After killing your first mob you are buffed with 青龙之怒 giving you a damage aura that hits all nearby enemy targets with 碎玉闪电.
After killing enough mobs, the buff will fade and you will then be buffed with 白虎之怒 allowing your attacks to proc 粉碎咆哮 to deal a large amount of damage and stun mobs.
After killing enough mobs, the buff will fade and you will then be buffed with 玄牛之力 which grants a damage aura that hits all nearby enemy targets with 公牛冲锋.

After killing all 100 mobs you return to normal so don't pull a large pack of mobs if you're almost done with the quest.

If you need to be Exalted with Golden Lotus to access the quest why reward 150 reputation with Golden Lotus?

This quest is offered by Sun Tenderheart (56,43). You cannot pick it up until exalted with Golden Lotus, and you cannot pick it up if you've finished your dailies with Golden Lotus for the day.

As of 16th of October, the White Tiger's shatter effect is not working causing you freeze the enemies but not do the extra damage from Shatter, causing you to rely on your own damage.

The other buffs work fine, however.

This quest is immensely fun as a demonology warlock. With Hellfire (and immolation aura with enough fury) you just walk around and kill anything that gets in range when you have the different buffs from the aspects.

For anyone that has mobile aoe or just going aoe crazy just watch when you get close to the 100/100 total because once you do you lose the last buff and are stuck facing a crowd of enemies. Or in my case running away until you drop combat.

Edit: Since a hotfix on October 25th, 莱文·黎明之刃 will now offer 魔古族的口信. This should solve the issue of not being able to start the chain on the same day you reach exalted.

After hitting exalted with Golden Lotus I was not able to get this quest at all. I ended up waiting until the dailies reset, and here is what I discovered:

和谐者智先生 will give you the quest 魔古族的口信. It is completed inside The Silent Sanctuary near Mistfall Village. The quest is then delivered to 孙·柔心 at The Golden Pagoda, after which she will hand you the quest 三人之力.

It would appear that you won't be able to start this quest line until the next daily reset after you hit exalted with Golden Lotus.

It seems to be if you have finished the dailies at the Golden Pagoda hub u have to wait for reset as
Zhi seems to vanish.. oh well another day of waiting.....

As of today, you do NOT need to wait for daily reset for this quest to appear when you hit exalted and have done the dailies. Leven Dawnblade at the Golden Pagoda gives you the starting quest.

If anyone missed the Dancing Water Skimmer for the 致所有我关心过的小松鼠？ achievement, they once again appear in most any water during this quest.

The buff from the White Tiger is almost useless, and sadly it's the one you keep the longest.

There is a downtime in-between buffs, so if you pull a large pack and your buff transitions before you kill the pack, your going to take a lot of damage and potentially die

It also appears that the zone for this quest also affects the faction cities.

After reaching exalted(congrats to you btw) fly over to Setting Sun Garrison to pick up the quest from 莱文·黎明之刃. I was not finished with the dailies, and was able to start this quest chain immediately(not having to wait till the next daily reset) Another option you may ride in style rather than flying over to Setting Sun Garrison by purchasing 天蓝骑乘仙鹤缰绳, 金黄骑乘仙鹤缰绳, and last but not least 帝王骑乘仙鹤缰绳 from 宽仁的贾鲁. I couldn't decide which to buy so i bought all three :)

Be careful not to pull too many mobs when reaching the 100 mogu goal, once you kill your hundredth you'll lose the celestial buff and you'll have to kill the remaining mobs in combat with you on your own. Or run. Fast. (or play dead, for us clever people).

Just realized why i didnt get this quest as soon i hitted Exalted. You might do The normal quest before getting this quest. I did
The battle of axe king And then I contunie to do the three quest. As soon i completed i ran back to Setting sun of Garrison and Voila! The quest showed up. Doing the ques now so i can get my necklace, Wish me luck with killing 100 mobs ;)

You can get the quest after finishing all of the dailies. Check the area you ended at for the quest giver or one of the other quest giver areas. There is no bug, just can't pick the quest up from who you think.

A good spot to encounter many of the 100 mobs you need to kill is on the stairs that lead to the questing area of the first part of the Golden Lotus dailies (stairs to Golden Stair)

When you reach exalted u must do 魔古族的口信 and 逝者已矣 first.

After that 三人之力 can be taken from 孙·柔心

When u have first and last buffs ( 青龙之怒 and 玄牛之力 ) just find big groups go middle of them and wait till they die. Easy to do. When you reach 100 kill buff fades so don't make big pulls when u reach 95+

This quest seems a little daunting when you only see mogu scattered here and there, and you have to kill 100 of them. The buffs you get throughout this quest increase dps, reduce damage, freeze enemies, etc.

The best places to go for the quickest kills are the large armies that gather once you phase into this questline. Some of their coords are:

45, 46 (Whitepetal Lake)
46, 37 (Pathway near WP Lake)
62, 62
68, 54 (good area to finish your last 10-15 kills, since the mobs are scattered in groups of 3 - 6 and you won't pull too many once your buffs disappear)

When you have the Strength of the Black Ox buff, get on your flying mount and just run up to mobs and the buff will do the knockback and killed them for you. No need to attack directly and easy escape once you'v got your 100 kills.

Watch out if you have the ox, he randomly disappears and leaves you with a crowd of elites by yourself. Happened to me by whitepetal lake.

(And no I didn't have 100, I only had 93.)

Also tiger still seems to be broken because his buff didn't do much of anything.

In this quest, you have the power of the three ancient spirits! You can just run into battle, and just kill the mogu like a GOD! Possibly my 3rd favorite quest of all time, with 死亡之翼降临之日 coming in second and 任务给予者的体验 coming in first place!
Really cool and fun quest! :D

A word of caution... As of 5.3, if you have one of the buffs to aid in killing, you will lose it as you enter/leave the horde dig site in the questing area. I found it best to avoid that area altogether.

Was buggy for me when I did it. I would lose the buff a few seconds after obtaining it, forcing me to get all 100 kills with out any of the buffs.

While on this quest yours and the enemy faction cities (Shrine of Two Moons/Shrine Of Seven Stars) will be phased so if you really need to, you can have a wonder round without getting attacked (there is hardly any difference between the two of them)...however whichever one you enter you will lose whatever buff you have on at the time....simply kill another mogu invader to regain.

I accepted it, but then took a break.
When coming back online, I wanted to check my selling's in the (engineering) auctionhouse, in the Shrine Of Two Moons...no ah npc there. Even worser; no npc's at all.

Well, this was kind of funny to see, cause I thought it was bugged. Totally forgot about that quest. So I wanted to check the Alliance Shrine Of Seven Stars. And yep, the same.
At that moment I realized this quest and decided to move inthere upstairs, in their portal room.
Wanted to abandon the quest overthere, to surprise some players, ghegheghe....;p

But nothing happened! No players, no npc's and outside they were still fighting.
So went back to the questgiver, and yep, I could take the quest again. But whatever I did, those mobs kept fighting and no vendors and other npc's anywhere.

So you need to finish this pretty boring quest and 最后的力量 to get access to your auctionhouse and vendors in the Shrine again, otherwise you keep stucked in this phase....1/100....2/100....3/100....pffff :(

ps. post is ofcourse specially for those who not go for the final questloot, but just want to do a 'little' quest inbetween ;)
ps. and don't think its a nice way to go mining or picking herbs outside of The Vale Of Eternal Blossoms, cause once outside, all mobs etc are just there like normal

The quickest way to complete this and get your 100 kills is to head north to the Golden Stairs, where the daily quests are completed (way north of Whitepetal Lake - think 崩裂的巨兽). The mobs will just be streaming down the stairs and are easy to kill since you get a celestial buff, much like in the Twin Consorts encounter in Throne of Thunder.
