The debuff has been changed to apply for 2 rounds.
Really nice skill in combination with skills that do a lot of damage after a few rounds. An example would be
. Apply it, switch pets, and you will have a massive nuke.
This goes through the Silk Cocoon of
- presumably because it does no damage - giving you something useful to do that round.
It's called Howl but whenever I look at the icon I imagine it's called Bark at the Moon.
Easy counter : Swap pet.
this ability can miss. regardless of it saying 100% chance which i think is complete bull *!@#.
because most elite boss pets have 50% damage reduction, this ability is even stronger than normal against them. instead of increasing damage taken from 100% to 200% (double), it increases damage taken from 50% to 150% (triple).
Is it me or is this ability bugged right now? It sometimes just falls off the enemy before the 2 rounds have completed.
EDIT: It appears Soween is right, the debuff is "used up" by one attack. Don't use this ability around dots, because it will just buff 1 tick and then fall off.
This ability has been terribly nerfed with the last patch-- used up on a single attack. It used to last the entire two round duration. A mainstay of multi-hit attackers, now it's only useful with heavy-hitting abilities.
This ability just sucks now after its nerf... there are numerous other abilities that outshine it now for the same +100% damage effect, and they don't get used up after a single hit! :|
