This is a recolor of Black Mageweave Regalia, added to our database in 4.3.2. It is based on a comment by Niaw.

The items are mostly from Outland, even though the model and texture was introduced in vanilla. The items are acquired through crafting, questing, and rare spawns.

I've been working with these items before they were even called a set.

Personally, I like Gloves of Piety http://www.wowhead.com/item=31150 better than the ones listed. I did origionally go with them, but Gloves of Piety match the Chest piece better, IMO.

The Feet are extremely hard to come by. Farming feathers make a person loose a little bit of sanity. But they are the best looking for this "Set".

I also added Whitemend Hood http://www.wowhead.com/item=24264 and Night's End http://www.wowhead.com/item=32420.

The Shoulders were a toss up between Soulcloth Shoulders http://www.wowhead.com/item=21864, Mantle of Phrenic Power http://www.wowhead.com/item=21686, Mystical Mantle http://www.wowhead.com/item=10172 or Raincaller Mantle http://www.wowhead.com/item=14186

My belt was easy Runecloth Belt http://www.wowhead.com/item=13856

My Full Item Set. On my Female Draenei Mage it's very very good looking. :D

This set was put together from pieces that use the Blue variant of the "C5 Cloth" artwork. They form a complete five-piece set.

There actually isn't any art in this set for head, shoulders and belt. Choose whatever you like, as there are no "proper" matches.

There are four other colours of this set in the artwork database and three of them are available as sets. See:

Black: used in Mageweave Regalia
Blue: Mageweave Regalia (Recolor)
Red: vest option of Mageweave Regalia (Recolor)
Yellow (actually more orange): Mageweave Regalia (Recolor)

There's also pants and boots of a White set (click on the link to see appearance and list of pieces), but I can't find any more than that.

Im had hunted the red version of this, an therefore I found some items and cloth that matches the blue her.
Im not listing anything that not everyone can use... so there is no "mage only" in this list of items (Except for faction limitations).

To explain my "system" :)
This is the Basic linie up for each item:
"Place": "Item-name/link" - "Where it comes from" (Who can make it, who drops it, which quest reward or where can I buy it?)
Multiple "Head(1)" means that although the items have another name, it is the same model and color and can be used as a substitute
"Head(2)" means that this is a different item, and it does not look anything like the "Head(1)" but it matches the set anyway, and therefore it could be an idea to see if this is something that you like more then the others.

Blue color edition (This one):
Head(1): 山岳贤者兜帽 - Loot from 一大箱回收物资 0.07% from Salvage in Garrison follower missions.
Head(2): 丝质巫师帽 - Drop from 辛迪加占星师 1.5%
Shoulders: 原始月布护肩 - Tailor (365) 图样：原始月布护肩 Buy from 纳丝玛拉·月歌 or 埃德尔鲁·夏叶
Back(1): 变幻机遇披风 - Buy from 基厄拉斯 for 130 Justice points.
Back(1): 生命活力披风 - World drop (level 60-70 + Elite)

Waist(2): 阿卡玛的腰带 - Reward from 阿卡玛的保证 (H+A)
Waist(3): 符文布腰带 - Tailor (255) Trainer
Waist(4): 山岳贤者束腰 - Loot from 一大箱回收物资 0.07% from Salvage in Garrison follower missions. (Not possible to Transmog at this time due to a bug)
Legs: 游荡者的长裤 - Reward from 为了部落，烧！(H) or 烧毁掷刀车(A)
Feet: 风语者裹足 - Contained in 流放者的物资 03.00% which is a reward for 流亡者的交易(H+A) and 更多羽毛(H+A)
Weapon Staff-1: 腐尸之塔 - Drop from 噬魂者 19% (Maybe to blue in color)

I collected this entire set only to find that the pants which were a quest reward long vendored would not be restored by a GM. So the only way for me to finish the set would be to faction change, do the other faction quest, then faction change again. Very depressing as this is a beautiful set. Hopefully they implement a way to regain past quest rewards or change the policy.

I unintentionally managed to have every one of my clothies wearing some type of Mageweave set. Now, I love the gold recolor too much to mess with it (if that's even possible), but I customized the red recolored set a bit for my fire mage, and I unintentionally did the same with the blue recolored set for my new night elf. Here's what I used if anyone is interested:

I'm using this set's, err... 'pants', with:
Shoes: Gnomish Casting Boots. They are from the quest Show Them Gnome Mercy! in Outland. I don't know if there is a Horde equivalent to those colored boots, sorry :(
Waist: Serenity Belt. There's no specific drop location from this (to my knowledge), so I got mine from the auction house.
Shoulders: Laughing Skull Shoulderpads. These drop from Outland mobs.
Chest: Jessera's Fungus Lined Tunic. It's Alliance-only and from the quest: Ysera's Tears in Bloodmyst Isle.
Lastly, I don't have a staff that I think matches this set very well yet, but I'm using Tower of the Mouldering Corpse from The Forge of Souls instance.

The shirt I linked covers most of the arm. So you don't see bracers and barely the gloves (which are Mageweave, by the way).

The shoulders I chose don't necessarily match. But night elves have big, bulky shoulders, so I think the fact that they're small makes up for it not matching well-- for my toon. This won't be the case for more petite races, so if you can find nice shoulders, good for you :)

Well, it looks like the Knight-captain's legguards can't be used for transmog anymore, so if you got rid of the quest reward, you're ^&*!ed. Thanks, Blizz.

For those transmoging that are getting really mad like i did about the bracers being alliance i found a pair that goes really well 永恒束腕

The overall look of this set is Royal Blue blending out to purple (see screeny - hope it gives a decent image).
The Soulcloth Shoulders are a virtually perfect match for the top, apart from a slightly odd greenish tip to them. I've also found the shoulders from the BWL mage raid set fit pretty well too.

I'm still hunting the boots, but found that Abyss Walkers are a decent, easy to find match in the meantime.

I've taken the Gossamer Belt from another set I'm working on, as it gave a cleaner fit than the Windwalker Sash.

Gloves of Piety match much better than the set piece gloves - can't argue with that!

Eternal Bindings - taken from another set, because it blends the gloves to the top very nicely.

Junior Technician 3rd Grade Goggles - close enough and very cool glasses :)

BTW, can anyone ID that belt in Droweina's screenshot? I can't find it anywhere (Edit: found it: http://www.wowhead.com/item=72314#. )

Perfect set for female mages and warlocks.
Be careful though, as most of the pieces are from quest rewards.

Fitting pieces:
1h Sword: 偷来的虚灵刀 (Because it sheathes on the back)
Offhand Frail: 地卜师魔棒 (Because it looks like a staff) or 嵌骨石棺之匙 (Purple buttplug :D)
Wand: 抄写员的羽毛笔
Helm: 丝质巫师帽 (Because it is a wizard hat!)
Shoulders: 毁灭者的衬肩
Belt: 刺着字母的腰带 (Because it fits the hat and the set overall)

I've found out that this transmogrification set goes well with 元素合鸣肩胄 and 元素合鸣束带! I'll upload a screenshot of how it looks on a Pandaren Mage.
