My take -- This would be amazing for lower ranking teams. I'm currently at 1449 and I'm making about 200 points per week. This would allow me to update my gear sooner so instead of taking a month to save up for a piece of S3, I would be able to get it in 3 Wintergrasp wins, if that gets even makes it to the live realms. Honestly, this will probably have a debuff of a couple days before you can win it again, thats saying that it even makes it to the live realms. Wintergrasp seemed fun before but this is EXTREME! Blizzard said that they definatly had some good rewards for Wintergrasp but this is beyond my expectations. Wintergrasp is going to own every BG and world PvP objective EVER!. I guess we'll just have to wait...

Last I herd there was an Arena point bonus with this as well, what happened to that?

There seems to be a 2 mark version aswell, if you didn't get to rank 2. If you didn't do anything, you won't get any marks at all, unlike battlegrounds

do you have to be in a raid group to get this honor? cuz i was there as a single and we won. and didnt get 5000 honor . i also never got any wintergrasp marks of honor. i even killed a couple enemy players .and it promoted me to rank 1. then died a couple times.. killed some more and promoted me to rank 1... again.. my rank either expired or cancelled when i died or something is bugged and i should report it or something

everything ive been reading states that you get your first rank after 3 kills. then after 10 more you get a second rank. my rank keeps resetting and im not getting honor for staying till the end. winning or losing. even though im killing horde and getting catapults(first rank siege unit) and bombing enemy units with them.. or is it because im lvl 77 and not lvl 80?

what am i doing wrong plz.. this sux

I haven't played a whole bunch in this battleground but from what I have gathered the higher your rank the more honor you get, I once did nothing and got no honor, and tis weekend I got to rank 2 and got 5k honor. I don't know if this is true for every one, but I like it for me.

That bonus if you win (3000 honor) and the bonus if you lose (1200 honor) have they cancelled it, i dont get it anymore and it sux :(
