This is the starting area for the Undead race. Characters start in Deathknell.
The Undercity, capital city to the Undead race, is located in the south-central part of the zone.

All Forsaken begin their un-lives in Tirisfal Glades. No race is more isolated than the Forsaken. Fighting not only against the Alliance forces but also the Undead Scourge held in ghastly thrall by the Lich King, few among even their allies in the Horde ranks would deem them trustworthy. Their presence is an aberration against nature, and their core motivations under the demon lord Verimathras are cloudy at best. Despite all the distrust, you'll note that many of the Forsaken simply wish to carry on their lives as before the Plague came; as you journey through Tirisfal Glades you'll see the twisted trappings of a humdrum existance. Apart from a few morbidly ambitious apothecaries, the Forsaken stance is predominantly defensive. In many ways, the Forsaken are two things they never wished to be: alive and alone. Yet, in defiance of their fate- an attitude reminiscent of the humans they once were, they carry on despite the circumstances. You can see why some have called World of Warcraft's Undead a roleplayer's dream come true. Map can be found here

The area west of Deathknell is suspected of being Tirisfal Grove where the High Elves first landed and where Krasus' Chamber is. Unfortunately there is no evidence to support this and no mention on whether it will be added in the near future if it is.

Tirisfal Glades is a dark, gloomy area inhabited by the dreaded Undeads. They've settled in nicely and taken their stead in the Undercity, as well as other towns in the area. Unfortunately, their wars are far from over. Though several Undeads were freed from the Lich King by Lady Sylvanas, the rest who succumbed must mindlessly battle until they're slain once more. Meanwhile, while fighting back the Scourge, a fanatic clan of Humans that call themselves "The Scarlet Crusade" have taken over several towers and a Monastery to the northeast. To make matters worse, the Scourge have taken over the Agamand Mills in the northwest, and also have taken the Gnolls into their ranks. There have even been Murloc sightings along the north beaches. Human farmers who survived the plague inhabit the farm in the west. And finally, even animals have begun to turn hostile. All these threats and the Forsaken still have time to brew up another plague.
Points of interest:
Deathknell- Where all new undead recruits awaken and begin their journey.
Brill- A village along the way with several quests for you to do, as well as a mount vendor.
Agamand Mills- Once the home of the rich Agamand family, the Mills became a base for the Scourge after the Agamands fell to their ranks.
Scarlet Monastery- A level 30-40 instance inhabited by the Scarlet Crusade as well as a few ghouls. Split into 4 segments: The Graveyard, The Library, The Armory, and The Cathedral.
Undercity- The capital city of the Forsaken, the Undercity has sewers of green goo that lead to different areas in the Tirisfal Glades, A portal that takes you to Silvermoon City, the capital of the Blood Elves, giant green corpse guards that have been stitched together- using spare body parts, and is the home of Lady Sylvanas, the banshee queen, and Lord Verimathras.

In the graveyard near Brill there is a Crypt, you can open the doors, but there is a brick wall there, it may be a reference to a few stories and such, or blizzard was bored and lazy or had no ideas for there, or it may be an instance later..
If you have any idea what it is, please do post here.
And I apoligize for being off topic.

The very tricky area called Night Web's Hollow in the North-western corner of Deathknell does not have to be discovered for the achievement, it is the small cave there. (Edited)
Jager - There is only one graveyard for Alliance, but multiple for Horde.

I love Tirisfal Glades. First of all, my first character and the long-time main character were both undead, so I spent some time here (along with many other Forsaken characters). Other than that, I love the gloom and the tension. I mean, how many zones have eyes blinking in shrubs? Plus, you can find regular beast mobs and also Scarlet scum and Scourge wretches! It's just great!
Another thing I love about Tirisfal is that it's full with rares! It's really interesting for a low level to keep stumbling into rares.
Here is a list:
Lost Soul
- Banshee with a curse!
Farmer Solliden
- Farmer with a fearsome rake!
Tormented Spirit
- Another Banshee with a curse!
Muad
- Shaman Murloc with Dune... wait for it...
Deeb
- ...reference! (The other Shaman Murloc)
Bayne
- Hell of a fiendish dog with diabolic teeth!
Ressan the Needler
- Bat with silence!
Fellicent's Shade
- Ghost with various spells!
Sri'skulk
- Spider with a deadly poison!

NOTE for alliance players:
If you are exploring Tirisfal Glades for Achievement, you should need to know next:
1. dying anywhere on this map, will always send your soul in Faol's Rest, no matter where you died, undercity, deathknell, scarlet monastery instance, etc.
2. if you want to explore Undercity, safest way is to do it from sewers, coordinates are 51,71 on Tirisfal Glades Map. There are no guards in Sewers.

That area west of dathknell would likely be a new instance but might also be a means of travel to Northrend. They could develop a town there that hosts a portal to northrend or something similar.
If and When they do finish the area the most feasible entrance would be near that one pond you see on the map. Near there you can see a giant rock that looks like it doesn't belong. Once the blizzard finishes the area all that they have to do is remove the rock and the entrance would be there.

The secluded valley of Deathknell is where many of the rising Forsaken Undead emerge from what they thought was eternal rest. Those just awakening can run a short ways down the hill and to the town proper, or they can fight the Duskbats and Young Scavengers off the path and in the grass.
The town itself has seen better days. Although it's not fully overrun, the north part of town is filled Wretched Zombies and Mindless Zombies lumbering around town are a nuisance. They are brainless and lack combat initiative, so feel free to run between them without fear of aggression. Within certain buildings and wandering the borders of the town are Rattlecage Skeletons, also quite brainless but a bit more dangerous.
The south part of town is quite safe and dilligiently provides the recently risen with class training and tasks. The town also houses a weaponcrafter who sells weaponry and a mail armor merchant. The town's church and graveyard are important locations every adventurer should be aware of - most of the town's leadership congregates there.
Most beasts in Deathknell are docile, though there is a breed of aggressive spider in Night Web's Hollow. Along the road leading from the town to the gates of Deathknell are four notorious undead enemies that have somehow managed to set up a camp. The Scarlet Crusade, overzealous humans who refuse to give up the Lordaeron Region to any Undead (Scourge or otherwise), have sent a small regiment to Deathknell's hills. Note that Mevin Korgal, a lieutenant in the Scarlet Crusade, has been seen in the area.

The town of Brill lies in wait for the risen dead coming from Deathknell, but is useful for many other types of adventurers as well. Herbalists and Alchemists can find resources and training inside an apothecary here, and there is also a large weapons and armor store next to a robust stable where the Undead can obtain their mounts. Across from the stables is Brill's City Hall, the inn, and a market area where general and trade supplies can be bought. Adventurers should be sure to look for quests in the apothecary, city hall, and inn, as well as outside on the path running through the city.
Much of Brill is a huge graveyard, the final resting place for the large numbers of those dead as a result of the scourge. Some of its former denizens may be offering work for adventurers. Keep an eye out for a huge lumbering abomination along the path from Deathknell to Brill for additional work.
A zeppelin tower lies between Brill and the Ruins of Lordaeron (Undercity), where travellers can board a flying machine to Durotar or Grom'Gol Outpost in Stranglethorn Vale.

Brightwater Lake lies slightly east of Brill, and is generally safe for fishermen seeking to catch what little still lives in the murky waters. A fishing trainer stands at the south end of the lake, and those seeking to train low-level fishing should do so there. Any further east, along the east edge of the lake, and adventurers will begin running into Cursed Darkhounds and Vampiric Duskbats. There are no monsters in the lake, but zombies have been sighted sulking about the islands in the center.

Garren haunts this place no more. Due north of Brill, the area opens with undead gnolls (Rot Hide Gnolls and Graverobbers) raiding graves for corpse parts. Further on north of the mass graves is the farm, which is overrun with Rot Hide Mongrels. Maggot Eye, their leader, currently has a bounty issued on his head. Adventurers should collect the bounty from Brill and then put an end to Maggot Eye's activities in the area.

The area surrounding it on the game maps is listed as Whipering Gardens within the Tirisfal Glades. Villains are High Inquisitor Whitemaine; Scarlet Commander Mograine; Herod, the Scarlet Champion and Houndmaster Loksey. The quest to slay them is "In the Name of the Light" and provides a large degree of experience for those completing it. Merlinowart

Isolated from most of the Tirisfal Glades, the most elite of the Scarlet Crusade active in greater Tirisfal dwells here. Populated by loathsome skeletons, zombies, and spirits, the dreary Agamand Mills (located at the north edge of the zone, northeast of Deathknell) are dangerous to those just starting out. The family in this region is paying the price for their errors in the prime of Lordaeron, and now wander their mills in a zombie-like stupor, among their risen ancestors and mysterious skeleton soldiers. The fringes of the area are patrolled by Rattlecage Soldiers and Darkeye Casters, as well as Cursed Darkhounds. Further in are much tougher enemies, namely Cracked Skull Soldiers and the Agamands.

Nightmare Vale encompasses all of the forest in the southern part of Tirisfal Glades between Deathknell and the Ruins of Lordaeron (above the Undercity). The wildlife in this area consists of Decrepit Hounds and Greater Duskbats. Note the tower just west of the Ruins of Lordaeron. Here, the Scarlet Crusade has set up a base manned by Captain Perrine and his troops. Scarlet Zealots and Missionaries patrol the tower's grounds, and Captain Perrine himself dwells within the structure.
There is an entrance to the Undercity very close by the Scarlet Crusade tower utilized by the flying bats that transport travellers across the Eastern Kingdoms. Though mainly for this purpose, with some effort anyone can travel through the tunnels into the Undercity without need to travel into the Ruins of Lordaeron.

The foolhardy human farmers who grasp onto a semblance of ordinary life in the ruined land of Lordaeron stand guard over their pumpkins, while the Scarlet Crusaders patrol the perimeter paths, armed to the teeth. In the forests near the farmstead (located north of Deathknell), Greater Duskbats and Decrepit Darkhounds can be found. Adventurers who decide to venture onto the grounds of the farmstead should be vigilant. Tirisfal Farmhands and Farmers are thick on the field, guarding their precious pumpkins. They are quite resilient and can be dangerous when in groups. There is a Scarlet Crusade guard tower to the northwest of the farm. Located in the extreme northwest of the Tirisfal Glades, the Whispering Shore is arguably the closest any adventurer can get to the unforgiving continent of Northrend. Some say that, on the rare days when the pallid green air of Tirisfal briefly dissolves into a clear blue, the icy lands are visible from the shoreline. Most adventurers who visit, however, only see ancient stone ruins and hungry murlocs.
