There is intentionally no dialogue in this scene... I mean *COUGH COUGH* the timeways are hazy, you must unlock more secrets to unravel the mystery, go forth adventurers!

During the PTR there was actually dialog in this cinematic, and it was much easier to understand what was actually happening. If anyone's interested it went something like this:

Thrall and Saurfang walk up to Orgrimmar's rear gate, trying to enter the city but the Kor'kron guards say something like "we don't serve you any more, get lost". Then Nazgrim appears and after some thought, gives the Kor'kron a bogus order, telling them they're needed elsewhere. The Kor'kron are confused but follow the order anyway.

Nazgrim then turns his back, allowing Thrall and Saurfang to enter the city and telling them they may not like what they find.

Since Blizz decided to remove the text/sound I managed to find a video of the old PTR one. Don't know if they plan on putting it back or not, but enjoy! :)

The actual instance entrance is located at the bottom of what was the central lake at in the Summer Fields of the Vale of Eternal Blossoms.

I don't know why this quest just doesn't give any detail as to where to go other than Siege of oggrimmar. For god sake! that doesn't even help much as to where it is at. So decided to take a screen shot of the location to show those of you that are trying to find it. It's right below that glowing white aurora coming out in the middle of mogu'shan palace. There's an entrance on the side. There's a stairway down to where you will need to enter to use that stupid vision thing for. There's no subtitle or voice whatsoever other than motion sign language only. So not worth watching the scenario. Just hit the escape button to bypass the video clip.(##RESPBREAK##)272##DELIM##Uchur##DELIM##

IMPORTANT: This is part 1 of 6 of a weekly quest chain that begins each week by collecting 50 epoch stones; therefor putting this quest off during week-1 of the new 5.4 Patch and waiting until the next week to complete it, you will not be able to advance into the 2nd part of the quest chain during week-2 without waiting another week!

Once you have completed any 1 of the 6 parts to the quest chain during a given week, you must wait until the following week to again collect 50 epoch stones and resume the next step in the quest chain.

Get it done before the weekly reset, to ensure each week you can be on the latest part of the quest!

Uncertain as to whether or not this can be done in LFR. I queued up and tried it, but it gives the message "You can't do that right now ". I may be using it at the wrong part, but from what I see everyone else saying, it should be possible to just step inside and use the item, but I can't get it to work in LFR.

go in lfr vale of eternal sorrows and when you defeat the last boss sha of pride you can use it there.
at least this is how i did it

This can be done in LFR.

I just completed "Gates of Retribution" and used the quest item "Vision of Time".

Tried at the end of the run after the last boss was killed (General Pain-in-the-butt) and it worked.

Not sure if there is a bug or something. Joined a raid, attempted to use the "Vision of Time" and it did not work. Read here that you must clear the first zone. Left. Also said here that you just needed to join someone and convert to raid. Did that and still no. Game said the person needed to be from the same server. Ok....so....Joined someone from the same server. Converted to a raid with 15 min left before server reset. Could not go in. Disbanded the party and I invited, converted to raid. Still no. Restarted my client. Still no. Ah...Bliz, we're the ones that are supposed to be playing the games. Not you playing a game "on" us. I don't find it amusing at all since now another week must go by before I can move on. (downvoting Blizz for shenanagins)

Just completed this. I was grouped with a friend and we converted to raid. I entered the raid portal and used it as soon as I entered. I didn't have to clear anything. The only problem I had is that the cut scene didn't have sound.

You can do this without having anyone else in your group. Invite a friend to a group and tell them to ignore the invite. Convert to raid, enter and use the item, leave raid. Your invite will time out - so the person you invite can continue to do quests.

1. You have to be in a raid group; as few as 2 two people will do it. You do not have to complete the raid - just be inside the instance.
2. Not all of the Vision of Time quests require the SoO instance entrance (located west of Shrine of Seven Stars). I just completed one where it took place in the Temple of the White Tiger.
3. The cut-scenes have no audio - I have no idea why.
4. Once inside the required instance click on the Vision of Time to complete the Quest.
5. Turn the Quest in back on the Timeless Isle.

If you form a raid group simply to enter the instance and complete this quest, you must remain grouped until you use the item. I made the mistake of dropping group once inside so my guild mate would be free to quest and when I clicked the item and watched the cut scene, the quest would not complete. I was transported to the grave yard. Had to reform raid group again and redo.

In LFR you need to have cleared the wing, but in normal you only need to be inside. This is probably to avoid ppl just entering and leaving the group immediately.

Since this is why people are here most likely queing for LFR then going wtf do you mean "you can't do that now?"
Push this tot he top so people don't have to search through the dribble

You must use this item when no raid member is in combat. Thus it is hard to do in LFR because someone is always pulling trash. Wait till the end of the raid or right after to boss fight. Good luck!

In case you don't have friends available and you don't want to run a full LFR wing, you can still do this with a complete stranger.

Go near the portal to Siege of Orgrimmar and invite a random person to your group. As soon as you send the invite, WoW considers that you are in a party even though the other person hasn't accepted the invite yet and probably won't. Once you send the invite, right-click on your portrait and select "Convert to Raid". Quickly enter the portal. If you did this correctly, you should be able to enter the instance before the stranger you invited declines the invite. Since you are in Normal mode, you can use the Hourglass anywhere in the instance.

Actually you cant use the Vision of Time right when walking into LFR anymore. ive only been able to use it after the Sha of Pride has been defeated... very stupid of blizzard to change that in my opinion.

You no longer have to be in a raid group to do this. Just walk in the front door of the Siege of Orgrimmar (located at 74, 42 in the Vale of Eternal Blossoms) and use it. I just did this on a character who had never even stepped foot in this raid before now.

I entered alone in 决战奥格瑞玛 in 锦绣谷 coordinates 74, 42 and simply used the 时光之眼. I have prevoiusly finished this raid and had no queue in dungeon finder.

Go to the Vale of Eternal Blossoms and go to Siege of Orgrimmar raid instance at 74, 42. It is the large white thing shooting up into the sky in front of the Mogu'Shan Palace. Go to the ground though of the white thing, There is a door on the ground that goes down a stairs and into the instance. You can do this 100% solo without entering any kind of group or raid group. As soon as you walk into the door click the Vision of Time thing the quest giver had given you and it will complete the quest and then play a short cut scene with no sound.

I had difficulty getting out of the instance. Ended up having to hearth out as walking out did not work and there is no leave instance option.
