Close Enough is part of 颓而不废，堕而不落 - Chief Telemancer Oculeth storyline.

If the quest bugs out on you. (not able to pick up Oculeth for example). Drop the quest. Mount up and ride outside the Shal'Aran area. Dismount. Then take the quest again. You should be able to pick up Oculeth (enter a vehicle)

Bugged out on me as well, couldn't pick him up.

To get it working:

1. Drop the quest.
2. Dismount or make sure you're not mounted/shape shifted.
3. Accept the quest.

Should work fine after that. Seems quite a bit of quests are bugging out when you accept them while mounted/shifted.

You may have to disable addons to drop him. When you pick him up your action bar should change to have a "Drop" (down arrow) button, my addons did not allow my bar to change.

I was an idiot and forgot about the cave entrance just north of where you pick him up. I kept trying to go up the hill with him and it would make me start over. Posting this incase anyone is wondering why you keep dropping him. Take him into the cave.

Felt a bit silly...couldn't figure out how to drop the guy. Maybe it's because I use ElvUI and the intended action wasn't obvious. Maybe it's because I'm a druid and I shapeshifted and that changes my action bars.

But, whatever the case, you need to use your primary action bar to drop him once you get close to her. The UI suggests you should be able to click on her (she's glowing), but you can't. Instead , look on your action bar for the "drop" command. It's almost like carrying him puts you into a vehicle mode or something.

If you still dont remember where the entrance is, so it's at 34.8 48.8 point. Pick Oculeth, carry him inside the cave and drop off next to Thalyssra.

For those without coordinates: The cave you need should be right behind you after you pick him up to carry him. If not, just look around you until you see the two pillars. Now just walk (Carry him) between the two broken pillars until you see the cave. Continue walking until you see the turn in.

You can do emotes while carrying him, for example /dance, /kneel, /sit, /train, /cheer, /cower, /sleep, /charge, etc. Pretty amusing but pointless.

I tried to carry him to the depths of the Great Sea, for payback... but he knew what was up, and teleported away when I got close to the city. The cunning bastard.

A one-off quest: 远古魔力, which follows the Nightfallen questline, is designed to tutor you in gathering 远古魔力 and uses the 魔力探测石 to add location nodes to the mini-map in order to farm and is therefore essential to completing the Suramar storyline. This is followed by the Chief Telemancer Oculeth Questline which teaches players about the teleportation system in Suramar and ends with the 传送侦测 quest, to complete the second storyline in the 颓而不废，堕而不落 achievement.
