If you're looking for the quest turn-in, it's on a wagon on the sw corner of the farm. It did not show correctly on my mini-map and was not easily seen. After the turn-in, part I (planting) becomes available again.

After planting for Work Order: Golden Lotus 1 yesterday (first day of 5.2), I was given this quest immediately by the game telling me to harvest it today to finish it. Today I finished it, picked up WO:GL1 again and planted all the crops for it and was not presented with this follow up quest right away. However, I did have 1 toon that hopped on a smothered plant just as this follow up was presented yesterday and the quest disappeared and I could never get it back. Today when I took that toon to her farm, the quest popped up automatically and allowed me to finish and pick up WO:GL1 again today. If that made any sense.

When looking for the quest turn in. This Wagon where you turn in the quest is right at the corner of your south most plot of farmland. You will find a Tiny little Question mark sitting inside the cart that you have to click.

They hot patched the way these quests are picked up/turned in today (3/8/13). Once you have planted your crop for part 1 and come back the next day to harvest it, this quest will be a blue ! over a crate in the cart next to your farm. You'll want to pick this up before you harvest.

If you turn in this quest, and then do "Work Order: Golden Lotus I" the same day, you will NOT get offered this quest as a follow up.

Don't despair and dig up your crops, though! You will get re-offered this quest on the following day the moment you harvest your first crop.

Reputation earned in this quest is affected by bonuses, for example if you purchased and used 金莲教大奖章 you will get 800 reputation. It's a really nice alternative for dailies, since harvesting your crops takes much less time than doing Golden Lotus quests over and over again.

I don't understand why you say it is blue, though it should be, seems like a endless daily with no rewards. I am exalted with them all, and have done all the work orders for all factions 10 times plus+ and it keeps being yellow both for Work orders 1 & 2. I dont understand the point?

After picking your crop, there/s a yellow ? over the crate for what you've harvested, not a blue !. Also, don't know how long this lasts for those of us who are already exalted with the different factions.

Don't bother abandoning this quest. I did the first part, then got exalted in the meantime. I harvested the turnips and abandoned. I clicked on the crate to finish a different quest; it gave me the turnip quest again. I abandoned it. I had some leftover seeds so I planted another turnip. When I went to harvest it, boom it gave me the quest again. Any time I click on the crate or havest a turnip from now until the end of wow, it will give me that quest. I put in a ticket but the gm said I just had to do the quest, there was no way around it. Forty turnips that sell for 2-5 g each vs. a dumb lesser charm and about 9 g. What a cluster****.

Although it's not documented, Blizzard has now undone the changes made in a March 7, 2013 hotfix:

The way to obtain Work Order quests on the Sunsong Ranch farm has changed. The quests will be given while harvesting crops, or by interacting with the drop-off crate.

Now, instead of starting with the 空箱子 or waiting until the crops are harvested, the Part II quest is automatically accepted as soon as the Part 1 quest completes. That happens as soon as you plant enough crops and was the way these quests originally worked. Apparently due to an attempt to make it idiot-proof, it isn't even possible to avoid accepting Part II once you complete Part 1. (The window offering the quest opens automatically, there is no "Decline" button, and the "X" button to close the window is grayed out. I don't know if that part was true before March 7.) You won't see a blue exclamation point on the crate the second day because you will have already accepted the quest the first day. The exception is if you just completed the same Part II on the same day. In that case, you won't be offered the quest until the next day.

It still is possible to abandon the Part II quest and pick it up later. If you abandon the quest, the blue "!" will appear above the 空箱子. You can pick up the quest by clicking on the box, but again, you can't decline it once the window opens.
