This is part of a number of storyline quests in 阿苏纳, and more specifically the following chain:

You are rewarded 提尔之碑 and a piece of Rare gear at the end.

Additionally, this chain completes one of the storylines required for the achievement 阿苏纳，玛塔塔.

It's possible to pickup this quest without first taking A Favor for Mr Shackles, which is strange since that quest isn't just a breadcrumb quest. It gives you an artifact relic as reward.
