Blizzard should really buf this spell a lot to make Voidwalker tanking possible.

Blizzard really needs to fix the auto-casting on this. For whatever reason, the voidwalker will just decide to not cast it every now and then. Considering this is the ~only~ ability they have at lower levels, there is no reason that they shouldn't be spamming at any and every given moment until I turn auto-cast off. This is extremely vexing, and can be the cause of many deaths.

If it really bothers you, you can just macro it to spammable ability.

/cast shadowbolt
/cast Torment

(Or /petcast)
So everytime you spam Sbolt it also casts torment. (note: Does not work on imps firebolt(atleast didnt on patches before 4.0) properly so dont try it)

Keep in mind, that in most cases will stop autocasting at certain manacost if there is other special abilities (this case void's taunt) just like hunters pet does unless you force it. So it will stop autocasting if the next torment would bring your voids mana under the cost of taunt.

This is actually a really high damaging move for a pet, my void walker at 71 (non buffed, destruction) does just over 1.4k crit and just over 700 normal, and while it seems to only be around 30% of his dps I think the issue with it not casting as soon as it's off cooldown might be dampening it.

For some reason this pierces through Anzu's self banish. Try it yourself before you down vote me; Anzu self banished at 2% and in 2 Torments my Voidwalker killed him. Very strange. I wonder if it can pierce other immunity effects?

edit: Just tested it, it also goes through Paladin's Divine Shield!

Redesigned and renamed from Torment in Patch 7.0 to be a spammable AoE life-drain instead of a single target threat attack. This will hit nearby neutral mobs as well as mobs that are not in combat.

This sound annoyed me for a very long time, but today I finally decided to mute it.

So, here is our file path and name: \Sound\Spells\mangle_impact.ogg

Our sound: Mangle_Impact/mangle-impact

And now you can easily disable this sound: just make empty TXT file in World of Warcraft\Sound\Spells folder (create these subfolders if you do not have them) and rename it to mangle_impact.ogg

P.S.: World of Warcraft\Sound\Doodad\be_sconce01.ogg - warlock imp idle sound... and it is used by all World of Warcraft imps!
