Protection Warrior is the best tank when there comes to mitigating blockable physical damage. Because of how block works, warriors will require the least amount of healing in high damage situations where the damage you're taking is blockable. Warriors really shine in dungeons with low magic or DoT damage, allowing you to stand your ground whenever block is up. Warriors also do very significant damage in AoE situations.

Protection Warrior Strengths and Weaknesses
Strengths
Prot Warrior is the best tank at mitigating “blockable” damage. Blockable damage is usually melee hits and powerful physical damage abilities/casts from bosses such as

. Melee hits make up the most of any damage you take in all dungeons, which makes Prot Warriors the best in terms of pure mitigation and surviving high physical damage intake. What makes warriors so powerful against melee hits is their mitigation

. This makes you block every single melee hit and depending on your

these can also be “critical blocks”, blocking twice the amount (up to 85%).
With the combination of

. you also do an insane amount of AoE damage when your

is up. It’s very common that warriors do the most trash dps overall in certain dungeons, and their damage done is very significant for speeding up the dungeon.
Weaknesses
Warriors weakness lies in magic damage and DoTs. While we do have

, they don’t help you a lot when you’re consistently taking magic damage like

. While Alpha Cannon is reflectable, you can only reflect every 25 seconds leaving you very vulnerable with pretty much no way to mitigate the incoming damage, where as a Blood Death Knight could just Death Strike because they don’t care what source the damage intake is.
Same thing goes for bleeds like

, a tanks worst nightmare, if you don't have

ready while taking one of these debuffs you will most likely end up on the floor.
Compared to every other tank except for druids, warriors don't really bring any "useful" utility. It's very niche stuff that we will talk about later, but because other tanks bring more or more impactful utility this is why I consider this one of our weaknesses rather than a strength.
Best Races for Mythic+
Racials don’t really make a huge difference for the most part, but in some dungeons, certain racials can definitely make a huge difference to handling trash.
Horde
血精灵
: Probably the most common race for High M+ content. Their
奥术洪流
allows you to Purge 1 magic effect from every enemy within 8 yards. This racial is very strong if you want to kill all the

mobs (Make sure you use

so you don’t get feared) in King’s Rest or purge all the

: You don’t see a lot of these, but their

racial is pretty powerful since it knocks down every mob in front of you for 1.5 seconds, this counts as a stun and can be used to stop casts that are not interruptible. Very useful in a situation where you do a big pull in the start of “Tol Dagor” and want to stop the

Since it technically doesn’t count as a stun this is not affected by diminishing return, so even though a mob has been stunned 3 times you can still use this at its full value.

is one of the most broken abilities for dungeons if every player in your group has this. It pretty much allows you to skip any trash you want even if it can see stealth. For example, in
The Underrot
they recently changed to trash to now see stealth, essentially rendering

useless. However, if everyone is a Night Elf you can just run past all the trash use

at the same time and the trash will run away.

is probably the best racial in the game for tanks due to the 10% damage reduction it gives, however it doesn’t make it broken, the really cool part of this racial is the fact that it removes all poison, disease, curse, magic and bleed effects from you, while most of these can be dispelled, bleeds can only be immuned through

OR from

. This racial can completely trivialize the Spectral Berserker in King’s Rest and it can reduce a lot of healing required during

weeks since it removes all stacks of it.
It also removes

, while this doesn’t sound that insane because of how fast necrotic stacks it’s actually quite significant on Warriors.
Because warriors don’t really do any healing, but instead just mitigate insane amounts of damage, it is possible in certain situations to be able to stay in a pack until you reach the cap of “99” stacks of necrotic. Necrotic doesn’t really tick for a lot of damage, the scary part is the healing reduction debuff you get. Now let’s say no tanks in the game could do any healing whatsoever, this means warriors would live the longest by far. So the idea here is to tank the pack until you drop really low on health, pop Stoneform to clear your Necrotic stacks and then cry for heals. Just Make sure to communicate with your healer what it is you’re trying to do because I think most healers would get very stressed out if they see someone with 99 stacks of Necrotic.

: Very similar to Dwarves, their racial

pretty much works the same way as

but instead of giving 10% physical damage reduction, it gives you 600 Strength + 200 per debuff you cleared with it. In my opinion, Stoneform is safer, but Fireblood can be very strong when combined with an “On-use” trinket and

, especially if you can clear a lot of debuffs, for example if you pull a lot of

Temple of Sethraliss
, because you can carry several of their
毒性喷吐
debuffs, so if you could clear 3 of these along with Necrotic or Grievous, this would give you 1400 Strength for 8 seconds.

is very powerful on Warriors because it’s just straight up healing. Any source of healing is more powerful on Warriors compared to other tanks because we do 0 healing apart from

procs. 3 minutes is a very long cooldown, but the healing this racial gives is a very powerful on-demand heal, and should ideally be combined with

since it heals a percentage of your health.
Protection Warrior Utility
Warrior is one of the tanks with the least amount of utility, the only tank being worse is Guardian Druid. However they do bring some utility that you should definitely be aware of and use all the time.

: A 40 second cooldown frontal AoE Stun. The duration is 2 seconds, so if you play with a monk or warlock try and make sure

is used before you shockwave to make more use of the Diminishing Return.
风暴之锤
: A 30 second cooldown single-target stun. It lasts for 4 seconds and should be used to stop important casts that are not interruptible or use it to interrupt a normal cast if your group is out of interrupts.
破胆怒吼
: A 1 minute 30 second cooldown “AoE” fear. It affects your target and up to 5 additional nearby enemies to get feared for 8 seconds. This should be used as a “Stop” on important casts that cannot be interrupted if a mob is immune to stun due to “Diminishing Return” or if your group has no stuns ready.

: Gives everyone in the group/raid temporary and maximum 15% more health. In 5 man content this is usually used for yourself as a cooldown rather than a raid cooldown, but it can be very powerful a boss like

: This talent gives every ally you intervene a 6 second buff where 30 % of the damage they take is redirected to you instead. Very powerful on

. This debuff can kill people in 2 ticks without any mitigation.

: While this is more a defensive/offensive ability you should treat it as an “interrupt” in a some cases. Say you’re doing Shrine of the Storm and you are fighting

while waiting for interrupts to recharge if you know you will be fighting these for a while.

: Just a normal melee range interrupt, not that crazy, but don’t be the guy that never interrupts, every melee/tank has one available.
Talents

is the best talent for all dungeons here because the amount of haste you get is very significant, however,

can be played if you’re running some cheesy 4 dps 1 tank comp as you will for sure need the healing.

is the best choice here due to increased

range. This allows you to Thunder Clap earlier while mobs group up, resulting in more overall dps and allows you to pick up aggro on everything way faster.

is also really good, but only play this if you really need it, it doesn’t change much number-wise, but it’s really nice to prevent someone from dying, giving the healer more time to react to certain debuffs or one shot abilities.
无坚不摧之力
should always be picked, there is no situation where any other talent is worth picking. Make sure you use
雷霆一击
Every second global with this talent selected during
天神下凡
, as the damage you will do during this window is very significant.
激励
is the best talent here and should always be picked, the other 2 talents are almost never going to be worth picking except for niche situations. Make sure you don’t overlap
盾牌格挡
and
破釜沉舟
with this talent selected since Bolster makes Last Stand block everything while it is up anyway. ideally you Shield Block 3 times, then pop Last Stand, then “Shield Block” 3 times again after for a total of 51 seconds of block. You can achieve this with 19% base haste without any downtime between your block.
风暴之锤
will be the best choice here unless your group has no other AoE stuns apart from you. The single target stun is very powerful and should be used just to stop a mob from attacking you if there is nothing to interrupt.
滚石
can be played if you need more AoE Crowd Control, but a 40 second cooldown on your AoE stun is already very low so getting another ability on this row is 99% of the time more valuable.
震耳嗓音
is the best talent every single time, this talent is important because it synergizes well with
愤怒掌控
,
挫志怒吼
gives 40 rage and also gets it cooldown reduced by spending rage due to Anger Management Ideally you wanna make sure you don’t overcap rage when you use this, but also make sure to avoid using Shield Block or Ignore Pain when Demoralizing Shout is less than 3-4 seconds of being ready.

is by far the best choice here, reducing the cooldown of your

by 1 second for every 10 rage spent.
This talent significantly reduces the cooldown of all of these abilities, but like mentioned in the previous talent row, keep in mind that using Ignore Pain will reduce all of these by 4 seconds, and Shield Block reduces them by 3 seconds, so if one of them is ready in 1 second you want to use them after you used your big cooldown.
Understanding K Value and Block
K Value
First you need to understand how “K Value” works and how it affects whatever content you do in this game that involves blocking.
With an item level 415 shield and no traits that affects my block value I get a total of 6340 block which reduces the damaging attack of an enemy by 50.16%, however by targeting a trash mob inside a dungeon it says “Against Current Target: 42.82%) This is because the “K Value” of any dungeon monster is higher than a normal mob you fight in the open world. Basically the higher content you do, the higher the “K Value” and the less your block does against their hits.
The formula here is (Block) ÷ (Block + K Value) = Block Reduction
Below are the K Values used in 8.1 and as you can see, regardless of key level, dungeon content is by far the lowest and requires the least amount of block to reach our softcap of 42.5% Block.
M0/M+: 8467.2
BfD/Shrine LFR: 8467.2
BfD/Shrine Normal: 9311.4
BfD/Shrine Heroic: 10275.3
BfD/Shrine Mythic: 11390.4
Since this guide is purely focused on Mythic+ content, I’m not really going to talk about optimizing gear for raiding in this guide, but for perspective the same amount of block (6340) / (6340+11390) = 0.36. So essentially, while my shield that gives 6340 Block reduces the amount by 42.8% in a dungeon, it only reduces the amount by 36% in mythic raids, making block traits very valuable while raiding, but pretty weak overall for dungeons.
Block
Now the second important thing you need to understand about blocking is that there is a softcap of 42.5% block reduction. The way crit blocking works is that you block for twice the amount instead of your normal block value up to a maximum of 85% damage reduction, because blocking 100% of something would be way too strong. And obviously 42.5 x 2 = 85.
This does not mean getting any block after your softcap is completely useless, it’s just less valuable because you don’t increase the amount you crit block by.
Your goal should definitely be to prioritize reaching 42.5% Block reduction over anything else, just make sure to do your own math to see how much reduction you get from your shield, also make sure to add the block from your traits in the calculation. For example if I had a 415 shield and 2 x 415 azerite pieces with

my total block would be (6340+529+529) / (6340+529+529+8467) = 0.47, which means you are more than 4% higher than your softcap.
Stat Priority and Gearing
Stats
I believe the current stat priority for warriors in Mythic+ is
Mastery=Haste>Versatility>Crit.
Generally, pieces with higher item level will still be better, but since there is no way to sim a tank this is very situational, and you kind of have to gear by feeling a lot of the time. For example I would rather go for a 410 ilvl High mastery low haste belt rather than a 415 belt with high crit and low vers. Rings and trinkets are very different because they dont always guarantee having strength or armor which means you can sacrifice a lot of ilvl here to pick a better piece.
Haste vs Mastery will be discussed later.
Gearing
When gearing a prot warrior it’s important to understand how much Haste you really need.
When going into just about any pack you wanna use
盾牌格挡
3 times, depending on your haste there might be a small gap of downtime without shield block between the 2nd and 3rd use, but this doesn’t really matter as you can just either stun the pack or step out for half a second until its ready. When the 3rd charge has finished you want to use
破釜沉舟
(With the
激励
talent selected), and after the 15 seconds of last stand you should be close to having 2 charges of shield block ready or if you have around 20% haste they will both be ready.
Now the thing is, even if you were to play with only 10% haste, the only thing this really changes is that you have to wait 3 seconds for your 3rd shield block charge AFTER last stand to be ready which really doesn’t matter in dungeons because stepping out of the pack for a short amount of time to recharge or making sure something like demo shout is covering that downtime it really puts haste way below mastery.
With 3x

you essentially have 51 seconds of block uptime that requires basically no haste at all to pull off.
During Tyrannical weeks Haste definitely gets more value, but it all comes down to fight length. You really just need experience to see how long bosses live with your current setup and how long trash packs live. Generally on trash since you can get 51 seconds of block without any haste, haste is pretty worthless on trash, but some dungeons have very scary bosses that you do need to be prepared for and having enough haste can be essential to you living or not in some fights.
On bosses it is by far way more important to have a higher uptime on your block rather than focusing on your block to be more powerful.
Good examples here would be
亚兹玛
in Atal’Dazar,
魂缚巨像
in Waycrest Manor and
达萨大王
in King’s Rest. These bosses can do a lot of damage to tanks and they all have “tank busters” which is a big hit on the tank and it is CRUCIAL that you have block up when these hit, on high tyrannical you are very likely to get 1-shot by these mechanics if you don’t have block up.
As a conclusion, I find it very rare that I need more haste in dungeons, and just playing smart with
盾墙
and
挫志怒吼
to cover downtimes of block, it allows me to get away with stacking mastery.
Trinkets
纹饰炼金石
: Very easy to craft, obtainable at 385/400/415 ilvl and requires “Breath of Bwonsamdi” to craft. Very powerful offensive trinket, the strength proc has a very good uptime and increases your damage by a lot.
莱赞的微光之眼
: Another good offensive trinket, static strength that procs haste, solid choice of you are low on haste because it lets you catch up on shield block charges.
镶钻折射棱镜
: Hands down the best trinket defensively for warriors, about 20% give or take of our overall healing throughout a dungeon. You always get the value from this trinket, and it basically just makes you a lot easier to heal.
杰斯的咆哮
: This trinket doesn’t really make you that powerful but you give out stats to allies. This is probably the best trinket in the entire game for tanks because you buff other peoples damage, and it’s fair to assume that DPS players in general benefit 2 times as much as you do from the versatility in terms of damage done on single target.
活性血瓶
: A mastery trinket with a very powerful Strength on use. Combine this with “Avatar” for very strong burst.
永冻之锚
: This trinket is very interesting because it procs on AoE from any of your abilities. “Thunder Clap” and “Revenge” applies this, which lets you stack this really fast on AoE, the slow does not stack with the slow from your thunder clap, but the damage this trinket deals is very significant.
If I had to pick 2 for the optimal safety I would probably go

Azerite
Outer Ring
All the good outer ring traits for Warriors provide both offensive and defensive value, compared to a Death Knight, these traits are very powerful and has a huge effect on how your class is played.
I also ranked them 1-7, 1 being the best and 7 being the worst.
Strong Traits
雷音贯耳
: This is our most powerful trait and it is very important you try and get one of these. What makes it so powerful is that you gain an extra 6 seconds to your
挫志怒吼
. This makes it last for up to 14 seconds instead of 8. The damage you gain from this trait is not huge, but it’s still nice.
Having more than 1 of these is not advised, and all you really gain is the extra damage on Thunder Clap.
千钧堡垒
: This trait basically turns your
天神下凡
into a 20 second long defensive cooldown. With 3 of these you gain an additional 1830 mastery assuming you have 3x 420 Azerite pieces. With the right gear you can reach up to 100% mastery during Avatar, essentially crit blocking every single melee hit for 20 seconds.
狡诈契约
: A very controversial trait for tanks due to taking increased damage below 15% Health, but considering how easy it is to reach the block soft cap in dungeons, we don’t really have a lot of other choices.
The damage that Warriors bring is very significant, therefore going for a more offensive itemization can save you more time at the end of the day. It is definitely a risky trait to play, but the offensive value this brings is actually quite significant and if you are a brave man I suggest you try this trait out. Strength also increases the size of your “Ignore Pain” and your Parry, but this isn't very noticeable. Keep in mind that Warriors are very easy to heal and take extremely little damage compared to other tanks, so the only time you really bounce below 50% health is during a really tough Tyrannical boss where the healer struggles to keep people alive, so in a situation where you are doing a really high tyrannical

in Temple of Sethraliss you would probably not wanna have this trait rather than have it at all, just because of the risk of ever falling low on health, and that boss is the one thing in that dungeon that can and will cost you the key.
Situational Traits
钢铁要塞
: This trait will be your best trait (apart from 1x Deafening Crash) if you are below the soft block cap or if you have really low Mastery, because in that case you don’t really care about crit blocking anyway. However if you already reached the soft block cap and have around 40% or more mastery I would avoid going for this as the benefit is very small.
The damage you gain from this trait is also very minor, and compared to other traits it does not even compare.
羁绊之魂
: This trait can be super strong if you play a DPS heavy comp where you're trying to rely more on yourself rather than a healer. It's hard to put a value on this trait because it can be very RNG, but the uptime overall should be pretty good and even for a healer this trait does a lot of healing.
You can also benefit from other people in the group using this trait and positioning close to you.
抵御冲击
: This trait pretty much does the same thing as Iron Fortress except it’s worse, due to multi-targets you don’t really use Shield Slam as often as you do on single target, but it follows the same rules as the other trait, if you don’t have the soft block cap, or you’re very low on Mastery, this is generally better than every other trait apart from 1x Deafening Crash” and Iron Fortress.
Bad Traits
血律
: With the amount of rage you gain in dungeons I feel like

is pretty much always up anyway, and this trait essentially just gives you more Ignore Pain overhealing, also the leech is very minor as you only get 40.
In my opinion this trait only has some sort of value on trash because you generally take more damage, where as any boss fight you rarely get the full benefit of a full
无视苦痛
unless you take extra damage from the
捍卫
talent.
Compared to our good traits this one is a lot worse which is why I consider it a bad trait, but if you don't want to go for offensive traits then this becomes your only choice after bastion and deafening assuming you get to pick and choose traits.
无情报复
: First of all, the damage you gain from this does not compare with Bastion, and the 1.5% damage reduction is nothing compared to the block you would get from “Iron Fortress” and “Brace for Impact” even after the block cap. The trait is just really bad, avoid it if you can.
Middle Ring
These traits don’t have a huge impact on your play, so in that case instead of listing dozens of useless traits I figured I would just mention the noteworthy ones.
鲜血虹吸
: A very basic trait that just gives you flat mastery and leech, in my opinion the best trait due to being reliable and 0 RNG.
生命之速
: Same thing as Blood Siphon but with Haste and Avoidance. Be judgemental, if you are super low on haste, you can pick this instead of Blood Siphon.
艾泽里特血脉
: This trait is very strong once it procs, due to the way warrior works, any source of healing is way more valuable on a warrior than a DK, you definitely feel it when this trait procs, however the uptime is very low, and at the end of the day its not something you want to rely on if you have better choices in this row.
元素回旋
: This trait is pretty boring, but the uptime is pretty good, and the stats are always nice, not much to argue here, the trait is okay.
压倒能量
: Gives a lot of haste once it procs, but you lose value rather quickly, make sure to pay attention to when this procs as it can allow you to get another

before you have to pop

Inner Ring
These traits are very similar to the middle ring in terms of how powerful they are so I will only list the noteworthy ones that you should know of.
冷漠面容
: This trait pretty much just heals you every 6 seconds and there is not much more to it, but the heal this gives is pretty strong and in my opinion is the best trait you can pick in this row, it is also worth stacking this if you can.
回声防护
: This trait is nice because you know you will always get value from it, absorbing damage is always better than healing damage, it doesn’t really do much in terms of preventing one shots on a tank, but the healing from this is significant, pick it if you don’t have “Impassive Visage” on this row.
宝石皮肤
: This trait just gives you more armor, but armor is always nice!
吸血鬼之速
: This trait is very useless 99% of the time, but I decided to list it because it’s pretty strong during explosive week, depending on your comp, prot warriors are pretty good at dealing with
爆弹
because you can usually one shot them with a
盾牌猛击
+ a melee hit and it will give you a
乘胜追击
proc AND it procs your trait. So if you happen to have a lot of spare gold and have the luxury of being able to reforge azerite traits, definitely pick this over anything else during explosive week.

Mastering Your Class
If you’ve played other tanks but not warrior this expansion, the first thing you need to understand is that you are an actual wall against physical attacks. It’s kind of like playing a monk, except you don’t take that ticking stagger damage.
Active Mitigation
Don’t waste your active mitigation! This is extremely important, especially when you are fighting bosses that you don’t press

twice in a row, on trash this is generally fine because you know you will constantly be taking several melee hits every second until you decide to kite, so in this scenario it’s very predictable and easy to learn. However, when you’re fighting let’s say
殓尸者姆沁巴
in King’s Rest, you don’t want to be using
盾牌格挡
right before he is about to cast
燃烧腐蚀
or
排干体液
, although be careful, because this boss can melee during his
埋葬
cast. This kinda stuff can only come from experience and even though this is more about understanding the dungeon/boss you’re fighting rather than your class, it’s very important to pay attention to this and learn the timers so that you can adapt.
The most common mistake I see a lot of prot warriors do is forgetting that
破釜沉舟
makes you block everything when

is talented. Try not to overlap
盾牌格挡
with
破釜沉舟
as you just end up wasting block uptime, this does not mean you should NEVER ever combine the two, if you find yourself in a situation where you are very low on health even with
盾牌格挡
active, then
破釜沉舟
should be used as a panic button to make sure you survive.
If you know you're going to run into downtime of your block in the near future, then hold some rage for
无视苦痛

One thing you need to understand is that

is stronger than any other “cooldown” (not counting Last Stand with bolster) you have available, blocking something reduces the damage way more than the 40% of your “Shield Wall” and it’s why you should treat this ability as a “gap-filler” rather than how Death Knights treat

. On longer fights you will definitely have downtime where you don’t have

ready and it’s important that when available you use Shield Wall during this downtime, try not to combine them unless absolutely needed, because if you do, you will just run short on

While this affects everyone in your group, it should mostly be used for yourself and not other people unless your healer says he specifically needs it somewhere in the dungeon or is falling behind. This cooldown is static at 3 minutes, and is not super powerful when it’s up, so it’s something you should be using when you’re about to drop really low.

, while this is very strong it should be used as a

gap-filler, you will most of the time be using this after using

This ability only has a 25 second cooldown, and should be used against any source of magic damage, and anything that is reflectable. There are a lot of weird mechanics that are actually reflectable that you should know about, but we will get into that later in this guide. Keep in mind it is possible to reflect more than 1 hit even though the tooltip says you can’t. If you stun multiple

they will re-cast it once the stun is over and cast at the exact same time, and if you have reflect up this will reflect every single bolt back to the enemy, so keep this in mind for a huge AoE reflect. This trick works on any enemy that has reflectable casts.

Addons/WeakAuras
Addons and Weak Auras are by no means necessary to play the game, but some of them can completely trivialize parts of the game. For example, if you are going to be the guy calling interrupts and CC in your dungeon, you are going to have a very bad time trying to keep track of 4 different 15 second cooldown interrupts in your head. Instead you could grab a “WeakAura” (

) that keeps track of this instead!
Now, there are way too many addons and WeakAuras out there for me to list them all, so instead I’ll mention the ones that significantly impacts dungeon content.
WeakAuras 2
: WeakAuras is an addon itself, but simply explained it’s an addon that lets you create addons. You will also need this to import existing WeakAuras that others have created (like the interrupt one). This guide isn’t really for teaching how to create WeakAuras, but it is heavily suggested you do some research so you can create your own to keep track of trinket procs and certain buffs/debuffs.
GottaGoFast
: This addon changes the layout of the dungeon timer on the right hand side of your screen. It is very customizable, but most importantly it allows you to track forces instead of % missing. It’s a lot easier to know what you need to kill when you are missing 15 count and you see a pack of 4 enemies that give 4 count each.
BigWigs
and
LittleWigs
: We’re mainly interested in “Littlewigs”, but this requires BigWigs to run so get that one as well. I’ve said before in this guide, knowing the dungeon is more important than knowing your class, and you need ability timers to know when you should hold your cooldowns and when you should use them. If you haven’t done King’s Rest a lot, then being able to see a countdown for

: This addon is very helpful for creating a pre-planned route when you are going into a dungeon. You can see exactly what you need to kill to reach 100% count and you can create a route exactly how you want to do it.

'd mob you guys tried to skip with a

. Skipping mobs is the most common and best way to improve your route, but I see this way too often, people don’t know that they are in combat with something. If your group is doing a skip, it is essential that everybody knows whether or not they are in combat as you do not want 10+ mobs to come running at you while fighting the next boss.
Explosives WeakAura
: This will change the look of Explosives nameplates, making them a lot easier to target, you can also add a style filter in the nameplate section if you are using ElvUI, but I will leave this up to preference.
Affix Tips
强韧
Dungeon pulls are generally limited to trash mechanics and not melee damage on the tank, a good example is
The Motherlode
. You are limited to your interrupts and stuns to deal with the trash. Tank Damage is never what’s stopping you in this dungeon, but how much the mobs cast, so it doesn’t really matter if its fortified or tyrannical, pulls are generally the same, just be prepared that trash will hit harder and live longer, so be prepared!
残暴
This affix doesn’t make a huge difference in terms of damage taken, but the fight length matters a lot more. Healers usually go oom on a lot of bosses, and as a warrior you might struggle if you have pretty low haste, because you run into issues where
盾牌格挡
is not ready and none of your cooldowns are ready.
Consider gearing for more haste if you think this might be an issue.
激励
Always focus the highest health mob unless you really need a specific mob to die fast because you lack interrupts. Don’t pop
and go ham with
雷霆一击
on the
剧毒细颚龙
packs in Atal’Dazar, the only thing you achieve is creating a huge
飨宴的啸天龙
that you need to kill off. It’s also important that you don’t chain pull mobs when they are low as you don’t wanna bolster something that is at max health.
崩裂
This affix recently got buffed and can be very deadly even reaching 6-7 stacks. Don’t pull too big with this affix, and try to make sure mobs die around the same time, the last thing you want to go from 5 to 6 stacks 0.1 seconds before the debuff was going to fall off. Unless you need to use

against a certain mechanic, use this ability to reduce the damage you take from bursting.
暴怒
If you have block up you can pretty much ignore this affix unless you are very low on health. Judge the situation, if you think it is impossible to tank the mobs with raging up then kite, but definitely experiment here, warriors are very tanky and compared to other tanks you should know your limits here.
If you have druids or Beast Mastery hunters in your group, they can purge this from the mobs.
血池
Warriors can’t do much here apart from proper movement to minimize the amount enemies heal from this affix. You should always be moving when mobs are low on health so that when something dies the remaining mobs are already walking out of it. Also, don’t be the guy that stuns a mob next to something that’s about to die.
繁盛
This affix doesn’t change stuff gameplay wise, but be prepared to spend a lot more time killing trash than usual. This affix just needs a lot of experience, you need to know what mobs are added during teeming weeks to see if you need to cc something or if you can just go with the normal route.
Teeming week in Atal’Dazar has a chance to spawn 2 extra mobs in the pack shown here. The most common strategy here is to pull the pack north of it, but this is hard during teeming week due to an additional
达萨莱战神
and
达萨莱神官
. Unless you are confident you can kill this pack extremely fast, it is suggested you CC one confessor, focus down the other one then pull the CC’d confessor with the remaining mobs.
易爆
As mentioned in the Addon section, the most difficult part about this affix is being able to target them unless you have a good filter to your nameplates.
Warriors are very good at dealing with explosives because
盾牌猛击
usually one-shots them, especially if you land a melee swing at the same time, and you gain
乘胜追击
from killing them. When fighting only 1 target, ask your group if you can solo them as in some cases you will need 0 healing to survive due to the amount of
乘胜追击
procs.
If you have the

trait available, then if you can afford it pick it during this week as it does proc when you kill an explosive.
重伤
There is not that much you can do to prevent damage from this affix as it is mostly up to the healer to carry this. although be communicative here. If your healer is falling behind let him know that you can use “Shield Wall” so he can top you off faster so he can heal others. Combine

and
治疗石
to top yourself off if needed.
When out of combat make sure to drop a
焦糖鱼宴
as this will regen 10% HP per second, this is by far the best item in the game to get rid of grievous when not in combat. Everyone in the group should be doing this.

The scary part of this affix is not the damage it deals, but the healing it prevents, the good thing about warrior is that even with a 100% healing reduction it still takes a while for us to die as long as we have block up. This affix is all about learning how long you can actually tank certain amount of mobs, although the right play here is to kite when you need to. Ask for slows, ask the priest to grip you,
震荡波
the pack before you run. If your group lacks the proper Crowd Control for this affix, make sure you hold your

and

so you can get a reset way easier.
震荡
Warriors don’t have any casts or channel abilities so this affix doesn’t do a lot. Since this does 20% health in damage it does more to tanks, so be prepared for this, but apart from that make sure not to stack on any allies.

Usually not a problem for warriors because we do so much damage anyway, although pulling something when
天神下凡
isn’t ready will most likely end up with aggro problems. Always make sure
天神下凡
is ready for any major pull.
火山
Volcanic will only spawn close to players that are distant from a mob in combat with you. This affix can be quite aids on
不羁畸变怪
in The Underrot because every single spore can spawn volcanic. The only advice for this affix is to just try and not get hit. If you get hit while tanking something you risk getting clapped really hard and dying instantly.
Reaping Advice
Warriors don’t bring a lot of tools to help with this affix. Generally you want to use your

on actual trash and not reaping as it’s not really that big of a threat. A lot of DPS players seem to be very afraid when they have aggro of this, but the only mob you really need to worry about picking up aggro on is the

as they can actually melee non-tanks for quite a lot. The

does very harmless damage with melee attacks, but applies

, this ability stacks, but if you happen to be running with a priest, it is actually better to let these mobs be on as many people as possible because “Mass Dispel” clear everything anyway.

on you. this spell also has a very long cast time, so use AoE stuns“ very early to sync their casts, this way you can interrupt all their casts very easily by chaining cc at the end of their casts. If your group lacks AoE CC, then interrupt and stun them at random intervals so the casts are de-synced, resulting in a lower chance of someone getting targeted by multiple bolts and getting one shot. Each bolt inflicts 25% of the players max HP, so getting hit by 4 of these at the same time will kill any player not using a damage reduction.
These mobs are undead and therefore immune to your

.
Dungeon Strategy and Walkthroughs
The first thing you wanna decide here is whether or not to use
嗜血
on
莱赞
or the first trash pack on the left side as you run down the stairs. Going for
莱赞
instantly ensures you get to pull the boss at a good time because he will always be in the same location. However, playing the 6 elite mobs on the left as you run down the stairs is very good count, but on fortified it is a lot safer to lust this pack because it can be very difficult to deal with. Use your own judgement here!
莱赞
Regardless of your haste, you will always be able to have
盾牌格挡
up when tanking him. His
锯齿
ability increases the damage you take by 50%, but as long as block is up you don’t have to be too afraid. His
追踪
will target random players unless 1 or more players stand far outside while the others stand in the middle of his hitbox. In this case he will target the player standing far away, ideally a range dps or a healer since they can still deal some damage while kiting the boss, while a melee loses 100% of their damage.
When pulling the boss you want to position him on either A or B, whatever is closest. Whoever gets the
追踪
should kite the boss to A or B, whichever one the boss is away from. Make sure to use
狂暴之怒
to immune his fear cast, you can use it every other cast.

: This mob casts a heal and a bubble that makes everything around it immune to CC. The

has priority if you don’t have enough interrupts, but ideally you assign 1 melee interrupt for each of these casts.

: This mob will cast

is also close to it and in combat. if not interrupted this ability will kill your entire party within a few seconds. Ideally you kick this before the first tick goes off to prevent any damage taken. He will also cast
野火
targeting random players in line of sight dealing fire damage and applying a dispellable dot. You don’t need to kick all of these, and you should only kick them if you have leftover interrupts. The Augur will also stop casting this once the target with aggro is right next to it and no Juggernauts are nearby. If the “Wildfire” targets you then use

for some small damage.
达萨莱战神
: This mob will charge a random target, dealing heavy AoE damage around itself when reaching his target. He prioritizes targeting people outside of melee, so the safe thing here is to always have someone bait this charge. You can use your stuns or fear during the cast of this ability or as he is traveling to negate the effect. If the player baiting is standing on a higher ground he will do the cast then just stop, dealing no damage and not moving at all. You should experiment with this before you adapt the strategy as some spots do not always work.
达萨莱荣誉卫士
: This mob casts
狂热打击
every now and then, as a warrior you can block this hit so you don’t really need to worry too much about this, but if you need to kite, let your dps know because if you’re not in range, they will still cast this ability on targets within 8 yards of it. Even if they start casting the strike and the player manages to run further than 8 yards away by the time the cast is finished it will still hit.

: This mob keeps casting

on random players, it can be reflected if cast on you, but aim to interrupt as many of these as you can while not missing any Hex Interrupts. Hex is way more important to interrupt unless someone in your group can de-curse.

: This mob has a chance to deal nature damage on some of its auto-attacks. Use

whenever ready unless a witch doctor is in the same pack. The

can be blocked so make sure block is up for this cast. The damage itself is physical, but the debuff you get increases nature damage taken and can not be reflected, but it can be parried/dodged, resulting in a stack not getting applied.
祖尔的持盾卫士
: This mob is very similar to the “Dazar’ai Honor Guard” as their
盾击
basically works the same way. This is also blockable, so as a warrior you don’t really have to worry about this, but if you do however need to kite, let the DPS know so they can adapt. Make sure to use hard CC against their
魂能壁垒
, as this will reduce the damage taken by 90% of anything close to it while this channels. When pulling more than 1 of these, even if pulled at the same time, you don’t guarantee that they cast the bulwark at the same time, so the safest thing to do is to assign a single target cc to each of the first casts, then after that you can judge the gap between the 2 casts to see if you should AoE CC instantly on the next cast or if you hold until the 2nd mob also casts his.

: Try and avoid pulling these if you can as they are very deadly once the totem that heals them is killed.

deals a lot of damage to the group, and the

has no cap on how many times it stacks, so if left alone for a long time, this will shred any tank.

Make sure the 3 totems in each corner dies within 7 seconds of each other or they will all heal back to 100% health. After the totems die the boss just falls over, this boss is never really a threat, make sure to interrupt his

before the 2nd tick and slowly backpedal to kite him around the room so dont stand in bad.

: Their melee hits inflict nature damage, so use

on cooldown here to mitigate damage. Their

targets random people in line of sight dealing a significant 3 yard range physical damage around the target it jumps to. Be careful when using AoE stuns on these mobs as you will sync their leaps, if you get unlucky people can die if they get too many hits at the same time. You can actually dodge this leap with enough movement speed. At this moment there isn’t much need to try and dodge this leap, but if it comes down to last resort, do know that a well timed
英勇飞跃
will make sure you dodge the leap.
飨宴的啸天龙
: Any melee spec can solo interrupt one of these birds. So if you want to pull more than 1, make sure you have enough interrupts to deal with the fear. If a fear goes off for whatever reason you can use

to get out of it.

: Make sure to step in a blood puddle if you get targeted by
鲜血灌注
. This will deal significant damage to the mob, if not picked up it will heal instead.
Middle Pack:
This pack consists of

There are 4 Saurids patrolling along with this pack but they are actually not linked. If you use
禁锢
or something similar on the saurid in this picture, then all 4 saurids will stop moving, allowing you to kill them off by themselves or with another pack.
This is very useful when it is bolstering week, because killing the middle pack is still good count, but pulling it with the small mobs won't turn out too well.
Make sure to interrupt the
史前巨兽
from the dinomancer. Keep in she doesn’t melee, but shoots at the tank instead, these are blockable so you don’t have to worry too much, just know that she doesn’t move unless you run really far away, so during sanguine week it is important that this target dies first.
Move out of melee range when Monzumi casts his
狂野鞭笞
as it is deals heavy non-blockable physical damage.
T’lonja will target a random player outside of melee range with his
狂暴冲锋
. Make sure you are not between him and the target to avoid getting stunned. The charge is blockable, so if it does target you for some reason, well now you know.
女祭司阿伦扎
Every
鲜血灌注
cast will deal 25% damage to herself assuming every player had a blood pool for the full duration of the channel. You can use your damage cooldowns here as long as they are ready when the fight is over. This fight is not about DPS at all because the idea is for the boss to do 3 transfusions, dealing 75% of her health to herself and the group doing 25% in damage which is not a hard dps check at all. Use CC on the
黄金之魂
so you can hit the boss instead if possible. If your group doesn’t have any CC for these adds just kill them, don’t let them eat any pools.
亚兹玛
Make sure you have block up for every
刺穿
cast as these can almost one shot you if not blocked. Every
毁灭痛苦
should be interrupted. She casts this ability very often and she always casts it after
愈魂
except one time about 2 minutes into the fight. If there are a lot of spiders near the boss if she casts this after the soulrend, then call for someone with a ranged interrupt to take this instead. If you don’t have a ranged interrupt in your group you need to be good at dodging spiders or pre-use defensives if you are not confident.
The best way to move this boss is to just kite her around the room in the same direction and let the DPS and healer bait the clones on a range player.

: This guy will occasionally toss you to a random range player. Tell the ranged in your group to play close to melee so you don’t get tossed too far away, make sure to watch out for their
反手猛击
as this ability can not be blocked and will do a lot of damage to you, zooming in your camera can help a lot here to see where they are facing, as they target random people with this ability. This mob is not slowable, so during necrotic weeks or raging make sure that you utilize knockbacks from your group and save heroic leap for when you need to run away.
铁潮海盗
: They can leap behind you and apply a poison debuff stacking up to 5 times. The damage you take from these isn’t too bad, but can be annoying if you’re trying to kite. This debuff can also be reflected if timed properly, although you would rather try and reflect the Bonesaw.
铁潮锯骨者
: Watch out for the
感染之伤
. This gives you a 20% healing reduction, if you don’t have a disease dispel get ready to kite early against these guys to drop off your debuff. The debuff is applied from a physical hit called
污秽之刃
and this can be blocked and parried. If this gets parried, the debuff does not apply and your current stacks will drop.
You can also reflect this debuff, but it requires good timing, and it’s harder to pull off with Corsairs in the pack.
The cooldown of the filthy blade seems to be 10 seconds, but it lasts for 12 seconds, so if you know the corsairs used their leap recently, then just go ahead and reflect when the Infected Wound has less than 5 seconds remaining and it will drop.
铁潮射手
: This mob can be really annoying to deal with as a warrior because it doesn’t move unless someone displaces it or you line of sight it. If possible try and group everything else on top of this mob instead if trying to make it come to you.
铁潮猎犬
: This dog is for the most part harmless, it deals very low damage, but their bite applies a slow for 5 seconds which can be deadly if you fight these with Enforcers and you’re trying to kite.

It is recommended to save your bloodlust for this guy if it’s a tyrannical week. The first 25% of this fight can be very hard for your healer and you just want to get out of this phase as fast as you can. Once he reaches 75% health he will jump off his bird and you wanna move him to where this picture says:
Using this strategy the healer in the middle will get most of the poop from the bird because it shoots on the closest player. The bird flies in a circle around the room, so there will be times where the melee camp is the closest, if you get the green poop in melee, move him after the next

and reposition accordingly.
Make sure to use your

when there is 5 seconds or less left until the boss is going to do his

. Since you are not a robot there is no way you’re going to react to him targeting you and pressing your button in time, instead use it before and if he decides to shoot you then at least you got to mitigate some damage.
If you’re doing a really high tyrannical key in here you will be reaching 1-shot territory for melee getting hit by this shot, and if this is the case you can spec into

, but only do this as a last resort because the extra range of

actually makes a pretty big difference in this dungeon.

: This mob does nothing apart from cast

. This can be solo interrupted, and should never go off. These guys have a bit more health than other mobs and should always be your main target when cleaving something.

: They will target a random player and charge after 2.6 seconds, stunning anyone in his path. This ability should never go off. Use your

to prevent these from ever going off.

: Their

can be pretty annoying if you’re trying to kite, as the slow is pretty significant. If you need to kite make sure to save your Heroic Leap.

: This mob ports to random people and applies a disease that reduces healing taken and leaves a DoT. Be careful when pulling these if you don’t have a disease dispel.
水鼠帮水兵
: I hope whoever created this mob gets a shrine in their weekly chest. But for real, just don’t jump if you have the debuff from these guys. ever.
歹徒诱捕者
: This guy is immune to slows, but can be stunned. His
捕鼠陷阱
can be pretty hard to dodge as they become active the moment they become visible. Try and see where your teammates are standing and be ready to move to a safe location. These traps are “dodgable” with stuff like demon hunter

, paladins can also use

on themselves or anyone else to clear the traps.

: Make sure their

never goes off, this ability targets a random player and will definitely make your healer scream when it goes off. the

’s aren’t that big of a deal, you can also reflect them. If you want to pull multiple packs, make sure these guys are interrupted as you gather them, it happens far too often where kill everything then you go kill of a full health brinescale by itself.
水鼠帮海盗
: Pretty harmless mob, make sure to stun or fear their
“蕉”燥狂攻
, even if you don’t this ability does not do a huge amount of damage and it can be healed through. Unless it’s bolstering...
破浪飞刀手
: This mob is about as useful as nipples on a man, probably the least scary elite mob in any dungeon, they throw a dagger that bounces, but it doesn’t do very much damage.
黑齿拳手
: You don’t have to worry a lot about this as a warrior. If you don’t pull any brinescales with these guys then make sure to interrupt every cast of

so ranged dps and the healer don’t ever have to cancel their casts. However, if you decide to pull with the brinescales, the Frost Blast has a higher priority.
黑齿格斗家
: These guys can fixate random people in the group, use your stuns and fear to stop the fixate so they start hitting you instead.
破浪持戟者
: These guys can and will drag you back when you try to kite. If you want to play this pack really safe, you should kite before you actually need to so that you have
盾牌格挡
ready when they drag you back in. These can be pretty rough during Necrotic week as it can be really hard to get a reset, but you can kite them around the house close to the council boss, this allows you to line of sight the harpoon, forcing a reset if needed.
铁潮打击者
: Avoid pulling these if you can, they have a lot of health and don’t really give any good count. Their
投掷巨石
ability is bugged and will stun you right before they finish their cast. This ability is also blockable for whatever reason, but yeah, try not to get hit by this.
拉乌尔船长
You definitely want to have Bloodlust ready for this boss on tyrannical weeks, as this boss is very hard on your healer.

This will

the target of your target. The shot is blockable, so make sure to try and have block up whenever you soak one of these hits.
If properly played, any range DPS and the healer should be line of sighting these shots behind the pillar on the corner of the house with the stairs, it is important they do this because you won’t be able to

every single shot, so prioritize intervening melee dps.
Make sure you have Littlewigs or a WeakAura to track what buff or debuff is active from the flying brews. It’s important that you move the bosses out of any buffs and try and keep them inside of any debuffs. Don’t worry too much about you missing out on the buffs, just make sure the bosses don’t get them and you will be fine for the most part.

This guy is one of the few melee heavy damage guys that can actually be a threat to warriors. Don’t underestimate him on fortified and raging weeks. Thankfully he is very slow, so you can pretty much always outrange him, don’t attempt tanking this guy without block up, and make sure to dodge the shells flying around.

This boss is pretty easy and doesn’t do a lot of tank damage. You can actually block his

ability, this can be very useful as he spins for a very long time, and the damage you can do in in this window can make a difference for time. If your healer is struggling keeping shark-soaking-DPS alive, then you can go and bait some sharks during the tornado phase instead.

You want to play the 6 highlighted mobs together here. There is 1 ravager in the pack of 2, and 1 ravager in the pack of 4. The best thing to do here is the ravager and 2 more mobs in the pack of 4, then pull the last mob with the first 2 guys. Then you use the 2nd ravager with the remaining 2 mobs and itself.
There is one more ravager in this area(northeast pack), but it is advised you pull this back by itself and only if you are missing count after killing the 6 mobs before.

This fight is also pretty simple, but can be very long on tyrannical weeks, because of this during grievous weeks, it’s one of the hardest fights in the game and you definitely want lust here in that case.
As for the fight itself, the

is one of the worst telegraphed mechanics in the game, it’s not too hard to dodge in phase one, but after 60% there is no point trying to dodge it, just accept that you’re going to get hit and just leap or
拦截
back to the boss. You can also

to reduce the damage.
Make sure your group stacks after 60% to bait all the
火炮弹幕
’s and move as a group so you have more space.
It’s very common to skip the last pack which is right next to this boss, so make sure you are aware of this and never get in range to body pull them.

: Try and face these guys away from your range DPS so they don’t have to reposition when they cast

. If your group has a BM hunter or a druid, make sure to call for a soothe on their enrage. This mob also has way more health than other enemies in this room, so make sure to cleave your damage off of this guy unless you feel unsafe taking too much damage from the Witch Doctor.

. Even if you do, the damage you take from this debuff is very minor and probably won’t kill you.
Be very careful when dealing with this highlighted patrol on bolstering weeks. I’ve drawn where the patrol starts and where it stops, after finishing this clockwise patrol it never starts moving again, so it is crucial that you are able to deal with this patrol before it reaches the pack of 4 mobs.
The best way to deal with this patrol is to pull the northeastern pack up the stairs close to where the boss spawns, and when the patrol is in a spot where you won’t pull any other enemies have someone go out and kill them, if done properly they should be outside of range to bolster the enemies you’re fighting.

. You don’t reduce the overall healing requirement for the fight, but you make it easier for the healer as people should never die to 2 ticks of this debuff when Safeguarded. Make sure all pools from the

are dropped on the same side, and then just kite the boss accordingly clockwise or counter-clockwise, whatever you prefer it does not matter. If you hard cc one of the blobs and move the boss over it, he does not get the shield absorb and the blob becomes tankable. This can be nice to know if you have 1 sole blob coming from the other direction and you just want to get rid of it.

When entering the next room after first boss is dead, wait until everyone is full health and healer had time to drink, the moment you enter the room you trigger the roleplay event for the mobs to spawn and any 1 of the 4 packs can trigger first and will aggro the group regardless of position.

I have referred to this guy earlier in my guide as this boss is a prime example of knowing boss-timing. This boss does a lot of damage to tanks, so much to the point where if a rogue is affected by

it can be better to not use cloak, because there is less for the healer to worry about healing the rogue, rather than the tank being meleed.
However, since we are warriors we don’t care too much as long as we don't mess up our block uptime, it is crucial that you learn when to not waste a charge of

when there is downtime on this fight, getting meleed without block up will kill you in two hits.

ready, but taking 2 stacks of this will surely be a death sentence. The way you want to handle this mob is to learn the timing, when he is going to do his

If the tank is not in range he will instead hit the closest target, so get creative here, use whatever tools your group has to deal with this debuff, even if a DPS player takes the hit and uses a defensive cooldown, it is a lot better than you getting hit by this.

: These guys spawn healing totems, generally I find it easier to swap to the totem and kill it really fast rather than trying to move the mobs out of it because this are has a lot of casters and ranged mobs that are hard to move. They also cast

instantly dealing a huge chunk of damage to a random player and slowing them for a few seconds, if you’re pulling this mob with a

it is very important this slow is instantly dispelled or the player won’t make it out of the knock up from the brute.

You can still tank the boss with this debuff because you’re a warrior, but the boss is very slow and if you have to move keep in mind it is less healing required and DPS doesn’t really lose anything by the boss running. The hit can also be parried, meaning you don’t get the debuff at all. Don’t ever tank him during quaking week if you have the debuff. Quaking can almost one shot a tank by itself on this fight, so if combined with a melee you will instantly die.

This guy is very rough on warriors, as almost all the damage you take here is magic and you can not reflect it either!
Here is a picture for reference to see how much magic damage you actually take, so spend all your rage here on Ignore Pain and don’t care about block.
You can not reflect this ability, but reflect can be used to reduce the magic damage you take, so it’s still helpful.
On fortified keys it is advised to bloodlust this guy because as a warrior there just isn’t a lot you can do to live here.
After going through all your cooldowns you can Heroic Leap away and just keep running as you can outrange his abilities. Keep in mind every barrage leaves a dot so if you’re going to run, let your healer know so you don’t die to the ticking damage of this while being out of range of heals.

Warriors are really good on this fight because you can block the

The reason you want to do this is because normally there won’t be enough orbs for a person to soak them and get out of the mind control as you need to break the 50% health threshold, but by having an extra set of orbs, this will cover several mind control casts, allowing the next 3 mind controlled people to just soak orbs and get out instantly.
If you don’t have any orbs left and still want to get out of mind control really fast, you can go and jump down the water next to where you pull the boss, swim down a little bit and you will start taking heavy damage, this can require some practice as people tend to die doing this, but timing is everything.

to the tank, this debuff can stack rather quickly, so make sure to kite when you need to here as warriors don’t really handle magic damage that well. You can use

to mitigate some of this damage, but don’t rely on this. When the tank is out of range they will put this debuff on close range players instead, but it only has a 5 yard range, so if melee has good positioning they can still attack some of the mobs while not getting hit by this at all. These mobs also don’t seem to be affected by affixes such as

so feel free to pull as many of these as you want. They do apply necrotic though so be careful not to tank them for too long.

: This mob hits really hard on tanks, you will generally be fine with block up, but if you have downtime then kite this mob, he is very slow so don’t worry about him catching up to you. I prefer to kite this mob so that I will have

: These guys only have 1 cast. Make sure to interrupt it or it will heal themselves to full. 2 Melee kicks are needed to cover one of these guys, so if you have a range dps in the group it is essential you focus down one of them really fast so he won’t get a 2nd cast off.

Have a plan to how you want to position this boss, the

cast will place a big circle on the ground and can quickly take up a lot of space on the platform.
The best thing to do is pull him all the way out to the edge of the room then drag him around the edge of the circular platform, leaving room in the middle when you need to move him away from incoming adds.
The

debuff will reduce your healers health by 90% but also give him 200% increased damage and healing. Their damage is very significant and certain healers can absolutely destroy this boss, so having cooldowns ready here to let the healer DPS is very powerful.
In the intermission the tank and healer has to kill off the

. Make sure to ask if it is safe to kill off the denizen because it will phase you over to the DPS realm when it is dead. If you phase at a time of a cast from the

: Shoots random people in the group. There are usually multiple of these mobs when they show up so be ready to focus them down if needed. Allowing these to freecast will likely kill your group. Their health is very low so they shouldn’t take very long to kill.

Ideally you want to have the spotter before 3rd boss alive throughout the rest of the dungeon, and any spotters before that one just use to kill the trash you pulled with itself. affects the spotter and make sure to play around this. I have personally seen the artillery hit for more than 30 million per hit at high bolstering stacks, so this is definitely recommended.

Make sure she is always slowed to prevent her from using

. This probably won’t happen due to how often we use

which slows for 20%, so you shouldn’t have to worry. If you don’t use the cannoneer to shoot her to make her jump back down, you can keep the cannoneer until the 2nd time she will jump on her ship, instantly shooting her down for no downtime, this can be nice if your group has cooldowns that lasts longer than one landphase, such as demon hunters Metamorphosis.

: Because the spotter doesn’t work on these guys, consider skipping them. If you do decide to play them, face the frontal cast away from the group, it also has a very long cast time so they should have time to dodge this anyway. You can use

is a cast targeted on the tank and will deal heavy magic damage to anyone in front. This has a 45 yard range so don’t try to outrange it, just use

to mitigate the damage and ask nicely for heals. There is no point stunning this cast unless the mob is really low on health, because it will keep re-casting until the cast goes off. You can also not dodge this as the mob faces the tank at the end of the cast.
水鼠帮海盗
: Use your stun and fear on their

cast. If this goes off, several bananas will land on the floor, stunning you if you step on them. These bananas are extremely hard to see and has a hitbox 10 times the size of the model.

: This mob has 3 different casts and you need to interrupt all of them, set up an interrupt rotation to make sure you don’t miss kicks here!

: These guys apply a stacking poison on the tank, this should be dispelled on cooldown, but kite early on these packs as the damage from this DoT can kill you rather fast combined with the damage from the rest of these mobs.

to this boss if you can, regardless of affixes. The most efficient way to play this boss is to wait for an artillery from the spotter, then engage the boss and everyone except for the tank focuses down the

. When you bait the artillery on this tentacle, make sure it hits the tentacle while also not hitting the friendly mob being gripped. If you bait too close to the center of this tentacle then the engineer will die and you can’t do the fight. On bolstering weeks a single bait will be enough to kill any tentacle here so damage from players is very irrelevant.
If the artillery is not increased by any affixes, you might have to put some baits on demolishers. Especially on tyrannical weeks because the spotter deals less damage and tentacles have more health. If you can’t ensure the gripping tentacle dies before a 2nd demolisher spawns you should put the baits on the demolishers instead.
When moving to a

you can throw a

to stun it before anyone is in range to make sure DPS players can start hitting this before you are in range to tank it.
Keep in mind that the timer for a 2nd npc=137614 to spawn on the 2nd and 3rd platform starts whenever someone in the group damages the

. So if you have time to spare, consider killing the first demolishing terror here by itself before even touching the gripping, giving your group a lot more time to potentially kill the

When pulling more than one of these at the same time, it will be a lot easier if you coordinate to pull both at the same time, ask someone to pull the other one if you need to. This should make sure they will sync up and cast their abilities at the same time, so when you have to dodge the first frontal, the second one doesn’t cast in a different direction. Same thing goes for the frontal melee swing. Make sure to purge or interrupt their

inside the pack where you pull these guys, so the best thing to do here is to pull the pack back a bit so they walk out of the cloud, then start hitting them. Make sure to stun the

cast to prevent them from spawning new clouds. If the mobs are inside a cloud most of your attacks will miss.

: This mob works the same way as the Rider, except he they don’t do the frontal breath. Face these guys away from the group as they do have a frontal swing.

: These guys are not that common to pull, but make sure to watch out for their frontal breath, as it leaves a nasty debuff increasing the damage you take by 30% if hit. Also they will knock the tank back, so positioning here and making sure nothing is facing the group while getting knocked back can be quite difficult.

, but always make sure to have interrupts for the tenders, so if you’re pulling big here then just let this cast go through and kite the mobs out of the zone it leaves. They will do a cast when they are low on health then explode for a lot of damage to nearby players. The radius is slightly bigger than what it indicates, so play this one safe and just get really far out.

This boss is hands down the most difficult dps/healing check on high tyrannical keys. Generally this dungeon is very generous on time and the only thing that would cost you the key is this boss right here. Consider running a haste/vers heavy gearset in this dungeon, just for this boss.

The best thing to do here is to use a speed potion and pull as much as you can from the sides and pull it towards the middle and die when both sides have dunked their orb.]

has the highest priority, and they will re-cast this rather quickly after being kicked.

is a long cast and should be kicked only if you have spare interrupts available. The heal can be annoying, but it’s not the end of the world.
机甲驾驶员
: If an unoccupied Peacekeeper is nearby, they will run to this and try and pilot it. However, peacekeepers give 12 count, so by killing a piloted peacekeeper, it gives you 12 count from the peacekeeper and 4 count from the jockey inside of it. Make sure to damage the jockey before he finishes the cast in order to get the count for it. If you have the Engineering belt enchant you can use this after using

to get in melee range to knock him to a desired location. This is similar to how Death Knights can use

to displace him closer to a desired peacekeeper. At the end of the day, your goal should be to kill as many peacekeepers with jockeys inside as you can as this is the most efficient count you can get in this dungeon.

here, but it will break after one hit, so it’s not consistent mitigation. The best way to handle these is to try and pull as many as you can, I don’t think you can do more than 4 though, but try and see how much you can do. It’s also important to try and pull them at the same time. If you pull them at different times they will be very desynced. If they are all using their

at the same time, it is way easier for a DPS to not lose damage compared to having 1 of the 3 doing shield while the other 2 are running away and spreading out. It’s also very important you build good initial threat here so you can kite as much as you want later on, because facetanking 3 of these will for sure put any tank on the floor.

: These guys will be a pain in the ass for your healer and dps. They will randomly charge anyone but the tank, dealing heavy physical damage and stunning them for 2 seconds. They will also cast

The best way I’ve found to handle the

is to have the healer or dps kick 2 bombs really fast, then you want to extend the 3rd one the very last second, but sometimes you get coins under the boss while you want to kick the bomb, so what you wanna do is have the tank kick the 3rd bomb as soon as any coins spawn, then start moving the boss. If the 3rd bomb doesn’t overlap with any coins then just kick it at the very end.
This boss is bugged and sometimes even if you pre-move as soon as coins spawn, sometimes he will do some weird spell-queueing, resulting in him absorbing the coins anyway without any counterplay. If this happens, just hope your healer is a god so you don’t wipe.

This boss can be a real pain to move around as he stops very often to do mechanics or shoot the tank, so whenever you can tell what spot the flying heads are moving to try and find a safe spot before they even landed, giving you more time to position the boss in time. This part is very RNG because sometimes they move further and sometimes they don’t move at all. Usually the 2nd and 3rd

Keep in mind that the

With 2 melees and a tank, you generally have enough interrupts to never let a cast go through on the tank assuming the add dies reasonably fast. If you want to play it super safe you can hold reflect for the add cast so it dies faster if you know the group has enough interrupts for the boss.
If you wanna go for speed you will always reflect the boss while also focusing the boss and cleaving the add. When doing this be ready to use

for any bolt that will hit you. When reaching very high keys the bolt will even kill you through wall, so plan accordingly!

: These guys don’t really do anything, never waste interrupts here as their cast can be dodged and is also very easy to dodge. They are also extremely slow so kiting here is super easy.

: Assign one melee interrupt for each lasher. Sometimes they will cast again before your interrupt is ready, so be ready to stun or fear in case this happens. It can also be dispelled if your healer can dispel disease.

is optional. The damage is very low but it will still silence casters, The damage from the screech is actually physical and can be blocked. If you want to save time, it is suggested you pull a lasher for every interrupt and only 1 swarmer at a time while ignoring the screech.These guys will fixate on random non-tank players which is why pulling more than 1 here can be very annoying to deal with. The player kiting them should deadzone them, which means you should be running away from their melee range, but not too far because then they will be in range to charge, instantly closing the gap.

The charge can never target the tank so you don’t have to bait on the wall, instead just face him away from the wall so the DPS never have to stay in front if he casts

. This ability can be dodged by simply walking away as soon as he casts it, so make sure to hold your Heroic Leap for the intermission to soak any distant worms. Everybody should save mobility abilities for this phase as the soaking can be quite difficult without.

: These guys are stationary and will need a lot of interrupts as they don’t actually get locked when you kick them. Try to avoid pulling as it’s very hard to pull stuff with them.

: You need 2 interrupts per mob here. Their

As a warrior you don’t need any healing from your healer here, because every spore that you kill gives you victory rush. Usually using

will give you enough procs to survive, but if you feel like it’s not enough you can always just Heroic Throw every other global on the spores to generate victory rush procs.
It is suggested you always bring at least 1 rogue for this dungeon to open cages faster and collect all the group buffs in the 2nd level of the dungeon without pulling any of the mobs.
Even on fortified weeks, the only damage that matters in this dungeon is Single Target damage because you usually skip everything you can and kill as much as possible with the cannons.
If you don’t have a rogue you can still unlock the cages with

: These guys melee extremely hard. Consider saving Wall when pulling this guy as even warriors can get chunked really hard if you don’t crit block. Usually he has very low health when you engage the pack so you should just kill him off really fast before he becomes an issue. During

weeks this guy tends to re-apply the raging buff after he has been soothed so be very careful and if you need to just kite him until he is dead and then go back into the pack.

, this needs 2 people to “safely” make sure he doesn’t get a cast off but I have seen situations where people were able to solo kick this ability and other situations where you needed 2 people, it’s kind of inconsistent.
You also need 2 people to kick the

because if the player assigned gets mauled you need someone else to kick it. You can also kick this instantly, you don’t have to wait for his shield to be broken.
Line of Sight the
闪光飞刃
to avoid taking damage.
In the following area you should aim to play as much as possible with the
重型火炮
as this thing scales with keylevel and will absolutely destroy any mobs it hits in 2-3 hits. Generally people get more than 70% count in this area.

This boss is a very easy gearcheck, it can take a while if you are moving the barrels bad and have a lot of melee dps that can’t get high uptime. However, becacuse of how generous this dungeon is on time it’s better to play this boss safe and move barrels to the same location(usually a corner) to make sure they don’t chain explode. If one barrel chains onto another barrel from the same set of spawns, it can potentially explode a new set that will spawn during the fuse timer. This is why your number one priority is to make sure all existing barrels die to the same

Tank this boss in a corner with stairs and face your back to the wall. You’re going to have a pretty bad PoV on this boss, but there isn’t much for you to keep track of here anyway. If your group doesn’t have a Demon Hunter to soak every single

, then make sure the same person does not get hit twice, which means you need a soak rotation for this ability which can be kind of aids to deal with if you get knocked back.
Here I will assume you get the bottom right path when I explain the dungeon.

: These guys don’t do much and have really low health. They target random people with

, so kick this to prevent damage taken.

: These guys shoot for moderate amount of damage. If you are targeted by

then move out of the group to not cleave them. I like to pull these guys back to the entrance for more space, so make sure to line of sight somewhere so they group up.

to prevent a lot of damage on the group. Avoid the

as this deals heavy damage when soaked, immunities can be used to clear the area here.

: These guys spawn 3 maggots when they die, so make sure you are prepared and don’t run off to pull more trash because there is a small delay between them dying and the maggots spawning.

deals a lot of damage, so pulling big here is limited to how much your healer can heal/defensives available. Multiple spits going on the same person will likely end up killing them.

will always target the tank, but you can still dodge the ability as they lock on to the position they start the cast from. Try and face this away from the group so it doesn’t hit anyone.

This guy doesn’t deal a lot of damage, so pulling everything in this room with the boss is definitely a possibility to save a lot of time. His hitbox is very small so make sure you pay attention to the melee range so he doesn’t randomly hit someone while you’re running away from mechanics or trying to aggro mobs. His

is blockable, so don’t be afraid of soaking this instead of walking through bad stuff. Standing in shit actually does a lot of damage on this fight, so not moving is better most of the time.

is blockable, but the damage is still very significant. If this mob gets buffed by the

, it is crucial it gets dispelled instantly to prevent her from one shotting the tank with the barrage.

Warriors are extremely good for this boss because all he does is melee really hard, so being able to block here is super valuable.
On fortified keys you can actually kill him without clearing once. Consider using haste gear in this dungeon just for this boss if it allows you to tank him without ever clearing his stacks as this requires insane amounts of group healing.
You can also have people taunt him out and you taunt back to buy some time before your cooldowns become ready. Very useful if you run into a situation where your

will be ready a few seconds after your block runs out.

: This mob really hurts, they do a lot of magic damage that you cannot block. If your group doesn’t have a slow you won’t be able to pull very big here. However, during your avatar and wall you can tank these mobs for quite a while and enough time to build threat, so if you have a slow you can go as big as you want here as they don’t do anything to anyone when kited. Just make sure to face their cleave away from the group.

deals a lot of damage to the tank. What you can do here is stun them during the cast to make sure they all cast at the same time after then you use

to reflect all the casts.
They will cast

on the furthest target. Since it is magic damage it should be on a range dps or a healer as long as it doesn’t kill them. The damage is very heavy, but in most scenarios anyone can bait these leaps.
Gorak Tul
Use your stuns to stop
黑暗之跃
from the adds here. It will stun players for 5 seconds if you let it cast. They are immune to fear, but any stun or incapacitate will stop this cast. The healer should pick up the torch and burn the adds so they don’t respawn every time he summons a new add.
