Dailies start out at the The Golden Pagoda after completing a quest line starting with 历史见证 (Alliance)/历史见证(Horde).

At Neutral reputation, dailies are available at The Golden Pagoda and Whitepetal Lake. Additional dailies also become available at Mistfall Village, the Ruins of Guo-Lai, and the Setting Sun Garrison at higher levels of reputation.

It will take approximately 24 days to gain Exalted reputation without any reputation buffs.

The runes are small and can be hard to spot, as they are also grayish like the walls they are on. They spawn pretty scarce, so you might have to fly around a bit to get them all. The sparkling is also small and is easy to not notice.

The drop rate needs to be higher. Even at off peak times it is a giant pain to collect 12 of these!

Note: These spawn on the walls, not the ground and if you find one, camp there. They seem to spawn every 2 to 3 mins. Therefore this quest will take between 24 to 26 minutes to complete or longer. This is important if you are surrounded by other players all trying to complete the same quest and they refuse to group up.

(edit): It took me exactly 25 minutes to complete and I was able to do 灰色蛛网 while I camped the one spawn site.

'It's the weird colour scheme that freaks me. Every time you try to gather one of these weird grey runestones, which are grey on a grey on a grey background, a small grey light lights up grey to let you know you've done it.'

But seriously, I hate this quest. I hate this quest so much. Every time I do it I get a freaking headache halfway through and end up just camping one spawn point.

Beware! Maxed out camera and a huge mount can make this quest harder than it already is.

I just skipped this quest. There are 10 ppl running around trying to grab the same spawns and there is, of course, the typical jerkoffs who steal yours if you need to clear a mob to get to it.

Skipping this one does not seem to keep you from getting the last 2 dailies from the Golden Lotus for the day, and I still got my Treasures of the Vale

I hate this quest so much. The spawn rates are incredibly low and they blend in with the grey walls. By far the worst quest in MOP.
