The Gorlocs you need to kill are just Northeast of Kartak's Hold.

Also, despite the quest instructions, you can kill the Gorlocs the old fashioned way without traps and still get kill credit.

Here is what you do to complete this quest.

After picking the quest up. head over to Kartak's Hold, on the South east side of the zone, and pickup the Traps. The box is in between two cages on the western rise of the southern "house" shown on the world map. (24.0, 83.1)

How I used the traps:
Step 1: Pull 5 to 6 mobs into a small area.
Step 2: Use Volatile Trap to damage and knock back.
Step 3: Use Spike Bomb immediatly after the Volatile Trap goes off to finish the gorlocs (They would blow up and die before they would start heading back to me from the first bomb)
Step 4: Use the highest rank food I had on me.

If you cannot figure out the traps, just kill them by everyday means. Kill 50 and go back to Kartak's Hold for completion.

This quest seems a tad more irritating than the other rotating Frenzyheart dailies I've done so far, but fortunately, the gurlocs occasionally drop food, so be sure to loot them.

Using a hunter trap puts the 3 special traps (volatile etc.) on a 30 sec cooldown.

The number of hunter unfriendly mechanics in wrath boggles me (ahem, jumping from dragon to dragon meleeing).

Be warned!

You can't have more than one trap up at the same time.

So it's better to either plant a rooting trap and pull a lot over it, (or pull a lot and then plant it, then back off), than stand in one place trying to chain the 2 damaging traps, because since they're not always, one can cancel the other.

I had a bug where another player and I tried to grab the traps at the same time. He ended up with only the volatile trap, I got the other two, and neither of us could loot the chest again. Destroying the traps allowed us to grab them all; we took turns that time. No need to abandon the quest.

Contrary to what Wowhead says, this quest is available for Horde.

When/how does this quest show up? Vekgar has NO QUESTS available to me. I'm honored with Frenzyheart. Do I need to be Exalted?

Is this quest Alliance only? It is tagged as such here on WoWhead, and I wonder aloud because it is the last one my Orc needs to complete the Honorary Frenzyheart Achievement. I recognize that Wowhead may have listed it incorrectly, but I'm worried that it isn't a coincidence, and as of now it may be bugged that Horde can't complete this quest.

*EDIT* I finally got this quest today on my Orc, and completed the achievement. So yes, WoWhead does have the quest incorrectly tagged on this page as Alliance only!

Warning: As a hunter, using your own traps causes a 30-seconds cooldown on all quest traps!

If you can do ranged AoE damage forget about using all three traps. Use the Ensnaring trap to root all the mobs and then use your AoE to bring them down. It's a lot faster and you dont risk your health.

If you're doing this quest, do yourself a favor and don't waste the time to get the traps. It's much faster to just kill the Gorlocs by yourself, they have like 5-6k HP.

Does anybody recognize that the place where Frenzyheart/Oracles fight is similar to DotA? U have 2 bases that are in constant war. Every base attacks the opposite faction with 3 mobs in different direction. Every base has an elite (Ancient) to whom u turn the quest in.

Sholazar Basin Daily Quests
You will get daily quests from faction you are in friends with.
Each quest giver will give 1 random quest from their set every day.
狂心氏族的勇士 and 神谕者之手 are needed to start or switch factions in Sholazar.

I just finished lvling the rep to exalted and this daily has not come up once. Anyone else having issues with it?

I found the easiest way was to stand at 37.43,79.06 & the mobs would run past from 2 different directions (instead of running around trying to get them). Then as a lvl 82 Warlock with my Felguard out, I just spammed 火焰之雨 until I had 50 kills.

This is one that I have done dozens of times. I have never used the traps simply because I have never ben able to find them.

Can do the quest w/o the traps, but once you picked up the traps don't throw them away (destroy them) as it will abandon the quest...

Traps basket found at 24.0, 83.1 which is opposite the Altar needed for another Frenzyheart Tribe Daily (look for the big Horns!).

Go to the pond, around 32.1, 75.0 and blast a 战斗号角, you'll be in rage of 15-20 of em easily.
