After accepting the quest 扭曲之树 (lvl 98+) from Hag of the Crooked Tree you are able to click the cauldron and phase out.
艾瑞雅·悲心 appears. This elite mob scales to level and it is in a non-personal phasing, so you can see other people being on the same quest.

艾瑞雅的尖叫 is interruptible.

女巫的财物 contains around 5x 奶糖.
Other possible items: 大姐的帽子, 二姐的帽子, 三姐的帽子, 小妹的帽子 and hallowed wands.
Although marked as "cosmetic", they are not transmoggable.

If you're still leveling and want some EP, speak to 杜洛克·铁颚 in Dalaran (neutral inn) and take his quest 小心那棵扭曲之树, which sends you to the hag.

To get to this daily you need to accept quest from an orc Durok Ironhatch (or whatever his name is in english, it's certainly Durok) in Dalaran inn, he will send you to Val'Sharah, the daily is located not far from Bradensbrook.

Hag's Belongings contained 5x Tricky Treat for me as well, but it has a chance to drop 1 of the 4 hat models for t-mog.

It's at (35,56) for anyone who are looking for the daily. And I just went there without any pre-quests during the event.

And as of 19/10/2016 you cannot add these witch hats to the wardrobe :-(

Worth noting, the lvl requirement is only 98, so WoD alts can do this for the transmog hats! :)

This quest cannot be completed while in a raid group. So if you're LFG, don't join or convert to a raid.

Quest is buggy, mob resets frequently, back to full health, repeated fears with no cooldowns, hard to solo

It's nearly impossible for 1 or even 2 players. I can't interrupt every fear and a fear = quest reset.
fear = reset
new try, interrupt, fear = reset,
new try, interrupt, fear = reset,
new try, interrupt, fear = reset,
Very "fun" right?
7 resets and I abandoned this quest.

The quest-giver is an orc named Duroc Ironjaw at The Legerdemain Lounge (the corner bar/pub) in Dalaran, sitting next to the Candy Bucket.

While this item does say 'cosmetic' (for now), it is not able to be transmogrified and there is no intention on them being transmoggable. The cosmetic tag will be removed with an upcoming patch.

On the first day (when we all thought they'd be moggable) there were 10-15 people killing this mob at any given time. Now there's usually nobody there. :( Way to ruin what would have been a notable addition to Hallow's End.

edit: it's now moggable only during Hallow's End as of 7.2.5.

Can't hardly believe it, got credit on kill, but did not get credit for getting it completed, too many fears, can dispell (or won't)... what is the trick to this?

As of this time, not worth the effort. The mob likes to chain-fear while putting a stacking debuff on you that will kill you pretty quickly. And when you do finally drop her, you'll probably just get five candies. And if you DO get the hat... you can't even use it for transmog purposes.

A total and complete waste of time and gold. Do yourself a favor and give this one a pass.

Pull her right back to where the cauldron is before you enter phase. Her fear will send you out of the phase making her reset otherwise.

After three solo attempts, glad I came here. The 'cosmetic' items that drop aren't transmoggable. What's the point of this? None. Abandoned the quest.

Of course we all know that seven months from now on a random Tuesday, Blizzard will decide to make all the hats transmoggable for no apparent reason whatsoever and oh by the way, we're removing the quest before next Hallow's End so you can no longer get them.

The quest is a little easier now. The shriek only causes fear for 5 seconds, and it's possible to interrupt it. (I saw it done, but I was with about 4 other players; not sure if it was something I did or what one of them did.)

Great job Blizzard. Make a new quest line for a short time period that may not, probably will not, be accomplished. Regardless if your a daily devout customer. Three days running this quest. Two days getting the exact same hat. One day no hat at all. At that rate getting 4 hats is not likely.

Just Solo'd with my 908-DH. Interrupts didn't work well at all. Get her stuck up against that tree. Use Fiery Brand, Fel Devastation, Immolation Aura, Felblade. I found using the spacebar when feared was a good counter offensive to slow down the feared action (That's the Glide action for me on the spacebar). I had this on my list from last year but never got around to it. Glad to get it off my questline, most of all!

I love love LOVE being feared so far into the water when my interrupts are on cooldown that by the time I finally make it back, I just get feared out into the water all over again.

Fix this $#!%, Blizzard.

BFA update: She scales to 120. Melee interupt CD is short enough to solo her without getting chainfeared. 340 ilvl dk had no issues with her. For testing purposes i tried stun, which didn't work and anti-magic shell which did work against the fear.

Not sure what time some folks are going there, but I have been there every day since it opened up for 2018, and have NEVER been there alone.

If like me this year (2018) there were 20+ people there. I went to location, clicked her, clicked cauldron, went in, there where 20+ folks in there too... killed in about 30 sec, pow. got bag, got hat...

If the daily quest is not showing up for you after reset, completely log out and re-enter the game.

If you can not solo this, phase into the ghost realm and wait for others to join in. You do not need to be in a party if you can not find one. I just completed it with two Alliance members who were already attacking her.

I will also note that in 女巫的财物 I got 5 x 奶糖 and a 万圣节魔棒 - 骷髅

I didn't see this, but when you manage to kill this npc, there's a flash of text that says to drink of the cauldron or whatever. DO NOT drink it again or you will have to kill her again to get out of the dream world.

Killed her today at level 120, it seems she had also played through BfA since her level matched mine.

Well, I must have gotten better since I never felt threatened during the fight though I'd never managed to solo her during Legion.

It appears her scaling is wonky, I have killed with two 120's easily, and also three toons between 110 and 112, however, I have a 114 Monk that is getting stomped and is impossible to solo with.

If you're like me and you're STILL farming these after all these years, make sure you have your class hall guardian follower assigned to you, that's the one you get from finishing the class quest line and I can tell you that it makes a huge difference because they scale to you, not the world, so they essentially become a lvl120 powerhouse. I found out with my mage that I just could not down the mob until I assigned her follower and then it was sooooo easy. So don't pass this up. A bonus to finishing class hall quests is you get a nifty mount, maybe three depending on your class.

Is it me or did she scale poorly with the shadowlands pre patch? she is 50 elite with 100k. That's kind of at boss hp imo
