Jugkar is a level 40 warlock. He is not elite, though he does tend to stand near a felhound that will aggro on you if you attack him. He's not all that hard.

The other guy you have to kill is a level 40 elite. He's not too hard. My shaman killed him at 42, my warrior killed him at 38 (with help from a healing potion). He roams the hills to the east of the ruins at Mannoroc Coven. If you stand in a spot where you can see Jugkar, you are likely to see Lord Azrethoc very shortly.

I found Jugkar at 55, 76. After killing him, I saw Lord Azrethoc. Not sure if you have to kill one before the other spawns, but it seemed like it to me since I'm pretty sure I didn't see Lord Azrethoc before killing Jugkar.

You don't have to kill one to get the other to spawn. They can both be up at the same time. Both roam a small amount so you can pull both solo.

These two guys can be taken by a Hunter and Warlock, both level 35. The Warlock chain fears while the Hunter and both pets dps. I died (Hunter) but was back in time to finish.

Solo'd Lord Azrethoc, 41 Tauren Shaman. I setup Mana Totem, Stoneskin, Searing Totem and just start bombing on him (I'm DW BTW) heal yourself, but make sure you don't heal thru the MS (it's a waste) If hes giving you trouble Frostshock / Earthbind totem kite and heal up. He should be easy enough to solo @ 40+ BTW I also had that curse that added 15% magical and phyiscal damage taken. So without it you should be able to do it NPS

soloed it with my 37 rogue.... he's not immune to poisons and stuns, so just keep it stunlocked as long as you can, blind+bandage if needed, evasion if things go rough, the usual stuff. Had to use a healing pot, and was alchemy-buffed (15 agi, 250 armor, 120 health - hey they're there to be used, aren't they?). All in all not particularly difficult, just be careful to pull in a clear area :)

Soloed him at 39 with my hunter, markmanship. Sent my pet in first got a crit with my aimed shot. When i got him down to 1/4 health my pet had died. i just scattershot the demon and then froze trap him moved back and aimed shot him, he had almost no health left.

Soloed him with a level 40 paladin -- protection, but it should work about the same for any spec. Hit him with Judgement of Light and keep Seal of Light up as you beat him down, pop Holy Shield if you have it, he should lose health faster than you do. And if he doesn't, well, that's what Divine Shield is for.

Soloed them easily as a lvl 38 BM Hunter. Not even a challenge imo, Azrethoc is quite weak for an elite though.

Jugkar corpse dissapeared for me when i killed them both at the same time with a level 63 warlock :( , at least this quest is slain-only :)

Lord Azrethoc wanders around the area near Jugkar place. He has his own walk-path. Look out. Although Jugkar is simple level 40 humanoid, Lord is hard elite creature.

Just solo'd as a 38 destruction lock. Used my DOT's and fear a lot. Ended pulling a lot of the fel hunter in the area but I was about to get my VW to pull them. Took all my life and mana but I killed him!

It wasn't easy, but I actually managed to solo this as a level 36 lock, and I'm not even affliction spec! Just try to pull him to a place where there aren't any mobs and start to fear and DoT him. Ran out of mana at the end, but sacrificed the voidwalker and killed him. Only time I lost health was when he resisted my fear.

For all warlocks doing this quest, keep in mind that Lord Azrethoc is enslavable. Yup, if you are at least lvl 38 you can enslave a level 40 elite and wreck havoc on the rest of the demons around.
I took him to 15% then tried enslave just for fun. When i released him though he went back to 60% almost instantly.
Still he's an easy solo for an afliction lock, fear dot dot etc

solo'd this as a 39 priest, it wasn't easy, I had to fear Lord Azrethoc 3 times, bandaged my self once, and used a mana potion (300-400 mana) but the the other, Jugkar Grim'rod was much much easier for me, where my health never went down. Found both around 55,77 as well

I was able to solo this as a 36 hunter. Jugkar was cake, but i died a couple of time getting Azrethoc. My only problem was getting him alone somewhere that I wasn't agroing other mobs nearby. Once of found a good spot I kept healing my pet, droped a couple of high damage traps, and feigned death anytime my threat got to high and he came after me. After that wasn't to hard to beat.

Got em both nice and easy, allthough Jugkar was the one hard to find - Azrethoc is a big demon and you can see him or track him (Demon)- but Jugkar is a small orc (Humanoid). I was able to take them both with a lvl 38 hunter and pet lvl 37.

i soloed both the dudes as a lvl 38 hunter (got the quest late). it was a pice of cake my pet took all aggro with growl and i just put down explosive trap and spamed arcane shot, multi shot and serpent sting. i found the quest rather triesome it was pathetic for a hunter no rewards amlost made me cry :(_-_-_- but other wise the xp and rep is great the only advice i have is heal your pet constantly and ull definetly run out of mana so make sure u have a mana potion around use aspect of hawk and hunter mark HAVE FUN

Solo'd on a 39 Mage. Full Arcane spec, 45 Frost, 68 Fire, 54 Arcane Bonus Damage, with ~1000 Health and 3200 Mana. Had to use a Superior Mana Potion and a Mana Jade, narrowly finished him off with very few health left.

Just make good use of any CC and stalling you can. I had Mage Armor on and used Cone of Cold, Blink, Frost Nova, and kited with Fire Blast whenever available, using Presence of Mind + Fireball and Arcane Missiles between.

Level 39 (pre)OOMkin, was able to solo both of these. Yes, be careful of the Demon Lord as mentioned earlier but if you root him, dot him, starfire him, repeat and have a big enough mana pool he will go down. I had to nature's grasp, self bandage and tauren stomp in order to stay
alive but i got him 1,000 xp rested.

Really easy as a 38 shadow priest.

Just SW:P, devouring plague(if you're UD), VE, and strafed back, flayed till he got to me, mindblast, fear, wanded. Basically just repeated.

Didn't need to pot or anything, flash healed once...finished fight with 40% health 30% mana

Soloed both as a 43 mage. Only used Frost Nova once. Straight up fire damage with a couple of arcane missiles and explosions thrown in to rattle the desk. Easy fight with no tricks. No pots, no Evocation, nothing. Ended up with 53% health and 51% mana.

Solo'd this one as a 36 hunter & 36 pet. I was really lucky I guess.. The lord left me 9/10 dead (A) I only took 1 mana & 1 healing potion. Luck, luck, luck!

Very straight forward as a 38 hunter with a 37 pet. The non elite took no time, and the elite went down without an issue. Sent in pet, cast mend pet then opened up while refreshing the mend pet and keeping an eye on the threat meter.

No pots necessary.

For warlocks:
To beat azrethoc you just chain fear him and have dots up all the time and he's yours
To beat Jugkar you can enslave his pet, and kill him easily that way.

Two good places to do Lord Azrethoc:

1. When he pauses his pat on the small hill by the pool southeast of Jugkar (57.3,79.6). Almost no adds here, except the Deep Strider Giant which passes by every 30m or so. Good spot for melee classes that do him in one spot, without kiting or Fearing.

2. When he pats closest to the main road, giving hunters and other kiters the ability to kite hin down the road, or giving locks and priests room to Fear him.

Solo'd with my 40 frost mage, didn't use any pots, mana agate or any spell armor's, fight was pretty easy, just used frost bolts, 2 frost nova's and cone of cold to slow him a bit more, i ended up with maybe around 10% man and full hp when i was done.

Guess Im the first rogue to comment...lvl 39. For Azerethoc wait till he is on the rocks alone, cheap shot, backstab, ghostly strike, evasion, sinister strike, puncture. used a mana pot at this point. then ghostly strike, sinister strike, eviscerate until he dies. had poisons also. a little tricky, got down to around 150 hp but lived :) The lock is no problem just the usual....if ur a little to close to the "hound" (was a mage hunter demon when I was there) for your comfort I recommend blind then attack :) GL

Solo'd as a 39 firespec mage. For the demon lord: First have a Mana Potion, a Mana Jade and a Healing Potion ready. Pyroblast first then scorch him x5. After that fireball him until your health is 40/50%. Frost nova and blink away. Healing potion and Mana Jade. Freezebolt him and then spam him with fireballs. By the time Frost Nova is ready, use it again, Blink away and use evocation. If you need to you can use Mana Shield, but you can fireball him to death by now. He's not that hard.

for Jugkar Grim'rod just wait till theres noone around him but the felhound, enslave or banish it, kill the guy (easy), kill the felhound.

for Lord Azrethoc - wait till he approaches a small lake to the south - it is free from mobs and attack with a voidwalker and all spells u have. should he attack you or should void's health become critical - banish him. why fear? IMO banish is better, u have 20 seconds 2 heal both yourself and the void.

so attack-banish-heal-atack etc. took 3 of these rounds for me

This quest is very soloable at 40+ as a Warlock. As a freshly dinged Affliction lock (I didn't even buy the lvl 40 skills yet) I was able to down Jukgar without breaking a sweat (I doubt he got my HP below 90%) without pulling a Mana-Eater either.

Azrethoc was easy as well, just catch him as he pats away from the other demons there and pull him to a safe area. I kept an Imp out on Passive for the Stam boost and to Dark Pact myself. If you just drain tank him his health goes by very fast and he is done without popping a Pot or a CD.

There is a hill where nothing spawns that is a good lookout point within both Jukgar and Azrethoc's patrol paths where you can pull both without aggro from anything else.

the lvl 40 elite can be found at the east of manarroc coven- down hill

the best way is to wait for the lvl 40 elite demon to patrol away from the lvl 40 warlock , then aggro lock and run to a reasonable distance whr u wont aggro felhound.... then strike the demon when he is patrolling out alone..

solo'ed on a level 38 blood elf hunter. just sent in pet and opened fire and when he switched agro i had to drink a potion but i just kept doing fire traps then wing clip and then run away and get a few shots in with my bow

for the paladins he is fear able and therefore a peice of cake just fear him when ever you need to heal
and use flash of light also dont foget to use exorcism as soon as possible and as often as possible

solo'd as a 38 fire mage, used lifeblood and a health pot, used pyroblast to start, fireball spam and used up all the instant cast spells. Wasn't overly difficult.

Soloed it at lvl 37 as elemental shaman just put down mana + searing + strength totem and spam urself with lightning shield and time your heals he does mortalstrike with 6 secs debuff think...

Just solo'd him as a 41 enhancement shammy. He does do a mortal strike, so for you people with heals out there, be careful.

The way I downed him was set my totems up, pulled with flame shock, as soon as he got where i wanted him, I dropped my Magma Totem and just auto attacked for the most part, after a few hits I used Lifeblood which he then used his mortal strike on me, then I hit him with a stormstrike and he was pretty much done for.

Think I got lucky though, cause windfury proc'd just about every other hit. Using the Mallet of ZF in my main hand and Biting Axe in offhand.

3.2.2 Edit: Reading my posts over, and noticed a typo, fixed it.

I managed to solo Lord Azrethoc as a lvl 36 survival hunter with a moth pet (from bloodmyst isle :P)
Heres how it went:
I used hunters mark first up and put down a immolate trap
i pulled with concussive shot then sent in my moth
then was just stings and stuff
my pet lost aggro so i feigned death (didnt resist) and i used moth ability serenity dust (which is awesome) and mend pet. got my pet back up to full health =D
then just back to arrows
my pet lost aggro again
so i fought him with my swords
at about 50% (of my health) my traps were rdy so down went a frost trap (the slowing one) and entrapment rooted him for 2 secs
wen he got 2 me i feigned again (didnt resist again)
got back up and few more shots and he was down =D

GL to all u other survival hunters :P

Solo'd as 36 afflic lock. As someone earlier stated if you find Jugkar first, Lord Azrethoc should be close by., which was the case with me. Jugkar was cake. Lord Azerthoc was a little harder, had to use a pot and a healthstone.

Soloed Lord Azrethoc as a 39 Elemental shaman. Used Stroneskin, Healing, Searing and Windfury totems with water shield.

Never went below 50% health. I did use Lifeblood (alchemy).

The other guy (Jugkar Grim'rod) is a normal mob and presented no more of a problem then any of the other mobs in the area.

Solo'd as a level 37 balance druid.

Standard stuff for the elite = Starfire -> Moonfire -> Roots , rinse and repeat, keeping starfire up and using Starfire just as roots is running out.

I had to use Nature's grasp on the elite, heal up and use a health potion.

For the mage, just spam Starfire whilst keeping moonfire up, might have to heal atleast once.

Oh and be careful not to aggro other things, better to wait a min or two till their alone than get butt*!@#ed by aload of enemies - go OTT and clear the area if you want.

Solo'd as a 35 feral druid, wasn't even hard. I guess that just tells you how easy things have gotten with the crazy buffs in 4.0.1.

Just threw some HoTs on before starting, only had to pop out of Cat Form once to refresh the HoTs. Other than that, pretty standard cat dps rotation for level 35.
