As noted on the comments for the other 2 warbringers, some things to consider:
These do not tag share like the new IoT rares do, so be cautious of other people coming to snipe the tag or trying to reset it on you.
Many classes can solo them, it just takes time.
The respawn timer seems to be approximately 40-50 minutes.

These DO NOT have a specific spawn timer, there is one ALWAYS up across the 5 locations UNLESS a mount drops. Then they go on an about 15 to 30 min timer.
We had a large group camped across the 5 locations, as soon as we killed one it popped up in another unless one of the mounts dropped.
I also solo'd these as a brewmaster. I would suspect any self healing tank could too.

Id like to clarify few details about these mobs.
First of all, they spawn at 5 different locations and all 5 of them spawn.

They share those spots with lesser rares but they
ALWAYS
spawn, no matter how many of lesser rares are spawned before.
Warbringers
are the ones youre looking for, they have a chance about 10% to contain your mount and they also contain +1000 reputation tokens to various factions and two kinds of containers, one drops crafting material, the socond one may drop ilv 440 epic gear. Lesser rares are called Warscouts and their drop is the same
except
the mount.
The
respawn time
of Warbringers is 35 minutes to 55 minutes.
The shortest respawn Iv seen was 36minutes and the longest exceeded 50minutes.
Warbringers spawn sitting on Triceratopses of various color and when killed have a chance to drop a mount of that specific color (remains to be confirmed).
There are at least 3 different mounts - Jade, Slate and Amber Direhorn.

While Warscouts are easily soloable, Warbringers are extremely chalenging to solo, especially for non tanks. I recommend you bring two of your friends with you.
Be aware that there are certain "ways" that can be used against you by other players while trying to achieve the kill. Happened to myself that a druid used his taunt several times, pulled the rare so far away that it reseted and his friend taged it afterwards. Also a group of horde players turned pvp on and waited till I accidentaly hit them with non-direct spell and then swoop upon me.
Took me about 8kills to get mine Slate Direhorn but Iv lost many attempts in the process.

I have searched these comments for any insight into how these npcs are tagged and have only found 1 comment reply that confirms the TAG CAN BE STOLEN. I have had several tags stolen while trying to farm these mounts in guild groups. It seems the first hit rule does not always apply, this is very frustrating to me and my guild members, and quite unfair in my opinion. These tags have been stolen in quite spectacular fashion in many cases, particularly mind boggling when someone 20 yds away can manage to get the tag while apparently doing nothing at all but somehow gaining instant aggro and having this npc rush them as soon as it spawns, meanwhile my entire group spams instant attacks that auto target and have obviously gotten the first hit, yet somehow not the tag. If anything like this has happened to you please comment and share, uprating is good too, because I would really like to draw attention to this matter for the benefit of all who feel as cheated as I do.

Soloed it today as a Blood DK with mostly 5.1 Raid Finder gear. Not a hard fight, even though he does hit fairly hard (60k melee). I always interrupted horrific visage, not knowing what it would do. I also popped AMS or Remorseless Winter when he summoned the spirit, as it hits very hard (70-100k shadow melee damage), although the spirit can be kited.
All in all, an easy fight.

Silly me, I didn't realize there were different pages for all the different versions of this guy... so I've pasted my info here from the Jade page:
I just want to say -- please don't be rude about this mob. I just killed him with the help of my friend but while we were still alive and doing well, a warrior (on my same faction) started taunting him away. If people die and you want to give it a go, that's up to you and I don't begrudge that, but if people are still alive and you just come along and start trying to make him reset so YOU can have him.. really jerky move. Let people have their go and wait for the next time.
Edit: I'd like to add this guy is only on a 1-hour-ish respawn timer so there really is no reason to be rude like that.

Solo'd one of these just now as a balance druid. Took Displacer Beast, Renewal, Faerie Swarm, Mighty Bash, Dream of Cenarius. I dont think what lvl 60 one you pick will matter much, but i assume most will go with the default Incarnation pick.
Displacer Beast
: If he gets too close, pretend you're a mage and blink away or blink through him. This is also good if you're too close to him when he's doing a thunder crush and you can't tell which way it's going to go thanks to terrain and/or the bug where the graphic is facing the opposite direction of where the spell actually hits.
Renewal
: You should have this anyway, but if you get feared or something and he smacks you a few times hit this to save yourself asap
Faerie Swarm
: This is really important and imo the best choice, since typhoon has a 30 second cd, the slow from it only lasts for a few seconds, and terrain can cause your typhoon to not hit him. Keep the slow from this on him 100% of the time and between it and the occasional root he shouldn't be able to catch you.
Mighty Bash
: This goes along with Renewal; if you get caught somehow, fear or otherwise, use this in combination with renewal to keep yourself alive and to get away from him. THIS CAN BE PARRIED, so be prepared for it not to work occasionally. May try one sometime with the disorient instead and see how that goes.
Dream of Cenarius
: I feel like this is better than Natures Vigil because most of your dmg is going to be coming from moonfire and sunfire, and the heal return you get from those isn't really all that great. I also dont like Heart of the Wild for this because you shouldn't be getting hit enough to need to pop that and heal yourself. DoC gives you bonus dmg to moonfire and sunfire when you heal and bonus healing when you hit with wrath/starfire/starsurge, starsurge being the key here thanks to instant cast procs from moonfire and sunfire.
You'll want to use Entangling Roots on him when you can so you can get a second or two to stop and do some dmg with wrath/starfire/starsurge for toggling between solar and lunar eclipse to refresh your starfall. I usually throw it on him when he stops to cast something else. Interrupt his fear if you have to with Solar Beam but you should also be staying as far away from him as possible while being in range to dps him b/c at max range he can't hit you with his fear anyway. Kiting one of these and killing it as a moonkin will take FOREVER so be prepared to waste a bit of time if you're going to try this. I haven't tried one yet that summons bugs but I don't think they'll be much of a problem, just root the warbringer and aoe while he's stuck.

FYI, these have recently been hotfixed to be immune to snares, roots and stuns. They just became a whole lot harder to solo.

My friend and i tried to duo one of these mobs tonight on our hunters like we have been doing since the patch, But our pets no longer can taunt them cause of the hotfix, We had to have one of us using Aspect of the Cheetah to outrun it so we could kite it while the other simply had to dps him, its still possible to duo it but still rather hard now.

After a hotfix on 3/18/2013, as a DK tank, I found that these mobs will now keep aggro on whatever entity grabs intial aggro until it is either dead, un-summoned, or has an aggro-dump ability (e.g. - Feign Death). Also, they are definitely immune to Death Grip and Taunt, and their Fear is un-interruptable (but is dispellable).
While I was in-flight, our lock pulled knowing I would arrive and take over tanking. But once I got there, I used Taunt and DG, and I was NOT able to gain aggro from our Warlock's Void Walker until the Warbringer evade-bugged, and reset. Then, we had the Lock summon his Imp to ensure I would maintain aggro - even when I was feared (since I couldn't interrupt the fear anymore). In fact, the way the Warbringer basically feared and "pushed around" the VW, the Warbringer eventually moved to an area that caused him to evade bug. We weren't sure if it was a "leash" effect or simply a terrain bug.
I am not sure if they are immune to stuns and/or snares. However, I can confirm that the beetles they summon are still subject to snares.
I'm guessing, they made them immune to knock-backs, also. I'm sure this was done to prevent the griefing that has been happening to all of us. unfortunately, the griefing could have at least been partially mitigated had Blizzard made these mobs faction-tagged like the Sha of Anger and Galleon.

Soloable as a Brewmaster.
Since the patch they are much harder but still doable.
Here are the abilities and how to handle them:
恐惧面容
: This is no longer interruptable so you will take damage here and it is going to be a pain. Save your guard for this spell, it will soak most of the damage you take and you should be able to recover afterwards.
流星雨
: One of the easier skills to deal with. Don't stand where the meteors land and you'll be fine. They do hit relatively hard, about 100k each. Thankfully horrific visage will not be cast for the duration of this skill.
圣甲虫群
: AoE em down, they don't have much life and they hit for nothing. One or two spinning crane kicks and/or a keg smash will put them down.
雷霆碾压
: Its a cone based spell. Just strafe key to victory. If you are feeling frisky, eat it for vengeance. Zen meditation will save you if you can't get out in time.
复仇之魂
: Another easy one. Just paralyze it. Xuen sometimes likes to attack it.
不稳定的血清
: I have yet to encounter this in the wild.
Preferred Glyphs and Talents
Glyph of Enduring Healing Sphere
Chi Wave
Healing Elixir
Everything else is your own preference. These are nearly mandatory.
Some other tips:
Before the fight throw down three healing spheres. These are your oh *!@# heals in case something goes wrong. You will want to be glyphed for them to last longer as this fight will take around 8 minutes in decent gear.
At the pull, get shuffle up and keep it up. This will keep you from getting destroyed. once you have taken about 10% damage use Chi Wave and Expel Harm. You will most likely use these on CD as the damage is quite heavy.
You will be tempted to use guard to increase your self healing. Don't. This will get you killed if the warbringer has
恐惧面容
. Use it as the warbringer casts the fear for maximum survivability. If the warbringer does not have the fear, use it when healing. It's a massive healing buff while its up.
Since staggering damage does not remove the damage, purify it if you get near 9000 damage per tick. This will trigger
Healing Elixir
when done so try to do it when you are harmed if its up.
It will take a bit to solo and you will die a once or twice getting the hang of it.

Just thought I would say that these CAN still be soloed as of this post date by hunters. This is how I do it as a 502 BM hunter. This is after the hotfix that made Warbringers immune to snares/stuns/taunts, etc.
Pet used:
Spirit Beast
in tanking spec (I would say
Spirit Mend
is almost required for emergencies, keep it on auto-cast!) Tank spec is a must for
Last Stand
.(While active, Mend Pet will heal your pet more!)
Glyphs used:
Glyph of Animal Bond
helps a good bit,
Glyph of Mending
is absolutely necessary. Your third glyph slot is your choice.
Talents used: Anything goes here, but
Spirit Bond
is extremely useful and allows you to recover from mistakes or even hold nearby mobs without having to worry about them killing you.
Put your pet on passive. This will prevent it from trying to attack Vengeful Spirits. Take growl off of auto-cast, I find it creates a strange bug that flips a lot of aggro back on to you. Also, take
Thunderstomp
off auto-cast. Your pet will generate slightly less aggro, but this will also prevent it from pulling Spirits onto itself.
Your main concern here is making sure you keep
Mend Pet
on
at all times
. Do not become lazy with this. It has a 10 second duration, so you will be casting this a lot.
Misdirect
to your pet to start off with and use
Kill Command
to make your pet attack the Warbringer. If you keep your pet on passive, it will continue to attack the Warbringer and NEVER switch targets, even after the Warbringer is dead.
Throughout this encounter, you will need to fight for your pet to keep aggro. Do this by misdirecting often, and
Feign Death
when you can. NEVER feign if a Spirit is up! If your pet happens to die,
Disengage
and immediately begin reviving it. When it is alive again, use Kill Command, Feign Death, and Mend Pet in that order, then resume your rotation. At this point you WILL need to help your pet re-establish aggro.
On to Warbringer abilities!
雷霆碾压
is likely the least threatening ability to you for this entire fight, as long as you don't get hit by it.
圣甲虫群
is a fairly annoying ability to deal with. The scarabs aren't deadly to you, but you should make sure to AoE them down as soon as you can. Avoid using
Multi-Shot
if a Vengeful Spirit is nearby to avoid activating
Beast Cleave
恐惧面容
If the Warbringer you are fighting has this ability, always save Bestial Wrath to break the fear on your pet. If it's on cooldown, use
Readiness
. If that is on cooldown too, you will have to watch your pet's health and activate Last Stand if needed. You will notice your pet takes more damage while feared because it is unable to mitigate the damage.
复仇之魂
can be a very deadly ability if not handled correctly. Two Arcane Shots and the aggro from healing your pet should keep it focused on you. You have to make sure these don't hit your pet at all.
流星雨
is the deadliest ability a Warbringer can have for this solo fight. It's a waste of time and energy to try and maneuver your pet away from all the meteors, so let it eat them. If it's health drops to ~25%, you will want to activate Last Stand.
Item level should not matter too much. Keep in mind though, your ability to heal your pet is dependent on how much health it has, which increases as your health increases, which is mainly dependent on your gear. Good luck with your mount drop! I hope this comment helps you! Also, if you're going to downrate, at least mention WHY so I can improve this comment. ;)

Very easily soloable for a warlock as Destruction. a few tips...
Use GoSup for the void lord, turn off his taunt.
Pick up Soul Link, make sure its always on.
Keep your range so you don't have to worry about the meteors, and always keep RoF on the boss. You want to do this for if he summons a spirit it chases after you instead of meleeing your pet for a crap ton of dmg (they move slow super easy to kite) than just use EmberTap to keep yourself and pet up ...its really easy enjoy the loot fellow locks! As a ilvl 495 Destro lock I average about 70-80k dps and solo these down in a little under 5 min.
NOTE: If he fears your pet make sure your pet attacks him after he's out of the fear, by this I mean don't try to make your pet follow you while he's in the fear to re-posistion, I have found that if your pet goes x amount of time without attack he looses all threat and then its GG to your face as the warbringer runs at you lol. So if reposistioning after a fear make sure your pet breaks out of fear -> Attacks a few a times than move the pet a bit, then stop attack, move and so on.

For those craving warlocks out there this can still be soloed post-cc nerf. The fight is very easy as Destro with good gear but can also be done as Afflic with pretty much any gear. Took me several pulls to get the tac spot on for Afflic but with a little patience and careful usage of Soul Shards its still doable.
Pre-Enounter Tips
1) Use GoSup and Soul Leech Talents.
2) Use Glyph of Demon Training (and Glyph of Curse of Exhaustion as Affliction).
3) Use Voidlord to tank.
Overview
The Warbringer has 21M hp. Each Warbringer will spawn with 4-5 buffs which will each grant him a specific ability. All of these can easily be countered (and the scarab one is very important for Affliction soloing).
Buff Abilites
Thunder Crush: Easiest of all the abilities to deal with. Its a frontal cone that your pet shrugs off so just don't be in front of the Warbringer for you to avoid it.
Meteor Shower: Second easiest of all the abilities. Just a 10 second shower of meteors. Just move from where they are about to land to avoid them.
Horrific Visage: Fear cast on his current target (your Voidlord). Nothing special to worry about, however do be careful that your pet doesn't pull 1) the Warscouts if they're up or 2) the Pterodactyl if its there.
Vengeful Spirit: These hit hard, and when I say hard, I mean freight train hard. 200k+ a hit. You NEED them to aggro onto you so you can kite them (made easier as Affliction using CoEx). If for some reason they get aggro on your Voidlord you have to get him out of there or theres a good chance he'll die. Make sure your Voidlord is on passive and has taunt off before the fight so that when your send him to attack the Warbringer he will stay on him and him alone for the rest of the encounter.
Scarab Swarm: Spawns like 10 scarabs will deal minor melee damage. These are you primary source of Soul Shard regeneration for Affliction. A SoC will take them all to low health, then you can Drain Soul when needed to gain all 4 shards back. If you don't have the scarab ability you can pull surrounding mobs to gain souls that way. As a last resort, you can also simply Drain Soul the Warbringer to gain shards. As Destro, Rain of Fire destroys them all pretty fast.

Keeping your pet alive
The Warbringer hits very hard on your Voidlord. 60k+ normal melee, 120k+ crits.. If you're pet dies its game over. Even if you summon a new one it becomes very difficult for your Voidlord to permanently re-establish aggro due to taunt immunity and you will eventually just be killed by the him. Defeating this encounter is all about Soul Shard management in order to keep your pet alive. As long as you have Soul Shards, you're Voidlord won't die. In general, when your pet reaches about half health you should always Soulburn: Health Funnel regardless of what you're doing. This empowered health funnel instantly heals your pet for 36% of its health (and can crit) and also reduces damage taken by 30% for 10 seconds. You can also use it at any other time you wish to heal your pet. Don't be too conservative when it comes to heals. The majority of your Soul Shards will be going towards Soulburn: Health Funnel so don't waste them pointlessly. You will also need to gain as many Soul Shards throughout the encounter as possible to keep supplies up by Drain Souling scarabs etc.
Damage
Simply put, don't let CoE, UA, Corrup or Agony ever fall off. Even if you're busy dealing with the buff abilities or healing your pet, these DoTs ensure the Warbringer's health is always going down. In terms of priorities however, dealing damage is bottom after ensuring pet survival and dealing with the buff abilities. Keep up the damage and use Dark Soul/ Doomguard on Cooldown and he will eventually die.
Summary
Use Voidlord to tank. Make sure he is on passive and has taunt off when you send him in to avoid him getting aggro on spirits. Always heal him using Soulburn: Health funnel when needed. Don't waste Soul Shards on anything else. When the scarabs spawn, SoC and use Drain Soul to replenish shards. Fel Flame the spirit when it appears and stick a Curse of Exhaustion on it to kite it. Keep DoTs up on Warbringer always and use Malefic Grasp when nothing else to do for more damage. Keep it up and he'll eventually die.

Summary
This fight is exceptionally easy as Destro and good gear. Take the Soul Link talent and use Voidlord to tank. Make sure he is on passive and has taunt off when you send him in to avoid him getting aggro on spirits. Then all you do is use Ember Tap to heal yourself/your pet. Keep Rain of Fire up to get aggro of the spirit and kill the scarabs and simply kite the spirit whilst dpsing.

A very easy strategy for Warlocks solo'ing these guys:
Picking the talent combination of

not only doubles the potency of Soul Leech, but also reduces the spike damage making it almost trivial.
I choice destro as spec for the self heals. Use your Voidlord to tank but make sure to turn his taunt off (

ON, however). This is to prevent the Voidlord from taunting the Vengeful Spirit.
As for rotation, use your basic destro rotation. Make sure to have

up when the Vengeful Spirit spawns, so it goes for you as soon as it's spawned. It is easy to avoid, but it's a hassle to keep moving your pet if he has agro. Because you've disabled your pet taunt, he'll also leave the Spirit alone.
You'll be spending most of your Embers on
. You can use the glyph to increase the healing a bit, but I prefer not to, so I can chain cast it when i'm going low on hp. Have a Healthstone ready when needed.
The fight will take a while but is generally very easy using this tactic. I was able to pull this off pretty easily with itemlevel 498.

can be killed solo by any class. You can easily farm 3 rare mounts and add them to your collection!
To cover all fears you can use:
1) PvP Trinket
2) Cloack of Shadow
3) Smoke Bomb

warlock can still solo them even with the immunity to snare effect; the tact is very simple:
use the voidwalkver as tank, and put a demonic gateway at it's max range; the demonic gateway will reset the aggro, so just use the viod as tank, if he dies summon another one and use the gateway, it will reset the aggro and u can keep dps. with my warlock i pushed around 100k dps and was able to kill them in 3-4 minutes

If you want this mount, and have a couple hours on your hands this way of farming can generate a fairly good amount of kills on Warbringers and will hopefully land you a mount.
Ok, i've farmed over 70-100 of Warbringers using a
CROSS REALM PARTY METHOD
Using an external website, or even your friends list if you know the right people, create a group of 3-5 people of all different realms. When you create a party everyone moves to your realm, AND vice-versa, so you can potentially farm 3-5 Warbringers per single spot on multiple realms
(please note this doesn't guarantee they aren't killed on the other servers)
EXAMPLE:
You want to farm Warbingers, so you create a party of 5 people from different realms to farm them.
Each player flies to the same position in the party. If the current realm Warbingers is dead, then all players would leave party, to be sent back to there realms so they can check if theirs is alive.
If the warbingers is alive on that players realm,
THAT PLAYER MUST BE THE ONE
inviting the party back so that everyone will be on there realm for the kill.
What this does for you, is allows you to potentially kill 20 Warbingers per hour, with each fight lasting a few minutes + Flight time, you can literally
NON-STOP FARM
these guys till you receive your mounts.

There can not be more than 2 people from the same realm. If there are 3 of you from the same realm, it will always transfer the other players to your realm regardless of who is party leader.
NOTE:

IS
shared cross realm, so for those of you who will say that another realms player will be ineligible for the mount if it dropped,

Reins of the Amber Primordial Direhorn is certainly a rare thing.
Keep in mind the mount itself isn't that rare at all but what makes it rare is that 'almost' on all servers (I have farmed five different servers so I think it counts for all servers) is that it doesn't spawn that often.
Warbringers spawn on five different locations: dread wastes, karassang wilds, townlong steppes, jade forest and kun-lai summit if you happen to be on a low populated server (means you got all for yourself) it means that you usually meet 2-5 slate direhorns and 1-2 jade direhorns with the rare spawn of 1-2 amber (this not calculated purely my experience and talking with other players)
I farmed this mount straight for 24 hours with partners to speed up the proces (I say kill all so you might have a chance for a respawn of a amber if you are in the same situation) the point is Amber is the most rare of them all so do not pass this one to other people in those 24 hours of straight farming I've had 4 partners and all my partners gained slate and jade direhorn before I got amber

Reins of the slate primordial direhorn dropped for my groups 6 times out of 35 kills
Reins of the amber primordial direhorn dropped for my groups 1 out of 14 kills (Doesn't spawn often as told)

If you happen to have a low populated server with a lot of amber spawns hit me up on burning steppes EU tupacmakavli we can 2man and trade my spawns for your spawns (I got a lot of jade and slate spawns around)
extra tip for the tokens and bags to drop
after you hit honored with any faction buy the increased by 100% token so instead of gaining 1,1k rep per token you start gaining 2,2k it just speeds up the proces and its usefull if you farm with multiple people.
and the bag is simple never pass the bags there could be stacks of golden lotus in it (usually 60g a piece), sha Crystals, ethereal Crystals or epic gear pieces (level 85-87) or lots of other different herbs
extra tip for farming the mounts
try to bring a lot of different people from different servers bring 2-3 people from different servers to keep drops realistic. Kill the warbringer then divide loot next(don't split up before loot is devided) step is to not move on to the next position but to all leave party and see if anyone got a spawn before if you do that person invites the others if you don't happy hunting to next place!

Buffs will determine which abilities that mob will use in the fight
Buff ==> Ability
Tribal Mask ==> Horrific Visage: AOE Feared for 8 seconds
Horrific visage is a
magic ability
and to counter this you will need to use one of the following abilities: Anti-magic shell, will of the forsaken or descecrated grounds my tip is to use anti-magic shell as much as possible because this has the shortest cooldown so try to use the other two as emergency in case you failed to see the cast
(the last two can be casted during the fear itself magic shell can't)
Scarab Brooch ==> Scarab Swarm: AOEable Scarabs and will despawn if not killed
When the warbringer casts this ability it means that he will spawn a lot of scarabs on the floor do not fear that they will crawl up your skin I can safe you! try to keep all diseases on the warbringer up at all time to create extra damage when the scarabs spawn you simply have to cast blood boil and let the diseases spread from the warbringer to the scarabs this is the only thing you have to do with them they will die from diseases that have been spread so don't worry any more. make sure you spec:
ROLLING BLOOD
to make this possible
Thundering Sigil ==> Thunder Crush: Avoid lightning cloud on the ground
Thunder is straight forward you see blue lightning on the floor and it hits like hell if it touches you. try to run or through the warbringer (if it casts this it will be standing still and not damaging you for the duration of the cast) or try to run out of range i'd say run through because the distance is shorter
If you do get hit by do not stress it's easy to recover as a blood death knight.
Star Map ==> Meteor Shower: Avoid Meteors from the sky
This looks scarier then it is the meteor shower will probably make you run around the map but you can stand still in the same position most of the time. If you do happen to see a meteor coming torwards you simply strave to the left or the right and after it hit the floor move back to old position.
(if you are terrible at the meteor i'd say anti-magic shell can safe your ass as well)
Spirit Charm ==> Vengeful Spirit: Avoid the Spirit as it hits very hard
The spirit is the most dangerous part of the encounter because the warbringer does so many things at the same time and is that huge it is easy to oversee the spirit but your fears agains this spirit are just since it will hit you for about 20% of your hp per second as soon as the warbringer starts to spawn a spirit the plan is to walk away slowly and
chain of ice
the spirit while taking distance from him this safes you a lot of hassel in the proces of the kill.

I attempted this on my Affliction/Destruction 'lock (tried both specs multiple times) and failed repeatedly. My ilvl is around 490.
He hits my Voidlord really, really hard and it's difficult to keep him healed.
Switched to my Guardian Druid (also ~490 ilvl) and got him to 10% before someone in my room distracted me and I died from a Meteor, but otherwise would have done it.
Keeping Savage Defense and Frenzied Regeneration/Cenarion Ward up is key. Save Barkskin and other defensive CDs for Meteors.

Hey all , just wondering if anyone out there horde side on a low pop/dead server wanting to cross realm farm some zandalari warbringers. I play on area 52 competition is pretty high. I'm only interested in the amber/jade mount and bags,so any rep insignias are yours and the slate mount if it drops, and you can roll on the jade and amber if they drop.
I recently met a player who wanted help killing these guys for a mount , so we came to an agreement like the one I propose above. He gets the slate mount if it drops but the other 2 are free rolls, the second day we farmed them he puts it on master looter and just takes the jade mount.... So I just removed him.
Anyways I am a dk and I spank them in blood spec. So if your on a low pop or completely dead server and want to take a crack at these guys inbox me or reply here. Thanks :P

Found these are actually quite easy to solo as a prot warrior if you have enough reasonable gear. I recommend grabbing second wind, and piercing howl, but other talents won't have much impact.
Thunder crush - just strafe or move through him.
Horrific visage - berserker rage is your friend. Just make sure you're saving it for this rather than using it for the enrage proc.
Vengeful spirit - use piercing howl, then move about 20-30 yards, the add should fade before it reaches you.
Meteor storm - the meteors rarely fall within melee range but keep an eye on them just in case.
Scarab swarm - remarkably this ability actually makes the fight a lot easier. All of the adds proc victory rush when killed, so even without second wind carefully timed revenges could allow you to stay topped up for the whole fight.
Lack of scarab swarm makes the warbringer a bit harder/more unforgiving, depending on your gear you may have to use cooldowns if your health drops dangerously low through a string of non avoided hits.

A comment regarding how to separate the mobs (which Warbringer drops which mount). I was looking at eye color until I noticed a much easier feature... chair color:
Amber has a yellow chair
Slate has a red chair
Jade has a green chair.
Much easier than flying up next to them to check their eyes (or guessing in Dread Wastes because everything is colored weird)

This is for all my bm hunters out there. This may sound weird but if your pet gets feared do NOT beastial wrath. The fear keeps your pet out of range and it ends up taking less damage overall ;)
I solo this guy with a 544 ilvl as a bm hunter by spamming mend pet every 2-3 cooldowns. I also have glyph of animal bond+glyph of mending, which at this gear level would be needed otherwise he'd down your pet so fast

Were just soloing one of these as a blood dk, when it was at about 50% a Warscout suddently appeared when i blood boiled. managed to solo the both of them but it was'nt easy, lot of kiting but i got the mount and 5-6k reputation with different factions :P

Probably the hardest part about soloing these guys as a Prot Warrior is that in the 5-10 minutes it takes to kill one you'll usually gather a crowd of people either hitting it once to steal the tag if you die, or people spamming you with invites and demands that you join them so they can have the mount.

LV 90 Non-WOD BM Hunter in full Prideful gear
Got it down to 30% a bunch of times before I figured the fight out. It seems he is immune to Growl, which made this much much harder than it needed to be.
Anyways, the trick is to spec your pet as
Tank
, abilities should be
Dire Beast
,
Spirit Bond
, and
Stampede
along with the
Glyph of Mending
. None of these abilities are in my usual spec so I had to use some tomes.
Pop everything as soon as the fight starts giving your 5 pets and Dire Beast scatter the aggro all over the place for a couple of seconds before you open up with Barrage. From then on, just keep
Mend Pet
up and call in the Dire Beast when CD is over.
Easy peasy, now I can solo them no problem.

With the prepatch for Legion, this NPC and the others like it have become Personal Loot. You can now tag this mob with at least four of your friends, and each of you gets a chance at the mount and other loot. You cannot, however, share the tag with members of the other faction.

I successfully farmed the 3 Warbringer mounts over the last week or so very casually and figured I'd report my results:
I farmed the mounts using class trial characters on RP Realms. I made Druids simply because flight form was faster than mounting but any class works. When you make the class trial skip the intro by walking to the back of the zepplin/airship and mounting the windrider/gryphon. From there you'll be taken to SW or Org, where you'll go take the portal to Dalaran. *At this time select your Warmode setting, I had 2 characters per realm, one with Warmode on, one off. You can have up to 12 class trials and make up to 4 per hour*. From Dalaran take the portal to Shrine, and fly to your first target. I would log out if a warbringer wasnt up in the location and try another server/WM Phase, its not worth flying to all 5 locations just to find none are up. If the first was up I would fly to the next spawn point until I either farmed all 5 or ran into one that wasnt up at which point I'd switch over.
To get all 3 mounts took:
Slate - 45 Kills
Amber - 30 Kills
Jade - 28 Kills
The realms I used were:
Argent Dawn
Blackwater Raiders
Cenarion Circle
Earthen Ring
Steamwheedle Cartel (All US)
Total /played time between all class trials was about 4.5 hours.

In my experience of camping the Warbringers, they always spawn sometime after
Silentstrike Pterrorwing
spawns. Additionally, approximately 30 seconds to a minute before they spawn, the Warbringer will appear on the mini-map as a rare spawn, this gives everyone a chance to prepare to tag it. It is now a global tag, so as long as you damage it, you will get personal loot.
