Incase someone gets stuck here and didn't realize it. The guy you need to speak too is on an upper level, do not go directly to his bubble (on the mini-map). The ramp up to him is north west side of the room. it is not the cool half open door with a guy standing beside it.

Upon completion of this quest the invitation is removed and the bouncers will remove you from the Boom Room if you try to re-enter. There's a pretty nice view of the fights from up there and no one around so if you are spending a lot of time doing Brawlers you may want to hold off on completing this, especially with how long the queues are currently.

I don't think there's a way to get back into the boom room. If you like it up there, don't turn the quest in. Unless you would prefer continuing the chain over sitting in the VIP lounge. :)

If you don't continue this quest chain, 特工康奈利 / 基尔特教授 will still send you the "Back in the Service" letter. It appears you can leave this quest incomplete if you wish to retain access to the Boom Room and still continue the Pandaren Campaign.

For the uninitiated, the "Boom Boom Room" was a notorious club at The Standard in 1970s/80s "Gekko era" New York. It's called "The Top of the Standard" now, since the prior name became synonymous with Wall Street *!@#$%bags and sexual harassment after Smith Barney named their "basement party room" the Boom Boom Room in honor of the club in the 90s. It's still considered one of the "toughest" door policies in NYC, which is why - I assume - success in the quest involves making it past the bouncers into the club. :)

Something i discovered last night, if you are a warlock with glyph of eye of kilrogg, you can send your eye past the bouncers, summon your demonic circle and teleport up onto the 2nd floor without getting kicked out. No quests or reputation is required to do this, just the glyph.

I'm not entirely sure how, but I looked in my inventory and the room pass wasn't there, yet I still have the quest and am able to get into the Boom Room. I haven't been able to replicate this so far on my alts.

Many have mentioned at being puzzled at being able to enter the Boom Room without an invitation. Here is the reason why.

Has the character in question reached Rank 8 in the Brawler's Guild? Then congratulations: that character is a VIP and has earned their way in.

Not Rank 8? Then yer punk ass ain't getting through the door.
