Early Beta LFR impressions (10 minute enrage time)
Tanks
Turn him away from raid to avoid
死疽吐息
and switch till you are comfortable with the
溃烂
debuff. Other tank can pull big add
真菌食肉者
near the boss so melee can cleave. That add comes from the water behind the boss always. Also you should help interrupting
凋零
of this add which really hurts the raid if not interrupted.
DPS
Melee should stay with the boss but focus the big add
真菌食肉者
when he comes and also must interrupt
凋零
of that add.
Ranged should focus and kill Mind Fungus mushroom since it gives haste debuff, but you can move away from his aura to remove the debuff. Other add,
孢子射手
, should be also killed but lower priority than
蚀脑真菌
and
真菌食肉者
since he just shoot green spores with some aoe dmg.
Healers
There are two `friendly` mushrooms,
活性蘑菇
and
回春蘑菇
.You have to heal them to full so you can get big buffs,
活性孢子
and
回春孢子
. One of them increases your haste and mana regen, other one gives a aoe heal buff. Get away from
蚀脑真菌
asap since they decrease your haste.
No one should stand on the green moss which periodically appears on the ground.
火焰喷射器
This is a very important aspect of the fight. Two people can get a flamethrower to clear
滑溜溜的苔藓
from the ground since the adds (not boss) get healed from this moss. It also gives
爆裂灌注
buff which is 3% increase to the flamethrower using player`s haste, critical strike chance and ms chance per green moss he/she cleared stacking up to 15 times.

Brackenspore heroic mode – Written bossguide
***Ability overview***
Creeping Moss (nature): Deals damage and slows anyone standing in it. Creeping Moss will also heal Brackenspore and his minions for 2% of their maximum health every 2 seconds if they come into contact with it.
Rot (nature): Brackenspore places a stacking debuff on his current target which deals damage over time.
Necrotic Breath (nature): Deals damage in a cone infront of Brackenspore, Necrotic Breath will also reduce the healing affected player takes by 99%.
Infesting Spores (nature): Brackenspore places a stacking debuff which deals damage over time to every player present in the raid.
***Hostile adds and their abilites***
Spore Shooter:
Spore shot (nature): Spore shooter shoots a green ball at a random player in the raid. If any player comes into contact with the ball it will explode, dealing damage in an 8yard radius.
Mind Fungus: Players in close proximity of the Mind Fungus will have their casting speed reduced by 75%.
Fungal Flesh-Eater:
Flesh Eater: Fungal Flesh-Eater periodically gains a stacking buff called Flesh Eater. This buff will provide Fungal Flesh-Eater with a 10% damage dealt, attack speed and casting speed increase.
Decay (nature): Fungal Flesh-Eater casts an interruptible AOE that deals massive amounts of damage.
***Helpful adds and their abilities***
Living Mushroom:
Living Spores: Once Living Mushroom reaches 100% health it will start healing all units within a 20yard radius.
Withering: Living Mushroom will wither away over time. The rate at which it decays will also increase over time.
Rejuvenating Mushroom:
Rejuvenating Spores: Once Rejuvenating Mushroom reaches 100% health it will emit an aura which increases the haste and mana regeneration of nearby units.
***Other useful tools***
Flamethrower: Can be used to burn down patches of Creeping Moss. The flamethrower will generate heat as it is used, causing it to overheat after some time.
Burning Infusion: Whenever a players burns down a patch of Creeping Moss, he or she will gain a damage and healing increase buff.
***Tactics breakdown***
As soon as you enter the room where Brackenspore is located you will notice two weapon racks. These racks can be right-clicked in order to recieve a flamethrower. You will assign two players before the fight starts that will be on ”cleaning duty”, preferably two mobile ranged DPS. After having obtained the flamethrower, you get an extra action button which you can press in order to spray flames. Doing so will pacify you for the remainder of the channeling time.
It's the flamethrower's job to deal with a mechanic called Creeping Moss. Creeping Moss is a ground effect which originates from the beach, and spreads itself over time. As mentioned above in the abilites section, Creeping Moss will deal damage and slow players standing in it, while healing Brackenspore and his minions.
So it is of utmost importance that you deal with the Creeping Moss properly. To remove it, simply position yourself infront of a moss patch and press your extra action button. Try to remove as many moss patches as possible while channeling, as the flamethrower will overheat after some time. Each patch that the players removes will also grant him/her a stacking damage/healing buff, which acts as a consolation prize of sorts for doing the @#$% job. Congratulations.
Moving onto the big bad guy himself; Brackenspore! He uses a grand total of three abilites, two of which are important for your tanks to know about. The first one is called Rot. This is just your average ”swap at X” debuff (yay!). You know what to do tanks. His second tank specific ability is called Necrotic Breath. He will channel this from time to time, dealing damage to all players infront of him, also reducing affected players healing taken by 99%. Right before he is about to cast this, you'll want the tank who is not currently affected by rot to taunt the boss and position him away from the raid (he should always be positioned away from the raid.) Healers make sure to top off the tank right before the breath is about to land, (and keep those absorbs rolling?).
Brackenspore's third ability is called Infesting Spores. He will cast a raidwide dot which stacks. Healers might want to save a major healing CD for when he casts this ability, unless there is a helpful mushroom present. There will spawn two kinds of helpful mushrooms throughout your encounter with Brackenspore, one is green and one is blue. They will spawn at random locations throughout the area and start out with 50% health.
It's very important to heal these mushrooms to 100% and after that, try to keep them alive for as long as possible. When the green mushroom reaches 100% it will start doing a massive AOE heal, so healers need not worry so much about healing the raid and focus more on healing the green mushroom. It heals in a 20yard radius, so make sure you position the boss close to the mushroom in order for the melee and tanks to be healed by this. The blue mushroom will give nearby players increased haste and mana regen after having reached 100% health, so make sure you stack on top of it and keep it alive (healers, melee, ranged should all stack on the blue shroom!)
Brackenspore will spawn three kinds of hostile adds aswell. And while we're on the topic of shrooms, we might aswell talk about the rotten one. He will spawn a mushroom called Mind Fungus on top of a random player, which slows the casting speed of nearby players by 75%. The Mind Fungus should only be killed ASAP when you are stacking on a helpful mushroom. Otherwise, just put some dots on it to ensure a slow demise.
The second hostile add that will spawn is called Spore Shooter. This add is very reminiscent of the Pea Shooter from Plants VS Zombies! Spore shooters will spawn on random locations and start firing green explosive balls at players, chosen at random! Assign two-three players to be on ball-soaking duty as you don't want the whole raid to get exploded on while stacking on a mushroom. Pea shooters should be killed slowly by dots, they aren't high priority targets by any stretch of the imagination.
And last but definetly not least, we have the fungal flesh-eaters! These needs to be killed ASAP because of how their abilities synergize. The first one is called Decay which is an interruptible AOE spell that deals massive amounts of damage. You will want to assign 2-3 people to rotate interrupts for his Decay cast. His second ability Flesh Eater periodically increases his damage, attack speed and casting speed by 10%, this ability stacks. If he is alive for to long Decay will become an instant cast and he will one-shot the raid.
Quick summary (for the ones who value their time!)
Two people pick up flamethrowers and burn down the green patches on the ground.
Tanks taunt off eachother once their Rot stacks gets too high.
The tank without Rot stacks will deal with the Necrotic Breath alone (what a man!) Healers make sure you top the tank about to get breathed at before he gets breathed at as you won't be able to heal that tank during the breath.
Place the boss on top of helpful mushrooms.
Tanks: pick up the Fungal Flesh-Eater when he spawns.
Healers: Heal the beneficial mushroom to full health, and continue to heal them once they start to wither.
Healers might want to use a major healing CD for when Brackenspore casts Infesting

When a mushroom spawns in the raid, the only proper thing to call out is "There's a fungus among us."

A small tip that seemed to work very well for us, give the flame-guns to hunters (and I imagine anyone with a similar mechanic works just as well) When you use your flame gun and Disengage together - u can jump over 4-5 parts of creeping Moss and instantly remove all of them.

Flamethrower duty
This is what I did
be in range of 2-3 patches of moss
use flamethrower
immediately
turn it off (prevents overheating)
run to another 2+ patches
Rinse and repeat
I emphasize immediately because turning the flamethrower off for even one second to run to the nearby patches helped a lot w/ preventing overheating.
With this method we didn't hit the soft enrage of too many patches of creeping moss

My guild said that Brackenspore would be a real fungi to fight, but I wasn't lichen it very much, especially when the moss crept in and we didn't have mushroom to move.

if I read it correct (Icy-veins), Versatility is the worse stats you can have on a moonkin druid. I have no clue why Blizz give those stats on those hands :-\
