There are 3 different sets of dailies you can receive, the Blackguard Defenders, the Omnia Mystics, and the Wu Kao Assassins. This quest is part of the Blackguard Defenders set.

You will receive 4 initial quests, when those are all turned in you will get a final quest to kill one of the major leaders of the area.

Is there something special you have to do to obtain this quest? I know it's an accept quest, but every time I get the Blackguard dailies it's Cheng-Bo. I even tested the theory that you get the accept quest based on where you are and what you've finished, but every freaking time it's always Cheng-Bo!

If you're just attempting to get Uruk! for the achievement, you only have to do the two Deadtalker's Plateau dailies.

Once you turn those in, you will either get Uruk!, or the follow-up "boss" that day is Cheng Bo.

There is no need to do the Gai-Cho dailies to find out.

I do not know wtf is going on. Trying to do this achievement over and over and over again. It's ALWAYS Cheng-Bo, never seen Uruk as a final boss. At least 20 times so far.

Ya, im having the exact same problem. i keep getting cheng bo! quest....never uruk. i got uruk before when i wasnt attempting this ach. but now since i think a week or 2 before 5.2 i havent seen the uruk! quest once in 10 tries for it.

From my experience I'm 99% positive that the quest is NOT random at all.

I might be wrong but I noticed that: 5 are the possible dailies from Master Snowdrift. 3 of which are given 100% from him:

Now... The interesting part is the 4th quest and the thing I noticed is that if Spirit Dust is up then by completing this and Assault Deadtalker's Plateau then Uruk! will be enabled.
If The Deadtalker Cipher is up then Cheng Bo! will be enabled after completing the 2 above quests in his area...

This is just getting silly. Been trying to do this for two months now, and EVERY single time it's cheng-bo. What is going on here?

And of course the day after i wrote this i got the quest.

Considering the amount of times I'd seen this quest appear in 2 months (0), I was convinced it was generally just rarer. However I made a ticket yesterday and received this response:

"As you correctly pointed out these quests do have a 50/50 chance of appearing, there is no guarantee it will be one or the other though, to put it into perspective if you flip a single coin one a day every day for a month there is a chance it will come up heads every day, it is unavoidable but it can happen, the quest you need will hopefully appear soon."

So I guess I'm just one of many very unlucky people.

EDIT: 20 days later.... and still waiting for the Uruk quest to appear.

EDIT: 3 days later and TODAY WAS THE DAY! Finally! Don't give up guys.

Finally had this quest show up today after months of waiting. Yes, months!

If you're going after Know Your Role here's what I did:

I sent my pet on Uruk and chose Protector Yi as my companion. The two of them brought Uruk down fairly quickly (I hid behind a tree while they did this just in case) and I attacked him right before he died. I was in no danger of taking damage and received credit.

Didn't see this mentioned but to save yourself time if you are just waiting for Uruk just peek inside the tent where the two final bosses spawn. If its Cheng Bo in there then you know he is slated for the final quest of the day and no need to waste time doing the quests if all you need is Uruk for your achievement.

Hey, i've just spoke to a MJ on a french server, you can translate it on french comment but i'll try to explain what he wrote.

In fact, the achievement is not bugged at all but it require to do some things :

you got an invisible buff when you pickup the first quest up to the last, if you lose it or take a damage between them, the buff disapear.

if you are on the last part of the quest line and you didn't have this invisible buff, you cant get this achievement. If you decide to do the last part of the quest line later and you leave the zone like doing pvp or dongeon or whatever and take any damage, you cant get the achievement.

he also said that following a friend with flying mount have small chance to work.

In order to get the achievement, you cannot take damage during the two lead up quests AND this one.

So after doing the quest 2 times without getting credit for 看清你的责任 I have contacted a GM. Appariently you need to do the prequests (plateu ones) without taking damage to make it count as well. Could've said so on the achievment...

You can absolutely take as much damage as you want during this achievement, because there is a bug that is easily exploitable.

As Nymrohd posted in his comment earlier, when you accept any of these quests, a hidden buff is cast on you: Blackguard Protection. It's extinguished when you take damage. Still having this buff when you turn in the quest is the actual criteria of the achievement.

What makes this interesting is that all six quests apply the same buff.

As a result, you can accept three of the daily quests, do them normally, and take lots of damage. But before you turn them in, fly back to camp and accept the fourth quest. This will re-cast the buff on you. Then turn in the three you completed. You will get credit for the achievement. On a different day, do the same thing in a different order to get the one you didn't get.

The boss quests Uruk! and Cheng Bo! aren't offered until you've completed all of others for that day, so it's slightly harder to use this trick on these two, but still possible. Accept the boss quest, kill the boss, but don't turn it in. Wait until a different day, when this set of quests is offered again, to accept one of the other quests right before turning it in. That way you'll re-get the buff. I confirmed that this works.

Still haven't seen this quest after 40 days and I'm hoping that mentioning that will jynx it into existence :P

EDIT: Sure enough...3 days later when this set was available again...I got Uruk!, and my acheivement!

I received this quest as the last one of the 影踪大师. It is true that you only have to do two Deadtalker's Plateau dailies to receive 乌奴克！ from 雪流大师
Not once before I was offered Uruk.
