The elemental he summons is a level 45 earth elemental. He is immune to nature damage from what I can tell. It's worth doing this entire quest line to get the stopwatch trinket. It has helped me catch more than one ship/zepplin as they pull away.

That elemental was really easy to kill as a 41 fire spec mage.... so easy!! didnt even use a potion

At lvl 39, I had help killing him with toons not in my group. I didn't strike first, but I still got the shackles. Actually my first trinket - And it helped me out as soon as I got it (HIGH LVL HORDE pooped out of somewhere).

DEFINITELY a chain worth completing.

soloed by 40 lvl rogue, was really hard but not impossible :)

I solo'd the elemental with my 39 Enh shaman. He hits sow and fairly hard, resisted a great deal, but it was doable. Give the quest a whirl.

Does this stack with mount speed? So if you're on a standard level 40 mount, will you have 100% greater run speed for 15 seconds?

Affliction Warlock lvl 40 should solo this without any problem... Just keep him feared all the time with all possible debufs on him. I was surprised that he didn't resist almost anything...

Just soloed as a 41 frost mage. Very simple fight shoot a few frostblots frost nova fire plast cone of cold = dead.

Completed it as a 39 retribution paladin. It gave me 6900 XP but it was a tough fight.

I have leveled up hunters, priests, death knights and warriors to 80 but none of them could handle mobs six levels higher and end up with 100% health. Paladins need some fixin' imho!

when you do get done go up and tick off alliance buy raiding loch Modan then when a higer lv comes up he cant sumon his mount because he is in combat then use the 灵巧秒表 and run then sumon you mount and excape ( i have done this a few times on my 70 lock a lv 80 comes up and i run havent died from PVP there yet)
