The stones can be found at about 43, 15 just south of the river like the quest says. The second half of the quest is at 25, 15 at the top of the tower located there.

Watch out of the mobs there they are immune to fear and there lots of theme close to gather.

As the picture indicates, the stone you are looking for is blue, not red as the quest text states.

It's not really clear, but just so folks know the cords listed above are for the Ghostlands.. Also its a blue stone, when you pickup the stone it will tell you what to do next.

Did this quest tonight (July 3rd 2007)...the quest text says the stone is BLUE and the stones at the coords above are indeed BLUE

this quest was so hard, i know for some its easy but ive never played a caster before and damn i died a heap. Any how i ended up dieing at the bottom of the stairs and rezzing at the top killed the 2 guards in the room.

then summoned the void walker (had a health stone ready, Killed it and ran as fast as i could to the bridge and out of there. Mobs in the area are Melee type class with melee damage so hits extra on cloth (us warlocks) They are immune to Fear so you cannot crowd control.

Essentially this quest was designed to prove that you need a tank at your side AKA Void walker. So the moral of the story is 'Use your void walker to take the damage'

Anyhow just my 2 cents

Completed this quest at level 40 and go 4350 xp, I bet it's even higher if you complete it later, same goes for the next quest in the chain.

Just to make sure everyone is aware -- the stone is located in the GHOSTLANDS. I spent ages running round in Eversong trying to find it, but it isn't there ^^

When i took this quest, it said in the text that the stone is BLUE and it was. When I picked it up.

The follow up q, is horrible, it's YUCK. It's reaaaally hard ...

43,6 - 16,5 is where I found the Void Stone.
Just so everyone knows, There is more than one stone to pick, and the stones are BLUE!

This quest was a bit tricky. I spend ages trying to find the coord on the mapl, until i realized the stone was located in the GHOSTLANDS.
So I followed the river to the ghostlands, and there they were :)

Quick question guys, due to complications I had to abandon this quest, but I would like to do it again. Can anyone tell me what I have to do to get this quest once more, because Talionia is not offering the quest anymore.

the level ?? was because you were ten levels below, and its undead not giant, i shackled it.. it was a huge chain :O

Note that you cannot begin this quest line if you're any race but Blood Elf. If, like me, you're an Undead who headed over to the Silvermoon area to level from 6+, the Warlock trainer will send you back to Undercity to complete the Undead version of this quest. Not too bad considering how close Undercity is, but perhaps much worse if you're an Orc.

If you drain soul while killing to get to the voidstone you can immediately summon your voidwalker

The stones for this quest are NOT just south of the stream that crosses the Dead Scar in Eversong Woods. It's in the Ghostlands.

I think that this quest & all the "Return to..." quests have been removed from the game. though the message does not appear on this page.

[While I'm certain your imp has proven a useful and sometimes entertaining servant, it is time you mastered a more powerful demon: the voidwalker.

Travel down the Dead Scar until it is crossed by the Elrendar River. Just south of the river, locate one of the blue glowing stones and take it. Your path will be revealed there.]
