Avoid using this ability during the Cleansing Rain effect, as that weather effect cuts one round off of damage-over-time abilities, making Agony lose its real 'oomph' during the final turn. You are better off sticking to a normal baseline attack ability in such a case.

Creepy Create at level 10 with 325 power, Agony will do damage in three steps 29/59/91 = 179. Creepy Chomp, the alternate ability will do 124.

This ability's total damage is 25 + 150% Attack, divided along 3 ticks:
1st tick: 5 + 25%
2nd tick: 10 + 50%
3rd tick: 15 + 75%

Its low base damage can be deceptive. Agony will seem pitiful while levelling, and probably end up being ignored in favor of other instant-damage alternatives - but its good scaling makes it unexpectedly powerful at max level, particularly on power-heavy breeds.
