I'm guessing that the quest you picked up is the initial 'quest' you get to go to Ravenholdt Manor, where you have to 'prove' yourself (either by using detect traps in the cave or vanishing from the mob if you open the chest). That quest leads to the syndicate badges that allow you to gain friendly faction with Ravenholdt. This quest is different, and can only be picked up when you are lvl 50 (as is stated above). The rogue trainer(s) have a grey ! for me at lvl 47.

Since where to start the quest for the Horde isnt mentioned above, its the Rogue trainer. Hope this helps someone,

ok im a lvl 52 rogue and i went to the guy in IF to get this quest but i couldnt pick it up, like there was no quest there to be done? is there something i have missed? im a human do i need to go to SW?

In case it was unclear, this is a rogue only quest. No other classes can pick it up.

This quest can be picked up for Horde from Miles Dexter, the Rogue Trainer in the Undercity (85,72).

Since nobody else seems to be able to post this, the entrance to the Manor area is at 75, 23 in Hillsbrad.

I am a lvl 51 Blood Elf Rogue and I don't get this quest, regardless of the City. Maybe it was removed with 4.0? :/

I looked in Orgrimmar, Undercity and Silvermoon City. And even in Ravenholdt. No Quest anywhere.
