One of the three legendary daily battle pet battles you encounter in your Garrison. To start the battle, interact with the
Challenge Post with the legendary paw icon above it.
The team is , , and .
One of the easier battles, it is hard-countered by a few pets:
1st:
君王蟹
(Breed 4 P/P) specced into
汹涌
,
复苏之雾
, and
湍流旋涡
.
2nd:
欢跃水黾
specced into
水流喷射
,
净化之雨
and
抽水
.
*
This could be any pet with the
净化之雨
ability, honestly!
*
3rd:
剥石者幼崽
(Breed 5 S/S) specced into
迅猛突袭
,
偏斜
, and
脚踢
On your first turn, lay down a
湍流旋涡
.
Second turn,
复苏之雾
.
Third turn,
汹涌
.
Note:
this is when will use
爱情药水
on turn #1 or #2 usually. It has higher priority than both Surge and Whirlpool, so it will effectively heal for 0!
Follow-up with
汹涌
until Mr. Terrible dies (usually the next turn).
When
大眼萝卜
comes out, repeat the process as you did with . Your Crab should still be alive! If it isn't, finish off with your
欢跃水黾
's
水流喷射
until dies.
When comes out, lay down a
净化之雨
then swap to your
剥石者幼崽
.
From here on out, it is easy- if Sloppus has the buff from
咀嚼
then put up either a
偏斜
or
脚踢
. Fill in with
迅猛突袭
. Having the buff from Cleansing Rain is helpful to counter his
恶臭
but not detrimental once it falls off.
All in all, the two carrot pets are easily soloed by the Emperor Crab, provided they do not crit. The Dancing Water Skimmer wasn't really necessary, but I added it to the mix just for the cleansing rain. The Flayer Youngling is able to hard-counter when the
吸收
that comes with the hit from Chew.
Hopefully this helps! Good luck! :)

Video of their demise here:
No rough Veg in my Menagerie!
Team I used was a basic team of:
金钱豹蛙
塔边小蟹
蓝色龙鹰幼崽
I made great use of
金钱豹蛙
's
青蛙的吻
in this fight - and he can basically solo the two Tubers. The
塔边小蟹
is there just for back up. With your
金钱豹蛙
active first, put up
净化之雨
then spam
青蛙的吻
as you like. If you manage to Hex
恐怖先生
then he will automatically swap to
大眼萝卜
and you can just rinse & repeat. When they are low, hit them in the face with
水流喷射
- rather a fun way to beat down two root veg!
When
斯鲁普斯
comes out - your aquatic abilities are going to be weak against him - you can widdle him down and/or just switch to
蓝色龙鹰幼崽
. Use your
烈焰吐息
to kill him - should be able to smack him with one
焚烧
as well before he's dead.

Doable with two pets:
Leopard Tree Frog
(or any frog, really) and the ubiquitous
Mechanical Pandaren Dragonling
. Spam Frog Kiss for both carrots, heal if necessary. A pet will switch out if it gets frogged and there's another one available, so the last carrot may pull back and send out Sloppus. If so, swap to the Dragonling, use Thunderbolt to kill off the one in the back row, then Decoy when Sloppus uses Chew and spam Breath until he dies. If for some reason the back row carrot isn't dead yet, he should almost be, so he shouldn't be hard to finish off.
Sadly it's a bit dependent on RNG - if you don't frog them enough and they don't switch around enough, your poor frog can die a horrible death way too early. Bring another as backup, or a carry pet that can do a bit of damage to make up for it.
To add insult to injury, my frog was only 23 and not even S/S (but rare).

2 Pet + lowbie pet strategy I used:
Magical Crawdad with Surge, Renewing Mists and Wish
Mechanical Pandaren Dragonling with Breath and Decoy
1- Start with the lowbie and use any spell, Mr. Terrible is the first enemy pet and he'll use Weakening Blow, your lowbie is going to get to 1HP, after it swap to Magical Crawdad.
2- After swapping try to keep Renewing Mists up whenever possible, and use Wish when you get around 50HP, the ideia is to do maximum damage possible with Surge, and as soon as you get to very low HP Mr. Terrible is going to cast Spiked Skin (his only source of damage able to kill your pet), whenever he do this just cast Wish and repeat the process, just remember to NEVER use surge when you're very low HP + Mr. Terrible have Spiked Skin up (if you do it right it's impossible for crawdad to die here)
3- Carroteye shows up now, try to keep Renewing Mists up (again) and Wish on cd, no secrets here, maybe RNG can be annoying with his Aged Yolk, but only if you're very unlucky.
4- After Carroteye dies swap immediately to Mechanical Pandaren Dragonling, use Decoy and spam Breath, if by very unlucky means Dragonling dies, swap back to Crawdad and repeat the strategy from last pet.
Well hope it helps you guys. for me it was perfect =D
Any better ideas are welcome!

This combination is perhaps one of the easiest Pet Battle to level from. This fight reminds me of
Farmer Nishi
before the Nerf/Buff (however you see it).
The team consists of:
Mr. Terrible
Abilities
1.
Weakening Blow
2.
Spiked Skin
3.
Love Potion
Carroteye
Abilities
1.
Ironbark
2.
Aged Yolk
3.
Leech Seed
Sloppus
Abilties
1.
Absorb
2.
Chew
3.
Stench
The team I used:
Leveling Pet (Mr. Terrible can't kill your pet anyways. Also, please don't use a Stun or something that will enhance your next pet's attack)
Sea Pony
Abilities
1.
Tidal Wave
2.
Cleansing Rain
3.
Pump
Any good Dragon Pet (I used
Spawn of Onyxia
for speed purposes)
In under 4 minutes, I was able to down this Terrible Trio and continuously level my other Pets. You don't need the daily to challenge them.
Leveling Pet
Any Basic Attack (Avoid Stuns and other effects) > Swap
Sea Pony
Pump > Cleansing Rain > Tidal Wave (until Carroteye is below 50% and Love Potion has one 1 remaining CD left) > Cleansing Rain > Pump > Pump > *Tidal Wave* (Until Carroteye is dead) > Pump (Suicide)
** At this point, you can wait to kill Carroteye first then kill Mr. Terrible, or just kill Mr. Terrible to make this fight faster.
Note: I had a fortunate enough RNG where Sea Pony just soloed this fight. I don't recommend it since it takes much longer than the promised 4 minutes to complete.
Dragon Pet
Burn remaining pets down.
Note: Due to Sloppus's speed of 206,
Tail Sweep
would not be effective for this fight.

This can be consistently 2-manned with an S/S Zandalari Kneebiter and a P/P Emperor Crab (Snap, Healing Wave, Shell Shield).
The Kneebiter will 3-shot the first opponent with Black Claw, Hunting Party, Bloodfang, typically ending with over 2/3 health.
Swap in the Emperor Crab for the next opponent. He can easily solo the last two. Open with Shell Shield, then Healing Wave. Refresh Shell Shield on CD, and refresh Healing Wave whenever necessary. Snap at other times.
A leveler can be swapped in for one round in during the final opponent, at a time when the Crab has high health and a newly refreshed Shell Shield, and when the opponent will not inflict too much damage. However, it is a tedious fight for leveling on, since the whole encounter takes over 3 minutes.

This is my guide to 2-petting these guys with the most common battle pets possible.
I also made a video guide for those of you that want it;
http://youtu.be/TxnJbduYEpY?list=UU5epd6dSXOQ9BqVSoGnnjoA
Emperor Crab with Surge, Healing Wave and Whirlpool.
Anubasith Idol with Crush, Sandstorm and Deflection
Leveling pet with at least 1 damaging move (UPDATE: You need the move to deal a minor amount of damage. Level 1 pets are too low, but my level 12 pet worked fine. It has to deal enough damage to Carroteye so he casts heal, as opposed to Spiked Skin).
Start with your Leveling pet and cast any damaging spell. Then swap into your Emperor Crab. Cast a Whirlpool and spam Surge until Mr. Terrible is dead.
Now once Carroteye comes out your Emperor Crab will most likely not be able to survive another hit. If he can due to breed/RNG then cast a whirlpool, otherwise, let him die and swap into your Anubasith Idol. Whenever you see him cleanse himself, you know a Leech Seed is coming. Cast Deflection after every cleanse. Aside from that, keep Sandstorm up and spam Crush until Carroteye is dead.
Finally, for Sloppus youll want to cast Deflection whenever he casts feed. This will block the feed damage and the Absorb damage/healing that comes with it. You'll want to do this whenever possible, although you wont be able to block them all. Otherwise, spam Crush and Sandstorm like you did for Carroteye. Alternatively, you can choose to ignore using Sandstorm since Sloppus has an ability that lowers your hit chance by 25% if youd like to avoid the RNG.
Very easy and consistent fight. Did it a few times to confirm there was no luck. If I was able to help feel free to upvote :)

After trying a couple of the strategies posted here, I devised my own, which I found quite a bit faster for leveling than anything else I tried.
These are the pets I used:
1: Aqua Strider: Water Jet/Cleaning Rain/Pump
(a H/S Mirror Strider would also work, although he has better stats for the job, it doesn't change the fight).
2: Spawn of Onyxia: Breath/Healing Flame/Deep Breath
(P/P breed preferred, you could also probably make it work with any other dragonkin with a healing move and a spammable dragonkin attack, Healing Flame is mostly to offset RNG against Sloppus).
Your carry pet can be Lv1, it won't take any damage.
vs Mr. Terrible
start with the Aqua Strider and attack in this order:
Pump > Cleansing Rain > Pump > Pump > Water Jet
If all's according to plan, he'll waste his heal right before you Pump his face, and won't ever use Spiked Skin before he dies, you'll be left with 1 HP left, more than enough.
If he crits you with Weaking Blow, just restart the fight.
vs Carroteye
You should have Pump charged from before, so just unleash it.
You'll die now, so swap in your carry, and then immediately to Onyxia.
do a single Breath attack, and then a Deep Breath, he should die.
Not much to this round, we don't Deep Breath right away because his healing will put him just out of range, and this way we carry the racial to the next one.
vs Sloppus
You should have the dragonkin racial from the previous round, do a single Breath, Healing Flame, then spam Breath until he's dead, use Healing Flame to stay alive if you miss a couple attacks.
Using Deep Breath isn't worth it here, because of his racial he won't take as much damage.
This strategy can take as little as 13 rounds if you don't miss against Sloppus, but if you miss a couple, Healing Flame can make up for it (to a certain degree, if you miss too much, you can die).
Enjoy!

If you can come up with a good 2 man team this is a really nice fight to level pets.
Put your leveling pet in first and no matter what it wont die because the Mr. Terrible cannot kill you unless you hit him while he has his shield up. His only direct damage move will knock you down to 1hp much like your own Terrible Turnip.
I tried this with a level 1 Zandalari Toenibbler using
this 2 man method.
It worked pretty well. Toenibbler took a hit and was left with 1 hp. Switched him out and nothing happened to him as none of the enemy pets have abilities that hit back line pets on your side.
In the end I had my 35% buff (didnt have a 50% treat) and got nearly 3k xp and Toenibbler hit level 9. If you had access to a 50% treat this would be amazing for leveling. Let me know your results if you do. Im working on a quicker 2 man method right now.

A pet with an aoe attack that does damage to backline pets (such as the Pandaren Water Spirit) is awesome here. Mr. Terrible cannot kill you and you can safely use Tidal Wave to kill the backline pets - the Spiked Skin ability will not proc.

A strat similar to my1if34wow's, but killing the veg & slime with only one pet.
小海马
and any two leveling pets.
恐怖先生
is like the
吓人芜菁
and can't kill your carry pets.
Sea Pony's abilities are 2,2,2:
潮汐奔涌
,
净化之雨
&
抽水
抽水
once to give 10% extra damage, then appy
潮汐奔涌
for 25% more.
潮汐奔涌
until
净化之雨
fades and repeat until both backline pets are gone.
大眼萝卜
usually dies by round 11, just as
净化之雨
fades.
斯鲁普斯
will die after two more cycles, somewhere near round 30 and 5:15 into the battle, depending on the RNG.
Wait until
恐怖先生
's
尖刺体肤
has one turn left, cast
净化之雨
, then
抽水
.
Setup
抽水
and, while waiting, swap through your carry pets. If he uses
爱情药水
when you apply Rain, you may have to do a third cycle.
净化之雨
,
抽水
, then
跳舞
.
Upside: Levelling two pets at once (> 1500XP each) without a chance of them dying.
Downside: Takes some time (~ 45 rounds), but odds are you are DPS and have time while waiting in queue for LFG.

For faster pet-leveling in your garrison-
My setup - (used to level pets in my garrison for hours on end, because I have no life):
Any crab, Surge + Healing Wave + Whirlpool (2,2,2)
Nexus Whelpling
, Frost Breath + Mana Surge + Arcane Storm (2,2,2) (Why a Nexus Whelpling? Because he's a fast little bugger and going first each round will help an awful lot on Sloppus. Plus all that arcane stuff is pretty.)
Any leveling pet
Start with your leveling pet, and PASS the first round
. (If you do any damage, you'll throw off Mr. Terrible's script, and while it's not the end of the world the fight will be longer or you won't be able to follow exactly below.)
Swap to your crab.
If Mr. Terrible hits you in the face first, use the following series:
Whirlpool
Healing Wave
Surge
Surge
Whirlpool
Pass
Pass
Healing Wave
Surge
If Mr. Terrible uses his heal first (he's not exactly the brightest turnip in the patch, is he?), use the following series:
Whirlpool
Healing Wave
Surge
Surge
Whirlpool
Surge
Healing Wave
If Mr. Terrible decides to be really annoying and he pops his shield first thing, do the following (ugh, why does he have to be so annoying?):
Whirlpool
Surge
Surge
Surge
Whirlpool
Healing Wave
Surge
Surge
Whirlpool
Pass
Healing Wave
Surge (if needed)
** If Mr. Terrible's script deviates, just remember not to use Surge if your crab only has one health and Mr. Terrible has his spike shield on. Try to go into the fight with Carroteye with more than one health, but if you get unlucky you should still be able to pull it off with the Nexus Whelpling later.
Your crab should (hopefully) have a bit of health left now that Mr. Terrible is out of the way.
Carroteye comes out, and just continue to use Surge until your crab dies.
When your crab is toast, bring out your Nexus Whelpling. Do the following:
Arcane Storm
Mana Surge
Carroteye should die after either the first, second, or third round of Mana Surge.
Once Sloppus comes out, simply Frost Breath until Sloppus is dead (after Mana Surge is finished).
You should be able to sustain a maximum of two misses on Sloppus, so without some really crappy RNG you should be able to win almost every time. This strategy isn't as safe as the tidal-wave-forever strategy, but on the whole it's one heck of a lot faster.

This works relatively consistently however there is some bit of randomness to this strategy involving when the opponent gets "frogged" and potential misses on Sloppus. I tried to cover all the possible scenarios to tell you what to do in the event of some of the randomness.
Chuck
(Balance)
Rip
/
Water Jet
/
Blood in the Water
Infinite Whelpling
(Destruction)
Tail Sweep
/
Healing Flame
/
Early Advantage
Horny Toad
(Balance)
Water Jet
/
Cleansing Rain
/
Frog Kiss
1. Start with Chuck and cast
Rip
.
2. Attack with
Blood in the Water
followed by a
Water Jet
. If Mr.Terrible is still alive, cast another
Water Jet
and kill him.
3. If Chuck is alive, cast
Water Jet
until he'll die from Carroteye's attack.
4. Switch to Horny Toad and cast
Cleansing Rain
.
5. Cast three(3)
Frog Kiss
attacks. If Carroteye gets "frogged" and Sloppus swaps in, then go to step 8.
6. Cast
Cleansing Rain
.
7. Cast
Frog Kiss
. If Carroteye gets "frogged" and Sloppus swaps in, then go to step 8. Otherwise,
Frog Kiss
again and kill Carroteye.
8. Switch to Infinite Whelpling and cast
Early Advantage
.
9. Cast
Tail Sweep
.
10. If Whelp is not at full health, Cast
Healing Flame
otherwise cast another
Tail Sweep
.
11. If Whelp is not at full health, Cast
Healing Flame
otherwise cast
Tail Sweep
continually until Sloppus dies.
12. If Carroeye is still alive, finish him off with a couple more
Tail Sweep
attacks. If Whelpling dies before Carroteye (this can happen if Carroteye gets "frogged" early), follow step 13+ with Toad.
13. Finish off Carroteye with multiple
Frog Kiss
attacks.
Done and done.

This method has been tested by several people and is confirmed as successful.
1x Any pet with
Magma Wave
or
Tidal Wave
(Lava Crab, Tideskipper, etc.)
1x Any pet with pump, surge, etc. (Frog)
1x Any pet
The strategy here is to send out your pet with magma wave or tidal wave to kill the backline pets. Because of Mr. Terrible's Spiked Skin and Weakening Blow combination, he cannot kill your waving pet. The waving damage is less than the mitigated amount from Spiked Skin and
will not
trigger damage. Your pet will stay at 1 hp while knocking out the back line pets.
Once both Sloppus and Carroteye are dead, swap and attack Mr. Terrible with your strong aquatic-damage pet.
Edit: Arcane Explosion also works instead of tidal wave or magma wave.

I used 2 pets for this:
Qiraji Guardling (rare)
- 1(Crush)- 2(Sandstorm)- 2(Blackout Kick)
Eternal Strider (rare)
- 1(Water Jet) -2(Cleansing Rain) -2(Pump)
To be frank, for the Strider's middle ability only depends if you want to use a leveling pet. Any leveling pet with a damaging spell will work, I recommend a pet over level 12.
For the first round VS Mr. Terrible
, I use my leveling pet's ability OR use Cleansing Rain from the Strider.
Switch to the Strider, then cast Pump x 2.
Mr. Terrible should knock your pet to 1 HP, but finish him with a Water Jet and say 'goodnight, sweet Strider'.
Switch to Qiraji Guardling.
I just do the following rotation: Blackout Kick, Sandstorm, Crush until Blackout Kick is off CD, the Blackout Kick-Sandstorm, back to Crushing. That's all there is to it.

Mr. Terrible | Carroteye | Sloppus - Two Pet with Carried Leveling Guide
1. Zandalari Kneebiter - S/S - Hunting Party | Black Claw | Bloodfang
2. Magical Crawdad - H/H - Surge | Renewing Mists | Wish
3. Leveling pet (500+ HP to be safe - level 5+).
Note: Hunting Party is notoriously OP in killing high health/resistant battle pets with the Hunting Party and Black Claw combo, despite being the wrong resist class.
Strats:
Mr. Terrible
1. Bring in leveling pet.
2. Let the pet get hit.
3. Switch out to Zandalari Kneebiter.
4. Slash Mr. Terrible with Black Claw.
5. Run over Mr. Terrible with Hunting Party.
6. If Mr. Terrible isn't the next meal yet (each second stomping to him is around 444 each!), bite him with Bloodfang and also be HEALED!
Carroteye
1. Switch to Magical Crawdad.
2. Cast Renewing Mists.
3. Cast Wish.
4. Switch to Zandalari Kneebiter.
5. Zandalari gets hit twice for switching out/in, losing about 512 or so health.
6. Zandalari is healed with Magical Crawdad's Wish.
7. Gorge Carroteye with Black Claw.
8. Totally run Carroteye over with Hunting Party.
9. If Carroteye isn't an ingredient for tomorrow's soup, bite him with Bloodfang.
Sloppus
1. If Zandalari Kneebiter has enough health (600+ HP), switch to Magical Crawdad.
2. Magical Crawdad casts Renewing Mist.
3. Magical Crawdad casts Wish.
4. Switch to Zandalari Kneebiter.
5. Black Claw and Hunting Party Sloppus.
6. If Zandalari Kneebiter's health is below 500 HP (won't survive), switch to Magical Crawdad.
7. If Sloppus health is above 900 (due to unlucky RNG), expect a long fight with Surge/Renewing Mists/Wish, but he won't die nor the leveling pet.
8. Win!
Now your leveling pet < 20 is two levels higher (level 22+ one level higher).
Enjoy!

If you are looking to level pets on this battle, I have a decent strategy. Using a lvl 25 Peddlefeet and any of the cockroach or beetle pets (Lvl 20 or above). Peddlefeet does at least for me 55 points per hit per pet (110 points) per round using Rapid Fire. Using him use the Rapid Fire move until Sloppus is down to less than 1450hp...swap in your leveling pet, and next round swap in your cockroach or beetle. Cast Apocalypse and then swap back to Peddlefeet. Use Rapid Fire until Sloppus is dead in the back row. Once he is dead swap your cockroach or beetle back in and pass until the Apocalypse goes off. If your Peddlefeet does not do 55 points per hit make sure to figure up how far down you need to get him before your first swap. (14*your damage amount). You will have 1 round left to swap in beetle pet that survives Apocalypse and kills Mr. Terrible. With this strategy it does not matter what breeds you have on your beetle type pets as long as they have the Apocalypse move. Thanks and Good Luck!

Made this fight really easy using Pandaren Water Spirit, Yellow-Bellied Bullfrog (or any frog will do), & had Flayer Youngling as a third but never used.
Just use Geyser, then Whirlpool & spam Water Jet, you'll easily kill Mr. Terrible & get at least 1-2 hits on Carroteye.
Swap to your frog & use Cleansing Rain & spam Frog Kiss, even if Sloppus swaps in you'll have built up a good damage count on Frog Kiss to down them both!
The Flayer Youngling is a good counter to Sloppus' Chew ability in case RNG wants to go against you in the fight.

My no-RNG 100% failproof 2-pet leveling strategy (even works with level 1 pets):
Fox or Wolf (S/B or S/S) with: Bite, Howl, Dazzling Dance
Flayer Youngling with: Blitz, Deflection, Kick
Start with Fox: Dazzling Dance -> Howl -> Bite -> Bite -> Bite
Mr. Terrible is now dead.
Carroteye comes in.
Continue with Fox: Dazzling Dance -> Howl
Fox is now dead
Swap in Flayer Youngling: Kick on every cooldown, Blitz otherwise.
You should have at least 500 health left by the time Sloppus enters.
Swap in your leveling pet as soon as Sloppus enters to soak the no-damage Stench.
Swap back to Flayer Youngling
Whenever Sloppus does Chew, follow it up with Deflection or Kick (whichever isn't on cooldown, with Deflection having higher priority if both are available). Otherwise blitz your way to victory.
I've tried this now 20+ times and it never fails.
Edit 2/20/15: Fox speed

2 x Water Pets
(type; Dancing Water Skimmer/ Mirror Strider/ Eternal Strider-ish)!
1 x Dragon
(someone with heal or block-effect)!
I used;
Dancing Water Skimmer
- Cleansing Rain + Pump
Mirror Strider
- Water Jet (rarely needed) + Pump
Infinite Whelpling
- Sleeping Gas + Healing Flame
The fight goes:
Cleansing Rain
4 x Pump
-new pet
4 x Pump (in rare cases, you might need 1 x Water Jet)
-new pet
Spam Sleeping Gas and use Healing Flame when needed!
-in rare, rare, rare cases, you can risk almost getting one-shotted in the very first round.
Just leave fight and try again! This strat is a very easy walkover!
Good luck <3

An alternative tactic to barric's one, in which you don't need a Humanoid pet, though you will need a carry pet with a stun, sleep or some other form of CC. You can complete this in 20-25 rounds, depending on your crits, or the lack thereof.
I used a level 20
Skywisp Moth
with
Moth Dust
to sleep Mr. Terrible,
Emperor Crab
(H/H breed) to kill Carroteye and Mr. Terrible, and lastly a
Mechanical Pandaren Dragonling
to solo Sloppus.
Have your carry pet out at the beginning of the battle and cast a stun or a sleep on the very first (1) round. If you have a stun/sleep with only a 25% chance to hit and you miss, just forfeit the match and try again. You won't lose much time since it's the very first round, and you only need to hit the stun/sleep once in the fight.
After the stun/sleep, swap to your chosen Aquatic pet with Whirlpool, a self heal and a single good DPS skill.
These include, but are not limited to:
Emperor Crab
,
Magical Crawdad
and
Strand Crawler
.
The enemy "trainer" will also swap pets because Mr. Terrible is in a stun/sleep, resulting in the second round starting with your Aquatic pet vs. Carroteye.
You might want to try your luck with a Whirlpool at the start of round two, it sometimes gets through, but it will most likely get Cleansed by Carroteye, so you might want to just stick with spamming your DPS skill and self heal on every available cooldown.
Assuming you didn't mess around with Whirlpool, you should be able to kill Carroteye at the beginning of the twelfth (12th) round and the enemy "trainer" will swap back to Mr. Terrible.
At this point you will want to cast Whirlpool and then a self heal. If your carry pet's stun/sleep dealt damage at the first round, Mr. Terrible will cast a self heal also, so you'll be starting round fifteen (15) with your Aquatic pet at little over 1k hp, 1 turn left until Whirlpool deals damage and Mr. Terrible at full HP. It should take you three regular hits + Whirlpool's damage to get rid of Mr. Terrible, meaning that you'll defeat him with around 10 remaining HP on your Aquatic pal, assuming a H/H breed, I didn't try it with anything else.
Then just swap to whoever you brought along to kill Sloppus and you're set. I used MPD because it absolutely wrecks them Magic fellers.
The actual button presses will look something like this:
3(Stun/Sleep)
4(Swap to Emperor)
1
1
2
1
1
1
2
1
1
(This should be where Carroteye finally dies and Mr. Terrible re-appears)
3(Whirlpool dat Terrible $%^&*)
2

(Mr. Terrible should die here.)
4(SWAP to MPD)
3(Decoy)

For those of us who don't have all these wonderful and exciting pets, but are stuck with the normal rares, uncommons and what nots, this is for you.
I have tried my hand at most of the suggestions on here, but always kept dying. Even with some help from my loving husband, my pets died before I could finish off the Sloppus. However, after much trial and error, I have come up with a good team.
I used:
23 Mud Jumper - Pump until the Mr. Terrible dies
23 Eternal Strider - Pump until Carroteye dies
25 Fel Flame - Scorch, Conflagrate, and Burn twice and down goes Sloppus.
Of course, the Mud Jumper and Fel Flame were rare and Eternal Strider was Uncommon, but, it is doable without the use of the Pandaren spirit or any of the other pets that have probably consumed time and energy into acquiring in Mists.
Good luck!

In 6.1, Carroteye no longer has Leech Seed, and instead has
流沙
. Doesn't seem to really change the battle a whole lot, though.

One of the daily pet battles that can appear at your garrison menagerie. This daily is a character-level daily, not an account-level daily.

Syd's health has gotten pretty low when I've tried this, but he hasn't died yet. If he does, bring in Untamed to end it and continue as normal when Sloppus comes out. The xp from these fights is pretty low, so really you can just skip to the Untamed Hatchling if you'd prefer.

1. Pandaren Water Spirit: Tidal Wave, Whirlpool, Geyser
2. Pandaren Monk: Takedown, Staggered Steps, Blackout Kick
3. Any / Not Normally Needed - Leveling Pet will only get 90 xp at lvl 5
Start with Pandaren Water Spirit:
-Use Geyser
-Use Whirlpool
-Use Tidal Wave until Whirlpool is available
-Use Whirlpool (If you take unlucky crits and die before this whirlpool you may need to reset the fight to maintain this strategy. Otherwise, you will need to deal damage with your Extra Pet)
After death Use Pandaren Monk:
-Use Blackout Kick (Whirlpool should hit)
-Use Takedown (Carroteye should die here)
Swap to Extra Pet or Leveling Pet:
-Take no damage hit from Sloppus
Swap to Pandaren Monk:
-Use Staggered Steps
-Use Takedown
-Use Blackout Kick
-Use Takedown
-Use Staggered Steps
-Use Takedown until Blackout Kick is available
-Use Blackout Kick
-Use Takedown

6.1 Three-pets fast kill
Since XP in Garrison pole battles is worthless, here is the 3-pets set-up to end this quickly.
锦绣阔步者
with
水流喷射
,
净化之雨
,
抽水
. Any Strider will work; opt for a breed with maximum power, having >276 speed - mine is P/S)
君王蟹
with
汹涌
,
复苏之雾
,
湍流旋涡
. Speed doesn't count as Surge will prevail. Use the max power breed, mine is P/P
Mechanical Pandaren Dragonling
with
吐息
, anything,
Decoy
- Eternal Strider vs Mr. Terrible:
Cleansing Rain - Pump - Pump
. Terrible is dead. If he's not, you're not using a powerful enough breed.
- Eternal Strider vs. Carroteye:
Water Jet - Water Jet
. Launch any attack as third, Strider will die anyway.
- Emperor Crab vs. Carroteye:
Renewing Mist - Whirlpool - Surge
. Carroteye is dead, and you have the Whirlpool ready to proc on Sloppus (yeah, it's weak against him...)
- Emperor Crab vs. Sloppus:
Renewing Mist
. Switch to Mechanical Pandaren Dragonling
- Mechanical Pandaren Dragonling vs. Sloppus:
Decoy - Breath spam
. Considering RNG from Sloppus' Stench, it will take between 2 and 4 Breath to finish it.
If Carroteye doesn't use Cleanse on second round (but he should since Water Jet will hurt him bad) we had an issue, otherwise this strat is working fine and fast.

I just soloed this with a
Giraffe Calf
:
Had an Emperor Crab and Anubisath Idol for backup as other strats suggest, but simply started with:
1.
Tranquility
2.
Head Butt
3.
Hoof
Refreshed Tranquility every 2 rounds, Head Butted every time it came off cool down. Never even got below 1/2 health.

2 waterstriders and a proto-drake makes short work of these trio.
Start with Cleansing rain for the DPS buff then just use pump to one shot the carrots. Once the carrots are dead switch to your proto-drake for the food pet and just blast him away with breath and proto-strike for a easy win.

Mine worked like charm.
- Eternal Strider
(mine was 23lvl rare, and must be faster than Mr. Terrible) 1/2/2
- Pandaren Water Spirit
1/2/1
- Mechanical Pandaren Dragonling
1/2/2
vs. Mr. Terrible
Pump, Cleansing Rain, Pump, should be down. If not, finish him with Water Jet.
vs. Carroteye
Water Jet, Water Jet, your strider goes down. (no use of pump, Carroteye doesn't use cleanse then, so strider dies before releasing it)
Pandaren Water Spirit comes out.
Dive, if didn't kill him, use Water Jet.
vs. Sloppus
You can keep Water Spirit for a while, just to keep Stench (reduces your hit chance by 25%) off your next pet, but I doubt that's necessary.
Mechanical Pandaren Dragonling comes in.
Decoy, Thunderbolt, Breath till it's down.

2 Pet Strategy (patch 6.2.2)

#2
翡翠始祖龙宝宝

#3 Any other pet.

dies.
汹涌

湍流旋涡

治疗波

*Your
君王蟹
might die before the last
汹涌
(depending on RNG) but whirlpool will kill
大眼萝卜
either way.
Swap to
翡翠始祖龙宝宝
翡翠灵气
> then spam
吐息
until
斯鲁普斯
dies.
Keep
翡翠灵气
at all times and heal yourself with
翡翠梦境
if your health goes under 700.
If you want to level a pet, you can do the exact same strategy but start off with the leveling pet and swap it on your first move.

This fight is exceptionally easy with just a pair of frogs. Start off with Cleansing Rain then just spam Frog Kiss. My Mojo generally kills the carrots by himself. After that I use the frog that's active until it dies, still spamming Frog Kiss, then switch to anything that's strong against Magic. I usually just use my Nexus Whelp because it amuses me. I use Tail Sweep to finish it off.

熊猫人水灵
versus
恐怖先生
,
大眼萝卜
and
斯鲁普斯
This fight can be solo'ed with
熊猫人水灵
. (It can also be solo'ed with pets that have an AOE ability)
Let me warn you, this is going to be a
VERY
long fight.
Just spam
潮汐奔涌
until the 2 pets in the back row die, and then finish
恐怖先生
with
湍流旋涡
and
潜水
or
喷泉
.
Don't worry about dying because
恐怖先生
's ability
弱化打击
can
NOT
kill you.
(I dont't consider this cheating because that is a legit ability that the npc uses.)
And very important
: Do not attack when he activates his shield because since 6.2 you take damage when you attack, just pass.
Hope I helped.
Thanx to
xaunpy
for his advice.
Edit:
熔岩蟹
versus
恐怖先生
,
大眼萝卜
and
斯鲁普斯
Tested it with a
熔岩蟹
. Works like a charm ! Just keep
甲壳护盾
up at all times and spam
熔岩波
until the back row dies. Then spam
燃烧
and that's it. Easy peasy. and it lasts about 15 rounds less.

Mr Terrible, Carroteye, & Sloppus

If you can be faster than me, please tell me but be honest and minimizing the RNG, time is calculated from the first spell I used untill the end-animation :)
