I somehow missed picking up this quest from Elder Finnan either during (or after?) The Sweat of Our Brow, and then later had to figure out where I left off on the Tricky Spriggans section of Sojourner of Ardenweald. Elder Finnan is located inside a hollowed out tree (with a ramp leading up to it) at /way 55.81, 23.49. Just in case anyone else missed picking up the quest like I did!

I did the quest before this one but now I can't find the NPC to accept this quest. He is not in the tree or anywhere else. I also cannot find his tool when killing bristlebark mobs, in case that item would start the quest. Not sure how to continue that questchain
