This is going to take some time (and gear) I think.

This is tuned for the new raid tier (that isn't out yet), and even then, I'm sure it's meant to be difficult as it's not called "challenging hidden artifact appearance" for nothing.

Im a 893 feral (which i think at this point is about the average ilvl) and this is seemingly impossible. I understand that this is supposed to be difficult but i think that its way to over tuned. Im just going to wait till tomorrow morning and pray to anything that will listen that its not just broken.

also I've ran this about 12 times with no success in sight

According to some people they seem to think it requires 930 item level gear due to the Tomb of Sargeras's mythic difficulty dropping 930 gear. I realized the difficulty in this when I realized the Tomb of Sargeras's raid finder difficulty drops item level 880 gear and more.

This quest starts the scenario that leads to obtaining the challenge appearance for your artifact. Currently, these scenarios are incredibly difficult to the point where it might genuinely be impossible to complete unless you're better geared -- and by 'better geared,' I mean 910-920+ ilvl. Don't expect to make any headway until Tomb releases, is what I'm saying.

It would've been very nice to have the above communicated in-game before you were one-shot and came here to figure out what happened, but oh well.

This, and other, still be hard since it wasn't on PTR. Also guess they didn't think the tower would be competed this fast.

So while any is welcome to try these out, not many will be able to beat them right off the first day the tower being competed.

Who knows what else Blizz might do afterwards.

I'm a 910 elemental shaman and this is VERY challenging. My most successful pull was about 55% and I just couldn't keep up with how many buffs she had. I will say that earthquake was very important to interrupt the channeling imps, but I may need more gear before I can meet this dps check.

Update: I've been able to get her to 17% today. Like the guy who beat it above I highly recommend using the roots of shaladrasil if you have them, and combining it with the prydaz is actually very good.

next day update: .9%...i got it to .9% fml and earthquake isn't worth using

Ilvl 899-901 Unholy DK here, depending on which legendaries i have equipped, and I've tried five times now. First two times were wipes at about 75%, and the my last couple ive gotten her between 58-62%. The damage she does just become unhealable eventually, and that's coming from an Unholy DK that's usually pretty good at soloing things and self healing. And it takes a lot of damage to get her shields down, and it makes you want to blow your cooldowns on the shield to speed it up a bit, but honestly i think a better strategy might be to just dot her up and try to cleave/aoe her as you're killing the adds, because if you don't during that phase, she's going to get super empowered by the imps I think, and then you wanna blow your big cooldowns between shields. I don't think this is actually impossible. I feel like with some practice and taking the least amount of damage as possible, it can be down with a roughly 890-900 ilvl. But that's just my guess with only a handful of attempts in so far.

Did it as a 912 Fury Warrior in only a couple of tries. The trick to it I had was to go a full AoE build since the fight is primarily add control. Any self healing you can get through talents and legendaries is a bonus. Legendaries like Prydaz or similar are really useful, same with AoE legendaries. For tips on dealing with the fight, use CDs and Drums/Lust on pull to burn the first 3 adds and the boss as much as you can. Try to save one AoE CD though for the two adds that spawn shortly after. Kicking/healing these adds is a priority. The other priority adds are the set of 3 imps she spawns every now and then that cast damaging bolts at you, both the shadow bolt and the fire bolt ones. Lastly, try to kick the boss as soon as she can so it doesn't start doing insane damage. Other than the just dodge the boulder and kill the boss. For sure a tough fight, but doable if done right. For Fury Warrior specific tips, I ran with my Whirlwind Belt 纳因图斯的脊骨 and my Healing Bracers 玛诺洛斯的滴血镣铐. My talent build was 1111232, with focus on trying to use Odyn's Fury and Battle Cry if I could to instakill the shadow bolt and the fire bolt imps.

Hey y'all, ilvl 900 fire mage here. My best attempt so far has been 35%, and I'll try to describe what I've learned about the encounter so far. I've also seen notes of weird scaling issues, so I'll make a point here to say that at the time of this writing Agatha has 94 million health for me.

Agatha is a fight in two phases (that I can tell) and the first phase is within the lower area. When the fight begins, Agatha will cast uninterruptible, small damage casts (暗影猛刺) at you, as well as medium damage aoes for several seconds whenever an add dies (阿加莎的狂怒) that you will need move out of constantly, and shortly after will summon three Smoldering Imps that also deal small amounts of fire damage (火矢) - these can (unless you're a poor feral druid :( ) be mostly cleaved down during the fight. She will continue to summon 1-3 of these at various times during the fight.

The first major mechanic that Agatha will produce is summoning two Imp Servants from the back of the room. These Imp Servants will run up to nearby Agatha and channel a spell onto her that slowly heals her and grants her a stacking damage buff for the remainder of the fight. These can be interrupted normally (though those with longer cooldown interrupts might want to save them for her next mechanic) and can also be stopped from casting through disorients and stuns, in which case they will resume casting roughly 10 seconds afterwards and melee you in the meantime.

The next major mechanic will occur at roughly 50 seconds into the fight and periodically thereafter, in which Agatha will summon a (for me, 3.8 million HP I think) shield (黑暗之怒) that renders her uninterruptible and begin channeling a spell that deals quickly increasing damage to you. This shield must be broken and the spell interrupted ASAP.

The final major mechanic of phase 1 is that she will summon Umbral Imps, varying between 1-3 (there is a pattern, the first is always 3, second 1 with two other imps, and third with 2, but I'm unsure the pattern from then on out or if it changes in phase 2) of them. These imps render Agatha immune - they must be killed to progress with the fight, and if they're alive while her shield is still up, you're probably going to die. For me, these each had a similar amount of health to the Imp Servants - about 2.2 million.

Additionally, throughout phase 1 she will summon Fuming Imps - these run to your position, and upon reaching you will do 瘟疫区域 that will explode for high damage and leave a pool of poison on the ground. While these can be killed to stop them from leaving puddles, my advice is to just move from them after they start their cast and place their puddles as best as possible.

At roughly 50%, Agatha will teleport up to the top of the ramp, immediately continues casting any spells and summoning any imps she would have been anyway, including shielding and summoning servants, and boulders will start rolling down the entire room taking up a third of the room for each lane. Additionally, small green aoe circles (邪能熔岩冲击) will appear underneath you throughout the rest of the fight (maybe spawned by imps?), dealing medium aoe damage. These mechanics will join all the previous mechanics, and the boulders deal lethal damage if you are ever hit by them, adding heavily to the movement in the fight. Theoretically from 50% to 0 the fight remains the same, but as I said I haven't gotten the kill yet - good luck, and if you get further let me know! Zayren in the comments below (thanks!) notes that apparently she will continue teleporting as the fight drags on in phase 2, potentially based on a timer - it definitely starts at 35%ish regardless - this means keeping the original area more clear of puddles might be more important than I thought.

My own advice that I can give - for fire mage, 龙息术 (esp. with the legendary 达克利的龙焰之冠) helps keep the Imp Servants from getting too out of control. Additionally, 塞弗斯的秘密 might be super useful because of the high amount of movement + the many ways to proc it on this fight. Also, beware of the lava on the sides of the room, including those rocks that look like they might be safe - it hurts a lot and you'll probably wipe if you touch it or get knocked back into it from the Fuming Imps cast. Additionally, make health potions or buy them and bring them - that bit of health might make the difference especially for classes with little self healing. I've also been trying out 普瑞达兹，萨瓦里克的杰作 instead of the Pyroblast bracers 太阳之王的华盖之缚 - the upside is that the damage is wayyyy more manageable with Prydaz, so if you've got it, you might want to use it! That said, the Pyro bracers contribute a lot to dps, and its easy to get overwhelmed in phase 2 without them (especially for bursting down the shield).

Good luck everyone! It's certainly tuned for higher than we are but we can try our hardest anyway.

Edit: I forgot to mention, as of right now cooldowns and Sated debuffs don't reset - its gonna be a long wait inbetween pulls for the Unholy/Fire/Ele players. Hopefully that gets hotfixed. Also, added some spell IDs - I'll try and find the appropriate creature and the rest of the spell IDs and add them later. Additionally, fixed some assumptions that I had that were wrong.

Opinionated Edit: Most people who seem to be killing this burn down phase 1 incredibly quickly (even before or immediately after the first set of Umbral Imps come out) and also end the fight with 750k+ dps. I'm not saying that you can't do it if you can't sustain 750-800k aoe dps while moving, but that's unfortunately the kills I've seen, so :\.(##RESPBREAK##)2##DELIM##Wowhead##DELIM##

Just finished.

General Tips:

Think about the fight in broad strokes and then look at what you have in your toolkit to address them. For this, you want enough burst AOE to eliminate the small imps quickly, enough single target burst to burn through the shield before more Umbral Imps (shadow) show up, AND enough sustain to survive the unavoidable damage.
Umbral Imps make Agatha immune
You must burn through the shield as quickly as possible, even if she is being healed. If umbral imps spawn while the shield is up you will almost certainly die since the pulsing damage ramps up very quickly.
Packs of non healing imps spawn about once a minute. Try to have something up for each one or else you won't be able to swap to the Imp Servants (healers) quickly.
Fuming imps (exploding, leave aoe on the ground) are deceptively important to kill early on. The pools that they leave behind slow you a lot, which makes getting to Agatha and dodging balls harder in phase 2. They only cast their explosion if they are in melee range of you, so roots and disorients can buy you time. At least try to kill them in phase 1, when there's a lot less going on.
Likewise, Imp Servants don't heal unless they get close enough to Agatha. Slows, disorients, roots, all buy you time.

With that, what worked for me based on what I had available as a mage:

I think self-sustain is incredibly valuable here. I used blink chest (贝洛瓦尔的最后一搏), but would have preferred 普瑞达兹，萨瓦里克的杰作. I found that 闪现术 and 烈焰护体 were not strong enough on their own once the boss reaches 20 or so stacks. Either of these will let you fight for as long as you need (my kill took almost 11 minutes) If you have neither, consider swapping on some leech gear if it doesn't lower your dps too significantly. 塞露布拉，暗夜的双子 (crafted legendary) may also work.
寒冰屏障 to soak a ball if you are out of position. 灸灼 is too dangerous to rely on since you don't have a healer here to top you up, and by the time you get to phase 2, you'll have lots of residual damage incoming.
Consider 寒冰结界 for double frost nova. Frost nova gives you 8 seconds to deal with a priority target (e.g. dealing with shield). Two frost nova means you'll always have one available. 冰霜之环 is too clunky to use against caster imps.
Dragons breath helm (达克利的龙焰之冠) works very well here for dealing with imps. Alternatives might be 燃火之手 for ~1 min combust cd, or 科拉隆的燃烧之触 for execute dmg and consistent 烈焰风暴 procs sub 30%.
Even without dragon's breath helm, remember that dragon's breath will interrupt the 小鬼仆从s channel.
法拉米尔的禁忌魔典 works very well for the packs of small imps. It always comes off cd just in time and will bring the packs down to half health (and has a very large effect). 基尔加丹的炽燃决心 may work but won't be as consistent due to longer cd.
炽燃苍穹之怒 also works quite well though is less reliable. Occasionally it will kill off low health mobs for you so you don't have to waste a cast on them.
I recommend 烈焰之地 over living bomb. Living bomb is hard to spread around as 阿加莎 doesn't spread dots very easily.
镜像 over 能量符文. Rune is too hard to use later on when you need to be mobile. 影像s continue to do damage while your dodging balls. Plus, images can soak damage for you, allowing you to regen some health.
流星 is great for bursting down the shield. It should be up for every shield.
生拌熊肉糜 food gives you a nice boost in mobility in the second phase.
时间扭曲: If you lack self sustain, consider using it on pull, the idea being that 阿加莎 will have less stacks and phase 1 is the only time when you won't be moving around that much. Otherwise, save heroism for the last 25% or so (it felt like more and more balls appeared as phase 2 dragged on).

While I dislike posting my stats, if you want a rough idea for how to pace your cds I will say that it took me around 11 minutes or so at 905 ilevel. I hit phase 2 around the 3-4 minute mark without hero. This was with me playing defensively, so your kill may be sub 10 minutes (i.e. recommend saving hero for p2).

Please keep in mind that just because I've done it a certain way doesn't mean that it's the only way. I've tried to keep things general to avoid people walking away thinking, "well the sample size of 1 on this wowhead post used X and Y legendary so it must be impossible with all the others". Obviously I've listed far more legendaries here than I could actually equip on a single attempt. Play around with what you have and make it work for your strengths!

Why on earth would they'd give feral druids a challenge with so much AOE 😭 This scenario is a nightmare as an 888 feral. I know how to play my class...been feral since vanilla. This is just nuts. I'm glad we have a real challange but I hate that once again it will Ben super easy for mythic raiders and certian classes and totally unavailable to others. I'll be curious to see if ferals can complete this any time soon

I really hope Blizz does not listen to the masses about it being overtuned. Things don't need to be easy all the time, the artifact appearance has no bearing on DPS or raid requirements. If you want a cosmetic look and Blizz wants to make it hard to obtain good. If it's to hard for you wait for better gear to drop and try again. Stop looking for Blizz to just give you everything.

And to believe everyone called me a troll for saying go nether disruptor, we could be killing world bosses that drop 890s. Got her to 60 percent as a 899 fire Mage. You need to kill the imps asap, then do 2 mil burst to her shield.

If you're a feral druid, just don't do this challenge. It is, right now, not possible for feral druids just due to the MASSIVE amount of AoE this requires. It -may- be possible with Tomb of Sargeras gear, but again the encounter itself requires a lot of AoE damage that our class just can't put out - feral druids were not designed and do not have high AoE damage. Blizzard should have really tested this encounter more to make sure it actually fit in with the classes they assigned it to.

Edit: It's apparently ~possible~ but only with an ilevel of 900+ and very specific legendary items (Luffa appears to be a favourite). I still stand by what I said - this should have been tested, and also made clear this is tuned for a higher item level (ToS, which won't be released for a while still...). This is not a challenge, it's a gear check, plain and simple.

Tried this as 904 equipped Outlaw rogue. It feels impossible. The imps are too spread out to cleave effectively, and even trying Valeera's pants for sustain I couldn't keep myself up (not to mention the drain on energy with the high cost of feint means you're damned either way.

I could see this being fairly easy on a self healing spec with strong sustained aoe but it seems ridiculously difficult for specs that have neither.

Completed today as a 903 equipped Elemental Shaman.
Other posts have gone over the mechanics of the fight itself in detail so I won't go over them, however there are some things that could help other ele shamans, and possibly other specs, kill her;

Lightning Rod build is an absolute must. The fight revolves around add control. The faster/more efficiently you deal with the imps, the more damage you will be able to put onto the boss. I hope you've been collecting that haste/crit gear for your AoE set.
Save Heroism/Bloodlust if you can. The first phase (until 50%) can last a long time without it causing you much trouble. Heroism towards the end of the fight, when things are becoming hectic, you're having to watch out for boulders and adrenaline is starting to kick in, is very helpful to get the fight over with before you make a mistake.
Move from boulders and exploding imps but not much else. Elemental Shaman damage suffers greatly from prolonged movement. Aside from the exploding imps (which do a fair amount of damage) and the boulders (which will insta-kill you), the incoming damage for most of the fight is negligible, provided you are keeping her damage buff stacks to a minimum. Once you reach 15-20% however, the damage will start to be more than you can handle. At this point you should attempt to avoid damage whenever possible.
Save Stormkeeper for AoE ONLY. Might sound like an obvious one, but it can be tempting to blow stormkeeper when Power of the Maelstrom procs and no imps are up, for some burst damage on the boss. Don't do this. Due to the way the fight focuses so heavily on add control and burst cleave/aoe, Stormkeeper is by far your most important DPS cooldown. Save it for periods where many imps are up, most importantly the ones that give Agatha an immunity shield. A well timed set of Stormkeeper charged chain lightnings can clear the room of imps in a matter of seconds.
Use 莎拉达希尔的根须 if you have them. Seriously. This is actually the most important tip for elemental shamans I can give. The amount of healing these put out over the course of the fight is phenomenal, and will likely save you close to 50 casts of Healing Surge. I had these sitting in my bags for the first 10-15 attempts I made at Agatha before deciding to try them out. The first attempt with them, I reached 4%, the next attempt, she was dead. I have also heard that 普瑞达兹，萨瓦里克的杰作 has a similar effect of making the fight much easier.
土元素 can save your life. When the fight starts becoming very hectic towards the end, and Agatha and her imps start dishing out sizeable amounts of damage, using your earth elemental can give you a full minute of freedom to focus on killing imps, damaging the boss and dealing with mechanics instead of having to worry about defensives and self-healing. Use with heroism to get the most out of this time.

It is a very tough fight and obviously not designed to be beaten easily before the Tomb of Sargeras and T20 is available, but at least now I can confirm it is possible as a 903 Elemental Shaman.

As a Feral Druid that is currently 892, I can happily say that this quest is soooo broken for Ferals. Who was the genius at Blizzard who thought it a good idea to assign such an AOE-heavy fight to one of the worst AOE classes in the game, even with AOE-specific talents and gear?
I got her to about 70% health before I wiped. From what I can tell and from the very kind soul who posted the video of the 913 geared Feral, the main objective of the fight is to stay mobile, burst down her shield and stun/burst AOE adds that spawn while keeping a decent sustained DPS on Agatha.
I sincerely hope that Blizzard either starts to design spec-specific scenarios (And maybe realises not to place a single-target-DPS-based spec in an AOE-based fight), or, god-forbid, they tune it down and make it easier.
This is really disappointing, as I was looking forward to content that would actually test my skills as a feral rather than act as a DPS/gear-check.

I've been playing WoW since mid-late TBC and full on then into Wrath. Reached the very top of Raiding, so I know I'm capable of playing this game.

Admittedly, unless you havea varied selection of Legendaries and a very high ilvl, this is impossible to do and complete until ToS comes out.

All that damage as a Fury Warrior is just p*ssing me off. Absolutely nothing I can do to mitigate outside of a few spelsl that don't even last that long. It's all down to high gear, spamming AoE in well timed and controlled bursts rotating your CD's and CC effectively.

I get "how" to do it.

Unless you're one of the few classes who have it easy, don't bother unless you've got 900-910+ and the right legendaries.

I['m delighted that such difficult content now exists but completely and totally infuriated that there is f*ck all I can do until my ilvl goes up.

Boy do I miss the days when smart gearing and the right maths, were enough to make you excel in all area's.

Now it's mostly ilvl based. How sad.

I'm an 870 Fury Warrior and I went down laughably quick even understanding and executing the proper mechanics, in what little time I survived anyway. All about iLevel instead of mechanics it would seem. Back to gearing for me.

Feral 901 - Completed. I spent roughly 15 tries wiping randomly and the last 3 tries on sub 30%. What I've done differently was to keep track of the boss's energy level, and make sure he was fully dotted at around 90% so I could Shred him 2-3 times during the shield. The shield would always be down (interruptable) before the Umbral Imps spawned. This lowered the total damage taken by a ridiculous amount.

I also stopped rooting the 小鬼仆从s since they pretty much helped lowering the cost of 横扫 after using 痛击 which made everything melt a bit faster. I also dropped 斜掠s in between 范围效果 spam to get some mobs to die quicker for 猛虎之怒 chains. 痛击 was 20.8% of my damage, 斜掠 20.8% too, 割裂 15.1%, 横扫 13.3% and 撕碎 6.6%. Can't link a picture it seems, sorry!

Lastly, I've been told you can cheese the event as a Druid since Thornstalk Barbs, G'Hanir's Blossom and Sunblossom Pollen appear to work in there, didn't try it myself though.

Although ilvl 900 is already decently high, I'm hoping it shows that you don't need to be 913+ like the other videos out there. You'll also see I'm using 共生刺细胞生物 but honestly, it wasn't needed. The belt was 31% of my healing, Regrowth was 69%.

Hi guys, just did it on my Warrior Fury. My equipped ilvl is 898 only, but for this i was 891 (screenshots bellow).
My tips are: If you have the 戈隆獠牙战争号角 Trinket, use it. It's basically 100% uptime with all those imps spawning all the time!
I do NOT recommend using 凝结的命运, that's because this fight goes really well if you ALWAYS have both your 鲁莽 and 奥丁之怒 up at the same time to combo when she spawns all the minions.

Legendaries used: 普瑞达兹，萨瓦里克的杰作 (I'd say it's a must to use EITHER 普瑞达兹，萨瓦里克的杰作 or the Legendary Wrists 玛诺洛斯的滴血镣铐, which i don't own) and 塞弗斯的秘密.

My talent build was 1111232

I really did not get any kind of pattern such as "always focus the healers" or something alike. Instead, i made sure i always had SOME kind of CC (战争践踏*Tauren*, 震荡波 or 破胆怒吼). For Phase 2, try always to slow the healers before she reaches her at all times. When the absorb shield is up, you should prioritize burning it down and interrupting her above ALL ELSE, except when there are Umbral Imps, for she'll be immune, at this time you should (as metioned above) burn everything down with your Battle Cry+Odyn's Fury.

Also, everything got easier when i unlocked the new "死亡与荣耀" talent. So you might want to go out there and farm some AP before keeping it up.

910 Unholy DK here. (The only unholy in the world perhaps? Seems like it sometimes.)

Haven't seen a DK perspective yet so here's mine. First of all, ~~I haven't killed it just yet but I did get to 4%~~ (Got her tonight!) so I still feel I'm qualified to give my take on the fight. If I come up with anything else when I do get the kill I will come back and update here.

The most important part of the fight is the exploding imps. The damage they do is not unmanageable, but the slowing puddle will absolutely murder you. Killing these needs to be your top priority. They spawn every 30 seconds-ish; the boss will shoot out a little green blob and the imp will spawn where it lands. Kite it and kill it. It is possible to kind of run in a circle while still meleeing and the imp will get kind of juked out and never start its cast - once you get the hang of this it is probably the best way to go. If they do start casting you want to pet stun or death grip to get them to stop/reset the cast so that you can kill them. A puddle in a bad spot will wipe you.

After the exploding imps, the next priority should be the shield and follow-up interrupt. Agatha casts this whenever her energy reaches 100, which is about every 50 seconds. The damage from her channel can stack up pretty high if you don't get on the shield, but it is not completely necessary to save cooldowns or anything for it. Personally I used my Draught of Souls on the shield every time it was up, but the times without it were no more difficult. If there are a lot of adds up during the shield, its still good to Defile and cleave everything down along with the shield. One important thing to note: if the Umbral Imps are up (any number of them), then the boss will be immune to all damage. You must kill the Umbral Imps first; cleave is still good if there are more than just one up though.

If there are no exploding imps up, and Agatha is not channeling her shield, your next concern is the Imp Servants. A pair of these spawns 12 seconds into the encounter and every 46 seconds thereafter. They run from the back of the room to the boss, and then begin channeling on her. This channel increases her damage and also heals for a small amount. Neither of these effects is terribly significant unless you really mess it up, earning it the third priority. Slows can be used while the imps are running to the boss to give yourself more time - they wile not start channeling until they are about 10 yards away. However, I found that just waiting for them to get in range, gripping one over (or arcane torrent both of them - any interrupt will cause them to melee you for about 5 seconds before channeling again), and then cleaving them and any other adds present down worked best. Another important note: make sure you do not use your interrupt on the Servants if the shield is coming up soon. You don't want to be stuck healing through 10-15 seconds of the increasing damage from the shield. It is possible but not good.

The final ability you need to watch out for is the other imps spawned by Agatha. All these do is cast fireballs at you, but the damage is increased each cast. For that reason, they need to be killed as soon as possible, provided everything else has been dealt with.

As others have stated, once Agatha reaches 50% she will teleport to the back of the room, and from that point continue teleporting between the front, middle (starting point), and back of the room. The timeframe for this appears to be about 45 seconds to a minute. In addition to this, firey boulders will drop into the back of the room and then roll along the length. Getting hit by these boulders without a major CD is a one-shot - this is why the slowing puddles are so bad. If you are in a puddle, it will be very difficult to dodge these boulders - especially in the back when you have little warning of where they will land. Of note however is that on the extreme edges of both the front and back of the room, it is possible to avoid the left and right boulders. This, combined with death grip, means that you can sort of camp out in the safe zone as long as no exploding imps are spawning.

All in all, the fight is about control. There is no enrage that anyone has encountered, you can take all day if you want, but if you start neglecting adds then your attempt isn't going to last much longer. Don't worry too much about your damage, just worry abou tkeeping the room clear of puddles by kiting and killing the exploding imps, and grouping up and cleaving down all the various adds that spawn.

Recommended talents: Ebon Fever, Epidemic, Clawing Shadows, Sludge Belcher, Lingering Apparition, Infected Claws, Defile
Legendaries I'm using: The Instructor's Fourth Lesson and Kil'jaeden's Burning Wish. I have heard that Sephuz's Secret works well but unfortunately I do not have one.
Trinkets I'm using: Draught of Souls and Kil'jaeden's Burning Wish.

Expect the fight to take about 5-6 minutes in 910+ gear, more in lesser gear. Don't short yourself: bring food, flasks, and drums for lust - it all helps a lot. Personally I lust and pop everything including army at the start, but I could see holding it until after 50% being a viable strategy as well - it can get very hectic towards the end and could be beneficial to shorten in.

Unholy Death Knight 900ilvl equipped.

Hey I'm Mokyran from StormScale and this is my first comment on wowhead so bare with me.

I got this appearance on my 9th try, was very close several times but made stupid mistakes.
I'd say the fight is pretty straight forward, but you gotta manage your CDs well, specially defensives ones and even more our mobility ones.

Of course I flasked up, ate and not sure if I even runed, prepoted and used BL, I'd recomend using every bit of dmg you can get your hands on.

Here's a few tips on what I did during this fight;

I'm using 亡者大军 on pull, making sure I got my runes back up when I decide to pull, prepoting and BLing.
She always spawns imps within the first second of pull, plague them, 枯萎凋零 and cleave them down (I'm using 基尔加丹的炽燃决心, so if you are aswell, throw that in there aswell).
Keep damaging the boss until next pair of Imps come, what I did was dragging one of them ontop of the other one and CC them if you can (in my case I'm Tauren so I'm using War Stomp), remember you have pet stun aswell. You want to avoid these imps casting on Agatha, but if they do a bit it's not the end of the world.

I recommend stacking the exploding imps on one side of the room, or else you wont be able to damage Agatha because the floor is full of nasty AOE.

That's how I manage Imps on every round, when Agatha teleports she's around 50%HP, or was in my case, and I'm using 幻影步 over to her, using my pets hook aswell to have as much uptime as I can get.

This phase is simple but very unforgiving, you musn't get hit by the fel rocks or It will be really hard to recover.
Killing Imps the same way as before, remember try to stack exploding Imps on one side of the room if possible.

When Agatha teleports away you should have your 幻影步 up again, if you don't you are going to have a really hard time going over there because of the imps she will spawn. Clear remaining Imps and head over with her.

Fel rocks will still be sliding behind you, so keep a good camera angle to be able to dodge while killing Imps as usuall.

I ended my encounter here, even if you don't it's rince and repeat as far as I know.
It's important to safe your CDs to when they are needed.

*Important information:

- Agatha has a shield while she is channeling, be sure you destroy the shield before silencing or she will be inmune and you will take too much unneeded damage.
- Use your defensive CDs wisely, you don't need to empower you defensives for the encounter (that being "spell eater" or "corpse shield") but VERY importantly, you must use your "黑暗援助" as much as you can if you are struggling with sustain.

Sorry for ask but for my unholy Death knight 891ilvl she have 89M health and I open all army of the dead pot and rest of my cds I cleave first set of adds and I get her at 67% and by then all my pets are dead(extra ones) and she summon a group of 3 more imps and two extra that heal her and does her big aoe with the shield and I die , I do something wrong or I over dps her and she does the all together or its normal?
I don't use drums as I got the ring for small BL and I did not use flask either.

FERAL DRUIDS - do not despair, this is doable even if you're like me and it took me about 70 attempts and I was getting really, really frustrated.

The most important thing you need to know going into this is that the boss is last priority, you must sort the adds out or you'll be quickly overrun and the damage will be too much (yes, even with Prydaz you can't really cheese it the way other AOE classes can.)

Make sure you take 掠食者 - this will help you SO much. I'm not sure how any of you struggling may be dealing with the Imps who leave crap on the ground, but the best strategy for me was to kite it around with it bled up. If you allow it to explode in the middle of the room it will cause problems for you. Kite it and DPS it even if your bleeds fall off on 阿加莎 - it'll make phase two easier.

I also ran with 群体缠绕 - When the two imps at the back spawn, throw it up on one of them and thrash it (yeah even if it breaks the CC) and dot them both up. Do NOT worry if they reach the boss and heal her up a little, you should be able to DPS through it with just cleaving off them (I had rake up on both as well as thrash). This talent also makes it easier to root both of the two imps once 阿加莎 has teleported to the back, giving you some extra time to dot them.

Unlike most ferals who have completed this challenge, I did not run with . I took 野蛮挥砍 which made life so much easier. The little imps should just fall over if you rake them up all, thrash and spam 野蛮挥砍. Again, if any of them are particularly high don't hesitate to leave the boss to get them down, they're more important.

Don't be afraid to spec 甘霖 for this encounter too just in case you get low. Even without Bloodtalons I was still throwing up heals on myself whenever it was instant.
I know some guides are suggesting you use 灵魂之引 trinket but I wouldn't recommend it. For one, it's risky as hell using it if you forget about the boulders coming from behind you or if an Imp spawns that blows up on you and leaves crap on the floor. I ran with 凝结的命运 and 暗夜之花复叶.

I found this weakaura string extremely helpful for this fight seeing as there's no boss mods for it and it's easy to forget what comes when. Please use it, I hope it helps. -Agatha Weak Aura-

As for my legendaries, I took the LUFFA WRAPPINGS and CHATOYANT SIGNET <- this one in particular also helped with energy problems.

Make sure you get a 苏拉玛奢华大餐 for the 500 agility. I know they may be expensive but if you can, do it - every drop of DPS is important. That goes for getting some runes as well.

Priority
1. Control Adds
A - Imps that spawn at the back that run to the boss - frost nova, burn them down before they start healing.
B - Other imps - They dont do to much damage at the start, so its not a big deal, however, as time goes on, you want to burn these down, LB, Flamestrike ect.. I would recommend killing any adds that are up all the time, as i strongly believe it is not about bursting the boss as quick as you can.
C - Plague Imps that explode and drop a slow puddle - Try kill these, blink around, if they get to you and start casting, move away and ignore.
Having them block your path on the ground later will cause issues when trying to avoid boulders.

2. Boss Shield - Should have Pyro + Meteor ready, everytime, this needs to come down ASAP everytime. You will have overlap of heal imps + sheild, Nova the imp, burn sheild > Intrupt > Kill Imps.

3. Dont stand in purple Puddles

4. Dont get hit by boulders - If you do, iceblock straight away.

You dont need lust, i was getting 5% wipes without it because i forgot to cast it sometimes, on my kill i used it at around 49% when she transitioned to the back, to get her away from the boulders.

In total, it took me 27 attempts, (2700 shards), i thought at first it was impossible, but it's not to bad, dont worry about the stacking debuff on the boss.

Very challenging, and fun.

Finished it as a 902 fury warrior with 普瑞达兹，萨瓦里克的杰作, 纳因图斯的脊骨, 戈隆獠牙战争号角 and 克洛苏斯之力 after maybe 20 tries (+ watching a lot of videos, reading tips).
It was very clean kill - triggered no fuming for the whole fight and killed all imps till the very end.

I really enjoyed doing it - it felt like real progression, which is remarkable for a single person encounter.

At first tries went horrible, after some time I learned to prioritize the imps (as well as their spawning patterns and the importance of a well placed BC+OF to get rid of big waves), and then it just became a challenge of perfect execution.
Kiting fumings, dodging rocks while still correctly prioritizing what to do is a real multitasking challenge .

Major points:
* AE needed (纳因图斯的脊骨 helped me a lot)
* Selfheal needed (普瑞达兹，萨瓦里克的杰作/玛诺洛斯的滴血镣铐)

Even though I think the selfheal part currently is a bit overrated - substantial damage only seems to happen when something goes wrong (fume explosion, not interrupting her channel for to long, letting her get shielded by umbrals while channeling, caster imp living to long).
Sure it helps when something goes wrong, but considering a completely clean try 狂怒冲锋 should be enough.

AE on the other hand - at least with current gear levels (and a "kill everything" strat) Najentus + AE trinket felt nearly mandatory.

Completed it last night as a feral druid with 890 ilvl equipped after 43 attempts. I used Ailuro Pouncers and Luffa's and my talents were Predator, Displacer Beast, Balance Affinity, Typhoon, Savage Roar, Jagged Wounds, and Bloodtalons. 41 artifact traits, including 4/4 in the Rake, Rip, Tiger's Fury, and Berserk traits and 1/4 in the new Thrash trait.

Buffed with Lavish Suramar Feast, Defiler Rune, Sylvan Elixir, AGI flask, and used Potions of Prolonged Power.

Final DPS was about 817k over about 5 1/2 minutes.

Others have covered the fight pretty extensively, but here are the tactics that I had the most success with:

- Rake, Thrash, and kite the exploding imps whenever possible. Typhoon will cancel their explosion and they'll have to run back to you, buying you some time to kill them.

- Thrash and Swipe the Umbrals, prioritize Rake and Rip for Servants and the fireball imps if they're up at the same time, especially the Servants.

- Don't bother rooting the Servants, just Thrash and Swipe. Rake them if the boss is dotted up.

- It's easy for Savage Roar to fall off with everything going on. Keep SR up at all times!

- It's also easy to forget to use Predatory Swiftness charges, especially with all the imp types up. Avoid the temptation to Swipe spam or multidot as fast as you can; buff with Bloodtalons first!

And if you don't believe me, look up Thandria @ Malygos-US on the armory. But that is not important. What's important is YOU MUST BELIEVE IN YOURSELF. And use all the buffs you can.

Did this yesterday as Unholy dk 899ilvl.
Complementary general tips that would make the difference:

-This is a fight about adds, control and positioning, yes you have to kill Agatha to complete the quest, but, believe me, if you kill every imp as fast as you can, Agatha will die evently.
-The food you want is 生拌熊肉糜, imps will grant the speed buff.
-Since the fight is in Azsuna (i think) you can use 林荫药剂 for a 10% buff on some stats.
-If you have Draught of Souls, change it, i used a raw stats trinket instead.
-Kill Fuming Imps because almost 95% of my deaths where caused by a 瘟疫区域 + random boulder.
-Priority should be always; keep an eye on boulders -> Fuming imps ->Umbral imps -> Imp servants -> Smoldering imps = Agatha's Shield -> others. Smoldering imps and Agatha's shield to interrupt, you have to do first wich came first, because both have an incremental dmg over time mechanic.

Extra tips for Unholy dks:
-Burst her in this way; Army->potion of prolonged power(for unh is so much better than old war) -> drums ->gargoyle once you are almost stacked with her -> your rotation. The reason to pull almost stacked and with gargoyle is, for some reason that causes that the first wave of smoldering imps sometimes spawn stacked with Agatha, so they will die so much easier and burst will be much more effective. Dont know if is that way for this, but you loose nothing doing it.
-传染 is a must, but you will maybe have to use it in waves where almost all of different imps are summoned, the more imps alive the more efective it is, but its specially effective against umbral imps because they have a little pool of hp.
-I used 亵渎 in every servant imps and umbral imps wave.
-The way to kill servant imps is, let them run to Agatha, you stack with one servant, grip the other one, interrupt the first one, defile and then spam clawing shadows.
-The way to kill Fuming imps is, slow them with chains of ice, outbreak, then run and spam death coils and clawing shadows, if they are casting you can interrupt them with the pet stun, pet grip, or death grip. Also you can use them to spread your virulent plague with outbreak since they follow you, so you can make them run near other imps, i saved a couple of runes doing this.
-The way to kill umbral imps, you put your virulent plague on all of them, spam epidemic, then go to kill other imps, they will be dead when you finish. If no other imps, finish them with your personal rotation, dont waste defile on them because they teleport.
-Buffs i used: Bear tartare food, Sylvan elixir, flask.
-Talents i used:3-2-3-1-3-3-2.
-Max dps on burst: 1.7M.
-Final dps: 679k.

Did this today, as shaman 898, using the sithlord spec.

Yes, there is a huge part about RNG during the fight which helps to handle imps quickly.

I have used 普瑞达兹，萨瓦里克的杰作 and 塞弗斯的秘密 only as legendaries, but the one in the legs slot is i'm sure the best.

About the first part of the fight, if you're not far from the boss, you can save a lot of space bursting exploding imps. They can be interrupted (and EVEN THE BOSS, if your CS is not available) with earthquake. You can also use thunderstorm for exploding imps to save time.

I have also used, the 香辣隼龙蛋, cooked with falcosaurs eggs, really important, having +10% haste for 1 min after each imp death is amazing.

And one advise about the end, NO PANIC as i was close to the end (under 10%), I have failed a lot (the most terrible one was the 2% left).

Hey guys!

This challenge is very, very hard for Outlaw Rogues, so here is a short guide on what worked for me and a video of my kill. I was able to down her on the first night of the Mage Tower after about 2.5 hours of attempts. Of course, this was before learning we could use battle potions (now hotfixed though) which would have made it a lot easier. Agatha is all about add management. Kill the adds correctly and efficiently, and you will have time left over to DPS her. I cannot stress enough that this fight is about the adds above all else.

RTB STRATEGY

Bones values in this fight are as follows:

1. True Bearing
2. Grand Melee
3. The rest

On the pull, try to fish for True Bearing. This will give you frequent Adrenaline Rushes, providing more than enough energy for Crimson Vial (if needed), frequent Sprints to reduce damage (feint) and get to the different adds, and of course, additional damage from Marked For Death.

Grand melee is an obvious one, as the leech will save you in many situations but is not required.. You can get plenty of self-healing from Greed procs, Crimson Vial, and good use of Cloak. Basically go for True Bearing, anything else is an added bonus. Sticking with Grand Melee for too long will cause your damage to drop off and you'll just fall behind on adds (more on this in a sec).

GEARING STRATEGY

Basically, go with what you've been using and what you're comfortable with. I experimented with Will of Valeera, an intuitive go-to, but it didn't work well for me. Sure, I healed through stuff, but at great energy cost, causing me to fall behind on adds. Instead of using Will, try and rely on good Bones RNG to keep you alive.

My go-to's are Mantle and Greenskins. Mantle provides you with very strong burst on adds when needed (via Vanish), and Greenskins provides that single-target boost to chew through her absurd 103M health pool. But again, go with what you're comfortable with and have the most practice on. You DO NOT need Valeera.

TALENTS

General raid talents. Nothing unconventional is needed here; however, I did experiment a bit, so here's what I found. Dirty Tricks is a must, for free Gouges on the Imp Servants.

Grapple vs Acrobatic Strikes: I feel that Grapple is a trap. Do NOT use it here, as you will have trouble positioning around the green puddles and killing adds that inevitably spawn on top of them. Rely on True Bearing to refresh Sprint, and that is all the mobility you'll need for when she teleports.

THE FIGHT

The pull: On pull, she spawns three Smoldering imp adds that fire spells at you. Cleave these down with your opening burst on the boss. Shortly after, she spawns two of the next type of adds. These ignore you, and instead attempt to channel a heal onto Agatha. Kick one, bring it to the other. Gouge the second one since your interrupt is down. Make sure you have MFD up for these, and all subsequent add spawns. Good MFD usage is how Outlaw can get through this.

Umbral imps: after a little while, she will spawn a new round of imps, Umbrals. When these are alive, Agatha is immune to damage. Kill these as quickly as possible. They will periodically teleport a short distance, so have sprint ready. These imps also chain shadowbolts at you, which are quite painful, so cloak can be nice here.

Dark Fury: Periodically, Agatha channels Dark Fury, giving her a shield while she channels stacking damage on you. Break the shield, then interrupt the channel ASAP to minimize damage taken. If you're falling behind here, it's another good spot for defensives.

Fuming Imp: throughout the fight, she spawns imps that charge at you, and upon getting to you they drop patches of ground that slow you and damage you. It's super important to keep the patches to a minimum: if they build up, it eventually becomes impossible to run around killing the other adds, and dodging boulders in Phase 2. Try to strategically lure these imps to a good spot for their ground patches. The best spot is directly under Agatha's body. Alternatively, you can kite and kill them before they reach you (at the cost of boss damage).

Phase 2: At 50%, she will teleport to the end of the corridor, and start throwing boulders at you that roll down the hill. These boulders are exactly like Krosus beams: two will never spawn at the same location in a row, meaning when one spawns, dodge it and then move to where it was: that spot becomes a safe zone. Repeat with each boulder.

Continue managing the adds while dodging boulders, and she will eventually teleport again. Try to have sprint ready. Keep doing these mechanics, focus adds down ASAP. If you can stay ahead of the mechanics and not get overwhelmed, she will eventually die.

All of this is incredibly difficult to execute. I'm Mythic geared, and it took me over 20 attempts, though I did have an embarrassingly high amount of Boulder deaths. If you end up bashing your head against a wall, take a break and come back later. Perhaps give it some time and gear up a little more - if you're below 900 ilvl, your damage might not be there yet. Either way, keep at it, practice the mechanics, and you'll eventually get a pull where the Bones shine on you, giving you everything you need, when you need it. Be ready for that pull. Have your mechanics ready. Don't waste that pull.

Very hard for me, my main spec is Blood DK.. and if they'd let me do this in blood it'd be a joke. I only use Unholy for weekly raids/dungeons, and I'm not that great at it. I died three times before I just ragequit. I wish I would've come here first for some strats/help!

At iL 877, and barely any health in Unholy (200k.. I have no idea why it's THAT low o_o).. yeah.. this is BS. I may have to wait for more gear to pull this one off. It's funny, I thought my iL was pretty good until I read half the comments here. Geesh!

Anyway, my advice is.. if the spec this quest requires isn't your main spec, and your iL is low-ish, don't even bother unless you have a ton of pots/buffs/foods.

Just did this with a FURY WARRIOR. Want to share few tips as well :)
When the tower was first up, I attempted the challenge like ~10 times, back then I had 901 ilevel, prydaz and helmet(cenn-ar) legendaries. Felt impossible to me, the best attempts was like 63%, so I decided to wait for better gear.
This time I went even lower - 897 ilevel equipped, with prydaz and najentus vertebrae (dropped over this week, it helps A LOT, imo), heirloom trinket, and convergence of fates. Well you can check my equip in the video.
Used the same build as everyone does : 1111232.

Did about 30 attempts today. Used sylvan elixir inside (compensates for low ilevel), also str flask, haste food, rune and ancient war potion + drums.

Nothing to add really, you open with potion-charge-BC-BT-OF-WW and then rampage to finish off imps and additionally hurt agatha. Try to prioritize imps at all times, except for her shield. Didn't pay much attention to fuming imps, but you can either take them away and let them blast there, or stun/fear and kill. I've failed like every shockwave, fears didn't reach imps etc etc, but still did it. So much more to improve in my killing attempt, but at least it's done now.

After 10 or 15 tries i managed to kill her with 896 ilvl Fire Mage

Hardest thing for me to do as low ilvl was bringing down the shield. I saved my meteor and crafted necklace for it.

Did it as a 896 fury warrior with healing bracers and whirlwind belt as legendaries.

Gronntooth War Horn did the trick for me. This trinket is off the hook for this challenge! Went with Entwined Elemental Foci as second trinket due to no better options, but if you can get a grip on a Terrorbound Nexus you are well prepared. Furthermore I'd highly recommend using Spiced Wildfowl Omelet as buff food. Trust me, it's awesome :)

The build I ran was 1211232. Stormbolt for interrupting the Fuming Imps is super useful in my opinion. But you can kite/kill the Fuming Imps pretty easy as well.
It certainly is challenging, but thats the name of the game. Stay focused, it's all about handling the imps.

Terrible Feral Druid 900+ something Got this done took me probably longer than it should have, did a lot of experimenting with various talents legendaries e.t.c, my end kill was different than what the other strats here are saying by a bit.
1. Predator: As others have said this is too good simply dotting anything even a fulminating you dont swap to will refresh tiger's fury. use it often and it will greatly smooth out the fight.
2. Renewal. The damage in this fight is a thing from time to time having this extra healing can be very useful. I think I honestly only got 1 pretty big use out of it and another okay one but still it's enough if it keeps you up. Fulminates + shields and imps firing can do a lot if it transitions at a bad point. The thing with charge on that fight is it can really backfire sometimes with the bolders, like ya it can be great on transitions but
3 Resto Affinity. This is the main one people are probably going to be confused by, the reason I took it is because the auto heal and an occasional swift mend rejuve on transition will help you a lot as the fight goes on. The exploding imps can create some very awkward situations and having to bait them away takes time + sometimes they dont like exploding which wastes even more time. Bursting them for me at least wasn't reliable/ worth most times so ya resto affinity counters the ground poison by a fair amount. You do lose the extra range which does suck, but a lot of times you will have to hard swap to adds a lot of times anyways. Basically resto affinity does a lot of work in the long run of things through boss dmg ramp from stacks to fulmination, imps casting e.t.c it really does make a difference.
4. Bash or Typhoon. I think Typhoon is honestly a bit better cause of the shorter cd to interupt the channelers , bash is simpler but ya use w/e you want here.
5. Savage roar here, not a fun tallent but powerful
6 Jagged nothing to talk about
7. Brutal Slash. I know a lot of people lean towards blood talons and it is good. Thing is though on this fight it can get really hectic, sometimes you cant go all out timing the charges correctly when you have to heal yourself (granted I never tested this with resto affinity so maybe I am wrong) Brutal slash just offers that burst you really need to get the adds down. can even bump the shield a bit.

Gear I used
First I want to say a lot of people haven't emphasized it enough I feel, 4 piece tier bonus is king on this fight from nighthold. It is a huge increase to your brutal slash potential even with just thrash up you will hit quite a bit harder with your brutals. the boss with full bleeds will take a whole lot too. If you can make 4 piece work it's worth it by a lot
Legendaries that I can confirm Viable: Sephuz ring, Symbiote belt, Thrash increase bracers.
These were the ones that benefited me the most, the healing touch boots and the bonus combo point gloves are nice, but didn't feel like as much of an impact as the ones I mentioned. I do not have the AOE trinket which might be awesome for this but I can't say cause I don't own it.

Sephuz: This is the rings time to shine, haste buff is very nice especially if you are using the Frond trinket from nighthold, it helps you move around faster, massive amounts of crit. I didn't use it on the kill but it is completely viable.

Symbiote belt: I actually really like this one a lot. 30 percent extra dmg on a brutal slash is pretty good. Plus you can get some healing out of it too which does matter on this fight. It's an add fight and it helps you swap to kill them faster. Used on the kill.

Lufa/ thrash bracers: Took me a while to get these but they are amazing for this. Even without blood talons they do a whole lot of extra dmg (75 percent more) range is nice too. Wouldn't say they are mandatory but they are very nice for sure. Used on Kill.
Trinkets: Trinkets have a lot of flexibility on this fight tbh Used frond + spellblade trinket

Botanist trinket/ Frond: This thing is just good for feral, don't get carried away though and tunnel with it swap to adds. If you are lucky can burst some shields.

I used the Spellblade Trinket, can't really go wrong with this imo

Draught of souls: Tested it and it's not bad. Having an extra shield popper can be nice. It can get a bit Awkward when bolders are rolling though and you do need to be careful when you use.

Trilliax trinket: People hyped this one up here but I don't feel its good. you have to have adds really close together.
Bottom line is most of the gear is pretty flexible for this. 4 Piece is I would say mandatory or near. Most Legendary combos should work but I had my best with the 3 I Mentioned.

General Strat: Avoiding bolders and killing Adds are priority, but bursting the fulminating imps didn't seem worth it, just try to move out of the explosion before it goes off can knock you around. Make sure you always kill the adds here. I have had attempts down to as low as 4 and 7 percent, trying to tunnel her it's a bad idea stick on the adds. The roughest part of the fight is generally if she transitions and summons a wave of the little imps right as she does. You need to stay there and kill them, trust me on this no matter how low she is just kill them. As for the channelers. you can kill them on the way over they move pretty slow. She often can put up a shield as she transports which is the worst time for it. Use your artifact wep / Ashmane on her durring it if you have it up should smooth things out. Careful interupting her cast before the shield is off, the animation can be very tricky on it.

Bolders + the fulminate is usually what will get you killed. Careful on the transitions too these things can come at very strange angels. Also worth mentioning if a bolders running right and you try to avoid it by dunking in the green fel on the right side it can still hit you. Seems like a bug but it happened to me at least twice. The range on these things + imp slow is obnoxious. Resto Tallent will heal you up a lot through having to wade through poison though, Symbiote does work too and then obviously regrowths. Siwft mend can also help on the transitions + a rejuve if you need it.

Can't stress it enough Dodge the bolders (50 percent they come) Kill the adds the whole fight even at the end even if she is just a few percent kill them. Bring some Drums and use them towards the end when it gets out of control with an old war or something.

I was able to berserk 2 times once at the start and once later on around 20 or so percent. Don't be afraid to berserk on big waves of adds or if the shields up. This fight can get pretty punnishing if you fall behind on adds and some waves are nuts, but don't give up I think even on my kill for a moment I thought it was over and kept going managed to kill and stabalize. Resto afinity keeps you in this fight pretty well so don't quit, stay ahead on the adds as best you can.

Don't get discouraged. This took me a few hours worth of tries. Try to do it in a good mind set, being focused can really help here. If you are getting frustrated take a break and come back. Bring consumeables, no mail box but you can change your tallents. Will try and post a vid although has lots of complaining background noise and profanity plus I'm not that good but if it helps people cool. Last the Command center buffs do work inside if we have both up, wasn't when I did this but ya take advantage of the insane buffs if

If you manage to get 顶级屠魔药剂 you should be able to kill her extremely fast.
P.S. its not 200 AP, its +200% dmg against demons.

895 Fury, No Bracers

Hey folks,

Definitely not the cleanest kill (watching the video I see several things I could've/should've been better at) but this may give hope to those that are on the lower end of the gear score!

Finally completed this as feral with ilvl 895 after 40 or so wipes.

Legendaries used: Pouncers and Wildshaper's Clutch (also have the Sehpuz ring but found it was quite lackluster compared to the others)
Talents: Predator, Renewel, Balance Affinity, Typhoon, SR, Jagged Wounds and Brutal slash
Buffs: Lavish suramar feast (I was using the mastery food but decided to go with this to boost my dps given I have lowish ilvl, and it helped quite a bit.), runes, flask of seventh demon, prolonged power pots (used 1 at beginning and 1 around 25%) and drums (used at 25% with pot). I also took advantage of the command center still being up for an hour so I did have the bonuses from that, but I stress that this in no way got me the kill. While they helped, they barely proc'd and half the time proc'd at stupid times or in stupid places.
Artifact Weapon: 47 ranks purchased including all damage buffs.

While I have seen many ferals spec into bloodtalons and SR, I personally despise them both but knew I needed something to keep up the damage throughout the fight, so I chose SR to make it easier for myself to manage given I focused to much on getting BT up when I did use that talent. I can't stress how easy brutal slash made this fight for me since I do not have the legendary bracers. I made sure I had at least 2 charges available when the group of smaller imps spawned, then trashed them to finish them off. If you don't have the bracers, give SR and BS a try and see if it makes things easier for you.

The fight itself wasn't overly hard until towards the end, just make sure the boss always has bleeds on her. I always made sure the healing imps got a rake on them and found thrash and BS killed them off rather quickly from there. Their heal does barely nothing if you keep dots on Agatha. I also always had the exploding imps explode to the side to keep the centre clear, but try get a bleed on them before they do if you can to take advantage of the Predator talent.
Having the legendary boots (pouncers) here also helped me keep myself healed alongside renewel. Again this was not really possible to do with bloodtalons since I ideally needed the charges for the damage buff.
Ashamane's Frenzy was used on Agatha's first shield to get her interrupted as soon as possible. After that I used it whenever possible, but would save it if I knew another shield was coming.

My word of advice is not to focus so much on the imps, just make sure to aoe when possible. I barely had time to use shred unless there were no adds which was really only at the beginning. Just make sure the healing imps have at least rake on them and aoe them down while on the boss. My legendary gloves may have helped quite a bit here because of my bleed crits being able to proc combo points which, combined with the amount of thrash dots I had going out, gave me an easier time managing bleeds.

Make sure you also keep an eye on where the boulders are landing when you get Agatha to that phase as well. I got to focused on her and the imps at low hp knowing I was so close to killing her and failed to notice to see a giant green boulder rolling up behind me. Trust me, it can be very frustrating wiping at 5% because you got to cocky lol.

Good luck fellow ferals, I hope this information is helpful to some people. Its definately doable at low ilvl, just more of a challenge (which is good imo).

894 feral here, I keep wiping at ~30%. The imps are going out of hand around that % for me. But I won't give up, !@#$ the guy who thought giving aoe challenge for ferals is a good idea.

892/895 Feral here, just finished this. Took me 40 tries (pre-Luffa I could barely get her to 80%, after getting it I was close to 30-40% wipes), I died 3 times at 5% because of meteors.

It takes a lot of time and HARD focus on imps. Literally, I just threw some Rakes to the boss while I was zerking the imps. I used Sylvan Elixir, Agility Flask, Rune and Bear Tartare food for mov speed.

Just beat her as an ilvl 901 feral! Used luffas and the ring for legendaries, arcanogolem digit and elemental foci for trinkets

Consumables: spiced wildfowl omelette for the haste/movement speed buff, drums, defiled rune, flask of seventh demon, and 2 pots of prolonged power (used drums+second potion when she was at 20%)

I also used renewal, predator, and brutal slash, and had very consistent results on all of my tries - I'd almost always either die to a boulder that I wasn't looking out for/wasn't expecting to kill me, or because I had accidentally let too many fuming imps explode and leave gunk on the ground

A thrash + 2 or 3 brutal slashes is pretty much enough to knock out all the umbral/smoldering imps, so I never ran into the situation where umbral imps were up while she had her dark fury shield up, which is super important. Save survival instincts in case you get a situation like this, since other than that, the damage is super manageable (I stayed at close to 100% throughout the fight unless %^&* hits the fan, in which case your health starts dropping fast)

Tried it again at 895, Fury Warrior, using recommended talent builds and equipment like Gronntooth. I'm just unable to do enough damage quickly and what self-healing I have, enraged regeneration and Kazzalax, is not enough to compensate for the massive damage barrage. Time to try another strategy, I'll just come back and do it next expansion 😜

Just completed this challenge as ilvl 892 (equipped) Fury Warrior. Artifact Wep-ilvl: 919.

Buffs/pots etc: Sylvan Elixir, Flask of Countless Armies, Defiled Augment Rune, Spiced Wildfowl Omelet, Potion of Prolonged Power x2, Drums of Fury.

Legendaries used: Ceann-Ar Charger and Prydaz, Xavaric's Magnum Opus.

I feel that the key of the fight is staying calm, cool and collected gathering the healing imps and aoeing them down together with the umbral and smoldering imps. Crucial part is waiting a bit before popping BR + OF and cleaving, letting the healing imps reach Agatha so they get swept away in the "cleave" as well. Cant have yourself waisting too much time dpsing down the healing imps one by one. Dont agree with the people stating that the fight is all about survival, the stacking buff she gets by the healing imps works like a soft-enrage so you cant, for example, run around kiting the fuming imps forever. Imo you are better off placing them on the sides of the room quickly letting them explode there. The fight is certainly a dps check as well. You need to have enough "punch" otherwise you'll just get overwhelmed.

Got it done today! Fury Warrior 894 ilvl equipped with the following:
Trinkets: 灵魂之引 and 戈隆獠牙战争号角
Legendarys: 普瑞达兹，萨瓦里克的杰作 and 纳因图斯的脊骨
Consumables: 香辣隼龙蛋, 无尽大军合剂, 被污染的强化符文, 2x 上古战神药水 and 狂怒战鼓
Phase 1 is using BC + OF when the Umbral and Smoldering Imps appeared to just burn them down, getting the Fuming Imps near the fel water and let them explode there so you can move freely near the boss and killing the Servant Imps when there were no ther imps around. After 50% HP down the pain begins as she teleports for every 10% HP lost afterwards from one point of the room to the other. Here the tactics from phase 1 applies plus evading the boulders that drop. It can get messy but proper management of the imps is key, specially not letting the fuming imps explode near the boss as it slows you down and the boulders can hit you pretty easily.
At about 30% use Drums to try to get her down asap as you're near the execute phase. Also it seems that sometimes the pummel after we get her shield down to interrupt the Dark Fury ability bugs sometimes and she keeps casting it. Got triggered a lot by that xD

Fire Mages: Try getting ahold of 塞露布拉，暗夜的双子 if you're having trouble with self-heals. This is the crafted shoulder legendary which sells for around 70-100k gold. Using this + 达克利的龙焰之冠 has made it much easier for me to get into the lower phases of P2, as a 902 fire mage.

塞露布拉，暗夜的双子 passively outheals the base damage she's throwing at you (minus imps/AoE) easily. It has ranged from about 30-60% of my healing depending on the attempt (best was a bit under 25% but this was over maybe 10 attempts at a tired 3 am). Just stay at range and it heals 1% hp per sec. It's made a big difference in how far I get. It allows you to save your barrier for when you actually need it--for example you can use it to ignore the Fuming Imps by using a single corner for all their explosions, using the barrier to stand on the prior AoE long enough to get it to trigger there.

达克利的龙焰之冠 of course is just super useful for imp control, nothing new there.

I've found through my attempts that it's best, as others have said, to save Meteor for her Dark Fury shield. I like Mirrors for taking pressure off and putting pressure on Agatha in a pinch, but these Umbral Imp spawns are my bane. Still, I feel like a properly-utilized Celumbra could make a big difference for people.

Edit - Success!

Again - ilvl 902. Used Potions of Prolonged Power (prepot+regular pot), Flask of the Whispered Pact, Defiled Augment Rune and Spiced Wildfowl Omelet. Kill prio for me was -> barrier, Servants, Umbral Imps (unless barrier comes soon/is up), Smoldering Imps, then Agatha--you can just cleave the Smoldering Imps down when hitting Agatha unless they have stacked their buff while you were doing other things, then get them down fast. I DID NOT DPS the Fuming Imps, instead leading them into a corner with Barrier up onto their own prior AoE and just stacking their detonations.

HEALING DONE:
30,260,023 total
- Cauterizing Blink: 10,644,667 (35.2%)
- Starlight of Celumbra: 9,890,914 (32.7%)
- Blazing Barrier: 4,250,230 (14%)
- Leech: 4,022,838 (13.3%)
- Cauterize: 1,451,374 (4.8%)

I COULD NOT have done this without Celumbra, I can pretty much guarantee that. The lowest prior attempts were 700k and 300k with Celumbra. Both times I had Umbral Imps + Shield spawn at once. I went into Cauterize almost every attempt from accidental boulder faceplants. Before I made this legendary, my best attempts were the beginning of phase 2 (about 45m hp).

For reference, I was running 589k dps sustained overall (that's with the AoE). I wouldn't even worry about damage, just focus on tactics and positioning. I saved the second pot + Time Warp for the last phase, but while you're learning phase 2, you can use it at phase 1 to burst her into it more quickly so you can practice on those boulders. Eventually once you're comfortable with phase 1 you can save Time Warp for later.

Can confirm that the "healing imps" are lower priority. You can give em a rake and rip if you have the points, but don't need to focus on them unless more than 2 are active.

The hardest part of this challenge for me was placing the Fuming imps or killing them (whichever was appropriate at the time.) If you're not focusing on the ground and seeing when fuming imps are spawning, you're gonna have a bad time.

Once Agatha starts teleporting up and down, if you don't keep your eyes on the boulders, you're gonna have a bad time.

Legendary items used were Chatoyant Signet and Luffa wrappings. I also switched from BloodTalons to Brutal Slash for the encounter. Also took Savage Roar over KoJ,

It's not impossible....it's just close to impossible.

Completed it as 902 feral, 1113323, wrist and belt, Appendages and Convergence. Here are some general tips:

-Before the fight starts set Agatha as your focus targed so you can track her energy bar at all times. When she reaches 80-90 energy you wanna apply full bleeds on her so you don't lose too much time breaking her shield.
-The most important tip that I can give is stop dpsing her at 55-51% HP, and wait for the next pack of imps to spawn, kill them and THEN bring her down 50% so she teleports to the back of the cave. This will make phase 2 a lot easier.

And regarding feral, you must use Brutal Slash and if possible switch to haste gear for the reduced recharge time; having all 3 charges ready for each group of adds is key.

Completed today (well, yesterday, 6/20/17) as an 896 feral druid, it took about 44 tries (I also banged my head against this giant demon's boobs when it first came out and I was 892, for at least half or so of those tries). I will not be telling you any basic tips that most people have already stated, but I will let you know what my personal setup involving talents and legendaries, and a few things that I didn't realize the first 40 times dying to this annoying boss.

I took 掠食者, 甘霖, and 野蛮挥砍. The reason I took Renewal was because I was having some survivability issues, but honestly, by my last and successful try, I only used it once. As for my legendaries, I used 丝瓜裹腕 (lucky for me, I guess, it was my first leggo drop) and 共生刺细胞生物. Cinidaria really upped my survivability as, at times, it was hitting for 1mil on that first Brutal Slash on the imps, which, if I was low on health, REALLY saved me a of couple times at least.

I was only using an Agility flask, and because I'm too cheap to buy food, I used some food from my guild bank that increases your movement speed after killing an enemy (I forget what it's called, but it came in handy quite a bit!).

What gave me the most trouble was Fuming Imps, but I found out that putting Rake on them to slow and kite them around was the best method. Before that, I would bring them out to the edges for them to explode, but it just took way too long. I also spammed Thrash a LOT whenever Clearcasting came up, just to add extra AOE damage when I was out of Brutal Slash charges.

I used drums the second time Agatha teleported (the first being always at 50%) and just went absolutely ham. I was a bit scared I'd be overwhelmed because there was a lot of imps up, but popping drums with Berserk and Tiger's Fury allowed me to get them all down and still have some time left to dps Agatha with my CDs going.

I really wish everyone the best of luck. This fight was really challenging (and not necessarily in a good way imo, at least not for ferals), but the reward is SO worth it. That artifact skin.. oh my.. beautiful, glowing blue kitty. ♥ And blue just happens to be my favorite color. :)

I completed this yesterday at 893 ilvl on my unholy death knight cane@bleeding hollow, there's already a million guides on it just wanted to share that it can be done sub 895 ilvl without any class legendaries with special effects (completed with Agamars stride boots and crafted plate legendary belt) , just takes proper itemization (103% mastery buffed in my case)and a little bit of beating your head against the wall, I found pushing her to phase 2 by drumming off the start before her first bubble was the easiest way to keep the adds under control. Just beat her today as outlaw.Took about 20 runs.And to be fair I think outlaw is the hardest spec to play with from ones that are tied to this challenge boss.There are a lot of guides out there but its still pretty impossible unless you roll 5 buff dice or consistently get 2+ buffs with 大乱斗 or 精准定位.
Also try to save 冲动 for shield burst and I never used 恐惧之刃诅咒 (except the burst at the beggining of the fight) cuz you cant afford any health loss in this encounter as it goes on.
So, just try until you get the buffs...Thats it.Thats how our spec has been working entire expansion i guess,gotta deal with it.

I've been playing this game since Vanilla, and every now and then, there is a quest that is just too hard to be worth it. This is one of those. Grats to any of you who pulled it off but, personally, I have read everything everyone has written about it and say, "Well, that ain't gonna happen." What game designer thought this up? Who said to themselves, "You know what we should do? Let's make a boss with infinite health and healing abilities and make them have to Solo it! What fun!"

In case there are other ferals in the same boat as me without the 丝瓜裹腕, don't despair! It is doable.

Here's what I used:

Consumables:

林荫药剂 (This stacks with flasks!)
香辣隼龙蛋
第七恶魔合剂
被污染的强化符文
延时之力药水 (double pot)
狂怒战鼓 or 高山战鼓 (same buff, different mat cost to make)

I highly recommend stacking these buffs, especially 1 & 2--they made a very noticeable difference when I added them in.

The main things that helped me in there were:

Prioritize the 阴暗小鬼s and 阴燃的小鬼s (fireball imps) instead of the 小鬼仆从s (healing imps). It's easy to get overrun and killed by the dps imps if you don't have 丝瓜裹腕 to help your AOE.
Carefully manage positioning of the 冒烟的小鬼 that drops the bad on the ground, and drop them to one side. Otherwise it will get you killed when you're dodging boulders.
Always keep bleeds up on 阿加莎. (Apart from wanting to kill her faster, it also buffs your AOE if you're in the 4pc T19)

also, if you can get 法拉米尔的禁忌魔典 (highly recommended) will make the fight significantly easier
get deadly boss mods challenge mode so you can keep track of the 黑暗之怒

start of fight buff with flask, rune, food and pre-pot
once Agatha becomes attackable throw up blazing barrier and pop all cds including hero/time warp
your goal is to get her down as low as possible before 黑暗之怒

-save meteor for the shield, generally will go down after 2 hardcast fireball and 1 instant pyro. interrupt ASAP once you're able to
-every minute or so she will spawn umbral imps (between 1-3) and also smoldering imps. save 法拉米尔的禁忌魔典 for when the groups spawn. use instant cast flamestrikes to take the groups down.
-frost nova the imp servants when they spawn. single target dps them down
-keep blazing barrier up at all times, blink to heal yourself up

if you're having a really hard time i would spend time gearing up instead of spamming attempts, i tried a couple times when i was ~900 ilevel and failed miserably and then killed it in <10 attempts after 915.
if you don't have any self heal legendaries, i would buy 塞露布拉，暗夜的双子

Great tip for shamans and mages:
Theres a rock in upper part in fel water that you can stand on and as long as you kill exploding imps you are safe from 50% of dmg dealing mechanics. These rock is in the left side of the room near skull, also to get here you have to jump on skull.

920 Fury warrior - using 战争领主之魂 and 塞弗斯的秘密 with a talent build of 1111(1&2)32 ive attempted about 20 times now and I still cant get her past 75% before I get overwhelmed by the imps

ive tried to focus on the umbral and fuming imps before focusing the smoldering and imp servants.

ive also noticed that on my warrior she has a health pool of 124.5M health where on my UH DK (919 ilvl) she only has 89.6M health.

I know this fight is supposed to be hard but only having 1 self heal that isn't really viable until you charge something its super hard (DK can easily get her to 45% health with my health staying at around 80% health easily, also only has 塞弗斯的秘密, I get one shot by the boulders lol)

I'm curious to hear how other fury warriors are doing and some tips on how to complete this

Unless you're super geared and have tons of leggos and buffs and trinks to stack and choose from, I recommend not bothering with this. I've tried it about 15 times on my 907 ele sham with 1 ^&*!ty leggo and almost no buffs. Full AoE build. Haven't gotten her under 80%.

The problem is the cute little imps that empower her stand just far enough away that you can't hit everything with EQ or stun totem and only one of them is barely close enough for Chain Lightning to cleave. It simply takes too much time to kill them this way. Thunderstorm is a good way to interrupt the empower but then they get blown everywhere. You can interrupt 1 and position it to knock both into your AoE pack but this just takes too long.

It becomes incredibly difficult when she spawns Umbral Imps because then you can't take down her shield until they're dead and you need her shield down to stop her from melting you. If I used Stormkeeper and sat in place trying to nuke everything, I'd lose a good 50-75% health before everything was down and that's only IF everything was being hit. The Umbral Imps like to move too. Great.

Nuking each empower imp individually doesn't prove to work too well unless you get some serious procs or you simply have the damage. It just takes too long. Ele shams have 4 ways to try and manage these imps. The first is to kill them, second is to interrupt, third is to stun, and 4th is to thunderstorm them and disrupt the ability. Using kick to interrupt imps might not always be the best idea because if you get her shield down and you can't stop her channeled spell, you've gotta wait and that's time you can't afford.

I imagine this is far easier for melee who can move and dps at the same time. As a caster, the area spells she casts leave you wasting time avoiding damage.

Unless you can dish out some serious deeps this all boils down to you taking too much damage and not being able to dish out enough.

This fight sucks. It's designed to suck. The quest is appropriately named. *!@# it. Luckily for me as an ele sham, the appearance isn't really that appealing. I only tried as much as I did because I'm a stubborn prideful buffoon. I'm glad I'm not struggling this hard as a DK or Warr because they actually get cool looking appearances.

Some of the best comments I've ever read on Wowhead and I am truly grateful for of the efforts taken to spell out how to beat this unbeatable quest and then collect 38G. I know, it's not the reward, it's all about the challenge. Challenges are good; your children will provide more than anything else you'll ever imagine and most of them aren't even trying.

Somewhere there has to be someplace for some fun in Azeroth but this quest isn't it. So if you're looking for an amusing, interesting, clever, funny, spirited, intruiging quest, this isn't it.

This is cleaning the grease traps in the biggest fat-rendering factory in the world, with a used toothbrush.

Did this today as a 927 Fury Warrior. Prydaz and Naj'entus's Vertebrae equipped. I used Countless Armies flask, Rune and Azshari Salad. Along with that I used Potion of Prolonged Power. I'm not great at warrior, and even at that ilvl it was a pain in the backside to get it though. I also saved drums for 2nd phase. Theres a whole heap of comments up about the correct ways to do it, really read into them. Helps a heap.

So I finally got this done after 62 wipes as Fire Mage...921 ilvl.

I'm going to start by saying...I'm bad at multitasking, which was essentially my downfall. I really, really struggle with my ADHD, so when it comes to a fight with so many elements...I fail. Badly. So none of the strats on here did anything for me, and I had to start thinking how to get it done and pad my own failings. So for any other fire mage struggling with the crud-load of stuff Agatha requires you to do, here's my set up and strat.

(( sorry if some of these don't show up. hovering over them is proving to show what they're supposed to be. not sure why the code isn't working))

Build: 洪荒烈火闪光术镜像烈焰飞舞寒冰结界烈焰之地流星
Trinkets: 地底恐惧法拉米尔的禁忌魔典
Legendaries: 普瑞达兹，萨瓦里克的杰作埃索达碎片
Buffs: 生拌熊肉糜耳语契约合剂致命优雅药水狂怒战鼓被污染的强化符文

What I had to do, was pre-pot with the Deadly Grace, pop my Mirror Images, and Drums of Fury. I started with it and not Time Warp, because I can use Time Warp later thanks to Shard of the Exodar, but I can't do it if I change the order of it (I tested it.) I was able to easily burst her to 47% before her shield came out. Make sure when she summons her Imp Servants that you Frost Nova and kill them before they can reach her. Kill her Plague Imp before she gets to you too. I was able to do all this and burst her before she teleported, and then once she got down that tunnel, I followed about halfway and made sure I had a Pyroblast waiting to thump her shield with. I dropped a meteor on her as well, and had a macro made up (/tar Agatha /cast counterspell) and was able to interrupt her quickly and go on about my business.

She ported again around 30% for me, and I blinked back down to her, and then I Time Warped. As soon as my cooldown on Combustion and Mirror Image was down, I popped both of those again. I was struggling with adds, and made sure to use my Grimoire the first chance I got and she managed to port one more time before I was able to get her the last 7% I had left down.

To be honest, I have better legendaries, but I did not have the helm, gloves, nor belt that many others suggested. I DO have the bracers, but I wasn't finding a lot of downtime to hardcast when I needed to. Using Prydaz and the Blink robes didn't give me enough damage, and Norgannon boots were relatively useless for me. I'm a filthy casual and I still struggle with macros and hotkeys and keeping them all organized in my head, so this was the best way for me to do it within my skill range and play style.

Did this on all available classes over the past two days. All classes had two legendaries and between 908-915 ilvl except for Rogue.
Unholy Death Knight: 5 attempts
Feral Druid: 3 attempts
Fire Mage: 12 attempts
Outlaw Rogue: 42 attempts
Elemental Shaman: 2 attempts
Fury Warrior: 25 attempts

I used all the guides on Wowhead. Just to give a rough idea as to how tough these are. Outlaw Rogue is by far the hardest and is my most geared character. Fury Warrior is really easy to screw up, have to do the exact same thing on every single imp wave, if not then you fail. All the other classes, I just went in and blew things up.

I just did this as a 918 Outlaw rogue (not impessive, I know). Just wanted to share a few tips: do not use Feint as the damage reduction isn't worth spending 30 energy and DO NOT USE MARKED FOR DEATH ON AGATHA! Use it on the imps because they die quickly which will reset the cooldown on MfD, something that took me way too long to realize and once I did, it only took me 3 attempts. It should be noted that I failed about 15 times before this realization.

With Argus unlocked, Alchemists can make 光血药剂, so check AH to buy some of these, as they seem to really help dealing with Demons, specially on the Fury, Outlaw and Elemental Agatha fights, since these have a harder time with her than Feral/Unholy. Hell, That might even help on the Tank side one, as you'll be facing demons too in there.

Completed this challenge this evening on my feral druid with an ilvl of 906 and only one legendary which is Ekowraith, Creator of Worlds.
Total time to complete was 3mins6secs and according to my recount my dps was 945k which isn't that high.
I followed tips and advice from other posts on here (thank you authors!) before attempting it and managed to complete it on my second try!

My talent selection was: Predator, Renewal (saved my bacon!), Balance Affinity, Mass Entanglement, Jagged Wounds, Brutal Slash, Moment of Clairty.

Used the following buffs: Defiled Augment Rune, Flask of the Seventh Demon, Lavish Suramar Feast, Lightblood Elixir, Sylvan Elixir, Sunblossom Pollen.

Beat this as a 905 ele shaman with Prydaz and Sephuz's Secret. Took about 30 tries, but the shield from Prydaz is really the only thing that made it possible. I used talents 1, 2, 2, 2, 3, 3, 1 (path of flame, ancestral guidance, earthgrab, swiftness, ele blast, echo of the elements, lightning rod).

I do not see how this can be done as a Fury Warrior. I have lost count how many times I tried this quest. I first tried around iLevel 880. I am now 944. I have all the Legendary equipment. My artifact weapon is has all the bells and whistles. The problem is Fury Warriors taken a whole lot of extra damage during enrage. As far as I know Fury is the only spec that get this penalty. And Fury has little self heal and damage mitigation since Furious Rush and Die By the Sword were removed. And it is difficult to avoid Enrage, it is a core part of being a Fury Warrior after all, to avoid the damage increase. There is a huge difference between a difficult fun challenge and an improbable frustrating joke.

I Did it as feral druid with Ailuro and Soul of the Archdruid after approximately 10 attempts. I Never played as feral before, so I didn't really know how to play the spec. I Used Lavish Suramar Feast, potion of prolonged power, Lightblood Elixir, sylvan Elixir, Flask of the seventh demon, Defiled Augment Rune and astral healing potion. Since I only play as balance and resto, I was struggling with the fight. Best tip I've seen was on the comment section of the feral guide, by Xaxziminrax (thank you, wherever you are!): if you think you have enough dps, don't waste combo points on the imps. Focus on Agatha with ST rotation, use trash on the imps to apply bleeds and kill them with brutal slash. Predator was an essential talent. On my failed attempts I realized I was ignoring the mechanics of predator: if you follow the tip for killing imps you can have tiger's fury active for almost 100% of the time. Didn't feel the need to use displacer beast, so I went with renewal instead. Apart from that, I used Balance affinity, typhoon, jagged wounds/soul of the forest (soul of the archdruid talent), brutal slash and bloodtalons (since with ailuro I used regrowth/roots a lot). Once I realized where I was wrong, it was an easy fight. So, if you are struggling because you are not used to the spec, have a little patience and follow the tips to your class and you will eventually get there! Good luck everyone =D

Just beat this as a ilvl 950 Fury Warrior.
Legendarys used: 普瑞达兹，萨瓦里克的杰作纳因图斯的脊骨
Self buffs: 无尽大军合剂被污染的强化符文 Reaves Module: Snack Distribution Mode
Talent build: 1132212
Strat: At start pop 狂怒战鼓上古战神药水 and all of your CDs: Avatar, Bloodbath, and 鲁莽. This will pretty much finish phase 1 immediately.
Use 震荡波 to stun the adds when possible and use Whirlwind and 奥丁之怒 to kill the adds.
When Agatha gets a bubble shield, prioritize your dps on Agatha to kill the bubble shield, then Pummel the spellcast after the shield is gone. Then go back to AoE'ing Agatha and the adds.
Heroic leap back and forth at each end of the area as Agatha teleports between them.
Dodge every boulder during phase 2. A single boulder hit will more than likely cost you the fight. Keep moving and don't stand in the swirling purple and green attack locators.
Rinse and repeat as needed.

I beat this on my 3rd ever try. It is a somewhat challenging fight but our gear scores are to the point now that it is relatively easy once you understand the mechanics.

Weird thing I found that came in very handy:

During the scenario for mages where they build their class mount at the end of the Legionfall chain, you can buy a bunch of consumables from vendors there in order to make the fight a little easier. One of those items is a consumable that stacks to 5 and casts a short 20% haste buff on you; another gives you a 1-million fire damage shield.

If you still have those items lying around, they work in this quest's scenario.

as of today Agatha despawns immediately (tried multiple times at cost), submitted a ticket and was told its my problem and to go to wow head to fix it.

So something happened in 7.3.5. Agatha's boulders didn't spawn for me during her encounter. She warped a bit strangely but without the boulders it was unbelievably easy. Looks like she's bugged but completable.

I know it was 7.3.5 because she was fine the last cycle tower was up.

An overgeared Feral druid is actually at a huge advantage here. Took me just a few attempts at 929. Neon kitty can be one of the most valuable appearances to get, but also one of the easiest to bruteforce.

So, if you are struggling, here's what I learned:

1. Agatha is one of the weakest bosses in all seven challenges: just 105 million health (for comparison, combined health of Sigryn and her pals is 342 million, and the Twins have a total of 210). As such, your priority would be not damaging her, but killing adds and saving yourself. That's because...

2. Your AoE, DoTs and AoE DoTs are your biggest strength. There is a good chance she will die when you are in the opposite corner of the room. By having her DoTed, you can safely be distracted by anything else, including your long run and boulders (it helps to have a Displacer Beast / Balance Affinity).

3. Brutal Slash and Predator are the two most potent talents here, especially when combined with Blood Talons. In fact, Brutal Slash will be used by cooldown every time there is more than one target, and even when you are one-on-one with Agatha. Bleed Agatha and then go Thrash/Brutal Slash the adds, catching her into the sweep if possible. These two skills alone will destroy nearly all adds around. Only Umbral Imp (immunity one) will require focus, but normally it will be dead before it manages to teleport.

Predator serves mostly to keep your energy up, as an add is dying like every few seconds.

4. Don't overestimate the healing imps. Their combined healing is like 200k per second, whereas your DPS in 930 on a single target would be about 900k when you are relaxed and 1300k when you are focused. Kill them, but they are a low priority, much lower than, say, fire-spitting ones.

5. Luckily, there are no mandatory legendaries here. A Sephuz or Kil'Jaeden will certainly help, and Prydaz might make your survival easier, but overall, nothing critical. Some legendaries, like Luffa, Ailuro or Wildshaper, can make you even more devastating, but overall, in 930, you don't really need anything past your own skills. But hey, no kill like overkill, right?

6. Most people prefer to cast Entangling Roots on healing imps. However, you better use instant casts on Regrowth. A much better target for it, if you really can't resist casting Roots, is a plagued imp, to let it die from bleeds where you want it. Speaking of which...

7. The only two things that can kill you here are plagued imps and meteors (fire-spitting imps too, but they will die before they can cast many bolts). Both are best countered by constant kiting in circles, coupled with spamming your Brutal Slash / Thrash. With good gear, you can survive one meteor at full health, but taking plague imps to side or back, OR killing them, becomes a high priority, on par with fire-spitting imps.

8. Due to danger coming from all sides, distance your camera. There are few things worse than missing a boulder or imps coming from behind.

9. If you are having trouble with a specific type of imps, you can try saving 3 charges of Brutal Slash. Taking 3 of those in the face will obliterate even the hardest of them, regardless of their numbers, or will break through Agatha's shield instantly.

10. Don't waste interrupts. Agatha's dark storm is the only spell worth interrupting. Everything else is negligible.

11. Hero/potions are best used at the start, but if you are really, really bad at phase 2, you can pop them the moment you start damaging her after 50% (after she teleports). Don't worry if she teleports away: your DoTs will still benefit from any buffs you might have.

Outlaw: Yo-ho-ho, and a bottle of rum!

Of all Imp Mom challenges, Outlaw is definitely the hardest one for two reasons: you don't have much innate healing, and you don't have AoE attacks as other classes understand them. I did it on 942 after 25 attempts; collected some notes to help you do it faster.

1. Your salvation number one: Blade Flurry. Most players who are new to the spec don't really understand how exactly does it work. Here goes: every time you deliver a melee attack (and only a melee attack; ranged attacks don't count, even if used at point blank), 30% of its damage is also applied to each of the enemies within a short range of yourself (NOT of the target), excluding the primary target. It does not matter if the targets are behind you or in front of you: only range from yourself to the target's hitbox matters.

In other words, you need to position yourself between the primary target and the secondary targets, NOT so that all targets are in front of you. If you attack 3 imps, you need to stand in the center of a triangle they form. This way you will maximize the coverage.

This ability alone is NOT enough to reliably kill more than one imp at once, and it will NOT allow you to kill imps passively while damaging Agatha, but it will make your life so much easier. In fact, if you've leveled your artifact well, you can turn it on and don't turn it off for the rest of the battle.

2. Your salvation number two: bottles of rum. Or, to be more precise, consumables. I am not sure if it is developer oversight or not, but within Agatha's chamber, both Sylvan Elixir (+10% all stats) and Lightblood Elixir (chance to deal Holy damage against demons on attack, +15% average damage boost) do work. If Command Center is up, its combat perks will work too.

The trick is that you need to use consumables INSIDE the chamber, before battle, as it disappears if you travel in or out. Also, these two consumables cost a fortune if you don't have your own alchemist, and that's on top of the usual flask/food/rune.

To be honest, this is not entirely a fair combat... But hey, you're a rogue and an outlaw, what did she expect?

3. Salvation number three: Marked for Death. The absolute best talent, IF you use it right. This thing you need to use ONLY on imps, on each and every last one of them, but NEVER on Agatha herself. It resets when its target dies, and so, it allows you a guaranteed 6-combo on each single imp, which basically cuts the damage required to kill them in half. However, if you use it on Agatha, it will not reset, and therefore you will be left without it on the next imps.

4. Salvation number four: a poor man's interrupt, Gouge. With Dirty Tricks talent, it does not cost anything, and although it has a serious drawback (you need to stand in front of your target to use it), it is extremely useful for two purposes:
- Stop Imp Servant healing cast
- Stop Fuming Imp explosion
Combined with Marked for Death, it will make dealing with them much easier. It also generates 1 free combo point, but does not benefit from Curse of the Dreadblades.

5. Salvation number five: the cruelty of chance, keep 'em rolling. Roll The Bones, your favorite ability. The trick with this challenge is, you don't need just any buff; you specifically need Grand Melee, which gives a 25% Leech. This, combined with Iron Stomach, will allow you to shrug off most damage, or recover if you suffer a painful hit. Whenever Imps are dead, don't be shy to use your combo points to re-roll until you get the Grand Melee.

Good news is that with the artifact topped off, you'll get a guaranteed 2 buff roll after Adrenaline Rush.

6. Most damage in this fight starts as harmless, as is easily mitigated, but a few things can actually kill you:
- Meteors. The worst thing that can happen. If you get hit by one, you will, at best, be forced to heal up. Learn to avoid them, distance the camera (to see if they are coming from behind), face the direction they are coming from, constantly move to avoid being caught in it. Watch where they are dropping. In 940+, they won't one-shot you, but will hurt like half of total health. You can mitigate it by using Feint, but believe me, using Feint right is even harder than dodging these all the time.
- Dark Fury. The second worst thing. It starts weak, but if it overlaps with Umbral Imps, you are in trouble. Abandon everything except killing Umbrals (if any are still up), and focus on damaging Agatha. She does not display the channel, so you MUST remember to interrupt her after the shield is down. The only way to know you are safe is to watch the stacks disappear from her. In the absolute worst scenario, if she spawns Umbral Imps shortly after Dark Fury begins, use Cloak of Shadows when at 50% health or lower: it will make you immune to damage for a few seconds, hopefully enough to break the shield. Worst part? Dark Fury is not stopped by translocating.
And if you get rolled over by a meteor during Dark Storm with Umbral Imps up... well... Told you to get enough consumables and Nether Shards for multiple tries.
- Smoldering Imps. They cannot really damage you, but if you don't kill them fast, they can quickly escalate to the point where their bolts do hurt. Trick is, they have unlimited firing range, and so, if you accidentally leave one behind (once Agatha teleports, for example), that one tiny imp will be your doom.
- Fuming Imps, while their explosion cannot deal serious damage to you, will slow you down greatly, which is a death trap when combined with Meteors. You need to Gouge, Mark and kill them whenever able.

7. Between the Eyes is often neglected for the raw damage, but it can actually work wonders when killing Fuming Imps. You can even make a macro for that. Trick is, if it crits, it will one-shot the imp; if not, it will stun them long enough for you to finish the job. However, against all other types of imps, plain damage (Run Through) generally works better.

8. This battle is NOT about dealing damage to Agatha. She is frail and weak: 105 million health is not serious (with potion and Drums, you may bring her down to 50% before she even summons Umbral Imps). Healing from Servants is not serious: 200k per second (your damage will start at 700k). Your primary task is killing every single imp as it spawns, while dodging Meteors and occasionally interrupting her Dark Fury. The only time you can prioritize damaging the boss over adds is during Dark Fury, following the priority (kill ASAP to kill when able):

Umbral Imp - Dark Fury - Fuming Imp - Smoldering Imp - Imp Servant - Agatha.

And that's it. You can also make the battle easier with legendaries (Kil'Jaeden, for example, is great for killing imps), or by getting your hands on Antorus trinkets (Argus trinket or, a poor man's second best choice, Gorshalach's Legacy from Aggrammar, which clears all imps instantly when it procs). However, until you learn to kill imps, Mark, Gouge, roll Grand Melee and dodge Meteors, you won't do it, and overgear won't help.

Elemental Shaman in 940+ is incredibly easy here (literally did it on first try), due to the following:

1. Your massive AoE leaves imps no chances. Stormkeeper is best saved for Umbral imp spawns, as it allows, in 3 instant Chain Lightning + one Earthquake casts, obliterating them all (and any others that happen to be around) in a few moments.

2. Lightning Surge totem + Thunderstrike (backup) are best for disabling Imp Servants to deny them healing. However, at high gear levels, you do not waste time actually controlling them while they run: instead, drop totem on them when they arrive.

3. Due to being a ranged class, you have much more liberty with movement. As such, it will be much easier to dodge the meteors, and you don't give a damn about the Fuming Imp plague zones.

Try to stand near edges to minimize the coverage, but overall, they are not even worth your damage focus.

4. Legendaries for this fight are entirely your choice. Prydaz and/or Shaladrassil Roots are very good to give you even more health; if you want to nuke faster, Sephuz and/or Kil'jaeden will be awesome. However, even without these, any will do.

5. The only thing you cannot forget (not that your Chain Lightning spam will let you) is to kill every last one of the imps before you switch to boss at any given moment. Place Flame Shock on all of them; Lava Strike them if Agatha is too far / shielded (otherwise use it on her); drop Earthquakes so that they cover both Agatha and the imps.

When all imps are dead, you can switch to Earth Shock instead.

6. Heroism/Bloodlust, both Elementals and potion are best used on pull. You can drop her to 50% before she even summons her first Umbrals.

7. If you really hate her, use Lightblood Elixir and Sylvan Elixir inside the dungeon, AFTER you enter, but before the fight. This will make you hilariously overpowered, and grant an almost ridiculous overkill.

Unless you get hit by multiple meteors or forget to interrupt her after breaking the shield, realistically, it will be a very easy fun fight.

I wish the resulting artifact was more... epic?

I dont know if it still happens but few weeks ago had command center up and the buffs where working inside agatha's lair, so you get aszuna buffs (whelp army, the 50% dmg rune and the meteor shower)

Unholy: Plague Inc.

Agatha was never really a friend of melee specs - even in my 945, I expected her to be problematic following the Outlaw positioning challenge. I haven't played Unholy for a lot of time, did not have a single spec-specific legendary, and only a few days of practice in DPS... But gladly, it worked. Collected a few tips, as usual.

1. Virulent Plague. In fact, with proper talents (Ebon Fever), this becomes your single most damaging spell in this challenge: a fire-and-forget imp killer.

I was in luck to get the Soul of the Deathlord, which gives Ebon Fever and Bursting Sores all in one. Does not get any better than this for AoE.

2. Defile. A mass imp-killer number two. Dropping just one and then spamming Clawing Shadow (for range) out of it is pure pleasure. Using it on every pack of Umbral Imps is a guarantee that they won't be able to survive more than a few seconds.

It's also MUCH easier to use than Soul Reaper.

3. With these two talents, your AoE becomes as trivial as it can be: Outbreak on everything that moves, and they are done for good, Defile for mass eradication. This allows focusing on Agatha nearly entire time, spamming her with Festering Wounds and Clawing Shadows with occasional Apocalypse / Death Coil as possible.

4. Do not, however, neglect imps entirely, make sure all imps are dead. Killing them is more important to avoid being overwhelmed. Let minions and Plague damage Agatha if you are busy with the imps (once more than 3 appear at a time).

5. To interrupt Fuming Imps and drag them to side (or even into the same location where the previous one detonated), use Death Grip. The more of them die before the cast, the easier it will be to move around. While you are more free in positioning than, say, Outlaw, you still need to minimize the contamination, or you'll end up in a death trap with meteors.

6. All damage cooldowns are best used at pull. You can bring her to 50% in no time, basically skipping a few cycles of Umbral imps.

7. You can overkill this by using consumables (Lightblood Elixir, Sylvan Elixir, etc). However, in 940, you should kill her easily without these.

8. Naturally, abuse your free Death Strikes to keep healed up, as an add is dying every few seconds. Save Anti-Magic Shell for emergencies such as Dark Fury overlapping with Umbrals (if that happens somehow) or being hit by a meteor.

This will be a fun fight. And the appearance is unique.

Fire: Hell's Kitchen

Fire is probably the easiest of all three Mage challenges, and is rather simple among Imp Mom ones. In 940+, you can pretty much go wild with your legendaries, but I still collected tips that made me do it in a few attempts.

1. Due to the nature of Fire leggies, your skillset is very dependent on what you've got. I managed to get my hands on Phoenix gloves (Combustion recharges faster on Phoenix casts), Scorch belt (Scorch against 30% health or less always crits and deals x4 damage) and Soul of the Archmage (free Flame On talent, allowing Alextrasza).
- Soul of the Archamage and/or Diadem: you will use your Dragon Breath as damage source, not just as crowd control, by cooldown on any pack of 2+ targets (otherwise Imp Servants only)
- Phoenix gloves: Combustion will be used on every Umbral Imp pack and on pull (otherwise on pull and by cooldown)
- Scorch belt: when Agatha is below 30%, you will start spamming Scorch and bombard her with free casts (otherwise you don't even use Scorch at all).
- Kil-Jaeden: discharge at any imp pack of 3 or more by cooldown
I didn't test anything else, but you really need to focus on skills that are your strongest side here. All are viable, you just need to choose your specialization. As such, your talents must enhance that particular skill(s), otherwise, you'll be doing everything equally poorly.

The only static talents will be Incanter's Flow and Shimmer.

2. Healing in this challenge is made much easier by taking Shimmer. Every Blink is 20% health restored + Blazing Barrier by cooldown. Don't Shimmer twice in row, because healing buff does not stack.

Blazing Soul is a very bad idea because it can't go over its maximum capacity and because standing THIS close to the enemy is suicidal.

3. Meteor, if taken, is a single-target spell. Only use it on Agatha when she is alone. Dark Fury shield is an ideal target for it.

4. Flame Patch vs Living Bomb. You will bombard imps with instant Flamestrikes anyway; every Hot Streak will be spent on a Flamestrike unless Agatha is alone (then it's Pyroblast). However, Flame Patch calls for steady casts one by one. If you are having trouble with overlapping mechanics, Living Bomb will work better, because if 5 or more imps are up at once, it will kill them all in a single instant cast: the larger the horde is, the faster it will burn.

5. While any imps are up, don't try to focus Agatha. She will get enough damage from AoE as is. Dark Fury is about the only time when you will have to shift to Pyroblasts.

6. Your normal rotation consists of alternating between Fire Blasts and Phoenix Strikes, discharging Hot Streaks as they become available + Dragon's Breath to crowd control Imp Servants. Fireball is only cast if all other spells are recharging because it makes you vulnerable.

7. Don't bother to Frost Nova the Servants, their healing is so weak it's laughable. Get your Dragon's Breath and Flamestrike on them, maybe a couple of single-targets, but overall they should die from AoE.

8. Don't stand close to the enemy. Your only short-ranged spell is the Dragon's Breath, but Servants (its main target) stand in front of the boss anyway. Do not approach the boss, as it just makes you an easier target. To compensate, you don't care where the Fuming Imps detonate. As long as you don't get under a meteor, you may stand in any part of the room (edge preferred by me, just in case).

9. Everything else pretty standard. You always follow the target priority (Umbral - Dark Fury - Smoldering - Servant - Agatha - Fuming), watch your rear for meteors (distance camera), constantly move to not stand in anything funny.

10. You may use consumables (Lightblood / Sylvan Elixir), but that's an overkill. Time Warp / potion at pull is enough to quickly shift to phase 2.

There you go. Another challenge beat. Enjoy your... whatever that blade is. Looks Mogu to me.

Fury: The Ballerina

Fury Warrior in 940+ feels good in this challenge, once certain preparations are made. Due to very strong AoE and movement skills, it becomes nice as long as we keep ourselves alive. So, a few notes...

1. Survival. The main problem for all specs in this challenge. To heal up, Warrior needs a combo of Furious Charge + Double Time talents. Charge, as a consequence, will be used as a healing tool, NOT to move around. Whenever you take more than 20% of health in damage, you Charge + Bloodthirst.

Enraged Regeneration is a panic button, and most likely will be used if you get rolled over by a boulder.

2. Clearing Umbral Imps becomes very easy if you save Battle Cry + Odyn's Fury for them. Cuts their life in half or even kills them outright (if Enraged). Survivors will need to be focused, and that's the only time you don't focus Agatha.

3. Adjust positioning to stay between Imps and Agatha at all times (in the center of a triangle they form). This way, every Whirlwind combo (thankfully, WW is free) will reliably hit her AND the adds. Every Rampage must be discharged as AoE.

As such, ANY cast of Bloodthirst or Rampage must be paired with Whirlwind. Form a habit for this fight.

4. Inner Rage and War Machine are a very potent choice combo: it makes the rotation very simple, but super-effective against multiple adds while you focus Agatha.

5. My legendaries were Soul of the Battlelord + Ayala's Stone Heart (two rings). This gives you a constant stream of free Executes on any target, followed by a free Rampage each.

I heard Mannoroth's Bloodletting Manacles is a super-awesome choice for self-healing, but it's an overkill.

6. Don't bother with crowd control. Whichever adds appear, AoE them steadily, without using actual cooldowns. You only use bursts when dealing with Dark Fury / Umbrals. Imp Servant healing is pathetic, and very easy to out-damage.

7. Move! Boulders are your only real danger. Always check their course, watch your back, this is more important than doing damage. Do not be afraid to lure Fuming Imps to the same location to detonate at the same spot (under Agatha is the best spot, near the edges is second best). Be sure to distance the camera.

8. Heroic Leap is best saved in case you need to escape something: like being trapped in a plague pool. Don't waste it just to cross over to Agatha after she teleports, unless that overlaps with Dark Fury.

9. Consumables overkill, as usual. With Sylvan and Lightblood, you can be sure your Battle Cry + Odyn's Fury becomes a sweeping breeze that clears the area of any and all adds. You shouldn't need it, but why not?

And that's basically it. Enjoy your Kvaldir-themed swords.

No skill 930 Outlaw Rogue here! Just finished this challenge and wanted to say a couple of things about my experience to help folks who haven't completed this challenge yet.

Let me start by saying I've never played Rogue in my entire life. I used my BfA boost to get a Nightborne Rogue and didn't even level it through Legion. If you have more experience with the class, I'm sure you'll be able to clear the scenario with much lower ilvl.

I completed it on my 5th attempt (First 3 were "Let's see what this gal does" and last 2 were "Let's do this" and I sauntered in buffed out of my mind with a $%^& ton of consumables). To me, they were the key to clearing the fight without much trouble.

Since this fight is considered to take place "On the Broken Isles" you can use some really OP consumables you can't use in any of the other 6 mage tower challenges:

Greater Blessed Bandage (Restore 5% health every 3s and deal holy damage to attackers for 30min) My personal favourite since I'm terrible at dodging stuff, had 0 leech gear and couldn't stay alive for @#$%.
Sylvan Elixir (+10% all stats)
Lightblood Elixir (Extra damage to demons)
Spiced Falcosaur Omelet (Movement and attack speed after killing an enemy)

On top of that, add your regular consumables:

Flask of the Seventh Demon (+1300 agility for 1h)
Defiled Augmented Rune (+325 agility for 1h)
Potions of Prolonged Power (+2500 all stats for 1min)
Drums of the Mountain (+25% haste for 40s)

Acrobatic Strikes: Not just for cleave, it also helps hit people when you inevitably *!@# up killing the Fuming Imps and leave pools everywhere
Iron Stomach: Again, I was having problems with sustain
Marked for Death: CD resets if you kill an enemy, fight is 90% killing low health enemies...no brainer

My stats:
Artifact Level: 70| DMG dealt: 277.11M (52.4% to Agatha) | DPS: 774K | Agility: 34.214 | Stamina: 76.741 | Armor: 2.540 | Crit: 30% | Haste: 16% | Mastery: 57% | Versatilty: 18% | Ellusion 7%

Insignia of the Grand Army (super easy to get in this patch, it's literally less than 10 quests and 1 LFR Argus kill)

My "controversial" tip:
I unbinded Blade Furry for this fight and went for a single target approach.

I simply killed the adds as soon as they spawned: You don't have to nuke Agatha. You won't have problems with enrage. I see a lot of people saying there are some adds you shouldn't prioritize because they don't deal that much damage and you can kind of cleave them while hitting Agatha. I think the fight is way easier if you kill every single little bastard as soon as it appears. One because you have no trouble picking up the important adds from the unimportant ones and two, because you will have less trouble with interrupts and general mechanichs of the fight.

I only hit Agatha when there were no adds, even when she was under 10% health. It's so easy to #$%^ up all the fight in the execute range by hard switching dps to Agatha and then she spawns imps that make her immune and you have to deal with the adds that were alive before the hard switch, the adds who are alive now, rolling balls who want to kill you, a floor covered in slowing puddles that wanna help said balls kill you and an immune &*!@# with a 2M shield that casts an increasing damage spell at your sweet unprepared ass.

It's not a race, it's a marathon.

After doing this on every spec I can say that Outlaw and Fury gave me the most trouble by far. Fury and Outlaw were harder at 920il than Unholy, Fire, Feral, etc were at 910. .-.

An inside tip for Outlaw Rogues.

Zone in.

Get Lightblood Elixir. Buy at least 1/2 stack.

Separate them into individual slots - dont stack. If you bought 6 put it in 6 slots.

Then, get Sylvan Elixir - drink it, become a tree - get 10% stat boost.

Eat your Seed Plate or Lavish Feast.

Drink your Flask of Seventh Demon.

Now drink the Lightblood Elixir - one from each slot you should get a stack for each slot - I would suggest 8-10 slots.

Vanish, Drink your Potion of Prolonged Power. Ambush, hit the drums (You bought or made some Drums of the Mountain, right? )

Agatha suddenly becomes squash City. You're welcome.

Outlaw rogues, try speccing into Slice and Dice if you're having trouble. Believe it or not, I got this in one attempt (without the wrist legendary, and with gear favoring mastery for my main spec (assass)) when I did that. had 10-20 combined specced into Marked for Death or Death from Above (would consistently get her to about 15% with those two).

Doing this on all the classes and this scenario really shows the bad design. One shot it on my Unholy DK, Feral Druid and BM hunter. Was super easy. Out of all the Scenarios I think this one is the easiest, very simple design and doesn't even feel finished (no way to get out other than to hearth). Because it's so easy and simple you can really see how some classes/specs just suck.

(It's also yet another example of how bad the graphics are in this game. Boulders will not even be close to you and stun you).

Then I tried to do it on other toons. Fire mage was terrible, super squishy and no good way to heal. Outlaw was also squishy and a nasty experience and really bad at getting all the adds (lets face it, this spec is just fail anymore). But Fury warrior, my god it is terrible (still haven't got this one) can't even kill the Fuming Imps in time before they drop their plague (several vids I've seen online also have the same problem). So you just have to try and avoid the boulders with plague all over the place. This terrible spec is so dependent on procs and cd's for everything it's next to helpless.

All my toons are geared about the same (around 950 ilevel) so way overgeared at this point. It really shows the inequalities between the classes/specs and how fail it is for Blizzard to do one of these for so many specs. Proving Grounds was fail in the same way but Blizzard never learns.

Anyway, I have Elemental Shaman left to try on this one, not looking forward to it as I don't know the spec very well as I never play it. We'll see how it goes.

I just completed this on all available classes. Unholy DK got it second try without even watching a guide. had a little trouble on fury war and ele sham mostly because they were under geared. ! shot it on my feral druid and i didn't know how to play feral. All in all, its probably by far the easiest mage tower. i recommend using lightblood elixir as it made 10% or more of my damage and really helped with imp control.. all you really need to know is dodge balls, have interrupt ready when breaking shield, kite fuming imps to side so the fel crap doesn't get in your way and focus umbral imps so the cant protect her. save drums and aoe CD's for after she teleport and you get too many waves of imps up.

Please Note: If you are like me and a returning player and missed lots of patch info.
With the release of the 8.0 pre-patch, this quest chain is no longer available.
The appearances associated with this quest can no longer be acquired.
Really sucks they removed this from the game so quickly when a lot of part time returning players are still catching up
on the completing Legion content.

You can no longer get this done after 8.0 BUT, if you have done it before you can still unlock the different tints.
You have to do it on the alt that you finished the quest with.
You dont need to have the weapon equipped, i had mine transmogged to it but im not sure if that matters.

On a side note it seems to be a bit bugged, when i unlocked a new tint it didnt show up in the transmog interface, just had the original one.
I had to go back to my class hall and equip my artifact, then change the tint there as you did in Legion.
Then it showed up so i could transmog it, but the original disappeared.
You can also use all of them on alts of the same class.
