There are too many snakes with this ability that are nonvenemous, like python, boa, rat snake.
Only works for 2 rounds for me.

This ability can be absolutely brutal if it lands on a mechanical unit. The beast damage is negligible, but the DoT it leaves behind is elemental damage, which mechanical units are weak to.
At level 13, this thing was ticking for 100+ (strong) damage per round. 5 rounds of this would absolutely tear through my mechanical pets, given that they had little more than 7-800.hp at the time.
This ability was nerfed in 6.0, lowering its instant damage from 15 (+0.75) to 10 (+0.5). Still very damaging, just not as ridiculous
This ability's overall damage is brutal:
So if allowed to run its full duration, it'll deal the same damage as two
with a single cast (disregarding type mixup), making it a worthy investment; although repeated use results in just 15 (+0.75) damage per turn, which is below basic attacks.
Its Elemental damage is a double-edged sword however - decreases its efficiency versus Critters (a Beast's preferred meal), but makes it quite deadly for Mechanicals, which are the bane of Beasts.
