These rings form either a clockwise or counter-clockwise spiral pattern ("/console cameradistancemaxfactor 5" is tremendously helpful, as is an overhead PoV). The easiest way to avoid being hit is to run circles around the boss in the "sweet spot", which is about 7-10yds out. Our melee was able to auto attack the boss while circling to avoid the rings.

The rings split at about 12-15yds (just before the edge of the platform) and head in opposite directions, making it virtually impossible to dodge them if you are hugging the rails.

EPIC HINT FOR PALADINS AND MAGES - When boss uses "Attenuation " and you know you cant avoid the rings, you CAN Iceblock / Bubble + Hand of Protection! You will be immune to all the rings, and the Debuff you get from these will reset before his second one! Other classes please down downvote :D

For Druids, you can cast Symbiosis on a Mage and get Ice Block to use when you can't avoid the attenuation rings. The Attenuation has a 12 sec. duration while Ice Block is only 10 sec. so wait a couple of seconds before casting. Ice Block has a 30 sec. cooldown so it should be available the next time Attenuation is cast. (Look at Hamad's comments above).
