Quest is all kinds of bugged, i dont even see the mob to kill? ive been waiting for 10 mins now, guildies say its bugged, thx blizz, not like rep is super important right now or nothing.

There is nothing wrong with the mob, it is there. The bug is with the NPC to turn the quest in, she doesn't appear to show up for anyone on any realm.

Got quest, killed mob, npc disappeared, tried abandoning quest to try it again, npc still gone, will try again next daily reset as i only got the quest after doing two consecutive groups of dailies

I can confirm as well that it's bugged.

tried to do /tar on the person and it never picked them up.
I'm kind of disappointed.

The reason behind the bug is that the turn in mob remains in phase with the quests you did back at the lake right before this quest.

To turn in this quest, fly back to the lake and line your flying mount up to where the quest giver is back at the turn in location. If you fly your mount directly at him, you will be able to turn it in before he fades into phase. Be quick. Took a couple of times but it works.

just got this quest for the 1st time today. i have been lookin for him for about a hr and still cant find him. does any1 know if he has a different spawn point or another pat path.

As of now it seems to be working just fine. Took about 2 minutes to find npc and was able to turn it in no problem. hopefully that means it is fixed now :)
