If you’re wondering and just so happen to find this AP right before the floor 6 boss - yes, it does work against them if you can rush to them fast enough. :)

I was offered this on the final empowered guard right before entering the portal for Floor 6 (boss floor), while I was tempted to see if I could carry the interface panel through the portal, I didn't want to chance it, so I just selected it and went to the 6th floor, skipped buying anything with anima, and went right to the boss. I was able to kill the boss.

If you are wondering, you can in fact go back and still interact and purchase items from the anima vendor on the sixth floor if you skip him to go right after the boss, if you aren't able to down the boss using the immunity and you die (or feign/cloak to get out of combat). You have nothing to lose, go all in.

I got this from an anima hoard from the vendor while staring at the boss. From taking the power to looting the boss was exactly 90 seconds and without having taken a single HP damage.

If you somehow get this Anima Power from a Plundered Anima Cell you buy from the Floor 6 Broker, you've pretty much won the lottery.

Even if you don't have the DPS to kill the boss before the buff wears down, it's still a massive advantage.

Heck, I'd say that the chance of getting Crumbling Aegis is way well worth the Phantasma cost.

I love carefully crafting a build to kill the end boss, killing everything, looting everything methodically and only to get this power from a Plundered Anima Cell purchased at the floor 6 broker, throwing all strats and sense out the window, popping ALL the damage cooldowns and killing that boss in under 30 seconds while taking no damage. It's pretty awesome.

This was my best run so far in Torghast.

The final boss on Floor 5 had the 崩毁之护 choice.

Instead of choosing it right away, I optioned to "hide" it and then proceeded to Floor 6. When I went to the vendor
I was about to make a purchase, but this time, for the first time, it asked "Are you sure you want to purchase this".
I said no, because I think if you do it over writes the 崩毁之护. Anyway it was a good decision because after
I killed the boss I got the achievement 为了囤货！ (Complete Torghast with more than 1000 unspent phantasma).

I killed the boss 束链者格鲁斯 in less than 2 minutes on Layer 6 and the first 90 seconds were "free". He dropped:

1] 485 Soul Ash
2] 噬渊爬行者 (battle pet)
3] 稳定的幻心诱饵的回忆
4] 毒素注射器的回忆

I also received the champion 暮叶 on this run. As I say, best run so far.

I would highly recommend that you choose the 崩毁之护 if you are lucky enough to get it at the end of Floor 5,
hide it, go to Floor 6 and then use it right before you fight the boss to maximize that 90 seconds.
