Evoke the energy of Wild Spirits at the target location, applying Wild Mark to all enemy targets within the area for 15 sec, increasing damage you deal to them by 5%.
Anyone know yet if there is a max target cap to this?
While the Wild Spirits are active, each damaging ability you use against a target affected by the Wild Mark strikes the target for (45% of Attack power) Nature damage.
Will this ability trigger multiple times if the ability hits multiple times over the duration, like Stampede?

While the Wild Spirits are active, each damaging ability you or your pet use against a target in the area will strike up to 5 nearby targets for (38.5% of Attack power) Nature damage.
Does it only gets triggered off single target abilities? What if you hit 5 affected targets with Multi-shot? Would it then trigger 25 hits of this extra nature dmg to each target?

BM Hunter. Trying to get this into my rotation wasn't too bad...
But then I tried to implement

into my rotation.
Adding what basically amounts to doing 3 traps into my rotation goofed everything up.
So I macroed/keybound my
野性之魂
with my
野性守护
:
/cast Aspect of the Wild
/cast Wild Spirits
This allowed me to single keybind click to cast Aspect of the Wild and put Wild Spirits on my cursor location. They are both on two minute CD, so they match up to be cast together. I also left them both out to be cast individually if need be (such as in Torghast when there are CD reduction buffs).
Along with this, to use Soulforge Embers with a one button macro:
/castsequence reset=combat Tar Trap, Flare
I have had a few issues with using several other versions of Soulforge Embers macros that combine both, and entering instances seems to cause problems with the flare going out before the tar trap.
Another issue that you have to be aware of, is that if you cast the tar trap and it does not proc before you cast the flare, it will not proc the legendary.
Also, if you start combat using Soulforge Embers, for some reason it won't proc. You seem to have to be in combat before you attempt to use the legendary.

My pet doesn't seem to be triggering the proc on this. Casting on a mob then letting my pet go off doesn't trigger any damage.

so everytime i shot cobra shot and kill command, it will strike up to 5 targets for each skill?
basically we can do single target rotation for aoe right?

Does anyone have a definitive (or at least current) list of which spells this
actually
affects? The tooltip implies it affects all abilities, but that's clearly not true.
Specifically, it doesn't seem to affect any abilities that do AoE damage (like Explosive Shot), abilities that hit multiple targets (like Multi-Shot - meaning it's actually a DPS
loss
to cast multi-shot instead of Arcane Shot while Wild Spirits is up, even with 8+ targets present), nor does it seem to interface with Trick Shots (e.g., Rapid Fire still gets shot only at your main target, and then ricochets to another 5, even if there are 25 targets within Wild Spirits, which
should
cause multiple targets to be hit directly by Rapid Fire, potentially ricocheting to different ones).
If it's only meant to apply to single-target direct-damage abilities, Blizzard really should change the tooltip to acknowledge that.

I don't know why, but Wild Spirits claims to apply Hunter's Mark to all targets. But it applies Wild Mark, and the only way to find out what Wild Mark does is by reading the debuff on the enemies. This is weird since I can read in the comments about the tooltip once said "applies Wild Mark".
Somewhere in a patch there must have been a typo. This is somewhat troubling to me since it makes the ability very unclear in what it actually does just from reading its tooltip.
