Azerite Infused Slag rare is located in 纳兹米尔 The Far Reach subzone on Zandalar isle.
It is to the west from Necropolis. You will see a chunk of Azerite in the ground. Hit the chunk to start the fight.

On This WQ You need to kill 灌注艾泽里特的炉渣. His location is 32 27 The Far Reach.

This quest does not count towards Champions of Azeroth emissary of 4 azerite world quests.

Killed w/o WQ and he counted towards achievement!

If you're like me and he's not at the spot marked on the map -
Run towards the ruins of Necropolis, the world will change and become a little darker, and then he appears as a piece of azerite.

However, I can't get close enough to him without him disappearing again.
(Maybe the war campaign storyline is blocking it? wouldn't be the first time it's blocked a world quest)
Edit: after several tries I managed to tip toe just within range and lure him closer to me without me changing maps.
