Simply put on your grummle disguise once you land at fire camp bataar , take this quest and the other quest , walk into the little camp and right click one of the yaks there , causing it to run around. Quickly go to the table between the two larger tents and swipe the book (journal) off it. BE AWARE , there is a wolf patrolling the camp who can see through stealth / disguise.

holy crap is this quest bugged.... trying since 30min to loot the journal :( I get the animation, the cast bar but it doesnt loot.

One really needs to think of this and Bugging Out as 2 parts of the same quest. Some things to note:

I got exactly 2 uses of the yaks... once when they were sparkling, once when they were not, then nothing except a grunt. The first time was just to observe what happened, the second time, no sparkles, but got the distraction and the book. I had collected 2 of the 3 from Bugging out, then did the Journal and bingo, no more yaks to use after I got the journal.

I then watched the dog, then made a beeline from the yaks with a quick turn into the big tent w/o aggroing Garrosh. Hightailed it out back past where the yaks were. I actually had to do it two times because the first time I got zip clicking on the stuff in the big tent, so I quit and relaunched and now it gave me the gear cursor.

You can get the Journal without even using distractions, regardless of Garrosh's position: he won't aggro you unless you're VERY close to him, you can get in range of looting the book without aggroing Garrosh even if he's right by the table (approach from the outside, of course).

When you pick up the quest from Cousin Goottooth (59.22 - 84.23), put on the disguise & go into the camp. Without the disguise, the guards will be highlighted in red & attack you but with the disguise they'll be yellow & become no threat to you but BEWARE of Nero that patrols the area.

The journal is on the table where you'll find Garrosh Hellscream. Use the Yaks as a distraction to move him away and (sometimes?) his wolf but to be on the safe side, make sure Nero is way on the other end of the Fire Camp Bataar. Click on the Yaks a few seconds at a time instead of one after the other & everyone will be scrambling around & away from Garrosh's table.

Note: The only bug I've come across is when you've left the camp & you're unable to click to put on the disguise. All you have to do is abandon the quest & go back to Cousin Goottooth to pick it up again.

If you're curious you can in fact pull Garry here, and unlike a lot of other npc's he's killable. Granted you don't get anything for it, except the satisfaction, but you can do it.

So I noticed Garrosh was attackable.

I decided to see how hard he hits, since I've tanked him several times in Siege of Orgrimmar. To my surprise, I was able to keep myself alive with Eternal Flame alone. I put on some music and tried to kill him, and did so successfully.
