For handing this quest in, Anji is in Ruins of Guo-Lai, at 34,38. So not in the Golden Pagoda as your world map suggests.

Do you need to be in a certain phase to see these guys?
I can't find them anywhere.
I started the questline and killed 6/8.
Then logged out to find out the next login that these guys where nowhere to be found.
Any help anyone?

The area that is highlighted in the minimap has been thoroughly searched up to the milimeter, but I havent found them

Had same phasing issue.

I just found a player who is on the Quest 郭莱古厅, just let him invite you and kill 8 of them while he is inside to kill Dagou, and you get credit for the quest.

I found that if you can't find the Shao-Tien Precursors, any Mogu named "Shao-Tien Something" counts for this quest, even though it isn't marked as such.

I found out that it was only Shao-Tien Marauders that worked for me

This is not completely true. E.g. at The Golden Stair (37,21), the Shao-Tien Marauders do count for this quest, whereas the Shao-Tien Soul-Renders do not count.

However, the advise was still really helpful in getting the quest done, so thanks so much!

I found that if you can't find the Shao-Tien Precursors, any Mogu named "Shao-Tien Something" counts for this quest, even though it isn't marked as such.

This works but with one slight exception. Go to the Golden Stair, that is ignore the recommended area for the quest if you are having phasing issues. Kill the Marauders! They count towards the quest progress. Ignore the Soul-Renders because they do not contribute.

The Shao-tien Fist mobs to the west nearby also count to this achievement in case you have phasing issues

If you cant find Anji Autumnlight at the Golden Pagoda like your maps suggests, fly west to to the Ruins of Guo-Lai. A new question mark will appear on your map showing you where she actually is. She's standing in front of a tent in the ruins. Coords 33, 38.

It is a phasing issue that's messing up the map markers - no worries.
