I was able to beat him with
Minfernal
(reduced aquatic dmg) and
Pterrordax Hatchling
(bonus dmg vs aquatic).
Minfernal skills: Immolate, Immolation and Meteorstrike
Pterrordax Skills: Slicing Wind , Ancient Blessing and Lift-off
I started with Minfernal and Meteor Strike, if No-No was not using the dive attack on the first move i quit the fight and reengaged until he does. He will use his dive attack on cooldown (at least i made that observation) and if you use meteor strike on cooldown aswell you will always escape the dive attack. I used Immolate and Immolation to quickly burn through his block skill. After Minfernal died No-No had about 1,6k HP left.
Since my Pterrordax was faster than No-No (even under 50%) i waited until his dive attack to use my lift-off. Thats about all that was important.
I think this elite pet battle could be a good fight to level pets, since you only need two good pets to win this battle. But i did not try it in the first place so i do not know if this battle gives xp.

Ok, so, I found a rather humorous combination of pets that can be used to defeat ANY Beast of Fable. Here's the jist.
You need to start with a pet that can cast Sunlight (
太阳光
). Cast Sunlight and swap to your next pet.
Your second pet needs to have Life Exchange (
生命交换
). Attack a few times then cast it. Do NOT try to push the damage so low that it gets risky; use it when you hit half health or so.
Finish with any pet that can use Predatory Strike (
掠食之击
). Obviously you want to use this ability whenever the opponent is under 25% health.
----------------------------------
So how does this strategy work? It exploits the insanely high health of the beasts of fable and uses it against them. Sunlight will increase their health and your health by 50%. This means that Life Exchange, which caps out at your max health, can hit 50% harder. Most pets with this ability seem to have 1400 health, which means that with Sunlight, Life Exchange will hit for 2100. The Beasts of Fable have about 4200 health; with Sunlight, that means they'll be down to roughly 2100/6300 (it'll vary a bit from beast to beast). That means if you can do roughly 500 extra damage to the enemy sometime during the fight, they'll be under 25% health and be one-shottable by Predatory Strike, as 1500-1600 health will still be killable by the strike. Note in many cases it also may be possible for the second pet to simply beat the enemy to death on their own; this is just a generic thing.
There are two things you need to watch out for. First, on pets that heal, you'll need to make sure the enemy is low enough, and it'll take a few extra hits. Not a big deal, just be aware of it. It's obviously very essential that the enemy be under 25% when you use Predatory Strike; if they're just a bit high, you'll be in for a harder fight. Second, watch out for pets that Burrow/Dive/BeaverDam/block your attacks in some way. Life Exchange and Predatory Strikes are essential abilities that can't be allowed to miss, so against enemies that have a potential to block these, be careful.
-----------------------------
There are a LOT of options for pets with these abilities, and almost anything will work. However, I like
1) For the first pet, my personal preference is
守护巨龙之魂
(though
吓人芜菁
works, and I'm sure almost everyone will have it). It doesn't matter much, but he can open with Surge of Light for a little bit of free damage, taking some load off my second pet; no other pet with Sunlight has a good, hard-hitting ability that only takes one turn.
2) My preference for the second pet is
虚空精灵龙
or
精龙宝宝
(the same thing, other than perhaps stats). This is probably your most important pet to choose well, since he'll be the only one doing actual combat. Higher health is better if you have the choice.
迷你斩灵者
works as well, but he doesn't really have a good choice for spammable attacks; you need to either use a weak attack or one that locks you into doing nothing else for 3 turns. With the dragons, you can Arcane Blast and then Life Exchange whenever you want. As another minor perk, the dragons will get their +50% damage buff when the target goes under 25% health, giving you an indication they're ready to be hit with Predatory Strike.
3) My preference for the final pet is Miniwing (
迷你鹦鹉
). There are a ton of pets with Predatory Strike, and any will work. However, there's a good chance your Flyer will get hit under 50% health (due to Sunlight) before they can attack and lose his speed buff. Speed is your friend; you don't need to hit hard, you just need to hit before the enemy can Burrow/heal/whatever. Miniwing is EXTREMELY fast, so he should always go first. That being said, there are other fast Flyers too, but this one is just my preference.

I used the

as my first pet. Used the ability
Apocalypse
. The ability killed him when the meteor hit, after 15 rounds. I guess any roach or beetle with the ability would do. The roach must be alive and the pet in play when the meteor hits btw.

Soloable with any type of Moth. Using Slicing Wind, Cocoon Strike and Moth Dust. He'll often use Beaver Dam - don't use any abilities until it's worn off, just pass. Use CS and MD on cool down and you'll get him easy.

I'm not sure if it's a bug, but it seems that his dam is also blocking his own attacks. At least I observed it several times when he used Dive. I didn't use any blocking abilities myself.

I used a team consisting of the Minfernal, Anubisath Idol and Disgusting Oozling
Minfernal got about 1/3 of his health shaved off and probably would have gotten more if I knew the timing of attacks beforehand.
Anubisath Idol provided the Deflection for the second attack of NoNo's dive and almost finished him off.
Disgusting Oozling hit him once and he fell over.

Use
Beaver Dam
to your advantage! Just pass (or heal, buff etc) and let No-No break it itself. It's not a bug, according to the description:
Creates a wooden dam that blocks two attacks.
Both enemy and allied attacks will be blocked

A couple of posts have already highlighted the use of moths to kill - the choice of three strong against aquatic attacks helps.
But to clarify, if anyone is having troubles the key points are:
- take
Cocoon Strike
and something like
Moth Dust
with a chance of stun
- have a pet with more than 291 speed without the flying buff meaning you'll always go first
- use the stun attack on cd (unless the dam is up)
- since you are faster, you'll always see when he goes under water, use cocoon strike then to avoid the hit
- use your basic attack the rest of the time
Majority of the time, I can kill him just using one moth.

As part of the daily, I've beaten him twice, using two dragons and a flyer. But, even though I get the "You Won" banner after the fight, I am not getting credit for the daily quest.
No-No
keeps showing up as incomplete.
Any suggestions, other then pinging a GM?

The best strategy for this Legendary Pet is to turn his own attacks against him.
Early on in the battle, he usually syncs Beaver Dam with his Dive attack- creating the dam, then diving within the next two turns. The idea here is to let him block his own Dive with the dam by passing each turn until he Dives.
This strategy usually works best with a faster pet, so that you can avoid attacking him until he breaks his own dam (slower pets will usually get a hit in the turn he casts the dam, unless you get very lucky and miss, or timed it for a heal/self-buff rather than a hit). I opened on him with a Phoenix Hatchling, whose natural weakness to Aquatic attacks appreciated this stratagem, and whose high base speed and Peck attack made it a surprisingly effective attacker.
Keep in mind that while No-no's actually Diving, your attacks will Miss before they can be Blocked by the dam itself, which can be a saving grace if you DoT'd him before he went under, or if you decide to cast something like Immolation before he comes back up.

Here's the thing...
Not all of us have all these uber pets that can kill this dude in like 4 moves (slight exaggeration - I meant 5). I tried and tried and I cried! (virtual tears of course). I almost had him down by using 2 bunnies and 1 chipmunk (I just needed one more round).
There is, however, a happy ending to this story. After having a little break I came back determined not to move from my chair until I defeated this aquatic monster (don't let his cute looks fool you).
In the end I got him down with a lvl 25
小野兔
(dodge works well here), a lvl 25
高山花栗鼠
(Nut Barrage is a slow but steady DPS machine!) and my ever faithful lvl 25
翡翠始祖龙宝宝
. Emerald presence is very useful.
Once again, I have victory!

I was messing about with combinations for this today and killed him with two pets unexpectedly using the sprite darter hatchling and onyxian whelpling.
Used Moonfire and once he had a big hit on me used life exchange to take him below 50% health. Then swapped to Onyxian Whelpling - carefully avoided dive with lift-off and passed during the dam phase or healed. Used Tail -sweep when I could and must have been lucky to never miss as I killed him with plenty of health left. I had a lvl 25 moth in third position as I find they usually do well against him but didn't need it.

If you have any pet with Lift-Off, it can be used greatly to avoid his dives (he dives, you lift off, his dive misses, you hit him flat in the face) also, always pass when he's got his dam up, makes him waste 2 attacks. Got him with Imperial Eagle Chick and Silky Moth to finish him off (any moth would do)

I used my Sunreaver Micro Sentry with
Call Lightning
and
Fel Immolate
(eating a
Dive
), then switched to a H/S rabbit and used
Stampede
. No-No has a speed of 309 (not the 291 it lists above) and having my rabbit be able to use
Dodge
after No-No submerged probably saved it's life. I had my Nether Faerie Dragon in there just in case, but didn't end up needing him.
Any dot + Call Lightning would work, but it was especially handy to have both on the same pet so I didnt have to use the rounds swapping out. Dive *hurts*.
I really, really hate what they did with the Fabled Beasts. The HP "nerf" is bad enough but so far at least half of them have had a heal as well. Its nearly impossible to DPS them down before heal is off CD again. Honestly Blizz, were you looking to make it so Apocalypse/Survival was the only sure way to down these guys? Cuz if so, you succeeded..... grats.

I just soloed this guy with a
Luyu Moth
. It was a combo of letting his own
dam
block his attacks & using
Cocoon Strike

It was probably RNG on my side, but it can be done.

Though buffed like all Fabled Beast pets in 5.3, No-No is still an Aquatic pet with only Aquatic (offensive) abilities. She has no heals, and her
筑堤
ability is more help to you then to her.
潜水
is dangerous but predictable, though
甩尾拍击
can hit pretty hard.
I find the two Magic pets with Flying abilities to be useful here:
碧玉猫头鹰
and
魔法扫帚
. These two paired with a
黄色飞蛾
(make sure you have the right breed - see my comments
here
) makes a winning team.
Configure as follows:
碧玉猫头鹰
:
切削之风
,
鹰眼
and
离地升空
魔法扫帚
:
猛击
.
沙尘暴
and
旋紧发条
黄色飞蛾
:
空袭
,
茧缚之击
and
飞蛾之尘
Recommended Rotation:
First thing to note: Whenever No-No casts
筑堤
, just pass while she attacks you. Her
筑堤
will cause her hits to miss for two attacks while your CDs tick down. This is ESPECIALLY useful if she casts
潜水
with the dam up because it doesn't count against the dam so you can control whether the dam is still up when she emerges, forcing a miss.
I suggest opening with
魔法扫帚
. Start by casting
旋紧发条
, followed by
沙尘暴
. Once
沙尘暴
is up, repeat with
猛击
until
沙尘暴
is off CD OR you are below 550 health. If either of those happen, recast
沙尘暴
(if up) and follow-up with (or cast)
旋紧发条
.
魔法扫帚
should be close to dead (or dead).
Switch to
黄色飞蛾
and open with
飞蛾之尘
. Follow with
空袭
until No-No dives or
飞蛾之尘
is up. Only use
沙尘暴
if No-No dives and her dam is not up. Use
飞蛾之尘
on CD, then repeat the above until your
黄色飞蛾
is dead.
Bring out your
碧玉猫头鹰
and open with
鹰眼
. Your rotation is: keep
鹰眼
up at all times, use
切削之风
until No-No divies then cast
离地升空
. The idea is to dodge the
潜水
when she emerges. Repeat until Ti'un is dead.

Easy win using three flying pets. Almost entirely solo-able with a chicken.
This is what I generally use-
1.
鸡
- use
切削之风
/
尖鸣
/
群殴
Lead with squawk, then flock, then slicing winds until No-No or the chicken is dead.
2.
沙地海燕
– use
切削之风
/
激素刺激
/
离地升空
If the damage buff from Flock is still up, using Slicing winds right off the bat for max damage. After that, Adrenaline rush if your speed is lower than No-No, otherwise use Slicing winds. Cast Liftoff after he dives to avoid the damage.
3.
兴奋的萤火虫
– use
抓挠
/
茧缚之击
/
炽热毒素
You shouldn't need this third pet, but if you happen to use it, keep glowing toxin up and spam scratch. Use Cocoon Strike immediately after he dives to avoid damage.

Possibly a coincidence, but No-No shares his/her/its name with No-No the Little Seal from a children's book of the same name (
here's
a Youtube video of someone reading it). While it could be intentional (otter is pretty much the closest you can get to "little seal" in Pandaria), there are the facts that a) the book seems to be pretty obscure and b) it deals with child molestation, of all things. Which, in a twisted way, would admittedly kinda fit in with the "animal story that's supposed to teach children valuable lessons" thing, but still.

I had a problem using every strat posted .... so I picked parts from them and came up with a good team all of them are rare quality Dragonbone Hatchling, Effervescent Fly, Silky Moth. I open with EF using the glowing toxin move, followed by cocoon strike (unless he has the dam up I would just use slicing wind or you can pass) then if he has built the dam while your in CS pass or use slicing wind it will have enough force to make his wall of sticks come crumbling down. Next SM (not to be misconstrued with s&m) I open with moth dust follow with CS (again you can pass or use slicing wind) then slicing wind. Next DbH I open with hawk eye followed by lift-off and a slicing wind ftw. You can always repeat or find your own lil nitch in rotations.

5.4 - 3 Pets (possible 2)
As I didn't have the right pets for this fight I had to go creative;
I used:
Pterrodax Hatchling (25)
Brilliant Kaliri (25)
Any Moth (22)
FlyBy till No-No casts his Dive, if he does and you're still 50%+ hp use lift off to dodge his dive and doing a nice 1000+ damage on No-no. keep healing / FlyBy till the hatchling is dead.
Get out the Kaliri and use shriek > nocturnal dawn, I was unlucky and it missed but im sure you can two pet it this way
The moth was just to finish it off, I had to use Cocoon Strike to block his 2nd dive though.
Hope this helped someone

I'm not sure if it's amazing coincidence or if the game cheats. No-no's first move seems to depend entirely on my choice of first move. I use a nether dragon with Life Exchange. If I use Moonfire first, No-No dives. But if I select Arcane Blast, he Tail Slaps. Every time. Now, in a turn based game, opponents are not supposed to know your move until AFTER selecting theirs, so how does the game get to choose its first move based on my choice. Cheating. I can still beat the beaver, but it sure takes some of the fun away.

I have used all the tip on this thread. I even used the Jade Owl/Netherfaeirie/Ashwing moth combo. Even the Jade Owl's high resistance to magic attack (Tail Slap/Dive) makes little difference. Tail slap still hits like a truck and happens more often than before patch 5 point 4. Even the weak attacks CRIT for more than a normal attack. I beat it one time, but I'll pass on any future encounters until the nerf bat makes its way around. A game is suppose to relieve stress. Not add to it...

This guy isn't particularly difficult compared to some of the other Beasts of Fable, but I found an extremely easy and rather humorous way to defeat him with two pets. Any roach/beetle with Apocalypse and Mr. Bigglesworth using Ice Barrier. Apocalypse on turn one, then switch to Bigglesworth and put your barrier up. He'll put up his own Beaver Dam and you can just pass every single turn until your barrier is back up, causing both of your barriers to block 4 of his attacks, one of which being Dive which will account for the 5th turn for your barrier cooldown. Repeat until Apocalypse hits.

Since patch 5.4 many of these strategies do not work. I used a Gilnean Raven (Call Darkness > Nocturnal Strike > Peck), when dead brought out Crow (Nocturnal Strike- because the Raven's Call Darkness should still be up > Alpha Strike (you can use Call Darkness or Nocturnal Strike if necessary) or just Alpha Strike. When he puts up Beaver Dam just "pass" until the dam is no longer visible. Neither his or your attacks will do anything while the dam is present, so no worries about that. My third pet was a leveler.

You can often solo this guy with a
Jade Owl
,
as long as No-no casts Dive as his first move
. If he doesn't, forfeit (bandage if necessary) and restart.
Start with
Lift-Off
, and then use
Slicing Wind
unless Lift-Off has come off CD, in which case you cast it immediately. As long as No-no started with Dive, your Lift-Off will always avoid the damage from Dive, and Slicing Wind is usually enough to take him down.
I keep a fast flyer as backup, 310 speed or faster, e.g. P/S
Polly
, but don't need it that often.

Very easy fight.
Nether Ray Fry, Chrominius + Any
Usually dies using only 2 pets I always take anubish as my third just because hes such a strong high health pet.
Start with Nether Ray Fry, Spam slicing wind until he uses Dam. PASS till Dam is gone then continue with Slicing wind. Nether dies now.
He should be under 1k hp when Nether dies. Now call out Chrominius, Howl then bite then either Surge of Power or bite again to finish him off.
Easy win!
Warning: Do not use HOWL if he dives as you will MISS.
The reason Chrominius will 2 hit the rest of No-NO is due to dragon passive and Howl.
Good Luck :)

Many combinations work but my favorite for No-No is:
Pterrordax Hatchling (Because he's cool)- Apocalypse, then Lift-Off (if he doesn't build a dam), then switch to a Moth. If he builds a dam, switch to a Moth.
Moth- Moth Dust, then Slicing Wind. Try to save Cocoon for No-No's Dive, but use it to survive as long as possible.
Grasslands Cottontail (S,S)- Dodge, Flurry, and use Burrow to survive.
Pass on dam.
Pterrordax has to survive for Apocalypse to kill No-No so he (Pterrordax) cant be the active pet at the time.

Beasts of Fable
The most effective team I've found so far for all of the beasts is
幼年瓦格里
,
克洛玛尼斯
and a backup of your choice. You should finish the fight within about 5-7 rounds. However, try to pick a good backup for each beast in case RNG is not on your side and you need a couple of extra attacks.
Start with your
幼年瓦格里
and cast
厄运诅咒
. Follow up with
暗影鞭笞
and then
邪恶飞升
.
* You may be able to do an extra
暗影鞭笞
but do
NOT
do more than 4 rounds (
厄运诅咒
,
暗影鞭笞
(x2),
邪恶飞升
). If you are killed the round that you do
邪恶飞升
and you have an extra cast use
暗影鞭笞
.
Don't swap your pet out manually as you will lose a turn.
Swap in
克洛玛尼斯
once
幼年瓦格里
is dead. Start off with
嚎叫
. Next use
能量涌动
.
厄运诅咒
will hit with both
嚎叫
and
邪恶飞升
up (either after
嚎叫
or
能量涌动
; doesn't matter). This should kill him, but if not, when
克洛玛尼斯
dies swap in your backup and finish him up. If
克洛玛尼斯
doesn't die after recharging,
撕咬
until either you or the beast is dead before you switch.
Special note about
云游者啼乌
: You will need your backup pet
most
of the time due to the mitigated damage from
甲壳护盾
.
吉尔尼斯渡鸦
is a good choice of backup but any will work; you shouldn't need more than 1-2 extra hits anyway.
** Edited to rephrase for all beasts. **

In-Depth for this battle:
Easiest of all!
Just Moth Dust as first attack and Alpha Strike if that attack isnt available.
Whenever he puts up a beaver dam- wait until he attacks it twice by himself.
After his second attack gets "blocked" by the dam, Moth Dust again.
Usually you win this one with 2 moths.

World of Warcraft, Pandaria Pet Battle Guide.
My fastguide is the notes I have made for myself to get through the dailys in Pandaria a little quicker. The order they follow is the most effecient way to get to all 22 if you look at the world map, starting from the Shrine of Two Moons.
With this guide you should get some nice Pet Battling stuff and make a
few hundred gold and 500 timeless coins on the Pandaria dailys every day.
Some days you get a pet worth (Auction house) appx 500-1500g in addition
to the usual stuff.
This should be all you need to conquer the dailys.
Good luck and happy pet-battling!

If you are like me and not satisfied with strategies that leave you at the mercy of RNG and rely on a certain order No-No uses his skills in, I may have the answer you've been looking for:
Glowflies!
Glowing Toxin
deals HP-based damage and is unaffected by the passive damage reduction, and as such, is highly effective (not just against No-No, but elite pets in general).
My team consists of:
S/S
Shrine Fly
(Slicing Wind, Cocoon Strike, Glowing Toxin)
S/S
Firefly
(Slicing Wind, Cocoon Strike, Glowing Toxin)
...and a reliable finisher (not usually needed, but lets not take any chances), I'm using:
S/S
Crow
(Peck, Call Darkness, Nocturnal Strike)
All pets must be faster than No-No (above 309 speed
without
flying racial).
If you don't have a S/S Firefly, you can just take a second S/S Shrine Fly. The Shrine Fly actually has better stats for this kind of work and is therefore a much better choice. It has
just
enough HP to survive two melee hits from No-No (still dies in two hits if it gets critted or hit by Dive), while the Firefly always dies in two hits. I just have a personal habit of not using duplicates.
Here's how it works:
Dam up?
Yes.
Pass.
No.
Continue to next priority.
Will your active pet die from the next attack?
Yes.
Cocoon Strike > Glowing Toxin > Slicing Wind
No.
Glowing Toxin > Cocoon Strike > Slicing Wind.
And done. I have never lost since I switched to this team. Although I haven't used it for long enough to be 100% sure about it, it's certainly a lot less dependant on RNG than the more popular teams.
Like many others, I went with three moths in the past, until one day my team suffered a crushing defeat. Healed up, went right back into the battle with the exact same team and tactic, and soloed No-No with the first moth without taking any damage.
It was then that I began looking for a team that works even if No-No refuses to build his dam and just comes at you, two-shotting all your pets with simple melee spam. Or if Moth Dust misses a few times.
I'm not sure whether Glowflies are an established strategy by veteran
Pokémon Trainers
Pet Battlers or not, but since I couldn't find anything else on this page, I'd assume it as rather uncommon. I've come up with this idea after trying many different setups, none of which worked as well as I'd want them to.

Three moths, 25 rare, Alpha Strike, Cocoon, Moth Dust.
This !@$!@ Otter does NOT have any set pattern that he plays his attacks in. After a whole expac of yelling & cursing & trying all the strategies here -- well, he won't automatically play his biggest attacks when they come off CD (like all the other legendaries & trainer pets will); he waits & cheats -- the moment you choose your "big" attack, that's when he hauls off with a dive or the dam, and he'll play the tail-swipe at all other times.
So, three moths. All of them faster. Hit with Moth Dust for your very first attack, hold Cocoon in reserve for when he dives, and Alpha Strike the SOB down.
I swear, there has to be a dev or a CS person sitting there with god-mode on for this otter. I wait for the day that Blizz allows us LW's to skin his hide.

My team to defeat No-No was a 25 Oasis Moth (P>S), 23 Amber Moth (P>S) and 23 Ashwing Moth(P^S.) All of which used the same moves, Alpha Strike, Cocoon Strike and Moth Dust.
------------------------------
Notes for this fight: Pass whenever the Civet uses Beaver Dam, use Cocoon Strike whenever he uses Dive. Use Moth Dust whenever it's off C/D and Alpha Strike as a filler. From experience my first moth died, but the second moth defeated it using the same rotation.

This @#$%ing guy is a massive troll. Good luck trying to get a Howl Bomb off on him. It's completely random what abilities he'll use, and more likely than not he'll either Dive or use Beaver Dam the moment you try to apply debuffs on him.
It's extremely annoying to see this being the one pet in the game that actually doesn't stick to a specific set of abilities being used in what order.

Super easy fight if you have Ikky + any damage amplifier and/or % damage equalizer (explode/armageddon/life exchange).
My setup:
Darkmoon Zeppelin: Spam Flyby until you're below 50% or until No-No uses Beaver Dam, whichever comes first. Cast Decoy, spam Flyby to take down the dam, then Explode.
Ikky: Black Claw -> Flock.
RNG can mess you up a bit on occasion, but if you have a backup pet that can dish ~200 damage in the rare event that he's spamming Beaver Dam, you should be able to win pretty much every time.
Jade Owl is a perfect backup pet, seeing as it's the only pet in game that is both tough & strong vs. No-No (not counting the broom, because it's useless).

I beat this guy with a bit of an odd combination of 2 pets. PI tried number of strategies on this page, none of which got me anywhere probably because I didn't have enough S/S pets. Even the moths I did have were lacking in certain skills I needed, and the fly I had just would not survive more than a couple of hits. I tried someone's runt strategy but the runt died quickly because he couldn't get a hit in (even though the person said he was using an H/H runt, I have no idea how he even got a hit in)... finally, I started throwing random combinations of pets at the guy until I found one that worked. So here it is:
Mechanical Pandaren Dragonling
with
Breath
,
Thunderbolt
,
Decoy
Molten Corgi
with
Flamethrower
,
Cauterize
,
Puppies of the Flame
Carry Pet
Both battling pets were S/S which I think was essential.
Swap the carry pet in during any old dam phase, he does not have to o or take damage for it to count.
Other than that it was a lot of
decoy
and
puppies of the flame
, both allowing you to avoid damage completely. During dam (after I had already swapped in the carry pet on a previous dam turn), I would use
Cauterize
to heal up the corgi assuming he had gotten hit at all, which only happened I think once. You'll then be passing a lot on dam so he destroys his own creation.
I would swap the dragonling and the puppy back and forth depending on whose cooldown was up: decoy or puppies of the flame.
Something to keep in mind is that with decoy up, he will attack the decoy first and then his own dam, which was frustrating, so you'll have to play with the best time to put it up like I did.
Ultimately I came away with everyone at full health and one dead No-No. It was a slow burn fight but it certainly worked.

Three crows destroys all four legendary aquatic fights (Skitterer Xi'a, No-No, Ti'un the Wanderer and Dos'Ryga.) The breed of crow really doesn't matter. I have just a regular Crow, Gilnean Crow, and Dread Hatchling. Call Darkness, Nocturnal Strike, and the most powerful hit you have in the #1 slot. My two crows use Alpha Strike and my Dread Hatchling has Peck (because I didn't want to rely on RNG.) The only time it gets dicey is on No-No. He doesn't have an order to his moves and sometimes his Dive + Dam ability can screw you up. However, I have never failed these four fights since I switched to crows (I used to use wasps and poison him to death.)

Moth is the way to success - If you have 2 speeds grab a lvl 1 and get it to lvl 6 in 1 run, just swap when he makes the barrier. It can be repeated - doesnt give loads of xp - is a bit RNG dependent as you need to wait for the barrier - pass if you risk killing it!

If you’re doing this after patch 8.5 then you’re gonna have to talk to Zidormi at Mogu’Shan Palace to time shift the Vale back to before the patch in order for No-No to become visible.

I've been getting pretty angry (I've got temper issues) because I have Rematch and had all these teams made. It seems to me that something changed because I can no longer beat any of these pets with my current teams and have had to rework them which just has me seething.
Anyway...I used this 2 pet strat:
1: Leveling Slot
2:
幼年褐背鹰
(P/S or S/S) (1,2,2)
3:
真菌飞蛾
(H/S or S/S) (2,1,2)
The birds HAVE to have a speed faster than No-No which is 297 for you to get the extra hits from
切削之风
and
空袭
.
离地升空
and
茧缚之击
when you can for dives. Sometimes RNG plays a factor. I hope this helps someone else!

Since no one appears to have provided an update in a while, just a little note to help you avoid time wasted searching.
No-no does not appear (or at least didn't for me) in the current, Battle for Azeroth, version of Vale of Eternal Blossoms. I had to speak to Zidormi (coords: 80.5,32 on the balcony outside the Seat of Knowledge) to view the Vale as it was at the end of Mist of Panderia. That is the only way I could locate No-no.
Hope this helps.

I just used two moths (Amber Moth and Flamering Moth) to kill off No-No. Remember YOU strike first, so are you unsure if No-No uses Dive - PASS your round and use Cocoon Strike if he does. Worked for me three times and made it very easy to kill him with just two pets.

Maybe a nobrainer...But
Talk to mage Zidormi (80.32)and get back to ”old” content for this.
And you find No-No at 11.71
If in BFA content...She’s not there. Need to go ”old” content
