mechanical. That just leaves mopping up the elemental, which I think any aquatic can do easily.

I run all the pet dailies every day to level pets from, so I use 2 pet strategies to defeat all these masters to level pets that are between level 1 and 10 (except beast of fable). It takes me a little over an hour to do every daily that yields at least a pet supplies bag, including beasts of fable. This guy is by far the hardest to figure out a decent strategy to level pets off of, but I wanted to share what I do because of how difficult this guy is. I'm not going to explain every master or beast of fable, if you really would like to know how to quickly dispatch of these guys you can message me in game (Dakari Lightbringer Alliance), but like i said i will share my strategy for this guy.
You will have to do a little farming to pick up the right breed of pets, but the combination of pets that defeats this master every time w/o spending a year and a day is the Rabid Nut Varmint 5000 P/S breed and the flayer Youngling S/S breed. This allows an effective consistent two pet daily leveling farm of this master, and they really do make his pets trivial if used correctly. His pets hit hard, and they are fast, so to beat them you need to be able to be either faster or reduce the damage, or in this case, both.
Major Payne will start with the bear, I have found that either H/P or P/S of the Rabid Nut Varmint 5000 produces roughly about the same results, but the P/S breed does a better job with the mechanical pet that comes next. Regardless either should work.
1) you start with Extra Plating then surrender until he doesn't start with a stun
2) you do Metal Fist
3) you do Rabid Strike, He will hibernate after this hit, except if you use the P/S breed and he will hit you one more time then he will Hibernate
4) you do 2x metal fist and he dies. the H/P breed ends the fight with around 850 health left, and the P/S breed roughly ends the fight with that much or higher when the mechanical pet comes out.
5) you cast Extra Plating (mechanical pet)
6) you cast Rabid Strike ( this is where a lot of the time the H/P breed will die after this move, giving you only 1 more hit left, but the P/S breed will always be alive here, unless you missed a hit.
7) you cast metal fist until your dead, allowing the pet swap to the Flayer Youngling when you die (about 1/3 of the time the P/S breed will kill both bear and mechanical pet, but the H/P breed will at best get the mechanical to around 20% life left).
8) you cast kick **note** other pets have this ability, but its important that you use a S/S breed here, as far as I can tell the Hopling and this pet will really be the only good options, I prefer the Flayer Youngling myself.
9) its your turn again, so you do Blitz, and about 95% of the time the mechanical pet will be dead here at this point. About 30% of the time the mechanical pet dies to the P/S breed 5000 so you don't even need to bring this pet out.
10) the elemental healing pet then comes out, this is where you swap your low level pet in. You can use a level 1 pet here, but about 50% of the time the elemental will open with a direct attack ability so I prefer to use at least a level 10 pet here. You only need to sub him in for one move, you don't need to attack anything, you just need to have him on the field, then switch to the flayer.
11) It is important to use your abilities correctly here, or the fight becomes difficult, but if you do it right even at 50% health you will win every time. Open with either Deflection or Blitz at this point. Use Deflection if he has his 1 round root ability that does a lot of front load damage, and use Blitz if that isn't up. (the goal is to save deflection until he casts his 1 round root ability on you). The reason you don't start with kick is because your swapping pets in and out and the elemental will always get to go first vs your Youngling, so if you cast kick, you effectively wasted your ability.
12) on your next turn you now use Kick.
13) its your turn again, so cast Blitz (from now on cast kick when its off CD and counter his root with deflection, and you win.
this 2 pet strategy works every time. The most I have spent resetting the fight because of bear stuns at the start and the entire fight itself is about 6 minutes. the average battle is roughly 3 minutes, give or take, and every fight is under 20 turns.
Hope this helps.

Alternate 2 pet strategy. Pretty repeatable, only restarting at the very start so no bandages needed.
lil xt for grizzle - If he does his no dmg stun the second the fight starts, quit and restart. In this order - Bomb-bot, zap, repair. He won't kill you, he'll start to hibernate as you heal too. Set up another Bomb-bot and zap again. He will try to sleep again but your zap will kill him so you start the fight against beakmaster with a low health xt that hasnt died yet, and a bombbot.
When XT dies switch to Kun-Lai Runt, mine was lvl 24 with frost shock and deepfreeze equipped. Runt will finish him AND bloom off by himself if you let him. Either swap a high lvl pet in when beakmaster has already come back to life to finish him off, or if it's a lower level you are leveling, bring him in earlier, after XT dies is good.

Developed a reliable 2-pet strat over the last 3 days. Only had to reset the fight once, due to really terrible RNG:
Clockwork Gnome (Metal Fist, Repair, Build Turret)
Anubisath Idol (Crush, Sandstorm, Deflection)
Clockwork Gnome vs Grizzle
: (Option 1, slight RNG) Build Turret, (stunned), Metal Fist, Metal Fist, Build Turret, Repair, repeat. The RNG can wreck you if you're still doing Repair when he comes out of Hibernation -- if he can Bash, he does it immediately.
Clockwork Gnome vs Grizzle
: (Option 2, safer) Build Turret, (stunned), Repair, Build Turret, Metal Fist, Metal Fist, Build Turret, repeat.
Clockwork Gnome vs Beakmaster-X225
: Build Turret, Metal Fist, pet is dead at this point.
Anubisath Idol vs. Beakmaster-X225
: Use Deflection to block Shock and Awe. Once the turret expires, cast Sandstorm. Otherwise spam Crush.
Anubisath Idol vs. Bloom
: Use Deflection on Entangling Roots to block the damage. Otherwise, keep Sandstorm active and just spam Crush.
Leveling Pet vs. Bloom
: Swap in right after you deflect an Entangling Roots. Swap back immediately. This is best done after the first Entangling Roots so this fight doesn't drag on forever.

Finally I cured the Payne!
1. Effervescent Glowfly (Rare lvl25) Slicing Wind - Cocoon Strike - Glowing Toxin.
2. Wolpertinger (Rare lvl25) Horn Attack - Flyby - Headbutt.
3. Emperor Crab (Rare lvl25) Surge - Healing Wave - Whirlpool.

Having some success with the folllowing:
1st- Mechanical (I use Lil XT)
2nd- Elemental (I use Lil Ragnaros or Phoenix Hatchling for Conflags)
3rd- A levelling aquatic
XT Pulverizes the bear if you risk Heartbroken before Tantrum, I got one tick of Tantrum for 844 crit.
Elemental mops up Beakmaster, Rag's first conflag killed him, then the second tick due to having flamethrower debuff on killed the regen, pretty funny.
Rag could probably finish off Bloom, but I pulled out the Spirebound crab lvl 22 and surged him to death :)

I've been able to consistently 2-pet Major Payne with the following team:
<Leveling Pet> - Needs to be able to take a hit from Grizzle
锯齿迅猛龙
(Level 25, Rare, S/S) - Batter, Screech, Expose Wounds
君王蟹
(Level 25, Rare, P/P) - Surge, Renewing Mists, Shell Shield
Send your leveling pet in first. He may or may not take the stun. It makes it easier if your leveling pet eats the stun, but I've won whether or not Grizzle opens with the stun or not. Cast an ability with your leveling pet and then swap him out for the Cogblade Raptor. Use Expose Wounds and then Batter until Grizzle is dead.
Beakmaster comes in. Again use Expose Wounds and then Batter as much as possible. You probably won't be able to kill Beakmaster with your Cogblade Raptor, but you'll come close. Bring out your Emperor Crab to finish him off. I prefer to load out my Emperor Crab with Shell Shield, instead of Whirlpool for this reason.
Finally, Bloom will come in. He's pretty easy with the Emperor Crab. Just Surge him down. Make sure you've got a Shell Shield up when Entangling Roots hits and keep Renewing Mists rolling when you need it.

I've found defeating Major Payne to be easy with a level-up opportunity as well with this team:
发条侏儒
easily beats the bear and sometimes takes a bite or two out of Beakmaster.
雷尾土拨鼠
crushes the Beakmaster. The Beakmaster doesn't always use the same attack sequence. It is not uncommon for my Thundertail Flapper to have more that half it's health when Bloom spawns, depending on Beakmaster's sequencing.
Bloom doesn't put out a lot of damage. I've found any level 20+ Creature will best it for certain and as long as the selected pet does enough damage to overtake Bloom's healing, it's not a difficult fight.

Major Payne – Icecrown – Level 25
Quickteam List – Mechanical, Elemental, Aquatic
Pet 1: Grizzle – Beast – Use Mechanical
Pet 2: Beakmaster X-225 – Mechanical – Use Elemental
Pet 3: Bloom – Elemental – Use Aquatic
This was perfect advice! I used my
Cogblade Raptor
(uncommon lvl 25,)
Tiny Bog Beast
(rare lvl 25) &
Golden Civet Kitten
(rare lvl 23) and it worked like a charm the very first time with only losing the Tiny Bog Beast. I kept him active against Bloom and used Poison Lash and Lash to help my Golden Civet Kitten since she was lvl 23.
After I finished, I was allowed to battle him again as the Daily, but lost the next round. Healed my pets and tried once more and won again! (lost both the Cogblade Raptor and the Tiny Bog Beast that time, due to bad luck with
Grizzle
, but the Golden Civet Kitten was now level 24, after the first win, so she could hold her own a little better. She's now lvl 25 after these battles with Major Payne!)
Best advice I can give:
Watch the abilities that your pets have.
Just because an ability might be a "higher level ability" doesn't mean it's what you need to use. For example, with the Golden Civet Kitten, I used
Surge
because it always goes first. Sometimes that makes all the difference. And with the Tiny Bog Beast,
Lash
and
Poison Lash
work against Mechanicals and that's what I needed him for, even though they were the abilities he got at level two and four.

Like many others, I also struggled alot with this guy before I finally got the tactics right.
This was my setup:
1.
发条侏儒
2.
小拉格
(
烈焰先驱者
might work good here too)
3. <insert random pet here>
Start with
发条侏儒
, and immediately deploy
建造炮塔
.
After that, use
修复
, the bear will dps you abit, but the turrets will do alot of dmg to him in the meantime. Once you're healed up, deploy another set of turrets, so that you will have two up for a couple of rounds. The bear should be really low at this point, finish him off with
铁拳
Usually, I have one turret still standing when the next pet enters the arena. It's a mechanical. Mechanicals do not like fire. This time it's NOT too soon to awaken
小拉格
.
Start with
烈焰喷射
for the dot, and the increased dmg for your next ability. Which should be
焚烧
. Apply
萨弗拉斯重击
for as long as you can, refresh
烈焰喷射
if you feel like it.
I usually start the last part with Raggy still very much alive and have often been able to defeat Payne using just these two pets. At any rate, you should still be able to bring the last pet pretty far down and should you die, you can use almost any other pet to finish off.
烈焰先驱者
,
昆莱小雪人
are both good.

My team for defeating Payne was (in this exact order):
1. Menagerie Custodian
2. Core Hound Pup
3. Snarly
Menagerie Custodian: Open with Shock and Awe, follow up with Lock On first and second uses. Zap should finish the bear off. Swap to Core Hound Pup.
Core Hound Pup: open with Howl. Follow up with Burn x3. Swap to Snarly after Beakmaster goes down.
Snarly: Open with Rip. Followup with Blood in the Water. Finish with Water Jet. I did this twice in a row, it seemed like it would work well. There's no accounting for random, but as I say: twice this worked exactly as described above.

anub idol - demolish, sandstorm, rupture
demolish is a mechanical ability but it doesnt hit all the time, but it hits 888 mechanical damage so its worth it. i used rupture to stun him from time to time, by the time the bear went down i still had enough hp to fight beakmaster, this is where rupture comes along, as it is elemental damage
2nd pet, carry pet
3rd pet - emperor crab - while fighting beakmaster payne will take out his elemental so just switch from anub idol to emperor crab, shell shield first then mist then surge, take out ur carry pet to hit the elemental while taking advantage of the renewing mist

anubisath - crush , sandstorm, rupture
when he starts out with a stun i forfeit, btw..and re-do it. hehe.
so normally i crush him twice and not use sandstorm during the bear fight
when the mechanical comes out i use rupture and sandstorm and demolish as well..using demolish as a filler of course..rupture my main dps
2nd pet would be tiny bog beast- clobber lash poison lash
this is an elemental that takes least dmg from mechanicals

Ok, took 3 attempts to get this guy down.
Just adding the pets I used as they are all really easy to get and very normal pets and were not all level 25 rares :)
I opened with a Jumping Spider level 24 rare against Grizzle. The spider held up really well but Grizzle won with about 400 health left.
I entered my Tundra Penguin level 25 green next and belly slid which wiped the last bit of the bear health away
He chose Beakmaster next and so belly slid continually which I did 3 times and hit with 2 of them taking out his pet.
The flower was last which killed the penguin quickly as it didn't have much health left anyway and so I had the celestial dragon left level 25 rare, it was a very close fight with me having about 250 health when the flower died.
Just adding experiences / team in case it helps anyway.

I highly recommend using a Nether Faerie Dragon on this fight. Managed to kill the first two pets with a level 25 one. Spam Arcane Blast on the bear, since it has stacking damage, after the bear uses Hibernate, it is really easy to kill her. Equalize your health with the next pet, and with a lucky miss, you will get it down, as well. The last one is easy with two pets.
Good luck!

For those who does not have mechanical type pet to go against Grizzle, I would recommend a snake, for me I have a emerald Boa, have it with Poison Fang, Hiss & Vicious Fang, start off hiss to lower his speed, then Poison Fang, and Vicious Fang, after the 3rd round, Grizzle will go sleep and regen health, and with the poison dot and Vicious Fang damage combine it will outcome his regen rate and kill him

Very doubtful and scared I started the battle with no mechanical in my team ('cause I have none high lvl enough)
lvl 25 Lil' Tarecgosa
Arcane Blast/Wild Magic/Arcane Explosion
First use Wild Magic to make your Arcane Blast hit more and I killed the bear with about half the hp left on me while he was hibernating. Next he sent the mechanical which put me to sleep for 2 rounds so I switched.
lvl 25 Tiny Shale Spider
Burn/Poison Spit/Stoneskin
First use Poison Spit and then Burn him down. Tho I died before I killed it completely (because they resurrect from dead)
lvl 25 rare Strand Crawler
Surge/Healing Wave/Whirlpool
Use Whirlpool (takes 3 rouds to hit) and Surge. Think I used one Healing Wave before the enemy died and it wasn't even a close match.
So total: One pet died, two with half the hp left :D
Tried second time and died
pitifully because the bear's first hit stuns. Apparently it missed me the first time which was crucial in the whole fight. So GG RNG.

After all the comments on how hard this guy is, I expected to be here for a while but I got him first go! I had Nexus Whelpling first who got the bear very low quickly with Arcane storm/Mana surge, and the bear hibernated for 2 rounds, so I switched out to my Ashwing Moth and used Cocoon Strike which hits once and then cocoons, so when the bear came OUT of hibernate his first shot didn't hit me at all. Then I finished off the bear with the moth. The moth got the mechanostrider pet down a fair bit and then died, then I brought out my Phoenix Hatchling and used Immolation, healing when available and Burn every other shot, and killed both the Mechanostrider and the lasher. I came out of it with both my Nexus Whelpling and my Phoenix Hatchling at half health. After struggling with all the other Northrend bosses with that pet combo (my main faves), switching in and out pets when I failed, I expected Major Payne to be rather difficult but I seem to have the perfect combo to beat his trio. Hope this helps someone.

What is working for me is a Clockwork Gnome and a fast Nether Faerie Dragon sp 325, faster than all of Payne's.
Clockwork Gnome Metal Fist, Repair, and Build Turret
Nether Faerie Dragon Arcane Blast, Life Exchange, and Cyclone or Moonfire
Leveling Pet
Two ways to start this, with the stun hit your leveling pet will take no damage, then remove it right away. The second is to start with the Gnome. Build Turret, Repair, and Build Turret. Then hit with Metal Fist till bear is dead. When the gnome dies, if you didn't start with it, put in the leveling pet and remove right away. Put in the Nether Faerie Dragon and use Arcane Blast till you need Life Exchange (the reason for using a fast one). You should be able to finish with Arcane Blast.

I've managed to make a 2 pets team for this trainer after a lot of attempts.
1) Leveling pet. It must either:
- sustain at least 450-500 damage, 500 is better.
- Survive the first damage (Deflection-like skill, Magic or Mechanical pet).
- Or you can just escape the fight, heal your pets and try again until he uses stun instead of rampage as first attack
2) Cogblade Raptor (Batter, Overtune, Exposed Wounds)
3) Flayer Youngling (Blitz, Deflection, Kick)
Make sure your pets have high speed, my raptor has 305 while the flayer 325
The main problem with Major Payne is that the fights are not scripted, so you can't just make a failsafe 2pet strategy. Even when i had this group it took me several attempts before being able to complete the fight (and crits and misses didn't help...). I'm not sure wheter its attacks are used on certain triggers (like life lost, or enemy's life) but it's not scripted (like the elemental trainers or the celestial tournament) so i wasn't able to predict when he'd use a certain attack. He didn't use the strongest pets attacks whenever they were ready.
- Start with the leveling pet, he'll either be stunned or take the first rampage attack
- Swap with Cogblade Raptor and use Exposed Wounds then Batter. When the bear has 300 hp or so, use overtune (make sure to kill with 1 hit or if he's hibernating he'll be able to heal the damage away).
It's very important, though not a must, to have Overtune up when the Beakmaster comes out because you need at least 3-4 turns of Exposed Wounds after the raptor dies and there's the risk you won't be able to apply it twice (for example if you get stunned by shock and awe and then battered to death). In case you can't manage to use overtune to kill the bear, use it on the first turn after Beakmaster comes out
- By using overtune your raptor will be faster than the Beakmaster for the next 2 turns, he probably won't survive more than 3 turns though. Make sure exposed wounds is up with at least 4 turns when the raptor dies. Sadly, the shock and awe stun can break everything here.
- Take the Flayer Youngling out and use kick and blitz, use deflection when he uses wind-up. Since you can't predict (i think) when he uses Shock and Awe, i just used it to avoid getting too much damage. Often he doesn't use the 2nd wind-up mode but he leaves itself with the buff and uses other attacks. I just use deflection on the turn after he uses wind-up, and kick on the round after (if it's not on CD, i think it's better to use kick whenever ready rather than keeping it for when he has the wind-up buff, except if he used wind-up and deflection just comes out of CD, then you can dealy kick...except if you can just kill him...well, just do what you think it's best :P i'm just giving advices here rather than a per-turn strategy)
- It shouldn't take much to kill the beakmaster. To kill the flower pet you can continue with this strategy: kick whenever ready and blitz.
You can either use deflection whenver is ready or to soak Entangling roots, in some fights he will use roots as soon as it's ready, other times he won't use it at all, but the lash attack deals very little damage and it's barely a threat (still, i lost once because i didn't use deflection at all since he didn't use Entangling roots. But it was bad luck, i think it's better to keep deflection for Entangling roots).
Make sure to use Deflection the round after he casts Entangling roots, not before (entangling roots activates the round after it's casted, the cast itself can't be avoided with deflection)

My upgraded spring rabbit soloed the bear and the mechanical and took the elemental down to half health. Especially on the bear it's amazing because it can take it down without getting hit once. Use flurry, dodge and burrow. First use flurry, the bear will stun but fail because it's a critter. Use dodge, because it's faster it will dodge two turns. Use flurry again. When dodge wears off, burrow. When the rabbit comes up, the damage will force the bear to hibernate, flurry until hibernate wears off, the bear will stun directly after. Just dodge again and flurry to death. On the mechanical, use dodge and burrow to counter most attacks, it's likely to die long before your rabbit's dead. On the elemental do the same, but by that time it will have taken damage and will probably die to it. Use any alright pet to finish off the elemental. Easy win.

Ok so against advice I started with a Beetle (critter). I started with Apocalypse and he tried to stun me, however critters are immune to stuns. I then switched to my Ash Lizard (Beast) and somehow survived Grizzle's attacks and out damaged him. I was then facing Beakmaster with a pretty much dead Ash Lizad, and didn't manage to hit him before I died. Switching to my Pandaren Air Spirit, I managed to kill him without dying myself. He was then left with only Bloom, and two rounds left on Apocalypse. I used my Air Spirit's heal, and died that round, leaving me with my Beetle. I only had to survive a single round before Apocalypse came down and killed Bloom, leaving me the winner.

and the turrets, then I passed while stunned and continued with metal fist. I was able to build one more turret before the gnome died.
Second, I pulled out my
永恒雏龙
, as it was the only pet I had at 25 with any Elemental abilities. I used the elemental ability first, then healed as necessary.
And third was the
欢跃水黾
. It was a choice between that and Gahz'rooki, so I chose the pet with the heals. Finished off the 3rd pet with about half my health left.

It's not really necessary to have a full team of 25 pets, just a strong team, I did this, not easily because I got lucky, with the following pets:
Lil' XT, level 25.
Abilities: Zap, Repair, Tympanic Tantrum.
This little guy pretty much disables Grizzle, Tympanic - Repair - Zap - Tympanic again.
Electrified Razortooth, level 23.
Abilities: Jolt, Paralyzing Shock, Lightning Shield.
Because of the Tympanic Tantrum, Beakmaster will be half of HP at this time of the fight, pop up your Shield, then Paralyzing Shock and he is dead.
Rapana Whelk, level 23.
Abilities: Absorb, Acidic Goo, Dive.
Also Bloom will be kinda low, but because of the heal this one can be pretty hard, use Acidic Goo then Dive, there you go, 800 dmg, if Bloom healed, use Absorb, you'll heal too, and use Acidic Goo everytime it goes off, also Dive everytime you can.
As I said, I got lucky, because at the last attack Bloom instead of killing me healed, and I had the opportunity to kill it before the heal occured, even though, I got many misses during the fight. Having the Razortooth and the Rapana at lvl 25 will be easier and safer.
Good luck and happy taming.

I have given up any hope of using this one to level. RNG forces me to do it 5-6 times regardless. So here is my 99% strat... It might have enough RNG padding to sacrifice a round if you dont wanna forfeit and jiggle the RNG variables table to avoid being stunned by the bear so may be optional to avoid the bear stun.
All rare
1. Gilnean Raven
Keep forfeitting until the bear DOESN'T use the stun move.
Call Darkness, Nocturnal Strike, Alpha Strike over until Nocturnal is off cooldown, use it, should kill bear.
Spam its most useful moves on the 2nd pet til dead.
Move in Fel Flame when Gilnean Rven is dead
Immolate, Conflagrate, Burn, reuse Burn til theres 1 more round til Conflag is off cooldown - use Immolate that round
When Eternal Strider comes in, spam pump
2.

The third pet can be any decent pet really, I like Magical Crawdad because between wish and shell shield, he can be very difficult to kill.
I haven't lost to him yet with this team. The setup is pretty simple, I use Minefield, and then missle until the bear is below 1k health, then use Ion Cannon to finish him. The Mecha-peep will finish him off. Water waveling starts out with Frost shock, then use ice lance twice. If that doesn't finish him off, one more frost shock should. Use Geyser at the start of the Lasher pet, and then frost shock and then ice lance until one of you is dead. Magical Crawdad can easily finish him off.
This is one of the more difficult tamer fights outside of the celetial tournament in my opinion. I easily 2-man all of the pandaria tamers (I use them to level my other pets)

I use this team.
Clockwork Gnome: Railgun and Launch Rocket.
Any Shale Hatchling or Spider with: Burn and Stone Rush.
Huge Toad (or aquatic pet with): Water Jet and Frog Kiss.
For Grizzle: Launch Rocket 4 times depending if you were stunned just pass. Railgun if it survives the two rockets.
For Beakmaster X-225: Railgun until CG dies. Shale Hatchling spams Burn. Stone Rush to switch quicker.
For Bloom: Hatchling should still have a hit or two available with Burn or Stone Rush. Huge Toad Water Jets or Frog Kisses as you wish.
Fel Flame is also a good substitute for a Shale Hatchling with Burn, Immolate and Conflagration.
Possible substitution of Electrified Razortooth with Rip, Blood in the Water, and Lightning Shield for Shale Hatchling to level a 19+ pet in the Huge Toad spot.

Beat this guy with this group:
Anodized Robo Cub for Grizzle, just keep pounding while he sleeps
Cinder Kitten for Beakmaster - Every hit from the beakmaster is weak against this elemental
Bandicoon for Bloom, just keep using powerball then tongue lash and he goes away quickly

This has been a reliable combination for me:
Clockwork Gnome (Turret, Repair, Metal Fist until Turret is available. Pass if stunned) until CG dies.
Electrified Razortooth (Lightning Shield, Paralyzing Shock, Jolt, then use abilities when they become available) until ER dies.
Magical Crawdad (Shell Shield, Surge. Maintain Shield, use Wish if he gets to half health, and fill with Surge). I started out leveling MC on this fight.

If you are just getting to Major Payne, then you should just beat him so you can move on to more trainers, other people have suggested good strategies.
However, if you've been using this guy for Pet Supplies (trying to get flawless stones), and in the process trying to level pets, then there's good news depending on your decision of Celestial Tournament pets... Chi-Chi. Finally, a pet that can take out both of his first two pets and leave a chance to tag in a leveling pet.
Use Fire Quills, Tranquility and Ethereal.
For Grizzle, he often starts with Bash, then hits a few times, then hibernates and starts all over. So start with Ethereal to try to dodge Bash. If you he doesn't use Bash it's not a big deal, you'll just have to pass on the turn Chi-Chi is stunned, if he even uses it. Then keep Tranquility up, and whittle him down. On the turn he comes out of Hibernate, try to dodge Bash again (he's much more likely to use it now). It will take a little while as you aren't hitting him very hard, but unless he crits like a mo-fo, he won't hurt you that much, and you'll still have your flying racial...
And then Beakmaster X-225, this pet is the one that is going to make any strategy not work. He doesn't follow a strict pattern, and that's what makes this guy dangerous. But the combo of a dodge type move, a HoT and a pretty strong elemental move is what makes Chi-Chi shine here. Fire Quills will make quick work of this guy, and with Chi-Chi's flying racial it should always hit at least twice, so keep Tranquility up at all times. You'll find yourself going below 50% here every so often, but then Tranquility will bump you back up and Chi-Chi's racial reactivates. Unfortunately the best time to use Ethereal is to try to dodge the second Wind-Up (the one that damages). There's no pattern for it, but I find that about 80% of the time it happens 2 turns after the first Wind-Up. Getting past Beakmaster more than barely alive takes luck no matter what pet you use here, let alone a pet that also took out Grizzle, but you should only need luck at most twice using Chi-Chi.
Being able to take both Grizzle and Beakmaster out with one pet lets you easily level a pet with Bloom. However, unless you get really luck (and getting past the first two with one pet has used all of your luck at this point), you need the pet to be level 15-ish. Fortunately, if you are getting Pet Supply bags, you've probably already won the bag from Winterspring, Deadwind Pass and Shadowmoon Valley. If you started leveling a new pet, you'll have a level 17ish pet at this point, so all should be well.
For Bloom, same strategy as before. Keep Tranquility up and hit Bloom, and use Ethereal to block the damage from Entangling Roots. After the first Entangling Roots is blocked, switch in your leveling pet. Any level 15ish pet should be able to handle a 3-hit Lash (unless all 3 crit, and this fight is full of possible bad luck so it could happen). Even if it hits too hard against a mechanical, its racial should save it. If Bloom uses Soothing Mist, then awesome, but don't count on it. Immediately switch back to Chi-Chi and win the pet battle.
There's no harm in being safe here, so bring a back-up aquatic pet to finish off Bloom in case things went bad against Beakmaster and Chi-Chi dies against Bloom. However, I have solo-ed Major Payne 5 times now with Chi-Chi, and I think it's a pretty solid pet to use here. And I'm definitely glad I chose Chi-Chi first.
And remember, this strategy is specifically for leveling a pet, if that's not what you're doing there are much better/faster ways to beat this guy. While always tagging in a leveling pet and using the Safari Hat and +25% food, I personally get the pet supplies from Deadwind Pass, then Winterspring, then Shadowmoon Valley, then here. Then I beat the guy in Zul'Drak, then the guy in Deepholm, and finally get the pet supplies from Uldum. One of the 11 pet supply dailies from Pandaria will put that pet at level 25. Five Pandaria dallies (with the boosts) will put a level 1 pet at level 25, so you completely level three pets a day. The +50% food, which stacks with the +25% food, lets you do 3 without the extra 2 dailies, but you only get at most 2 a week.
Just my two cents on this fight. I have always had trouble with this one before I got Chi-Chi, so hopefully this helps someone else as well.

Fastest way to use Payne as a daily leveling quest is with the following:
Lil' Bling - SMCKTHAT.EXE, Gift Package, Make it Rain
Electrified Razortooth - Rip, Blood in the Water, Lightning Shield
3rd - anyone you want to level, recommend higher levels in case of bad rng
Open against Grizzle with Bling's Rain then smack until dead, use Gift Package if you're getting low. Typically has enough for two or three rounds against Beakmaster. Refresh rain to add DOTs to him. Biggest goal here is to let Bling soak the wind up shot, then you're in the clear. Bring out your razortooth and immediately use lightning shield, then rip/blood. Beak will kill himself on your shield and you'll kill his failsafe in the same round when you use blood.
For the 3rd you'll probably have razor still up, if lucky you'll be able to get another rip/blood in and can swap to a low pet. If not just use the razor until it dies and swap to your third for 2-3k pet XP.

I have put together a fairly decent 2 pet strat that works a majority of the time (barring horrible RNG). Menageria Custodian - 25 rare - with overtune, shock and awe and lock-on - to take out Grizzle
Sinister squashling - 25 rare - with stun seed, leech seed, and poison lash for Beakmaster
Leveling Pet
if your mech isn't dead when beak comes out swap for the squashling and keep him in reserve to help finish off bloom if necessary - swap your low level during the bloom fight
Happy battling

I did it without using any fancy pets. It's pets I tamed as I was leveling my first lv25 pets.
I used a Rare lv25 Forest Moth for the Bear. He mostly uses Bash first so use your Cocoon first and after his "nap" he uses Bash again so use you Cocoon there. A pet that is also very effective is a Rare lv25 Fel Flame. The dots help ALOT.
I also used my Rare lv25 Fel Flame against the Chicken. Make sure you use Immolate before Conflagrate and then just Burn to finish him off.
I used a Rare lv25 Small Frog against Bloom. I just used Water Jet and healed when I needed to.
Oh, and always make sure that you start the battles with the right pets so that you don't lose a turn.

Grizzle: I used a spider with Poison Spit, Brittle Webbing, and Spiderling Swarm. Just spit and web until either A) Your spider is about to die or B) he goes to hibernate. Then Swarm. Works everytime, and spiders are easy to get.
Beakmaster: I use an Electrified Razortooth - there may be a better option but any elemental ought to do the trick.
Bloom: Use a toad or a frog - easy to get one and just spam Frog Kiss. You're likely to get at least one polymorph, which should be enough to finish this guy off.

I have another pet leveling tactic, in case you want to get some exp from this fight while getting your pet supplies. The Chi-Chi method I posted earlier still works for me, but the RNG with Beakmaster was just getting to me and not being worth it, so I switched it up a little. In my experience, no matter what battle pet you use against Beakmaster, there is always a chance of failure. It's Shock and Awe has a much higher chance to stun than most, and the crit rate on its Wind Up is a little ridiculous. Even against an Elemental (a double-counter to a Mechanical), Beakmaster can still take it out in about 3 moves.
Azure Crane Chick (Quills, Healing Stream, Surge)
Phoenix Hatchling (Burn, Immolate, Conflagrate)
Leveling Pet
Grizzle: Start with your leveling pet. Take a hit and switch to Azure Crane Chick (if you want to use a level 1 pet, Grizzle must start with its stun, 50% chance, there's a stable master around the corner). I use P/P breed here because of it's ridiculously high power stat, but I think any breed will work. Use Quills until Grizzle dies, heal when you've lost about 400 health and then on cooldown. Bad rng with Quills can make the fight go on long enough that you lose your flying racial. If that happens, switch to Surge and heal on cooldown, switching back to Quills if you get you flying racial back.
Beakmaster: Switch to Phoenix Hatchling. Immolate, Conflagrate and Burn Beakmaster to death. Being faster than Beakmaster helps a lot here. Unless Beakmaster uses Wind Up, stuns with Shock and Awe, and then crits with Wind Up, Phoenix Hatchling should be fine.
Bloom: Immolate and Burn until Phoenix Hatchling dies, get a Conflagrate in if you can. Phoenix Hatchling could win, but probably won't. Switch back to Azure Crane Chick. Surge Bloom to death, heal as needed. Surge makes losing your Flying racial irrelevant.
I have been using this tactic for weeks now with about a 90% success rate on the first try, which is the highest success rate I've had against Major Payne. I find that having a high success rate against Beakmaster really makes or breaks this fight. I hope this helps someone out, and these pets should be much more easily acquired than Chi-Chi.

Managed to get lucky using:

(25) Mr. Bigglesworth
(25) Feline Familiar
Failed twice, but when the beakmaster X-255 drops his wind-up, I just used Ice Barrier and swapped over to feline familiar. From there is was an easy sweep.
I don't expect things will be getting much easier from this point onwards.

2. Rare level 25 P/S Corefire Imp: Burn, Flamethrower, Cauterize.
3. Rare level 25 H/S Mojo (frog): Water Jet, Cleansing Rain.

Mojo killed the third pet (elemental) in 6 rounds.

Adding to the experience pool on this 'boss', I tried this a couple of days back just to see what the outlook was and Grizz seemed unbeatable with my then-team. I fast-levelled a Blue Clockwork Rocket Bot from 1 to 25, in the course of which I went to Timeless Isle and caught an Electrified RazorTooth ( did not have a levelled elemental pet) - he went down 2 levels to 23 in the capture as usual. I already had a rare Golden Civet as aquatic for Bloom. I was sure I was not ready with a 23 in the team but thought I would see if the Bot would work against the mighty Grizz. It was a walk in the park. The Bot just destroyed the cutie bear so fast just with batter, toxic smoke and sticky grenade that I wondered if the beast was bugged. The rest was clean-up. Thanks, guys, for the tips on this site which I found very helpful.

EASY STRAT FOR LEVELING YOUR PETS! or just beating Major Pain, and unlike most it does not involve pets that are that all that rare!
My Line up:
(Any pet you want to level or sub in)
被感染的松鼠
凤凰宝宝
First off start the round with the pet you want to lvl, this pet can be lvl 1 because
灰毛
will always just stun it, allowing you to swap it out to the
被感染的松鼠
.
Use
狂乱之击
and be sure to keep it up, this makes the cute lil squirrel hit like a truck! Spam
疾病之咬
and just watch Grizzle die! Grizzle will usually get 2-3 hits in before he hibernates, but with the squirrels health pool he should be able to eat them, you can use
吞噬
just to it keep healed up a bit, you just need to make it through Grizzle with the Squirrel not using his undead rez. You'll be surprized how fast this Squirrel kills Grizzle compared to most other pets!
As soon as Grizzle dies swap to
凤凰宝宝
and apply
献祭
, then use
焚烧
and spam
燃烧
while the other ones are on cool down. This should make short work of
鹰嘴大师X-225型
!
Now
花花
should be easily killed with your remaining pets,
凤凰宝宝
and
被感染的松鼠
!
Happy lvling!

My own "not so rare" team and skill setup which I've managed to win 2 in row with:
1)
Blue Clockwork Rocket Bot
Mechanical
(Batter, Minefield, Sticky Grenade)
2)
Ashstone Core
Elemental
(Burn, Stoneskin, Crystal Prison)
3)
Spirebound Crab
Aquatic
(Surge, Renewing Mists, Shell Shield)
I confess, I've levelled my Spirebound Crab and Eternal Strider to 25 first, then I bought pets 1 & 2 from AH for around 1k prices as 25. Because I've tried with my own uncommon (green) pets and it didn't do any good against this Payne's epic cheat hax pets. Hence it was the only choice, but it worked after 2nd try, I re-arranged skillset and managed to beat his ass! And man it was a blast!
(harhar!)
Anyways, here we go!
Start with pure damage with your mechanical and I suggest using Mine and Granade like skills of Mechanical pets when the Bear (Grizzle) is in sleep and regen mode, so when he wakes up he eats the damage and the one after that jumps into the minefield, gives you a nice advantage. Don't switch pets if you are stunned, just click "Pass" and hope for the best, otherwise you'll eat tons of extra damage on the switched pet. Just wait and keep damaging, he dies easy against a mechanical pet anyways.
Then when his second pet (Beakmaster, Mechanical) comes. Don't change your pet, do as much damage as you can with your Mechanical, if you can lay down a second minefield, even better, but probably he won't let you, so at least do as much damage as you can.
After the inevitable death of your own Mechanical, start with your Elemental, don't rush to damage, first use your damage reduction, then save your stun/cc, because if you stun, he immediately changes pets and you'll lose your advantage. So, just keep damaging and renew your damage reduction. After the Mechanical's resurrection, kill him for good.
And again, do as much damage as you can when his last pet (Bloom, Elemental) comes, it will focus on healing itself so you'll have quite nice time to do extra damage, switch pets when he roots you or casts heal on itself. By the way you can now use stun/cc when he does not have a hot on itself.
When your aquatic comes into game (and I strongly suggest a tanking aquatic with self heal and damage reduction abilities!), first cast your damage reduction, next turn, your self heal if it's hot, or save your big self heal for -%50 hp and start to damage, always keep your damage reduction up by re-casting it when you have 1 stack left on you. It will be slow but steady and safe and you will win with probably 2 pets alive with this tactic.
Good luck and good battles Tamers! :)

After
11 victories (15 now :)
quite a lot of victories in a row i believe
this is a very reliable team to carry a low level (10+) pet
in this daylie (worst i faced was a lvl 10 mechanic that got
failsaved
in his round against Bloom, but 2 lvl 7 also passed the test) or to go for the
achievement
with the
Elekk Plushie
:D
1)
Lil'Bling
= 2,2,1
2) Carry pet (lvl 10+)
3)
Toothy
= 1,1,2 (but i believe any pet with this combo or similar will do.)
Update to WoD:
Ironclaw Scuttler
or
Kelp Scuttler
can be captured at high level and with skills 1,?,2 can down Toothhy on 2 hits
Grizzle:
Start with
Lil'Bling
using Extra Plating followed by Make It Rain (pass the stun round if needed) and go Inflation.
The fight usually ends with Bling (at about half health) casting a 2nd Make It Rain during the 2nd round of the sleepy bear.
Beakmaster:
Lil'Bling
re-cast Extra Plating followed by Inflation (you used Make It Rain last round to down the bear)
If Bling is not stunned during the fight he will probably die in the same round as Beakmaster (sometimes Beakmaster will outlast Bling for 1 round. One fight Bling got to hit Bloom once, hurray for the double damage!)
Note:
The main decision you have to make here is whether or not cast another Make It Rain: the way i see it, you should always let your enemy with the double damage debuff, so if by casting another
Make It Rain
you risk dropping the debuff, simply go
Inflation
again.
- If your Bling dies before Beakmaster, you may use your carry pet to finish Beakmaster (he should be
taking double damage
the next two rounds, so i recommend this approach), or you can bring
Toothy
and use Surge.
Bloom:
Note
:
Don't bring your carry pet after Bloom casts
Entangling Roots
, or he will take high damage and
stay rooted in the fight
for 2 more rounds.
After
Toothy
enters the fight it should be over in 3 or 4 rounds.
Open with RIP, followed by Blood In The Water, and finish Bloom with one (or maybe two) Surges
Hope you guys enjoy this daylie from now on ;)

Just got done messing around with elemental and aquatic pets for this fight. I ended up benching the aquatics and using 3 elementals, one of which was a 23, the others 25. Trying to get
佩波
to 25. The two I used to help him out (and ended up paying the ultimate price for it) were a rare 25
吓人芜菁
and a rare 25
翠雾舞者
....Here's what happened.
First off, Payne's team, all three of them, hit harder than many of the NPCs on the teams in Pandaria. I suppose that the fact that he is in Lich King Land and
农夫倪石
is in level 90 farmland does not phase the brutality of the pets they use. IMO, he owns the hardest combination of pets to comfortably wipe the floor with in the game.....Lots of RNG...Lots of crits.
They went in this order.
翠雾舞者
:
蒸汽喷吐
,
祈雨舞
, and
酸雨
吓人芜菁
:
潮汐奔涌
,
汲血之种
, and
生命之根的子嗣
佩波
:
投石
,
地突刺
, and
岩石弹幕
翠雾舞者
started with Acid Rain for the damage buff and then immediately into Steam Vent because at that time,
灰毛
heals in miraculous fashion and awakens as if he wasn't even touched, but that Steam Vent definitely puts a dent in the healing as he sleeps. Jademist killed off Grizzle with about 300 health remaining, then, valiantly, soaked up all the damage from
震慑和敬畏
thanks to
鹰嘴大师X-225型
, squealed like a wimp, and died in shame. Pathetic.
So in came
佩波
, for what I thought was to be one turn, but decided to cast all three abilities, Stoneshot first, then, hoping for a stun I kept him in for Rupture, and when stun didn't happen, as it never seems to, he cast Rock Barrage which was the point where Beakmaster began taking a lot of damage. Pebble sat out and Terrible Turnip, whose abilities I really don't like, came in. Here, though, he had two abilities that really worked well with Pebble's Rock Barrage; Leech Seed and Son of the Root. Two turns into his entrance, Beakmaster is still taking damage from Pebble, Leech Seed is on him (while healing the Turnip as he rest safely underground), and Son of the Root. Beakmaster was dead (the second time), when the final Son of the root shot hit him.
Turnip arose with almost all health......and then got his *@% kicked by
花花
. I knew he was a wimp.... Before his demise, he was able to produce a respectable dent in Bloom's health, but Bloom was healing for a long time and the CDs on two of Turnips three abilities, the two strongest, left him casting Tidal wave a few times before he was exited.
So all that was left was Pebble. Bloom had a bit over 800 health left. Rock Barrage first followed by Rupture (still no stun) and Stoneshot a few times did the trick. So my L23 pet finished off on a high note like those happy endings that....you know.....The sundaes you get at Friendly's.....Don't be perverse....lol
While I wrote this I had some thoughts. Being that Beakmaster and Bloom both have multi-shot abilities (Batter and Lash), replacing Turnip for a pet with a mitigation ability like
沙尘暴
or Alterac Brew Pup's
憨头憨脑
would be a really good switch. Actually that might be the best one to replace Turnip with because he can cast
雪崩
on Beakmaster. Ouch! 618 damage on a normal hit. It could possibly one-shot Beakmaster if it crits....So good luck.....I hate turnips and Jademist screams like a 5 year old sperm whale! LOL

Blackfuse Bombling: Flame Jet, Burn and more Burn
Spirebound Crab: Whirlpool and Renewing Mists (Might not even be needed) and dps'd him down with Surge.

Ok so this is what I used, have used it a few fights now and has worked good, but i can see if RNG is bad it losing sometimes.
lvl 20 Rare Anubisath, going up against grizzly... Anubisath hits like a truck against him, but has only 50% chance of hitting, not sure if it will go up as he levels, but will 3 shot him roughly at this level, I'v seen crits do over 1k dmg. The bear will start out with a stun move so you use deflection as first move to get that out of way, then simple Demolish untill its dead, don't waste turns on other skills as the bear hits hard to. If RNG is good you can kill the bear and do some damage on next guy which is the Mechanical.
lvl 25 rare Crimson Moth, personally I just used what I had and this was what I had but worked fairly well... the moth doesn't do high damage on the breakmaster but seems to take less then normal damage. Always use Cacoon Strike when its up, Moth Dust when its up, and Alpha strike the rest of the time..... Crimson Moth is weakest out of my whole team but its best i had, and may not last the whole fight against Breakmaster as he has a regular attack that does ALOT of damage.
lvl 25 Rare Magical Crawdad, this pet is amazing and works quite well despite not having any advantage to the mob types... Basically use Surge, Renewing Mists and Wish... Always use Wish when its up, try and always keep renewing mists always up unless its getting to the end of the fight and your both pretty low in which case better to just surge and hope for the best.
Both Anubisath and Magical Crawdad are both really good, I would replace crimson moth with something better if you have it but it did ok on breakmaster.

I used a different strategy than most would I think. My pets used were:
Clockwork Gnome: 25 (Rare, all he is I think)
Gilnean Raven: 25 (uncommon)
Emperor Crab: 25 (Rare)
To start out against his Beast I sent in my Gnome and immediately built a turret and for two rounds after used his Metal Fist ability, although it didn't hit particularly hard it did the job, after that his beast hibernated so I sent in my Gilnean Raven and immediately used Call Darkness followed by Nocturnal Strike which finished him off through hibernate.
After this I kept my raven in and used Alpha Strike once followed by another Nocturnal Strike, I made sure to use Call Darkness again when it came up. My raven got quite low and I switched in my Emperor Crab (The MVP) I immediately used surge which killed him initially, I then proceeded to use two rounds to get up Shell Shield and Renewing Mists and was able to finish him off by using Surge twice.
When the elemental came out it was all down to RNG and getting lucky, i made sure to keep up Renewing Mists and Shell Shield at all times for this fight while spamming surge whenever I had the chance, although the Elemental did heal quite a lot with it's 5 round heal I eventually managed to kill it off with surge.
Overall the fight took me about two tries and honestly I only won because RNG was on my side, had a few abilities not missed I would have died by the time the mechanical was around easily.
Good luck out there!

Thanks to the comments here I was able to come up with a team to take down Major Payne fairly easily.
Clockwork Gnome (25) Metal Fist, Repair, Turret
Water Waveling (22 - my levelling pet) Ice Lance, Frost Shock, Geyser
Toothy (25) Rip, Surge, Blood in the Water
Open with the Gnome, build a turret, hit pass on the stun and Metal Fist til Turret off CD. Continue Metal fist (with two turrets built) until Grizz hibernates - use Repair. While I was repairing my two turrets kept his health down. When we both finished healing I finished him off with Metal Fist.
Built a turret when Beakmaster ran out, then swapped to Waveling. Cast Geyser, Frost Shock to apply chill and then finished him with ice lance.
Swapped to Toothy when Bloom came out. Rip for the Debuff, Blood in the water (hit for around 890) then 2x Surge finished him off.
This was the easiest I have managed to take down Major Payne - hope it helps someone!

Grizzle doesn't always start with the stun. But when he does, since it is "damageless," just forfeit. Since you took no damage you don't lose the 10% health per pet.

Lil' Bling - 1-2-1
Anubisath Idol - 1-2-1
Leveling pet or Elekk Plushie
Start with your leveling pet or Plushie to soak up the first bash (and possible stun). Lil' Bling made good work of Grizzle and BeackMaster X-225 afterwards and went a few rounds against Bloom before Anubisath Idol had to step up and finish everything off.

I accidentally did this with two pets. (Thank you, RNG!)
Lil' Bling: SMCKTHAT.EXE, Extra Plating, Make it Rain
Syd the Squid: Water Jet, Bubble, Whirlpool
I had Anubisath Idol for backup: Crush, Stoneskin, Deflection
Started with Extra Plating, then Make it Rain. Bling got stunned, so I passed. Then SMCK until the bear was dead.
Since Bling had 1/3 health left, I kept him against the mechanostrider. Same set. Kept up Make it Rain and Extra Plating, used SMCK. Bling actually perma-died when the mech died for the first time.
Brought out Syd With Make it Rain still going, Syd perma-killed the mech with one or two Water Jets.
Then it was just Bubble (once), Whirlpool (twice), and lots of Water Jets to kill the flower. Ended the fight with Syd at 1397/1546 health.

For those looking for a way to beat this trainer for
An Awfully Big Adventure
, I found a way to two-pet it without any issues or (I assume, as of this writing) a lot of RNG.
Lil' Bling
(Smackthat.exe, Extra Plating, Make it Rain) and
Pandaren Water Spirit
(Water Jet, Whirlpool, Geyser)
I opened with
Bling
and set up
Make it Rain
and then
Extra Plating
. Then
Smackthat
until the first pet is dead, and repeat on the second. Bling should manage to kill the second pet as well and be able to put up
Make it Rain
on the third, the elemental. Bring out your
Water Spirit
and apply
Whirpool
. Depending on how the fight has gone, you may want to apply
Geyser
as well. After that, simply
Water Jet
until dead!
UPDATE
When legion comes out, this strategy in its current form will no longer work due to geyser and whirlpool being changed to share the same slot. If you need to get this particular part of the achievement done, try to do so before the Legion pre-patch drops. It's definitely possible to do this strat with only one of those abilities, but it relies a lot more on RNG and Bling surviving into the third fight.

It took me a ton of combinations for this one to do the Big Adventure with Elekk Plushie.
However I found a combination with the pets I had. I hope this helps someone else.
I started with Clockwork Gnome - 1-1-1
Lead off with turret. fist until the bear goes into his healing sleep. Use repair. Build turret and fist until he dies.
Continue to fist and turret until Gnome dies.
Next I brought in Thundertail Flapper 1-2-1
Start off with Lightning shield. Then Thunderbolt. Tail Slap until his mechanopeep dies.
Keep lightning shield up and Tail Slap until Bloom dies.
Elekk Plushie never needs to be in to get credit for the fights in the Big Adventure so he can just stand by and be cute. :)

Just did this today with Sunreaver Micro Sentry and Lil Bling.
(If he starts with stun reset the fight)
1 Plating
2 Fel Imolate
3 Thunderstorm
(Stun) > Swap to lil Bling
4 Make it Rain
5 Inflation
6 Make It rain
(Swap to sunreaver)
7 Thunderstorm
8 Fel Imolate
fight ends with Sunreaver diying for the 1st time and all pets live.

For An Awfully Big Adventure I used a Clockwork Gnome (1, 1, 1) and a Tolai Hare (2, 2, 1). Build turrets is the key in the first two fights and you have to use Repair when the bear hibernates. The rabbit can take out the last pet with no problem.

The 2 pets I wound up using are Son of Animus and Magical Crawdad
Son of Animus
Use Extra Plating then Siphon Anima every CD, spam Metal Fist. Was able to beat both Grizzle and Beakmaster with that. Then it dies to Bloom.
Magical Crawdad
Keep Shell Shield up, use Wish when HP dips low, and spam Surge til victory.

I have to admit I like many was also finding this trainer to be a big road block but I found a team comp that has worked for me and sense then I've not lost a fight against him for the dailies.
Grizzle | Beast | Bash, Hibernate, Rampage
1806 HP | 276 Speed | 276 Attack
For this bear I use the
Gilnean Raven
. Start off with Call Darkness, if Bash miss's you're good, if it hits pass the next turn to remove the one round stun, then use Nocturnal Strike. This thus far has knocked Grizzle at or below half health. Then spam Alpha Strike until hes down, it will break through Hibernate. If you don't have the Gilnean Raven than you can get a normal
Crow
as it has the same move set.
Alternatively Mechanical pets can also work well, the
Tiny Harvester
has worked for me, but not at the success rate the Raven has as theres still a chance your bot will be downed before Grizzle is, where as the Raven/Crows being flying have a resistance against Beast moves.
Beakmaster X-225 | Mechanical | Batter, Shock and Awe, Wind-Up
1481 HP | 305 Speed | 305 Attack
Start doing damage with the pet you currently have out, if you're like me (and using the Raven/Crow) most of the time you'll still have a round of Call Darkness up and Nocturnal Strike now off cool down, use it to get some good damage going then Alpha Strike until your pet's downed. If you're using anything else, still smack it around until your pets downed.
Now you want to use an Elemental, ones with a skill that adds a burn to the target and other skills that get a boost from burned has worked well.
Hatespark the Tiny
is a good example but any Elemental pet that can burn then roast pretty much two shots Beakmaster.
Fel Flame
is another good example pet you can use.
Bloom | Elemental | Entangling Roots, Lash, Soothing Mists
1672 HP | 305 Speed | 276 Attack
Once again keep out your Elemental and continue the Burn/Roast on it, you can get Bloom down to about half health or more until your elemental finally goes down (although I've had times where we beat em at this point as well) At this point any High level pet will work, I use a
Nether Faerie Dragon
, and just spam Moonfire/Arcane Blast. Any Aquatic pet will pretty much one shot Bloom at this point.

Scyllaxs
Darkmoon Zeppelin (1, 2, 2)
and
Anubisath Idol (1, 1, 1)
worked best for me. As the third pet I used the Elekk Plushie.
I soloed the first 2 pets with the Darkmoon Zeppelin and used Anubisath Idol for the third pet.
I started with
Decoy
(if I got stunned in the start I restarted the battle)
and then I just spammed
Missile
till the first pet died.
When the second pet joined the battle I kept on spamming
Missile
and when my pet would die in like 2 turns I used
Decoy
and kept on using
Missile
. When the enemy pet revived I used
Explode
.
To kill the third enemy pet I used Anubisath Idol. I started with a
Sandstorm
and kept spamming
Crush
and using
Sandstorm
when off cooldown. Also, when I saw a
root debuff
on my pet I used
Deflection
.
Hope this can help someone.

Tried all the 2 pet combinations possible for the Plushie achievement but I found I only had one of the pets for most of the 2 pet strats.
Reckon I got a dash of luck when I beat him the minute I varied from the strats with my Cogblade Raptor (2,1,1) and my Dark Phoenix Hatchling (1,2,1) . just abaout with 43 hp left on my phoenix when I killed the last pet.
Really reckon it was luck, but said I'd post it here in case it helps someone else. Let me know if you've found a viable strat in this :)

I won't comment on Major Payne's pets here, because there is a comment specifically dedicated to that. What I will do is relay what worked especially well for me in defeating him.
His name is extremely apt. He is a major pain in the you know where. But I beat him using the following three pets.
People say to have a leveling pet or something that can soak a stun in your battle slot, but I tried that and failed 2 out of 3 times. So I rearranged to this:
小布
(rare)
魔法扫帚
(rare)
凤凰宝宝
(rare)
I started with
小布
and used
金币雨
Swap to your phoenix hatchling, use
献祭
Swap to your broom. Use
旋紧发条
and
猛击
until the bear is dead. Use both skills on Beakmaster until your broom dies. Bring back the Phoenix. Heal as you see appropriate for the phoenix, keep it alive as long as possible!
Heal, then burn until dead. Reuse Immolate if you have to, though I recommend waiting until Bloom comes out. Once Beakmaster dies, and Bloom is brought in to battle, use Immolate then burn until your hatchling is dead.
Bring back Lil'Bling. Use Make it Rain, then Smack until it's dead.
This has worked 9/10 times for me, and I can't even begin to tell you how many different combos I used before this one worked.
Happy battles!

You only need 2 pets,
Blossoming Ancient
and
Chrominius
. Just use
Sunlight
on cooldown, keep up
Photosynthesis
and use
Ironbark
as a filler. If he
Bashes
you, just pass. Use
Grizzle's
Hibernate
as an excuse to reapply
Photosynthesis
and use your
Sunlight
, then spam
Ironbark
the rest of the time. By the time
Bloom
is dead on the back row,
Beakmaster X-225
will have revived and died again on the back row. At some point in there, switch in your leveling pet and use any random ability during
Hibernate
, then switch back. Let
Sunlight
fade after the back 2 pets are dead, switch in
Chrominius
during the next
Hibernate
,
Howl
>
Bite
>
Surge of Power
and he's dead. You can try this with
Singing Sunflower
, but it doesn't have the immortality ability
Ironbark
so it wouldn't work as well. Spend the money on the
Blossoming Ancient
, he's worth it.

I used:
仿真机械霜鬃野猪
vs Grizzle (My LMF was a speed breed and got the jump on Grizzle's stun with Decoy, then Missiled him to death. I didn't even need to use repair but that's there too for backup). This fight was extremely easy thanks to Decoy and my Frostboar finished the fight with 75% health remaining.
熔火幼犬
vs Beakmaster. Start with Puppies of the Flame (the cutest power ever), then use Flamethrower until he dies. Cauterize is a good middle option if necessary, but it shouldn't be.
I used a rare
金钱豹蛙
with Water Jet, Healing Wave, and Frog Kiss. If your frog dies you still have two fully alive pets for backup.

This trainer can be duo-ed, if you want to use him to level pet, by
天灵蛾
and
熔火幼犬
.
Start with
天灵蛾
, open with
茧缚之击
, this is to prevent your moth from being stunned by
猛击
that his bear pet Grizzle use.
Follow with
召唤闪电
, to hit the bear hard and finish with
切削之风
, which will trigger hard hitting Lightning Storm bonus damage and kill the bear.
Now for Beakmaster, switch to
熔火幼犬
, use
灸灼
if it get hit by hard-hitting
旋紧发条
, otherwise, just spam
烈焰喷射
until the Beakmaster dead.
For the last pet, Bloom, you still use
熔火幼犬
, use it's
烈焰之犬
to dodge the hard-hitting
纠缠根须
, and use
灸灼
when it's available. Once his last pet is almost dead, you can switch to whatever leveling pet you have.

Plushie or levelling pet as a third
Start with lil Bling, Make it Rain, Extra Plating, Pimp slap until the bear is dead. Keep coins and plating up on cooldown.
When the elemental comes out standard PWS bomb rotation, Geyser, whirlpool and then just water jet in between.

Indeed a major pain.
After a lot of frustration and Blizzard hellish RNG, i managed to kill his pets with:
- 23 Amber Moth (Alpha Strike, Cocoon Strike, Moth Balls)
- 25 Kun-Lai Runt (Take Down, Frost Shock, Deep Freeze)
- 25 Anubisath Idol (Crush, Sandstorm, Deflection)
Amber Moth vs Grizzle
Starting with Cocoon Strike to avoid first stunning attack from Grizzle, then Alpha Strike until Girzzle goes to sleep. You HAVE to kill him when he is sleeping, else he wakes up to 2/3 of his life. It's a pain. So when he goes to sleep, you either use Moth Balls on him (to keep your speed up) or you switch to Kun-Lai Runt and hope to kill him within 2 rounds.
Kun-Lai Runt vs Beakmaster X-225
Frost Shock and Take Down until you kill him OR until you feel comfortable to do the combo Frost Shock + Deep Freeze to either kill Beakmaster or to make Major Payne switch pets to Bloom.
Anubisath Idol vs Bloom
Start with Deflection. The use it whenever its cooldown falls. Use the other two skills as fillers.

Trying to 2-pet this with Elekk Plushie and I can say that, even counting the Celestials I've done, this was my hardest fight so far. The only ones I haven't tried yet are the DMF trainers and 2/3 of the Celestials (I did Taran / Chen / Wrathion today).
After around 25 or so failures using what I could from the strategies above (I don't have a lil' Bling leveled yet, or some of the others) I went out for a burger, came home, and after failing trying a 2 Rabbit strat ... the combination I finally got it down with was:
Iron Starlette P/P (1,2,2)
Kun-Lai Runt P/P (2,2,2)
Elekk Plushie L25 (I actually needed the Elekk to be leveled up for the HP)
It took 21 rounds to kill and was relatively close. This fight has a LOT of RNG so there's no way you'll perfectly match my fight. This was what happened in mine:
1:
Bear used Bash, stunned Iron Star
Swap in Elekk Plushie to soak Rampage
2:
Soak Rampage
3:
Soak Rampage
4:
Swap in Iron Star, eat 1 hit of Rampage
5:
Bear hibernates
Iron Star uses Toxic Smoke
6:
Bear hibernates
Iron Star begins Wind Up
7:
Bear Hibernates
Iron Star uses Wind Up
8:
Bear uses Rampage
Iron Star uses Toxic Smoke
9:
Swap to Elekk
Bear dies (Toxic Smoke)
10:
Beakmaster uses Batter, Elekk soaks
Swap in Iron Star (Toxic Smoke still going)
11:
Beakmaster uses Shock and Awe (missed, probably key to the win)
Iron Star begins Wind Up
12:
Beakmaster uses Batter
Iron Star dies first time
Iron Star uses Wind Up
13:
Beakmaster begins Wind Up
Iron Star uses Toxic Smoke
14:
Beakmaster uses Batter
Iron Star dies (Toxic Smoke still going)
15:
Elekk in
Beakmaster uses Batter
(Toxic Smoke still going)
Beakmaster dies first time
16:
Beakmaster uses Wind Up (from 13)
Elekk dies (it's ok, you still get credit)
Kun-Lai in
17:
Beakmaster begins Wind Up
Kun-Lai uses Takedown
Beakmaster DIES MOFO DIES
18:
Bloom uses Entangling Roots
Kun-Lai uses Frost Shock (slow)
19:
Kun-Lai uses Deep Freeze (stun)
(Entangling Roots hits)
20:
Kun-Lai uses Takedown
Bloom uses Soothing Mists
Kun-Lai uses Takedown
Bloom dies

Used: Build Turret x1 and spammed Metal Fist. Clockwork managed to die and ressurect to take a hit (or two) from Payne's second pet.
-Water Waveling (lvl 25 rare)
Used: Frost Nova x1, Ice Lance x2, Geyser, Ice Lance. This pet survided Payne's second pet, but got killed by his third pet.
Geyser erupted on Payne's third pet.
-Aqua Strider (lvl 25 rare)
Used: Cleansing Rain x1, Pump, Water Jet, Pump, Spammed Water Jet untill third enemy pet died.

There are a lot of leveling strategies listed; here's another I used with Elekk Plushie working on the achievement. This assumes he leads with Grizzle: Round one: Elekk Plushie soaks up the stun. Round two: switch to Little XT cast Heartbroke and Tantrum. XT will take a lot of damage the first 2 rounds but after the first round of Tantrum, Grizzle will try to sleep it off. XT's next 2 rounds finish him and also damage the back pets. His mechanical comes out second; hit him with XT's zap and then XT will probably die. Switch to Zomstrock using Infected Claw, Rot and Carpnado. Infected Claw should be able to finish his mechanical then hit Bloom with Carpnado. This has a chance to fail but I won on first try.

IF YOU DON'T HAVE A FANCY MAX LEVEL LIL' BLING TRY THIS :)
I don't have lil' bling max level so doing the plushie achieve was max annoying.
If you're irritated with it like I was try the strat that worked for me:
Darkmoon Tonk 1, 1, 2
Anubisath Idol 1, 1, 1
Elekk Plushie
Start off with decoy, then bombing run, then spam missile. I was able to kill his bear with only taking 1 hit.
Continue to just set up bombing run, decoy, and missile for the mechanopeep. Try and coordinate decoy for his hard hits. It's likely RNG so don't give up. I was able to kill mecanopeep after my tonk died and revived.
Since my tonk was still alive (this little guy is a trooper), he was able to soak the roots from Bloom.
Once tanked died, just use idol as you would expect, save your deflection for the roots trigger. Finished the fight with idol only being down about 15% hp
Hope it works for you, first time posting up vote if it helped :D

This guy can be a Major Pain in the backside but do not worry. His pets may be epic quality but they are still suspectible to rares with elemental advantage against them.
But remember from this point you MUST use blue pets only. The tamers afterwards will have epic and legendary quality pets.
My setup was:
Grizzle vs Lil' Bling. Any mech or pet with mech attack is good. This fight is about damage. A tanky pet may be able to survive his onslaught for a while but Grizzle would just heal up with Hibernate.
Beakmaster vs Sinister Squasling or Fel Flame(I don't remember). Elementals are pretty much the Achilles point of mechanicals.
Bloom vs a H/H frog... I can't recall which one. By spamming Frog Kiss and using Healing Wave it was a piece of cake.

Grizzle: Start with
Water Spirit
and do the normal combo of
Geyser>Whirlpool
switch to
Chrom
, do
Howl
(then you'll prolly get stunned, even if you get stunned first use Howl) but Grizzle should use his heal this time so you can
pass on the stun
and use
Surge of Power
to finish him off.
Beakmaster:
switch to Ragnaros immediately
, use
Magma Trap> Sons of Flame
He may not trigger the trap but once you come up from sons of flame you do
Sulfuras Smash
Beakmaster should Res now and you can hit him with another
Smash
Bloom:
Keep Ragnaros out
and hit him with
Sulfuras Smash
until Ragnaros Dies
then
switch to Water Spirit
, use
Geyser>Whirlpool
,
switch to Chrom
and use
Howl
, should die here and chrom will die with him but water spirit will be alive in the back.
Win~

Wanna solo this guy with one pet and have nothing to do for a while?
During the double experience pet battle event I was leveling some of my random pets and threw my
金色晨羽鸟
in for funsies.
Using a level 25 rare p/p Golden Dawnfeather I was able to solo this tamer in his entirety without much effort, though it did take a while. Using Quills/Sunlight/Love Potion it's possible to nuke both his pets on the back line and simply force Grizzle into a war of attrition. As long as you keep Sunny Day up and use Love Potion on CD you'll stay above half health, and if not you can switch to another pet to just eat the damage until Grizzle uses Hibernation, then switch back and keep chipping him down. His attacks aren't very effective against flying, so you shouldn't have problems keeping your health up. His hibernation will also get buffed by Sunlight, so he'll heal his way back to full rather easily. But if you stay at it eventually he'll slip up and let you whittle him down and finish him off. Since Sunlight damaged pets on the back row you will only have to fight Grizzle, once he goes down you win.
It took me about ten minutes the first time I tried it and about 13 the second time. I took Anubisath and Sprite Darter with me, but never used them, except for one time he stunned my Dawnfeather on the turn Love Potion came off CD. I switched to Anubis to deflect the damage and let the bird recover from stun, the switched back and resumed whittling him down.
Would I recommend doing it this way? Not unless you've got nowhere to be for a while. But if you're having trouble with his mechanical or elemental pet this way WILL work.

1- Cogblade Raptor, S/S
Batter, Exposed Wounds
2- Emperor Crab, P/P
Surge, Healing Wave, Shell Shield
3- Carried Pet
Start off with Raptor, rotate Exposed Wounds and Batter as long as you can. Most of the times you will nearly kill Beakmaster before dying.
Enter the Emperor Crab: keep Shell Shield always up, Healing Wave if you drop under 40%, Surge in between.
The best time to swap the Carried Pet is when you deal some damage to Bloom, as she will automatically try to heal up, losing one round. Generally you do Surge > Swap > Carried Pet > some skill > Swap > finish her off with Crab.

I always had a hard time following other peoples strategies. I either did not have their pets or I hadn't yet leveled mine up.
I eventually used this strategy:
Nether Faerie Dragon (2,2,1)
Moonfire > Life Exchange > Arcane Blast. (This pet could be substituted with most Mechanical to solo Grizzle)
Singing Sunflower (2,1,2)
Use Sunlight > Photosynthesis > Solar Beam,
Elekk Plushie or carry pet
Once Grizzle was dead I swapped to Sunflower to easily solo the two pets with Solar Beam while maintaining Sunlight and Photosynthesis.
The nice thing about these two pets is that you have a huge margin for error. You can tank with Sunflower while slowly killing their backline and you can swap in Nether Faerie Dragon to use Life Exchange if needed.
I hope I save some people some heartache.

For carrying my plushie:
Lil' XT soaks the stun, then heartbreaker and tantrum. A zap or two should put the second pet on his return to life phase. Finished this and the final pet effortlessly with an Emperor Crab. Keep shell shield and renewing mists up, and spam surge inbetween.

It's just my opinion but I think that anyone who wants to level a pet in this one needs to accept the fact that it's pretty much impossible to do this with a low level pet.
My suggestion is to use the basic strategy of Mechanical - Elemental - Aquatic. The leveling pet should be the Aquatic pet (with aquatic attacks) of about level 18 or so.
I have had great success with most Mechanical pets and Fel Flame as the elemental. As for the aquatic pet, any pet with Surge has a very good chance of winning and getting some decent xp.

This major pain is surprisingly hard to beat. Not the one you should choose to carry a pet. I just want him over with when I battle him. If you have rarer pets, the combo of Darkmoon zep, living sandling and jademist dance will defeat him every time, even with bad rng.
Zep- 1-1-2 put up a decoy first then a bomb, and just keep blasting him with the missile. Even with a stun and bad rng you should kill the bear and survive to the annoying chicken. If you can get another bomb or decoy off, fantastic.
Sandling - 2-1-2 hit chicken with quicksand which guarantees you go first. then just keep hitting with sandbolt. You can kill him with three or bad rng 4. you can refresh quicksand when chicken dies or switch to
Jademist dancer 1-2-1 doesn't matter what you choose for other two, just spam steamvent and you'll kill the plant quickly. This dancer is also awesome for the valley of the four winds trainer's first two pets. Steamvent will kill them both quickly and you can heal and rain when carrot is submerged.

Goodday all
Mr Payne, this was an rather annoying one.
I used Lil"Xt Tympanic and zap (tried it also with rebuilt), but that didnt work. You can finish Grizzle and you do have 1 or 2 rounds for Beakmaster. When its over and out with Lil, bring Ruby
Ruby Droplet dive drain blood absorb what ever you prefer:)
For bloom use dive after Etangling drain blood when possible use Absorb
Dont bring Elek because Etangling will rooted and Lash will kill Elek.
Note, this isnt (like most of my other tips) an 100% change.
I hope this will help.
Have a nice day.

愈体之焰
Then prioritize
愈体之焰

太阳光
.
Pass if stunned.
It takes some time but you'll kill off the backline with
太阳光
and can then finish the bear with Alpha Strikes or swap to a Mech (ie Tonk) for a finishing blow. As a bonus,
火翼
being a flyer is resistant to the bear's Rampage

Have they made this guys pets harder? I have been trying for a month or more. I have read everyone's ideas and used some of the pets or types of pets. I don't have son of animus or clockwork gnome cause I don't have 25k in gold to buy them.
I find it very annoying that bliz would make this so hard that you have to consider selling your kidney to buy a stupid pet to beat it. I can't advance to Taming Cata till I beat this jerk.

Kill the first pet with Powerball, Wind Up (2x) and Powerball.
Kill the second pet with Wind Up (2x) and Explode.
Kill the last pet with Anubisath Idol.

Used leveling pet on round 1 - got stunned, no damage taken (this might be rng, simply reset if it doesn't happen)
> switched to
Lil'Bling
, starting off with
Extra Plating>Make it Rain>Inflation
- keep up Make it Rain and use Inflation when available
- refresh Extra Plating on second pet and continue with Make it Rain/Inflation
- Lil' Bling should be able to down the first two pets before he dies (if he dies too early, finish off the second pet with Teroclaw's Alpha Strike*)
*if you use Nature's Ward before attacking, be sure to refresh it on Bloom (continue the rotation below)
> switched to
Teroclaw Hatchling
, starting off with
Nature's Ward
- keep up Nature's Ward at all times (refresh when there's 1 round of buff left)
- use
Dodge
when Bloom casts
Entangling Roots
; otherwise spam Alpha Strike
I hope this helps, good luck!

Solo pet strat
Viable for leveling a lower level of Elekk plushie achievement.
Teroclaw Hatchling
: Moveset Alpha Strike, Dodge, Nature's Ward
vs. Bear :
Dodge his first move, you are faster. Alpha strike untill he hibernates. Start healing on his last turn of hibernation and dodge again when he's awake. Don't try to kill him to fast or be afraid of the healing you can take your time and just finish him slowly with full hp.
vs. Chicken :
Keep healing up and alpha strike, use your dodge the round he charges to dodge the heavy attack, you will end with near full hp
vs. The flower :
Keep healing up and alpha strike, use your dodge when he roots you.
If you want to level a low pet you can swap him in at the very end when The flower is low to give it the finishing blow, I use him to level 18+'ish pets mostly.

Mine was only level 23.
Just use Sunlight and Love Potion on cooldown. Use Quills when you can.
The 2nd and 3rd pets will commonly die to Sunlight damage due to the Bear being so tanky.
To level a pet, just switch in during one of the Bear's Hibernates.

My one shot team:
Clockwork Gnome (1, 1, 1) - vs. Grizzle
Kun Lai Runt (2, 2, 2) - vs. Beakmaster X-225
Pandaren Water Spirit (1, 2, 2) - vs. Bloom
Open with Clockwork Gnome. Build Turret, then Metal Fist...at 50% health use Repair. Repeat until Grizzle dead.
If Clockwork Gnome still up, use Build Turret on Beakmaster X-255, when Clockwork Gnome dies bring in Kun Lai Runt and Deep Freeze. Major Payne may swap out pets if Beakmaster gets stunned, so follow suit, switching to Pandaren Water Spirit. I was able to kill Bloom using just Water Jet. When Beakmaster comes back in you can finish him up with either pet!
Hope this helps! <3

I have tried several of the listed strategies for this pet battle but none have worked for me.
After a few trial and error battles I have this strategy that has beaten boss twice in a row with no problems.
I used Lil' XT with zap, heartbroken, and tantrum.
Spirit of Summer with burn, immolate, and conflagrate
and Eternal Strider with water jet, cleansing rain, and pump.
All the pet are rare lvl 25.
Lil' XT starts out with zap followed by heartbroken and then tantrum. Tantrum has a high likelihood of killing first pet while it is sleeping.
Lil' XT then dies shortly after second pet comes out and I use Spirit of Summer with burn, followed by either immolate or conflagrate until second pet dies.
Eternal Strider only needs to attack with water jet or pump once or twice before the third pet dies.

!
Lil' XT
- Use Zap, then Heartbroken, then Tantrum
Pandaren Water Spirit
- Use Waterjet to finish off Bloom, then Whirlpool, Dive, and finish off Beakmaster with Waterjet.
Elekk Plushie
- Doesn't need to take any hits to get credit for the achievement.
Done!

There are some really fantastic comments on how to get past Major Payne all throughout this group of posts. I really appreciated the details from the other posters, and am providing some consolidation to save a bit of time and/or eye strain for those on small screens.
I wrote down some of the more common pets used, and Clockwork Gnome (1st) with Fel Flame (2nd) were common pets used throughout this comment string. The third pet varied more but some sort of crab came up a few times, so I went with the Ghostshell Crab because it was what I had available. It took a few tries but the lost battles were on me and not on the providers of the recommendations in the comments. Had I stuck more strictly to their recommendations I probably would have got it the first time. My set up, based on the posts throughout the comments:
- 25 Rare Clockwork Gnome: Build turret Repair Metal Fist
- 25 Rare Fel Flame: Burn Scorched Earth Conflagrate
- 25 Rare Ghostshell Crab: Spirit Claws Bubble Whirlpool
Each of these pets did the job efficiently. Of course, each of us has a different experience due to the nature of RNG, etc., so with my battles it seemed for the most part, that each pet went one for one with Major Payne’s pets (Clock vs. Bear, then Fel Flame vs. Beakmaster, etc.)
Things to remember:
- Building a turret first helped me immensely, since the bear quickly stunned me, forcing a pet swap. I just switched to Fel Flame for a round then back again. Recommend that you keep as many turrets up as possible to counter the bear’s restorative sleep.
- Clockwork’s REPAIR on the second round of his fight was critical to ensuring I had no worries for the remainder of his part of the job.
- Ghostshell Crab’s WHIRLPOOL seemed to consistently hit very hard, which made Major Payne’s third pet go quickly.
Thanks again for all of the great posts on how to get past the Major – they really helped since I was seriously struggling with him before this. If you have time, there is a lot of good general knowledge to read throughout the comments section for this battle.

The answer is in a
Golden Dawnfeather
(1,1,2). I used an Uncommon lvl 23 pet and won easily.
I used;
1: Golden Dawnfeather (S/S) (1,1,2)
2: Son of Animus (Or any other good Mechanical Pet).
3: Elekk Plushie
The key is to keep Sunlight up at all times, and use Love potion every cooldown and Quills in between. You wont kill Grizzle, but the Sunlight slowly kills his back two pets. It takes ages (and the mechno one revives once), but in the end both background pet dies.
Then stop using Sunlight, but keep on using Love potion untill you kill off Grizzle as much as you can. Then use a Mechanic Pet to finish him off. I used a Son of Animus.
The Golden Dawnfeather earned itself an upgrade and boost!

This fight is greatly RNG-dependant, because of the possible 25% stuns by foe #1.
However, with this strat I can
reliably
bring any leveler through the fight:
#1: Mechanical Scorpid S/S
: 2/1/2
(Note: It won't work with other breeds)
#2: Leveling pet
(can be level 1)
#3: Mudshell Conch
H/P: 1/1/1
(Equivalents: Shimmershell Snail H/P; H/Hs of Mudshell or Shimmershell will most likely also work; other snails with that moveset
may
also work (Rhapana, whatever))
Foe #1 (Grizzle):
Use your spells according to this priority:
1) Blinding Poison; except: Extra Plating is up, or Bear is Hibernating
2) Extra Plating; except: Blinding Poison is up, or Bear is Hibernating
3) Wind-Up
Remember that, since our S/S Mechanical Scorpid is faster than each of the enemies, Blinding Poison will always be effective for 2 rounds!
Foe #2 (Beakmaster):
It seems she will always start with either
Shock and Awe / Wind-Up (prepare) / Wind-Up (execute), or…
Wind-Up (prepare) / Wind-Up (execute) / Shock and Awe
In any case, the crucial thing here is to have Blinding Poison up when
Wind-Up (execute)
happens. This is not difficult; just do not spend Blinding Poison before! (if available use Extra Plating to soften the Shock and Awe).
Once you are beyond this point the rest is trivial:
Use up your Scorpid until he dies. (Beakmaster should now be down to something like 200 HP or even in the mechanical resurrection phase. If you’re lucky you may even have destroyed her.)
Bring in your leveler.
Swap to your Mudshell Conch.
Finish up (if necessary the rest of Beakmaster and) foe #3 (Bloom). As a Critter our snail is pretty resistant against Bloom’s Elemental attacks.

For those that do not have the below mentioned pets and want to still use a level 1 leveling strategy:
1. Lil' Bling - Inflation // Extra Plating // Make it Rain
2. Anubisath Idol - Demolish // Stoneskin // Rupture
3. Leveling Pet
I feel like most people have these two pets. Anyways, start with Bling and use Extra Plating, then Make it Rain (refresh if 1-2x remaining), then Inflation. Use Bling until dead. Then Anubisath, put armor on right away, use #3 on CD and spam #1. The armor is great against fast hitting Bloom, basically cutting its damage down in half allowing you to 2 pet this. Just pull out your leveling pet at some point.

Iron Starlette - WU-SC-WU did 2577 damage and killed Grizzle (I got lucky I think)
Used toxic smoke as many times as I could before Iron Starlette died.
Bring in inland Croaker - Blizzard - Ice Tomb - Ice Lance till beakmaster dead

While trying to level Ikky (lvl 21 at start) I had varying results with a lot of the mentioned combinations.
What I found was that, even at lvl 21, Ikky "owns" Grizzle, as long as Ikky doesn't get stunned. I just used Black Claw, then Flock. If Ikky is stunned I would just reset.
After Grizzle goes down and Beakmaster X-225 comes in I swapped out with Electrified Razortooth 2-1-2. As long as not crits the mech goes down.
When Bloom swaps in I swapped out with a frog 1-2-1. This fight was fairly easy to the end.

Two team strategy for Plushie Achievement:
Lil' Bling (2,2,1); Extra Plating, Make it rain and Inflation (if Bear is down far enough when he Hibernates, hit inflation. Usually dies here. Use Make it rain and inflation on Mech (If Mech isn't dead, bring out Ikky and Quills should kill it here.)
Ikky (2,1,1); Black Claw, Flock, Usually dies here, if not use and it is low enough use Flock again.

ELEKK PLUSHIE SOLUTION:
Elekk Plushie (x,x,2)
Ikky (1,1,1)
Anubisath Idol (1,1,1)
Elekk Plushie goes first, because the first opponent pet Grizzle will stun whoever is out first. Use Itchin' for a Stichin' (Anubisath Idol out), or manually swap to Ikky. Ikky kills Grizzle easily with Black Claw and Flock, but struggles with Beakmaster X-225. The further you get, the better it is. Use Anubisath's deflect on 2nd Wind Up. It's easy to see the routine with the Elekk Plushie. Instead of guessing, I just learnt the routine by letting the Elekk Plushie get the pounding. After that I could simply just deflect every 2nd Wind-Up without any problems. On the last fight you have to deflect the plant grip. Basically it grips you first, so just attack normally. After that round, use deflect. I didn't have much hp left when I won though, but it worked.

Abilities:

(1/1/1).
He has a better speed than the three pet giving him the ability to dodge two attacks with his
尘雾
and can follow up with
钻地
for a total of three negated attack in a row and lot of damages (
猛击
is efficient against Grizzle).
He is also easy to find and already high level (mine was level 24 & rare).
You can follow up with any aquatic pet (mine was
拉帕纳海螺
level 25 & rare) and finish Bloom.
On my first try I've completely annihilated Grizzle (without taking a single damage).
I've tried some other strats from here without a success..
Might be the best strat at the moment.

Rds 1 and 2: Raptor goes first and casts exposed wounds. Grizzle stuns Raptor, and I pass.
Rd 3: Raptor cast batter (hits 3 times for 315!)
Rd 4: Cast batter again (hits twice for 315).
Rd 5: One batter and Grizzle is dead. Beakmaster comes in.
Rd 6: Raptor casts Batter (hits 3 times for 140).
Rd 7: Cast Batter again (hits twice for 140) and Raptor dies. Failsafe applies
Rd 8: Raptor casts Batter (hits 3 times for 140).
Rd 9: Raptor casts Batter (hits 3 times for 140). This guy keeps a licking and keeps on ticking! Beakmaster dies but failsafe applies. He kills my Raptor for the final time and Lil Rag comes in.
Rd 10: Lil Rag casts Sulfuras Smash for 438 and Beakmaster dies. Bloom comes in.
Rds 11 and 12: Cast Flamethrower and then Conflagrate ( hits for 728!)
Rd 13: Lil Rag casts Sulfuras Smash for 451. Flamethrower is still damaging him as well. Bloom dies.
Hope this helps!

Fen Crab (Rare Lvl 24 is all I had that I thought would work)

I didnt have all the pets suggested. I was successful with Clockwork Gnome & Lil' Bling for the first two rounds (lv25s), then I used a lv23 chitterspine (blackclaw + dive) on bloom. The stuns on the first round had me in trouble until I brought in a 2nd mech then I just rotated through the stuns.

As many of the previous commenters, I didn't have most of these recommendations. I was able to finally beat Mr. Payne with
Mechanical Pandaren Dragonling
(1, 1, 2) against Grizzle,
Pandaren Fire Spirit
(1, 2, 1) against Beakmaster X-225, and
Dancing Water Skimmer
(1, 2, 2) against Bloom. Only took me a couple of years of casual trying to get it.
Use Bombing Run on Grizzle and Pump on Bloom as often as you can!

I finally had great luck with Iron Starlette (1,2,1), Fel Flame (1,1,1), and Hydraling (1,2,2). When I finished, Hydraling still had 74% health and things went really smoothly.

During pre-patch scourge event, Major Payne seems to have taken a vacation. He's nowhere to be found (for me anyway) and there's no "go back to original zone state" npc showing on the map like in other affected zones

After doing the Shadowlands prepatch scourge questline that happens in icecrown you are phased to a different version of the zone and mayor payne will
not be there
.
Battle him on a toon that hasn't done the questline.

As of the Shadowlands pre-patch, Major Payne is nowhere to be found, even as the marker still stands in front of the tower in the Argent Tournament Grounds.

Does anyone know where he's gone after patch 9.0? He's not in the same place as on the map anymore :(

Playful Frostkin 1,1,1
Strand Crab 1,1,1
Didn't even need the strand crab.

Does anyone know why I can't battle him? His only option is "tell me more about yourself". I can't get a pet battle started

I defeated him in 9.2.5 with this team
Mechanical Pandaren Dragonling
- 1, 2, 2
Nightshade Sproutling
- 1, 1, 1
Magical Crawdad
- 1, 2, 2
I understand that the Nightshade is difficult to get, so I would say use a similar battle pet with a blinding ability and a healing ability, your main ability being a damaging one.
Using your Decoy and Thunderbolt abilities off cooldown and using the Breath in between
Mechanical dies
Switch to Nightshade Sproutling
Lash, Grizzle dies
Blinding Poison, Natures Ward, Use Lash until Beakmaster dies
Blinding Poison, Natures Ward, Lash, Nightshade dies
Switch to Magical Crawdad
Shell Shield, Snap, Snap, Wish, Snap, Snap, Shell Shield, Snap, Wish, Snap, Snap, Snap, Snap
I did not shorten the last one as the cooldowns do wear off but if you continue pressing through, you will win. I'm sure you can use your Shield but I don't see the point.
It took me 40 rounds, which seems like a lot but I found that this is what worked for me and I wanted to help others out if they were doing Major Payne in 9.2.5

I didn't have any of the pets that seem to be preferred, but I was able to beat him with Fluttering Glimmerfly, Pulsating Maggot and Decay Grub.

Since I haven't had the most often suggested Lil'Bling lvl25 or the Clockwork Gnome I have gone on an alternative: Runeforged Servitor. It worked wonders!

beat Major Pain with Mechanical Pandaren Dragonling (2,1,2) KIndlet (1,2,1) and Mud jumper (1,1,2)
>
Grizzle kept stunning me so I started with decoy so I could get my bombing run started,
used Flyby while waiting on cooldowns,
added decoy and bombing run (as available) until Grizzle was dead
usually can get a couple hits in on Beakmaster before my Mech Dragonling died
then Kindlet hit Beakmaster hard in any combo I tried, would get a few hits in on Bloom before dying
Finally, Mud Jumper focusing on waterjet and pump to finish up
>
i dont have an extensive collection yet so i managed to put this together after reading the comments
(Thank you to everyone who posts<3)
we not fancy but it does the job
