Part 1:

The local in Moonglade whom you can to speak with is the flight master, Silva Fil'naveth. She'll tell you to head out to Darkshore for one half of the pendant. Fly or hearth to Darkshore, then head north up the road near the Cliffspring River. Once you get near it, start heading north out to the shore, then into the ocean. Swim out to 48, 11. You'll see a large, gray rock sticking out of the water. But before you go for the seal, you'll probably need to deal with the Elder Threshers first. Once you eliminate them, swim to the north side of the rock and down to the bottom and retrieve the seal from the chest. Congrats! You've completed the first half of the quest...

Part 2:
The next half of the pendant can be found in the Westfall area. To get to Westfall, you have about a 45 minute run ahead of ya., Let me get you headed in the right direction.

In Auberdine, run past the innkeeper onto the pier and run down it until you can make a left or right. Go left to the end of the pier and take the boat to Menethil Harbor. Once there, run to shore and talk to Shellei Brondir (the gryphon master) to get the flight path. Then go north out of the harbor into the Wetlands, and STAY ON THE ROAD!!! (chances are you aren't of level to be doing stuff here yet, and if you wander off you may find a quick trip to your grave. Lots of hungry crocs around ;)
Follow the road all the way east and down to the southern part of the Wetlands map until the road takes a last minute turn west which leads to Dun Algaz (54,70). Go through the tunnel, out onto the road, into another tunnel (repeat like 3 or 4 times). Just keep on the road. **CAUTION! Be on the lookout for Dragonmaw Grunts and Scouts (orcs). There are a couple who hang out near the road, and chances are good that they will attack. If you can, get a root off on them and go.**
As you go through the last tunnel, you'll enter the land of Loch Modan. Follow the road south until you get to about 32,49 - just outside the town of Thelsamar. Head just SE off the road to a dwarf named Thorgrum Borrelson (gryphon master) to get access to the flight path, which you will be thankful for later on.

Hop back on the road and continue south to about 23,70 where you will probably see a traveling merchant, and take a right on that road. Follow it and go through the South Gate Pass, which takes you out to the snowy area of Dun Morogh. Follow the road west all the way down until you get to coords 37,44. Now make a right and cross the small bridge, then head up the hill to get to Ironforge. Once inside, open up your map and head to the center of it to the Great Forge. Look for another gryphon master just next to it and speak with him for the flight path here (Gryth Thurden). Now open up your map again, and head to the area known as Tinker Town, which leads you into the zone portal for the Deeprun Tram. Take the Tram which takes you to Stormwind. Open your map again and head to the Trade District, then look for gryphon master Dungar Longdrink. Speak to him for the flight path then do a 180 and dive off into the water. Swim past the Valley of Heroes then get to shore and run up and out of the entrance gates into Elwynn Forest. As SOON as you leave the gates, make an immediate right and follow the Elwynn border all the way SW until you hit the road again, then make a right on the road to enter Westfall. Go down the road until you see gryphon master Thor off the right side of the road near Sentinel Hill. Talk to him then head straight west, off of the road, past the mobs onto the shore and into the waters of The Great Sea. Swim out to 17,32 dive down deep until you see a bubbly fissure. As you approach it for air, open up the chest and grab the second half of the pendant. Now it's time to go put it together. Off to Moonglade we go! Teleport!!

Once in Moonglade, run west towards the Shrine of Remulos again. Hit your Moonglade teleport one more time.

Now run up to Dendrite and speak with him. Still not done!!! Fly or hearth to Darnassus again and go to Cenarion Circle to speak with the druid to get your Sea Lion form and belt.

Now breathe out, log off and go to bed already :P

The Half Pendant of Aquatic Agility:
This one is in Sludge Fen in the north eastern barrens. Easy to see its a nasty green bog being messed up by the Venture Co mining Company. If you dive in to the nasty green water you find a chest in about the middle behind a wooden barricade just swim around and open it.

You do not have to do this quest, but you can if you like.

The items aren't marked on the map because you aren't turning the quest in to the items. They're just objectives; the only time you see the item marked with the yellow question mark is when you actually complete the quest (or at least the current step) at the item itself. In this case, the items should sparkle, but won't be marked on the map at all.

Barrens: 56,8 (confirmed) - Center of pond
Silverpine Forest: 29,29 (confirmed) - Right next to an air vent (great sea coords are 39,33) - Both coords are the same though

The Half Pendant of Aquatic Endurance:
This one's a bit harder if you still in the barrens head east to ogrimar. Get the Zepplin in Orgimar and head to Under City. Once you get to Undercity follow the road south until your in silver pine (remember this cause its how you're gonna get a nice blue ring in the Shadow Fang Keep Instance) Continue on the road until you see the road that turns west. Take the road to the west to a village called Spulcher just before you go up the hill to spulcher head north toward the greatsea you should see a shipwreck on the coast swim striaght west of the wreck and then keep swiming untill you get almost to where you fatigue bar appers if the bar appers you've gone to far look aroung there should be a small chest near some sea bubbles (you can breath) there is you pendant. now head back to moonglade connect it near where you got the quest and your done.

In silverpine, the second half is at ~30,28. You have to swim WAY down, to the bottom of the ocean. There is air bubbles there. You won't see the objective in the minimap in the surface.

I have both pendants... then i formed them....now im supposed to bring them back to the person at nighthaven.....but shes not there or at the shrine...and the druid trainer at cenarion enclave can't help me.....what am i doing wrong???????

For alliance, the location of the fissure and the chest in Westfall is 18, 33... it is not 17,32. 17,32 is too far in the ocean and you will fatigue and die.

There are a couple of things that can be done while you make the run to Westfall.

- Quest: Stormpike's Order (http://www.wowhead.com/?quest=1338) from Mountaineer Stormpike in Loch Modan.
- Quest chain: The Lost Pilot (http://www.wowhead.com/?quest=419) from Pilot Hammerfoot in Dun Morogh. A very short detour. You need to use the North Gate Pass for this. Total of 990 XP at level 16.
- Visit weapon master.Buliwyf Stonehand (http://www.wowhead.com/?npc=11865) in Ironforge. He'll teach you 1H and 2H Maces.
- Quest chain: Deeprun Rat Roundup (http://www.wowhead.com/?quest=6661) from Monty in Deeprun Tram station in Ironforge. Total of 990 XP at level 16.

Upon reeaching the location in the Barrens where the half-pendant is located, I encountered a level 18 Rare-spawn ooze called Sludge Beast. I defeated it, and it yielded 2 green items.

Directly west of where the lakes converge with the small island in the middle of them. I found it at 18.3, just beyond the sunken anchor. Swim down to the bubbly fissure, open the box, then teleport to moonglade to the Shrine of Remulos. Right click on the halves to combine them. Then go back to Dendrite in the northern-most building. He'll send you back to Darnassus to get the sea lion form from Bearwalker. Congrats.

I quested in Ghostlands from 16-20 so didn't bother doing this quest till lvl 20. At level 18 you can use Elixer of Water Breathing and Potion of Water Breathing to make the underwater parts easy.

The coords for the Silverpine box are 100% correct, but the problem is that it's pretty deep. Just get right on those coords (again, 29,29 on the Silverpine map, 39,33 in the "Great Sea") and swim straight down for a bit.

You should see a bubble fissure and the box next to it.

Alliance @Westfall: Watch for lvl 20-21 elite sharks that slowly patrol that ocean shelf. They can be a nasty surprise when you swim down and if you swim back up.

No one explicitly mentioned this, and I know I was confused when I first did this quest long ago.

The two flight masters are the ONLY locals who will talk to you about the pendant. No one else in town will say anything at all related to this quest, so don't worry about missing out on any special dialogue.

A small edit to clarify - the two flight masters I mean are the two in town standing next to each other (for Druids only), not the ones outside of town to the south (which are for any class).

I highly suggest buying a "Exilir of Water Breathing" they don't run for more than 10s, and it's very handy... I wasn't sure what i was doing when i went in looking for the chest, and so... I died. It said i was in the Great Sea, and i was then transported to the Spirit rez'er in X-Roads. I wasn't happy... So then, i had to spend another 30minutes getting back there. Save yourself the time!

I did eventually find the spot. With how the location sits practically right on the border between the Silverpine and Great Sea zones, it's easy to get mixed up on the coordinates. I've taken a couple of screenshots, one of me floating over the spot, and another of where it shows me on the map (in Silverpine) in that same spot. Hope that helps.

Oh, and to prove Hellizzy isn't lying, I've thrown in the screenshot I took at the Crossroads GY. Like Hellizzy I wasn't very lucky the first time trying to find the place and suffered the same fate.

Easiest way to get to the second pendant (17,32 Westfall), is to take the boat from Auberdine to Menethil Harbor, and then simply swim to westfall... takes around 30-40 minutes, but there is nothing in the way, so you can get there no matter how low lvl you are.

17,32 are coords. If you have an addon that show coordinates on your map, these are the ones to follow. Really good addon.
And sorry, since I did that quest quite a while ago I dont think I can submit a screenshot. But it is in northwest wesfall. West coast. Almost at the top of the west coast. Out in the water, just at the border to fatigue-territory. Its really deep, right next to a air-clam. Pretty hard to find.

1. If you fail, you have to go a long road from The Crossroads to The Sepulcher, as stated before. So before searching the Half Pendant of Aquatic Endurance, as a Horde druid, make The Sepulcher your home. By teleporting in Moonglade, you will easily go back to TB.
2. The item is not very deep and is really at the edge before Silverpine and The Great Sea. So you can see it before the fatigue bar appears. Good luck.

This quest does not seem to have a "level limit." At level 36 this quest was still Yellow Difficulty to my druid and when turned in I received 2800 exp.

For the Horde quest, when you go to reunite the pendant in the Shrine of Remulos, make sure you're standing under one of the spirit gates. Otherwise, it won't work. This drove me nuts for about five minutes before a guildmate helped me out.

Hint: The "locals" who know the locations of the two halves are the 'free ride' Hippogryph and Windrider masters , on the southwest part of Nighthaven, near the Herbalist house and with a nice lake view.)
Collect the two halves of the pendant.
Horde
One half is in a "Strange Lockbox" at the bottom of the Sludge Fen, which is in the northern Barrens .
One half is off the coast of North Tide Run, which is in the northwest corner of Silverpine Forest. Find the shipwreck and swim due west until you reach the "dark" water . If you see the fatigue bar you've gone too far out. Take a peek below the water and look around for some bubbles : The lockbox containing the pendant half is right next to the water bubbles. You may not see the bubbles from the surface. It is located where the shelf slopes down into the sea. Swim down to the bubbles, catch your breath, and open the box.
Alliance
One half is off the coast of Westfall. There are detailed instructions in the Travel Guide to get to Stormwind; you must use the "safest route" instructions at the bottom of the guide's "darnassus to ironforge or stormwind, aggro mobs will prevent you from taking the main route. Westfall is a short distance to the southwest. Swim out due west from the Gold Coast Quarry. Swim north along the shelf where it goes off into the deep water (where you get the Fatigue bar). There is a large anchor on the bottom near the drop off. Swim to that and look out into the deep water and there is a 'bubbling fissure' (looks like a huge clam). If you get in the bubble area you can breathe and recharge your air. The chest with the pendant part is right near there at . Beware because sometimes there is an elite reef shark patrolling the area. Collect it and if you don't want to mess around in Westfall, teleport to Moonglade.

One half is off the coast of Darkshore . Swim north from the mouth of the Cliffspring river until you see a claw-like rock formation with one long and skinny spire, and the second short but thick, reminiscent of a crab claw. The chest is where they come together under water. This area is patrolled by Elder Darkshore Threshers (16-18), which can be a challenge if you are level 16 and a bit low on breath. The Threshers, while intimidating, are fairly easy to simply nuke to death with Wrath and Moonfire. There is one Thresher that is stationary right next to the chest -- this one must die. After that it's possible to simply get right above it and swim straight down without getting close enough to draw aggro from any of the patrols.

Hint: along the northern shore in Darkshore , Gelkak Gyromast starts a short quest line that has an end reward of 5 elixirs of water breathing, which come in very handy in these underwater steps. It is not able to be soloed at these levels, however.
Combine the parts at the Shrine of Remulos, then bring the Pendant to Dendrite Starblaze.
Aquatic Form
Once you return the Pendant of the Sea Lion to Dendrite (Moonglade), he will give you a follow-up quest to return to Mathrengyl Bearwalker (Darnassus) or Turak Runetotem (Thunder Bluff) to get your aquatic form.
Go for a swim in the nearest body of water. You will really enjoy aquatic form for traveling around in water.

I just helped someone do this, and the Westfall half was at 17, 33. It was right on the edge of the dropoff. Past that edge, you are in the deep sea where you can die of fatigue. If you have to hunt for the box with the pendant half, I recommend staying on the continental shelf--and a water breathing potion wouldn't hurt.

Amusingly, the teleport-to-crossroads bug that everyone is complaining about can be used to greatly reduce the time needed to complete this quest, to get a quick shortcut to the second half of the pendant. Just take off any breakable armor, go ahead and get the first part, and drown yourself (make sure you're classified as in the Great Sea), and spirit res at the crossroads, head up north to get the second half, and you're done!

WOW, i've done this quest for a horde druid and a ally druid now. The ally's have one hell of a walk O.o

Alternately if it's easier for you for some reason you can nab the opposite factions pendants. Helped my buddy do this quest awhile ago. He was a horde and we went to both the ally chests. (didn't realize at the time that he had them confused).

In hopes of preventing people from experiencing the amout of frustration i did while doing these quests I decided to post the locations of the pendents.

1. Darkshore. Go to where the river to the north (i don't remember its exact name...cliff something) empties into the ocean. From that point swim north, almost to the uncharted waters. Be careful as there are lvl 17-19 threshers out there. Keep swimming north until you see a rock formation that looks kinda like a "v" with the bottom point below water. It should also be the place where the threshers are congregated the most. If you are in between the v and shore the chest you need is on the ocean floor on the other side of the v (the bottom part of the rock obscures this at first). You'll have to kill at least a few threshers to get it.

2. Westfall. The second one is a looooong way away in Westfall (if you don't know how to get to westfall: take the boat in darkshore to methril harbour...go east through the wetlands and veer to the right whenever the road splits. Keep going and going and going until finally you get to a series of tunnels in the south of the wetlands. Then go all the way through to Dun Morah and then to Iron Forge (this trip is freaking long). Take the Deep Run Tram to Stormwind and from storm wind go southwest until you get to westfall). Once you get to Westfall go west until you get to some kind of quarry (I don't remember its name). After you get to the quarry go out to sea (watching out for the murlocs). You'll know your in the right place when underwater you see an anchor right on the edge of what seems like a bottomless cliff. When you see the anchor swim down...don't worry when you get low on breath there is a place underwater you can get more breath. The box is next to that place. I just teleported back to moonglade after i got the pendent.

To get to Westfall from Darnassus for those of us who are uber lazy:
1) Put yourself in lfg for Deadmines and see if anyone is willing to invite to summon you out.
2) Ask people for port to Stormwind or Shatt. If you get a port to Shatt, set your hearth there.
3) "Ghetto port" if you have a mage (requires fast computer). Invite a friend to group with your mage and tell them to be ready with an invite for your druid, open a portal to Stormwind or Shatt, alt+f4 to exit WoW (this will list your mage as offline while keeping the port available), open WoW up again and log in as your druid, get your group invite and take the port.

obsolice has the best horde comment on this quest. the one in the barrons is hard to find because of all the junk in the water but its right nevt to the wall thats next to an airvent (which didnt give the airbubbles its suposed to to keep me alive) the one ouside silverpine in the ocean was dead on 29, 29

Are we sure this is 100% accurate? According to this statement and the maps, this places the 2nd half of the pendant for the Horde on the opposite island as we have no Western Coast for the Great Sea. Veiled Sea yes, but that means the horde peice would be off of Darkshore, not Silverpine.

Are we to take a ship across? I would have thought both pieces be on the same island....

for those of you without cartographer trying to find the second alliance piece, the anchor is directly west of Saldean's farm, at the edge of the plateau, and from there, just dive over the plateau and find the bubbles.

I'm wondering just how we are supposed to find this out in-game? "Talk to the locals for clues" - well, I talked to every single person in Moonglade and not a single one of them gave me a clue. Not even the windrider master - all he said was "You don't know any flight destinations connected to this one". After a couple frustrating hours of fruitless searching I gave up and "cheated" by looking up the quest on the boards. So the two halves are in completely different zones, one on the other continent ... and both very well hidden, so you're not likely to stumble across them by accident. So just how is a lvl 14 druid supposed to complete this if they don't know about the existence of wowhead or similar boards??????

are there any known bugs with the HORDE version of this quest? I'm sitting in the only body of water in the sludge fen swimming around for the past 30 minutes looking for this darn thing (even killed Sludge Beast) and I don't see any sparkles, no box, nothin'.

The two residents of Moonglade that give clues to the whereabouts of the pendants are the druid flight masters. (44,45) Here are the actual clues.

Bunthen Plainswind, Thunder Bluff Flight Master, provides the clue for the Half Pendant of Aquatic Endurance.

"In the Silverpine Forest along the edges of the North Tide's Run, a derelict boat rests on the shore. Out to the west of this lies what you seek; swim too far and the ocean will crush you from fatigue. It resides on the ocean floor in a lockbox, waiting for you to claim it.

You'll be hard pressed to survive a dive to such depths without aid, so take heart; a bubbly fissure offers renewed breath to divers seeking this half of the pendant. Use it wisely."

Silva Fil'naveth, Darnassus Flight Master, provides the clue for the Half Pendant of Aquatic Agility.

There is a 19 elite sludge nearby that you can keep from aggro'ing. If you do pull aggro, he is slow so it is very easy to run away from him back through the area you just cleared to get to the pool

Best way to do this is as follows:

- Go to Undercity
- Get to the noted coords in Silverpine (29,29,bottom)
- Here's the GREAT TIP, don't get out of there, let your character die drowned and release spirit...
- Bam! You've appeared at Crossroads' spirit healer, do sickness resurrect (this works as of 2.4.3)
- Then go to 56,8 and get the second part
- Teleport to Moonglade and complete at the Shrine of Remulos

Make sure you speak to the respective flight NPC in Moonglade before heading off to loot the peices. If you don't do this you wont be able to loot the parts.

Royally painfull waste of time if you miss this out.

The one of the coast of Silverpine incase you don't use coordinates is a straight line west from the wrecked ship. Open your map and look for what appears to be a little tab coming off the coast line. That tiny tab is the wrecked ship.

The item you need is just outside where you see all the thin brown lines used to mark shallower waters.

I don't know why, but I was able to get aquatic form without finishing this quest. At lvl 16 I went to the Druid trainer in TB and before accepting the quest I requested training. Among the available new skills to purchase was aquatic form. I've included a screenshot of myself in aquatic form with the unfinished quest in my log.

While you're in Silverpine, do this quest north of the Sepulcher. The reward, Recipe: Discolored Healing Potion, is not available to Alliance, and will sell nicely on the neutral AH.

I am now level 16 Druid but only playing for a few days... I already have the Aqua form...
Do I have to make this quest?
If so I have a few questions:

I gave it a try but I didn't see the items marked on the map as with normal quest. Did I miss something?
For Aquatic Endurance: How do I get from Silverpine to the Sea? I cannot climb the mountain :( Do I have to make it all the way through to by-pass it?
For Aquatic Agility: I didn't dare to go there alone though I have another Quest nearby...

You do not have to do this quest, but you can if you like.

The items aren't marked on the map because you aren't turning the quest in to the items. They're just objectives; the only time you see the item marked with the yellow question mark is when you actually complete the quest (or at least the current step) at the item itself. In this case, the items should sparkle, but won't be marked on the map at all.

This quest is always yellow, it scales with whatever you're at, so if you're looking for an easy quest to get through that level you hate, take it and do it.

it took me forever to find the lockbox in Silverpine forest...but once i found it i kicked myself, due to the fact that many sites (including this one) did not have coords to it. the coords that i got were 29.4:29.5

With faction change now available, the first quest I received when becoming a tauren were these. I did all the feral form / aquatic form etc. quests back on my alliance character, but now i can do the horde ones too. They award nice xp, and it is a great transfer process to familiarize with my new tauren :).

The belt you get as an eventual reward is pretty damn good too: http://www.wowhead.com/?item=16608 - ~3% hit AND crit and a 5 minute cooldown instant heal better than any of your own spells at that level.

~~You have to do the quest for the aquatic form, which is a pain~~. As of patch 3.3.2, you can train for your aquatic form at lvl 16 without doing the quest. Not only can you prevent drowning, but you can also save time by diving 50% faster. (If you want to do the quest for the exp, be sure to get aquatic form first.)

Those who are past the use of quest reward belt and want to level fast:

Leave this quest to be completed @ lvl 56 or 57, you will get more xp as the quest level will be the same as yours!
Preferrable you choose to turn this quest in before turning 58, since by then you can get to outlands.

(8100 xp @ lvl 58 for very easy quest)

Edit: I didn't notice this quest wasn't the last one of them, the last quest which rewards you the belt gives 10800 xp @ lvl 58!
Making it alltogether 18900 xp @ 58! (Out of the levels whole 160k xp)

Oddly I'm having problems putting the two pieces together. I'm standing in the area referred to in the quest (Shrine of Remulos) but when I click on the pendant, it says "Shrine of Remulos required."

My only guess is that since they just give you the form and the quest isn't required, the glitch hasn't been reported before. But I'm from old school WoW (vanilla WoW, pre-BC) and have done this for every druid I've ever made. It's extra Experience and reputation. If anyone has a suggestion, I'd like to hear it.

i remember doing this quest when my druid was on alliance.. i recently refactioned it and moved it realm and low and behold i can do this quest again for some nice xp also ( 5640 xp at lvl 48 also i have heirlooms on too ) so yea if u refaction u can do the druid quests again too ( i knew it reset some quests i didnt think it reset class quests tho )
