I'm kinda sad a major lore event like this is getting only 2 minor quests.

Better be some significant fall out over this one later on Blizz.. maybe its own book? I mean the ramifications of Dalaran having an Alliance presence and no Horde, Jaina (with her obvious anti-horde stance) leading the Kirin Tor, The Kirin Tor openly opposing Garrosh at Theramore all should require some delving.

Time to do some major lore building on the Dalaran, Blood Elves, Silvermoon and the Silver Covenant I think.

Any attempts to commit suicide on this quest will result in Jaina teleporting you back to safety.

That means no exploring this phased Dalaran.

Do not worry, whatever options should you choose in the dialogue, the result will always be the same, except for Jaina's words in quest.
Also you can safely abandon the quest to see what would Jaina say if you chose the other option.

You're so passionate for your cause and clear in convictions. Believe me when I say that the Sunreavers are the same. The Horde is their family.

Not all of them support Garrosh. But they're not about to abandon their own people... I couldn't ask them to without tearing the Kirin Tor apart.

The Kirin Tor is sacred to me. We need to stay united.

I'm keeping close tabs on the Horde and a lot is going down. The Blood Elves have been sent in to tear apart every mogu ruin that Garrosh can find. Result? I'm finding a lot of elven corpses. I don't think they're too happy about it. Maybe we can exploit this?

Heard you've been having tea and biscuits with Jaina Proudmoore. She give you more bunk about the Kirin-Tor being neutral? We'll see how long that lasts.

after this quest there is a portal back to lion's landing, so there is no need to hearth :)

After jumping down while disconnected from internet/lagging, you will die when you reconnect again, and your corpse will be teleported back to the Purple Parlor.
Upon releasing, you will appear as ghost below in the Violet Citadel. There are no portals back, and jumping down from Dalaran will just teleport your ghost back to the Violet Citadel, leaving you no option but to spirit ress and take the resurrection sickness.

Once you are alive, you will not get teleported back to the Purple Parlor, and you may freely roam through the city. All objects you could interact with are removed (Portals, Fall of the Lich King cinematic near the fountain, books (schools of arcane magic)), except for chairs, mailboxes and guildbanks.

Fishing gives items you would fish up in the ordinary Dalaran. Fishing near the Violet Hold, for example, will grant you low level fishes or 光滑的鳗鱼, near the sewers you will catch a lot of 下水道鲤鱼 and 噬魔鱼, and near the fountain i.a. and 钱币大师

Also, this Dalaran is full of Sunreavers (the same Dalaran as used later this quest-line, so you might see other players too). The Sunreavers in the main city won't attack you, but there are large clusters of hostile ones in the Sewers and the Sunreaver's Sanctuary. You should watch out there, for you still have the resurrection sickness and are really vulnerable (plus 75% reduced damage done).

If you want to escape from this Dalaran, jumping down is no option; you will hear the sound you always hear when falling down in eye of the storm, and you see your character laying on the water 80yds beneath you. No spirit ress is required now however, since your body will get teleported back to the violet citadel when you hit the release button.
You can't fly away either, because only ground mounts are allowed here.
Leaving the place is only possible by hearhstoning/teleporting (For example mage/DK/druid teleport or items), getting summoned by friends or a warlock, or, if you lost your hearthstone, by contacting a GM.

Note that you MUST use the portal at Lion's Landing to get to the purple parlor. If you travel there by other means you will not be able to pick up the quest.

I strongly suggest casting a glance. SPOILER ALERT You will see Jaina Proudmoore killing Horde NPCs on the streets of Dalaran; quite a sight! (pic attached).

So where is the Portal? Is there rep requirement? I am looking all over and can't find a thing, I am Honored 8%. I did the Kun-Lai Quest last week. ?

Priests with Mind Vision spell can cast that on Vereesa Windrunner at top of steps to Violet Citadel (she's the only) "person" visible from the balcony you're on. Once you mind vison her, you can recast it back and forth among the various other NPC's (sunreavers) that she can see. You find various NPC's quivering in fear or running around. Depending on where she is, you see that Lady Jaina Proudmoore is circling Dalaran accompanied by two water elementals and eliminating the sunreavers.

Seeing Shattrath become a ghost town didn't phase me much, but when it happened to Dalaran I wasn't happy. This cutscene is for all the folks that still hearth here.

Stupid question time: How do I start the quest? What is the required reputation? I just completed the quests that come before this, but I have no new quests.

I'm trying to get exalted with Operation Shieldwall.
I'm using Zygorguides.
The guide is telling me to pick up this quest "The Fate of Dalaran" from Anduin Wrynn but does not tell me where he is.
I have no idea where to pick it up.
In Shrine of the Seven Stars, I used the portal to Dalaran, but could not find Anduin where Wowhead says he will be.

Where do I pick up the quest "The Fate of Dalaran"?
After doing some searching in Wowhead, I found a pre-quest "The Kirin Tor" 肯瑞托, but that quest is not showing up in Lion's Landing for me. There are no comments for that quest.
Any help will be appreciated.
