When the bonus event is going on, logging in automatically grants you "Sign of the Emissary: Reputation gains from Broken Island World Quests increased by 50%." If you speak to Archmage Timear in front of new Dalaran's Violet Hold entrance, you can also get the quest "The World Awaits", which rewards 5k order resources for completing 20 WQs.
I must admit this was perfectly timed. I've stopped doing REP grind completely on ALTS and my MAIN since it was getting very "GRINDY" and just not worth it after "Friendly" on ALTS. I'm never going to drag my ALTS thru Suramar unless I have to at this point. That grind is way silly for ALTS and not worth it to me to waste time drawing agro every 2 feet. Sorry Blizz - you guys need to rework how that zone works as many are avoiding it like the plaque (Outside Ancient Mana Farming with Realm Assist).
Sure would like to see some of those magical "make up" mechanics for ALTS kick in soon. So far I've not seen ANYTHING change from my first character to 110 to my 3rd and 4th character leveling to 110. (i.e. No Rep bump, Research time decreases, etc.)
I've got the Kirin Tor emissary right now. Anyone know how this event affects it? I'd hate to waste 4 WQ bonus rep opportunities but I don't want to skip it either. I know you get the rep choice at the end and also what about rep gained DOING the quests? Kirin Tor isn't actually a faction you grind (unless I'm missing something).
During this World Quest bonus event, visible from the buff
, the amount of reputation gained for completing all World quests (Broken Isles, Argus, Zandalar and Kul Tiras) is increased by 50%. Do note that any Emissary quests such as
World quests and thus do not give any bonus reputation during this event.
At level 120, you can also pick up
from your Adventurer Journal or
(A) to do 20 BFA world quests during the week for a bonus 1000
. Remember to complete and hand in the quest before the weekly reset or it will be removed from your log along with the event and you will not be able to retrieve the rewards even if you completed it but simply forgot to hand it in.
These bonus week events are on a 7-week rotation that follows:
Skirmish Bonus event
World Quest Bonus Event
One of the
Timewalking Dungeon Events
Battleground Bonus Event
BFA Dungeon event
Pet Battle bonus event
One of the
Timewalking Dungeon Events
With the Timewalking dungeons themselves rotating each week they are active:
Prior to Legion, this event used to be the
Apexis Bonus Event
drop rates and had the quest
that yielding other WoD currencies, this event has however been completely removed now.
Prior to BFA, this event was the same but the quest
instead which has similarly been replaced with the new version of the quest.
So NOW is the time to do all the WQs! lol
LoL alts have never had so many shortcuts as the recent expansions have given, hardly anyone goes the long road leveling anymore and still they complain,,that said I have to agree with the tedious nature of mob density in most areas of legion,,it can become a bit frustrating dealing with fast respawns and being overun constantly by multiple mobs,,some classes are much better suited for that, but still questing should never be a tedious grind and it wouldn't hurt the expansion if the developers had taken a slightly more chilled stance where mob density is concerned,,,,there needs to be more room between mobs in several locations,,it can almost be pure aggravation just getting through some areas let alone actually questing in them,,,again balance is lacking somewhat.
I am pig sick tired of world quests...not because of what they are, but because of the lack of them. It's taking longer and longer to get the rep I need to fly. I am lucky if there is 3 or 4 world quests in a zone in a 24 hour period....and then they only give 72 rep each (non diplomacy). You might find a warden quest or two, but they too only give 72 rep.
a very great number of people at blizzard have needed firing for a very long time indeed. You see everything in Legion is RNG literally everything. There is nothing fun, there is nothing good, and there is nothing fair about such a terrible system!
The fact is wq should act like dailies...at least you get the full amount of daily quest for a zone, you get rep from doing dungeons...but oh no not Legion. Enough is enough..In the beginning people never had a problem with lots and lots of world quests...then came patch 7.2 and they nerfed the crap out of world quests to the point where your lucky if you have 3 or 4 a day! Simply unacceptable! BLizzard either fix this oversight or expect to see an even bigger exodus out of your detritus that wow has become! at less than several thousand active accounts in europe and the US, I doubt you could afford to loose any more people....because you sure as hell are not getting new people!
just found out the hard way today that world event quests don't reset at the same time dailies do,
plz tell me this applies to argus too
Does this include a 50% boost for rep tokens used with the buff?
The Darkmoon Faire 10% boost from either the Top Hat or the Carousel Ride stacks with the 50% boost from this event, giving you a whopping 60% boost to rep gains when doing WQ's!
For those who are playing right now, the bonus applies for Broken Isles as well or only BFA territories ?
This page summary currently still links to the Legion quests. If you are looking for the BFA quests (with the same name) they are handed out by
(for the horde) and
(for the alliance)
For those looking in Shadowlands the quest giver is keeper ka-tow near the great vault.
