黑犬宝箱 is located in Blackhound Outpost northwest of the Theater of Pain flight point.
It's locked inside of a building and to open the door you have to be Necrolord.
You have to summon and escort 维斯克图斯 to the treasure.
First unlock the Necrolord Abomination Factory which will reveal the quest from 召唤师赫拉德.
To complete the summoning you have to craft 100 心能束缚的裹布 (requires 100 萦亡布).
The progress is shared with other Necrolord players so you may not need all 100.
You can do it at 憎恶缝合桌 in the Abomination Factory.
After you bring all 心能束缚的裹布 to 召唤师赫拉德维斯克图斯 will start moving to treasure.
You have to kill the enemies which will spawn along the way.
At the end it will destroy the door blocking the treasure.
The reward is 永恒骨铸巨斧.
If you bring 100 心能束缚的裹布 you'll get 裹布的尽头 achievement.

Yes Mages, you CAN blink through the gate.
No, the treasure will not be there, but I was still excited for like 3 seconds.

Edit: They put in a countermeasure that teleports you outside if you aren't a necrolord and blink through the gate with Soulshape. Sorry folks!

If you're a member of the Night Fae Covenant, you can use 灵魂变形 to get through the door and loot the treasure. Another poster said mage blink causes it to despawn; so your mileage may vary!

You can Swapblaster someone who is inside to gain access, then Swapblaster out

Was able to get in using a cushion, i used 菠萝形沙发垫 as close to the gate as possible

and was able to then get out using another cushion

I'm not a necrolord

You can pass through the gate using the Darkmoon Seesaw.

As a Night Fae you can use 灵魂变形 to blink though the gate, grab the treasure and get out.

do you have to be 60 to see the cache, or did they patch this? i used a Zhevra Cushion to get in, but there's nothing there...

As a rogue I got past the gate with Arena Master's War Horn and Shadowsteping one of the Ogres. Happy hunting.

As of the patch today (December 8, 2020) any trick to bypass the gate like using cushion toy or Soulshape will get you ported back outside. Blizzard fixed the gate to now require Necrolord covenant to access the chest.

man... we glitched into the room for this chest because doing it the right way is such a pain or just not possible on most days, the toy wasn't even dropping so why did they patch it

Maybe I missed something (and please let me know if I did), but it would be really nice if there was something that made it clear this is only accessible by Necrolords. Killed all the enemies and wondered why I still could not access the gate.

There was no gate when I went over to the cache because it was showing on my minimap. But when I go into the room, absolutely nothing is there. =/

after finally unlocking the quest for this i made a bunch of anima wraps and made visctus go towards the cache, about half way he just disappeared at full health with enemies still alive and the yell to say that he's at the factory popped up in the chat, it seems that even the game doesn't want us to get this cache or the not even worth it items inside of it

It would be super great if this chest didn't show up on the map. I'm picking up chests for A Call to Maldraxxus, thought it'd be a fun challenge to do it only with treasures. Saw this on my map and went over, tried killing stuff to get the door open... only to find out even if I did get through the door I wouldn't get the chest.

Just make this completely invisible if we're in the wrong covenant, Blizz. That's like design 101.
