Pretty much any mob will do for these, however I found the drop rate to be best in the Firewalker Runes on the SE side of the island.

Update - Best thing to do is get a 5 man group and farm...tank/heals and 3 DPS. If you're on a PVP Realm like I am, watch your back.

Not sure if it needs to be said. But be wary of handing this quest in if you're valor capped for the week, as you won't gain any.

This quest is bugged in 5.4. According to the quest I had the required 50 Epoch Stones and the questgiver had the question mark - but I could not turn in the quest, the "Continue" button was greyed out. Checking my bags I found I actually only had 42 Epoch Stones. I was unable to collect more Epoch Stones however, and abandoning the quest resulted in all Epoch Stones being removed from my bags.

I started the quest about two weeks ago, I don't know if the long delay in completion affected it in some way. I've opened a ticket, if you run into this bug I recommend opening a ticket as well.

Would like to note that, even after you've done the whole chain, this quest is still available each week for Valor (of course, there's no follow-up).

even though this is a bi-factional quest, if you change factions with this quest in-progress, you will loose all 纪元之石 you may have already farmed.

I'm not really sure but it seems that you must get the quest and turn it on the same week for the chain to continue. I've turned Courting Destiny and then got another Empowering the Hourglass (today, before server restart). Lost connection so i didn't come back since it was almost time for server restart. Later, after the restart, i've finished gathering the Epoch Stones and turned the quest but it didn't gave me One Final Turn.

Can someone confirm that?

The best place to farm these are the 巨型海龟 at Tushui Landing northward along the coast to Huojin Landing. They only have 1.3 million health and there's a few 迷时圣坛 around as well. 90% drop rate of the 纪元之石.

I also farmed the 翠雾舞者 along the way but they don't seem to have a 100% drop rate either however they only have 1.2M HP.

Fun fact, like my sister and my self who found some of the screen affects nauseating adding SET ffxGlow "0" in your wtf (which is ok as it used to be the check box that disabled the drunk affect) removes the haze from the visions.

Seem like a long quest? The valor you receive (200) is the equivalent of doing 40 dailies. Seriously worth the time.

Epoch stones are no longer in your inventory, so you can't send to your other characters(like I used to).

I've found the best spot to farm is when you summon 烈焰祭司阿克鲁斯, his minions gives an awesome drop rate, if not 100%.
