Its health pool got (stealth?) buffed to 9.6M on November 30, 2012, and the enrage timer is now quite tight for a 2 minute fight. You will need about 80-85k dps to get it down. The energy mines swirling around him will respawn if there is 4 or less active mines;
制造不稳定的地雷
- these explode for approximately 90k damage each.
Tips:
As a caster if you have any abilities, glyphs or talents that allow you to cast while moving, i.e.
, this will benefit you greatly in besting this energetic automatron, as stopping to cast heals to cover the damage from the orbs is ill-advised. Also, remember that you can buy very cheap damage boost potions from the vendors
保尔·诺斯
(H) or
奎肯布什
(A) for just a few silvers each; so double pot these fights as much as you can if you find the dps checks just ever so slightly unforgiving. The mines do not explode while he is summoning them, so this can be used to your advantage initially as well as mid-fight.

With his buff on November 30th I'm finding him impossible in my current setup as a ret pally with a 487 item level.
When the fight starts I usually end up eating 2 orbs to give myself a window to DPS in. From there on out it's just about moving 100% of the time to stay within that window. My GOAK seems to pop orbs (...I think?) and I only have time for one burst phase with the 2 minute enrage timer. Not to mention he's constantly attacking me for about 43k per lightning bolt he shoots at me. I have to WoG to stay alive and it kills my DPS. My best run is about 50% give or take before the enrage kicks in. I could probably tweak a few things to make that better of course, but I don't think in my current gear I can hit the 10M HP mark. =/

You need to leave 5 "mines" up or he'll re-summon the others into a full circle again.
Any spell or ability that passes through, or near enough to, a "mine" will cause a detonation that inflicts ~90k
(pre-squish)
.
You cannot just stand in the middle on the boss and think you're going to avoid the mechanic.
Ideally you'd destroy 2 of the "mines" directly next to each other, leaving 5 remaining, and use that window to circle him and slowly chip away at his health. However, presently, at 9.6M
(pre-squish)
it will take sometime and most people who manage to survive the "mines" are still running into the enrage timer.
Just a side note... aren't "mines" under ground typically? I feel like orbs would be a better suited word for these "floating balls." :D(##RESPBREAK##)16##DELIM##Sas148##DELIM##

As a ret pala, I used the t11 prot 4set trick at the start together with a pot and just nuked. Once he finished the cast for the shields I poped bubble and blew about 3 orbs, i then removed the bubble to not miss out on too much damage. When the guardian reached 20 secs left I poped holy avenger, AW, ES and trinket.
Have a look at your HP and only use WoG if you really need to, and try to keep Sacred shield up as much as possible without missing out on DPS globals. You want to pop Divine Protection on cd, with the first one after you remove your divine shield.
Personally i only used WoG once at about 15 % hp and a few secs later Lay on Hands as forberance expired. You should have time for 2 ES, and if you pre potted like me remember to pop that seconds pot together with it.
with 490 ilvl I managed to kill him a few secs after the floor chaught fire in the horde arena.
Sorry for a messy "guide", but I hope it helps!

This guy is now very hard to do with his HP buffed to nearly 9.6M, simply because of the short enrage timer. With just under 2 minutes for the fire to spawn, you will have to down this 9.6M in 120 seconds. That comes down to a whopping 80k DPS on average. While moving non-stop as caster of course.
Doing this solo, meaning without external buffs, is very challenging even around the 490-495 gearlevel. Having a group there for buffs will be a great help, and being a class with BL/Hero/TW/Histeria, and the ability to put debuffs on the boss that are beneficial to your spec, will give you a great leg up compared to others.
Speccing into passive selfhealing (that doesn't require GCD's to activate), and either extremely long cooldowns or cooldowns of just under 2 minutes, as well as cast-while-moving passives, is more than worth it.
Respect to those casters that are not shamans or warlocks that killed it in this state.

This boss is impossible as a Hunter. The damage is unavoidable and ours heals doesn't even cover them, it doesn't even heal half the damage we take. I tried it as Beast Mastery with Spirit Beast for the Spirit Mend and it is no where near enough. Ofcourse I was also using Iron Hawk to reduce the damage. Unless they fix so our pet can be attacked aswell we have no chance of doing it after the stealth buff to his health.

My notes for how I did it as a 491 ilvl BM hunter (post buff):
1) have core hound out, dismiss pet/bloodlust when you get ported in, summon spirit beast
2) prepot
3) stampede at start (glyph stampede if you need more heals, don't glyph stampede and have tallstrider/ravager/wind serpent in your stampede for debuffing otherwise)
4) spirit mend on first explosion, and whenever it's up after
5) didn't bother using deterrence, though other hunters have used it to avoid the mine explosions
6) spirit bond/glyph of spirit bond/healthstone
7) near end of fight, either use master healing pot if you're gonna die, otherwise agi pot
In the end, I took 1.43M damage (3 explosions), did 704K self heals (spirit mend+healthstone), used 2nd agi, did 94K dps and had ~94K health remaining. You need to do about 84K dps or so to beat the enrage. GL to all the other hunters doing this, he was a brick wall compared to the previous brawls.

I beat this as a 484 Destro lock with 4 piece bonus. Kil'jaeden's cunning is a must. This is a VERY TOUGH fight. At 80k DPS the enrage was coming down as I finished.
I was having issues with staying alive long enough for the enrage to even hit, but eventually I figured out a good way to. Use Unending Resolve right before he finishes summoning all his orbs, and clear two right next to each other to form your path. If you can get a resto druid to cast symbiosis on you this is a good time to use regen.
Circle the boss in this path and try to save your heals until you get 30% or less. Use a Voidwalker Shield, Dark Regen, and Healthstone with the increased healing glyph to get back to full and you should be able to stay alive until the end.
Finally I recommend popping your Doomguard somewhere around 45-50% so that it's alive its full duration and alive for the 20% health phase increased damage.

As an affliction warlock, you should...
1) Use a 4000 intellect potion before the pull and at about 25-30% of the boss
2) Take Dark Regeneration, Mortal Coil, Dark Bargain, Grimoire of Sacrifice (Voidwalker) and Kil'jaeden's Cunning
3) Summon Doomguard 60-65 seconds after the pull (so that he has a damage boost at 20%).
4) Use Dark Soul: Misery together with intellect potion closer to the end of fight. Or use it twice if you have a 4/5 tier bonus.
5) Use Dark Bargain 2-4 seconds after Rain of Fire starts, so you will have ~130 seconds to kill the boss (~74000 dps).
6) Have a flask and food buff. Raid buffs.
If you follow this small guide, you will kill the boss with 480+ item lvl.

Here's some Windwalker specific tips:
Talents: Chi Wave, Ascension, Dampen Harm, Xuen. Rest don't matter. Glyphs: Touch of Death, Zen Meditation. Third choice up to you, doesn't really matter. If you NEED more damage, and can live without the healing from Blackout Kick, glyph it. Otherwise, unglyph it. It's a good, stable source of healing.
I've tried using Diffuse Magic instead of Dampen Harm. It's a good idea, in theory, since the mine explosions are Arcane and thus Diffuse Magic works on them. However, I find you get much better mileage out of Dampen Harm. It's personal preference, really.
Build 10 stacks of Tigereye Brew before entering the fight. Prepot (obviously), place 3 Healing Spheres down in the general area. Pop Tigereye Brew and Xuen as soon as he spawns.
Your goal at the start is to get as much standstill time as possible. In order to do that, you're going to want to force 2 resets of the mines. So, as soon as you see a mine explode, hit Touch of Karma. This will block all the damage from the following explosions, and get a nice bunch of extra damage on him. Use Dampen Harm/Diffuse Magic for the second reset.
At this point, you can't force anymore resets. You won't be able to outheal the damage. You need to pop 3 mines and start moving. Use Fortifying Brew for this. Now comes the hard part; maintaining high dps on the move. Even though you need to be moving, you'll still want to try and use Fists of Fury if you can. It's very very high dps, very much worth using on Battletron.
From this point on it's all on you busting out as much dps as possible. Use your second potion together with 10 stacks of Tigereye plus any other procs. Speaking of Tigereye, use it at 10 if possible. If you have things proccing, like enchants or trinkets, time it together with those regardless of stacks (above 5, at the very least). Don't forget to re-use Touch of Karma near the end to squeeze out some extra damage. You can try and force another reset near the end if you need to. If you absolutely need to, use Zen Meditation. Good luck!

484 ilvl Feral, and the best I've gotten him to is ~800k. If you're around this gear level, you'll definitely need raid buffs to beat him, plus some good RNG. If you're below that level, don't get your hopes too high in beating him :(

As a mage, i can confirm that mirrors do not pop the mines. I still can't pull enough dps to kill him before the enrage because so much time is wasted on constant evocates due to the damage he puts out.

Unholy Death Knight, iLvl 482, with Shin'ka, Execution of Dominion but no legendary gem. Both my DPS and my HPS were the minimum necessary to complete the fight, after wiping a dozen times.
Death Siphon was a must for me. I managed to use it 13 times in the fight, for a total of 550k healing. I had to set up a Weak Auras alert indicating that it was available, which was wonderful.
Anti-magic shelled twice, which meant staying alive for a minute without it, which was almost impossible without Death Siphon, and easily accomplished with it. Absorbed 283k of that horrible arcane lightning.
Also had Anti-Magic Zone, but since it's healing is not counted I don't know how much it stopped. Available on a 2-minute cooldown, it was only available once. It was important though.
Of course, Fallen Crusader procs were awesome, I had 11 for the fight, healing for 128k.
Warlock cookie healed for 78k and I doubt I would have lived without it.
1. Open with Army and Brawler's Potion.
2. Build up runic power for death coils as mines are summoned.
3. Once the last mine is summoned, activate AMS and use Death Coils to pop 2 mines. Goal is to still be at full health when the mines are popped.
4. Summon Gargoyle ASAP.
5. Standard rotation while moving.
6. Use Empower Rune Weapon to recharge 4 death runes and Death Siphon when necessary.
7. Death Siphon whenever not at full health (essentially all the time past 20 seconds) and Death Siphon is available.
8. Anti-magic shell as soon as it's available again, bless this spell.
9. Would have used Life Spirits if necessary, but proved not to be. Barely.
10. Soul Reaper saved me from too little DPS.
Healed 8900 HPS all things considered, and did 82,460 DPS.
The fires were moving to claim me just as the boss went down
. Was at 10-20% health, Death Siphoning on fumes.

Death Siphon and AMZ so you can "tank".
Prepot, Army + Ghoul + All Cds.
Popup AMS so you can explode 3 orbs, after that popup AMZ, then Icebound. (While doing this, keep using Death Siphon so you can have enough hp until your next AMS.
My stats:
83.306,6DPS
9.608,2HPS

I have got to this point with a 475 Item Level, and I can confirm that this really is a brick wall.. I simply cannot pull the required DPS with my current gear. So a word of advice for people in a similar position, do not torment yourselves and finish it when you're suitably geared!

For anyone having trouble as an Unholy Death knight This is how i fight:
Start the fight only blowing 2 of the 8 bombs! Blow them with your Anti magic shell
Army then the usual rotations, use a Master Healing Potion around 25%, keep dpsing, use Death Pact at 20-25% then get smashing him down... then you will hope your Anti magic shell is up and use that and blow the bomb to get 100 runic, Lichborn and heal yourself to 100% hp, just make sure he is left with 5 Bombs or your healing was wasted.

Finished this as a Ret Pally (finally) after shuffling some talents and glyphs around. Here are some tips that helped me complete it:
Talents
Speed of Light
: With the speed that the orbs rotate, I found that Long Arm of the Law and Pursuit of Justice were screwing me. It was much easier to take this talent and just not use it so I could worry about not charging into the orb in front of me.
Eternal Flame
: Thought about this one for awhile. I knew I would be pushing as much DPS out as I could and didn't want to waste time using Word of Glory. When the fight started and I popped my cooldowns, this benefited from all the extra AP and gave me a great 30 second HoT (ticked for about 10-11k). This outweighed Sacred Shield based on the fight mechanics imo and was ages ahead of Selfless Healer.
Holy Avenger
: I don't have my 4 piece bonus so I went with this talent for the extra burst in the beginning. If you have your 4 piece then Sanctified Wrath might work if you time it correctly so you can get two Avenging Wrath uses, but you'll have to pop it before the boss spawns to get the CD rolling and neither time will run full duration.
Holy Prism
: I chose this over Execution Sentence because I could use it 6 times during the fight for a heal and still do some damage to Battletron. Coupled with Eternal Flame and Divine Protection, I only needed to cast one additional Eternal Flame before the buff expired during the fight. This and flame were enough to keep me comfortable where I could focus on DPS.
Glyphs
I went with Templar's Verdict and Avenging Wrath (for the extra bonus healing). The third glyph spot isn't really important as there isn't really any clear choice that would have given me an advantage in the fight.
The Fight Itself
As soon as Battletron Spawned, I moved to the 3 o'clock position (based on the direction you're facing him when you spawn in). The reason for this is he spawns an extra crystal on top of the first one in the 6 o'clock position, and if you pop it you take double the damage. No benefit in that! I also immediately popped a strength potion before entering combat. Guardian was next, followed by Avenging Wrath and Holy Avenger 10 seconds later (so they benefited fully from the guardian's buff). At about this time, all of the crystals have spawned so I pop Devotion Aura and Divine Protection to mitigate as much damage as possible when popping 3 crystals to give myself a window to DPS him in.
Once the 3-4 crystals have popped, I use Eternal Flame on myself to get the HoT rolling and heal up the crystal damage. From here on out, I used Holy Prism on cooldown and popped a health stone when I was at about 60% health and refreshed Eternal Flame at least once per 30 seconds (don't be scared to use an extra one if it gets sticky). At the halfway mark of the enrage timer, my potion cooldown had finished so I repop it - this is also a good time to refresh your Eternal Flame since you have the added benefit from your strength potion.
When the boss reaches about 25% and I'm pretty low on health, I pop Lay on Hands and just said to hell with healing from there on out. I focused on pure damage and finished the fight right as the rain of fire was starting.
One more tip I can pass along to melee: Make sure you are directly facing him as much as possible and stay as close as you can. When running with the crystals it's easy to accidentally face a few degrees in the wrong direction or skew off to where your special attacks will land but your auto attacks will not. You need to make sure you're autoattacking at all times!
Best of luck!
iLvL 489 - 83.5k DPS (hadn't been this high for this fight until I started using this strategy where I didn't have to heal myself as much)

How I did this as a Windwalker Monk.
Pre-Fight:
Prepare 10 stacks of Tigereye (You can use the training dummies in SW to speed this up)
Agi Buffs from flask and food
Brawler's Agi Pot
Healthstones and Party Buffs if you can
Glyph ToD and BoK.
Get Chi Wave
Fight:
When Battletron appears, immediately use tigereye, your agi pot and w/e other dps cooldowns you have (trinkets etc.)
You can pop Xuen whenever... he doesn't detonate mines.
Use FoF on cooldown! FoF will make
significant
difference in your dps for this fight.
You can cast FoF fully and not detonate any mines
so imo, there's no need to force a restart on the mines to gain more standstill time. When FoF is up, just move to the left edge of the opening and cast it. Don't panic if the mines catch up to you, just run back to the middle of the opening once FoF is over.
Use Energizing Brew on cooldown. You want to spam RSK, BOK and Chi Wave when you pop energizing brew to build up tigereye again. Use tigereye at 10 stacks again.
Use Expel Harm and Chi Wave to keep yourself alive. Try to stay above 50k hp at all times. Healthstone if necessary.
When ToK is up again, i suggest using it and breaking as many mines remaining as possible.
ToK can add 750-800k dmg during this fight
. When he resummons the mines again, you can use diffuse magic to absorb some dmg while you create another opening.
Towards the end of the fight (last 20 seconds or so), pop whatever stacks of tigereye you have left for a final dps push.
Use fortifying brew to increase your max hp and spam your ToD button!
Hope this helps! Good luck!

Battletron with 9.6mil hp
I was retri with ilvl 491 and with full raid buff i had 10111 dps, haste 8238, i had no real problem taking battletron down. i can probably be done with less dps.
i did not pop potion before i entered arena.
Glyphs: Avenging wrath heals you, mass exorsicm 25% more dmg form it, and templars verdict to reduce dmg taken.
i made my character walk instead of running, which meant i went around in the same speed as the orbs. and i walked sideways all the time while turning.

Currently, as a ilvl 497 Boomkin, with cloak of shadows from a rogue, this seems impossible.
If you're a fellow boomkin reading this and looking for tips, here is my only tip. Give up, and save your gold. Unless you can wrangle a full set of buffs, a flask, 250+ stat food, and symbiosis on a rogue, you will not beat this guy in 5.1. 5.2 isn't too likely either, but you can try. Plan for T16 raid finder gear before trying this solo.
I hate to be negative, but I just spent nearly an hour, and got him to 10% once, 1-2% once, and the majority of times died around 30% because I was eating too many orbs in an attempt to meet the enrage timer.

Pro-tip for DKs:
While the boss is summoning the mines, he isn't damaging you and the mines don't explode on you. So if you absorb 3 mines with AMS at the beginning of the fight, you can pop it again on a 4th mine to make him re-summon the mines, giving you another 7 seconds or so of zero damage to finish him off.
Just killed as a 2h Frost DK. ilvl 492. No raid buffs, lock cookies, spec'd into lichborne and death pact. I was struggling with healing and this let me kill him when I was at 5% health.

Just did this as arms Ilvl 489. Trinkets were relic of xuen(upgraded 2/2) and Brutal talisman of the shado pan assault.
Second wind an absolute must, and avatar for the tremendous burst is recommended(only tried once with bloodbath so dont know how well it works)Also if you don't have a macro that pops all your dmg cd's at once, make one, every fraction of a second you can cut down not having to hit them seperately will help. You'll also want to grab a couple brawler str pots for prepotting and using during the fight.
The second he spawns charge him, hit your mega cd button and go crazy. use these few seconds to your advantage, as the mines will not explode while he is summoning them at the beginning.
Now the crucial part, as soon as he's got a full ring of mines up pop Die by the sword and carefully explode 3 mines in a line to give yourself a nice little space to dps him. This will leave your health EXTREMELY low but shouldn't kill you if you've got enough stamina. now pop rallying cry to cover the next few seconds and buff second wind slightly. This should put your health in a spot where you can just eat his laser blasts the whole fight and second wind will heal the damage faster than he can put it out. The reason this is crucial is because a badly timed "zot!" will kill you here(happened to me several times) if that happens just get up and try again.
Once your safely past this point, all you have to do is beat the enrage while keeping up with the gap in the mines and you'll get him. The tremendous burst you put out in the beginning should make up for less than optimal dps as a result of constantly moving. Just focus on your rotation and moving, yes your hp will drop to alarmingly low levels after each Zot but second wind won't let you die, so it's better to just not even look at your health if your someone who starts to panic when it's low. Recount had me at 85k for the fight, and i actually had about 10 seconds at the end were i was being very careful and not doing much dmg, so less is probably fine too.
Hope this helps someone who was ****blocked by this guy for a week like I was. The good news is that the next fight is an absolute joke so once you beat this your basically rank 8 already.

Acetylcholine
After a few tries, managed to down Battletron (finally!). My ilvl was 485 and Recount had me at about 85k DPS during my successful kill attempt. Don't ask me why or how it was that high when my previous attempts were closer to 73k. My only buffs were Battle Shout, Mark of the Wild (+% stats), and +10% Stamina. I also had strength food and a flask, as well as a Healthstone.
My talents were:
Double Time (not really relevant)
Second Wind (essential)
Disrupting Shout (not relevant)
Dragon Roar (high DPS attack)
Mass Spell Reflection (unsure if it reflects the laser beam)
Avatar (essential)
I followed Bahthalend's strategy above, of pre-potting and immediately popping DPS cooldowns as Battletron is summoning his mines. (A macro to trigger Berserker Rage, Avatar, Recklessness, and Battle Standard all at once is essential.) Once the mines are summoned, I used Die by the Sword and soaked two mines. (I went with two because I was afraid that the third would kill me or I might make a mistake later on.) In any case, I used that little opening to continue to DPS Battletron until he died. That's all there is to it. It's a DPS race. On my kill, I had a handful of seconds left before the enrage, probably under 10 seconds. I didn't check specifically because I was too giddy from my kill.
While it sounds simple, I did learn a few tricks. First, you should stay close to Battletron, but not too close. You don't want to be too far from him while you circle because that will cut your DPS down, but you don't want to be so close that you accidentally trigger the mines on the other side of him (or to your sides). That happened to me once or twice, and it was frustrating.
Secondly, I would suggest not worrying about your HP too much. Second Wind will keep you alive, provided you don't trigger any extra mines. You can use Rallying Cry to boost your Second Wind healing a little bit. Focus entirely on maximizing your DPS, and only drink a potion if you can spare the half-second it takes to click/press your hotkey.
Thirdly, do not panic when/if you get him to <20% and you're about to hit the enrage timer. Keep your cool, follow your rotation because you still need to dance around him and you still need to pump out the DPS. If you panic, you might mess something up and wipe at <5%. (It happened to me.)
Finally, and lastly, if you find that you still can't beat the enrage timer, I recommend gearing up a little more. I originally attempted Battletron at ilvl 481, and was surprised at how much of a difference 4 item levels could make. So, do spend some Valor and upgrade your gear. (Remember, you can always buy Valor gear and then refund it within 2 hours of purchase after you kill Battletron -- or give up.)
I hope this helps. Good luck! The final boss is a piece of cake. :)

Pro tip for Windwalker Monks:
As already mentioned, you should build up 20 stacks of Tigereye Brew outside at the training dummies before attempting Battletron. However, this doesn't work if there are many people queued as the 2min timer will expire long before it's your turn.
Here's what you do: While waiting for your fight, you simply use Expel Harm on cooldown to build chi. As soon as you have only a few seconds left before your Tigereye Brew stacks expire, you use Fists of Fury to refresh them. FoF don't require a target and thus you can use them any time you want to refresh your stacks. Of course this trick can be used on all Brawler's Guild bosses to significantly boost your damage.

*!@#$ of a fight as a Survival hunter, even with extremely good gear. The self-healing is just so very low compared to his constant dmg output (which will hit you and not the pet, regardless or threat levels).
What I found to finally work for me was this: Because the enrage was a non-issue, I could FD 1-2 times during the fight and let Spirit Bond heal me up a fair amount (plus let pot cooldown tick away). When you're FD'd, he will stop attacking you with that constant damage.
Going as MM or BM for the increased self-healing should be superior if you can play either of the specs.

Beat this as Blood DK in 5.2 with ilvl 510 without any buffs.
Just standstill and let mines to hit you to build up vengeance. Had 90k dps at the end.

Just downed him with about half a second to spare as a DW Frost DK. 2 510 weaps. 497ilvl. My trinkets were garbage. Specced for death siphon and AMZ. Started by popping everything and using AMS. Made him summon more. Then ate a few dpsed for a bit.Dropped AMZ and made him resummon. Then battled it out until AMS was back up and made him resummon again. Ate one or two and just went for it. Barely pulled it out.
Literally about a half second before the fire hit me. Glad its over haha, brutal fight.

As a hunter this boss proved to be the by far hardest boss at rank 7 due to high amount of self healing.
I tried out a lot of different strategies.
The first i tried was going BM and focusing on staying alive. I tried doing this with glyphing stampede and thereby having 5 spiritbeast. I also used glyph of liberation - but i still couldnt stay alive. My dps was about 82 k with this strategy. ( I ofc strafed around - and only blew up two crystals)
After that i tried MM for the 7 heal from Chimera together with glyph of (10 percentage extra healing something something) - This didnt work for me.
So i went back to the first strategy - but instead i focussed on dmg.
So what worked for me was:
Use flask food etc. Got in a buff group. Pre potted and used ancient hysteria - dismissed pet and then called on Skoll.
Instead of focussing on staying alive i focussed upon burning him down as quickly as possible. I blew up 2 crystals, strafed around trying to make all the dmg i could. When i was low i popped stampede together with macroed spirit mend. Then i just stood still firing all i could blowing up too many crystals so he had to re-summon them - and before he had finished he was dead.
Took me 16 tries way more than the second hardest boss GG Eng. which took about 8 tries.
To use the above mentioned strategy i recommend having above 500 i lvl.
- With the nerf of Stampede on the 12th of June 2013. the glyphed heal from stampede does not work anymore - and it would probably be very hard to meet the self heal req.
People in very good gear might wanna try going MM instead for 7% heal from Chimera.

As a mage, i've had to try quite a few strategies, before stumbling on the one that worked. This is for 5.3, done at 508 ilvl.
Fire (Ice Barrier / Cauterize / Living Bomb / Incanter's Ward), glyphed Evocation
Phase 1: Burst
Pre-cast Ice Barrier before entering arena. Don't forget a pre-pot. As he spawns, cast bomb and images, time warp and zerg as much as possible, try to get combustion to at least 30k. Stop zerging when he finishes summoning the bombs. Use alter time, and then scorch as many bombs as possible, moving counter-clockwise so that he'll start a resummon. Alter time should heal you to full. Barrier again, Incanter's Ward, and detonate 1-2 bombs, so that you'll have a gap, through which you'll do the rest of the damage.
Phase 2: Stay alive
Move with the gap casting Scorch, re-applying the bomb and pyroblasting. Its very important to recast Ice Barrier and Incanter's Ward. Also use Evocation for self-healing when <20% hp. If your damage isn't high enough, you'll cauterize, cancel it with the Block and finish him off

Found this guy incredibly hard on my 2H Frost DK, even with good gear. Problem is that once AMS is down, you take massive damage that is hard to heal back because you need your frost and unholy runes for obliterates so that you don't run into the enrage timer. because of this it is hard to get a balance of DPS and healing from them. After much changing of talents and some reforging etc, I finally beat him using unholy blight, Anti-magic zone, conversion, runic empowerment, and remorseless winter, although I didn't have to use the last one. as soon as the fight starts use all of your cds, pillar of frost, army of the dead, raise dead, brawler's potion of might, everything, and then hit him as hard as you can. watch his casting though and as soon as the channel that gets the mines out is complete, you'll need to use your AMS. you can then destroy 2-3 mines and keep rotating around him. after soaking up some ZOTS, use the RP that you gained from AMS to empower conversion, which should help to keep you alive for a while. In this fight, I had him down to about 2mil life when i made a mistake and popped another mine, causing him to get them all back out again. luckily by this time AMS was off cd (I had already used AMZ) and so i used that again to pop some more mines, which was helpful in the fact that i could then activate conversion properly again. through this I had about 97k DPS, and beat the enrage timer easily. Only annoying thing is that now I've beaten this guy I've moved onto Hexos who is about 1000times harder...

Elemental Shaman Guide:
Don't bother with totems for this fight, they're likely going to hinder more than help. As he spawns, start dpsing with your heavy spells(Ascend if you want now, makes life easier). Once he starts crapping out purple orbs, they push in a line to his left and circle him. By stepping to his right you can dps him for an extra three seconds or so before he's completely encircled. Throw a lightning bolt or two and clear 2 shield charges next to one another. Move almost into melee and rotate with him while casting Spiritwalkers' grace and your heavy spells, or lightning bolt as filler. When a heavy spell comes up(LvB or EB), strafe ahead of the opening and let loose.
As long as you time it so your spells go through his opening, you should be fine. The first two spells used to open his shield will do a fair bit of damage. You can drop Healing rains (Centered on him) and your HST, or just pop your healing CD. I had to use HR/HST twice in this fight, but the secret is moving like you're a melee fighter.

BM Hunter - 517 ilevel - 27 July 2013 kill
Actually this was a pretty easy fight with my ilevel, compared to the frustration of Dark Summoner. Took 2 tries, my DPS at 103k
First, pop Heroism with Core hound then dismissed him
Used Spirit beast
Pre-pot and stampede at start
Strafe in circle when you have a gap of 2 mines
Used 1 health pot
It really is a gear check and nothing else. I do feel bad for those classes that need to hard-cast...

Just did this guy at 492 iLevel as a Fury Warrior. Not quite the lowest, I know, but no 530 average either. Here's how it went. Many thanks to Bahthalend and Acetylcholine for their helpful posts.
Started trying him at about the 470s after Summoner. With almost 10M health in 2 minutes coupled with his mines, it's quite the DPS challenge to do your damage and move constantly.
Had some close attempts with a full buff group giving me all the regular raid buffs but ironically in the end, did it alone with only pots, Second Wind, my Skull Banner etc. Ironically, I did go back and buy some Drums of Forgotten Kings, which, when doing these at the wee hours of the morning without a buff group, is a surprising help!
But yeah since I'm skirting the minimum Ilevel and DPS for a warrior IMO, check with your gear optimizer of choice and be sure everything is gemed, enchanted, reforged and the trinkets or things that'd give you the best damage are upgraded. For example, I worked to get the Shado-Pan Brutual trinket which gave a HUGE bonus to Strength for that fight.
The biggest things which may not seem like a big deal for Battletron are surprising. Now with my eyesight, I'm a clicker, I'll admit that. One would think that taking a couple seconds to look down, move to another ability, or to stop and click around on your action bars doesn't take too much time (and it doesn't). But those two seconds here, two seconds there do add up if you have a lot of enrage-based abilities come up at once.
Best things I can explain from my attempts:
1. Make an ability keybind macro. The precious few seconds you save is worth it.
2. Relocate all your triggered abilities (Raging Blow etc.) to numbers or key presses that you can easily reach and that do not take as time to execute. Mine had been more toward the center of the action bar next to my bigger CDs naturally, but all that clicking around again takes time.
I started with pre-pot, Drums, Heroic Shout, my 2-min Mana CD for extra rage. Charged in, and hit a keybind macro for Berserker Rage, Skull Banner, Recklessness, Colossus Smash, Daelo's Final Words, Avater, Dragon Roar - in that order - and you gain very valuable DPS time to have tons of Enrage-based attacks appear (usually) to slam the boss. Hit Die by The Sword and popped three mines once they came back around the Battletron.
Then it's just a matter of keeping your movements up always facing the boss, being sure to use your second pot at about one minute in, Dragon Roar, Daelo's Final Words at the minute thirty mark (or whenever it lines up with your Colossus Smash and potion), and start managing what leftover rage you have for Executes.
For me, I had him at 20% right before the fires started so yes, it's going to be very close more often than not. If Second Wind lets you soak a final mine by the end so you can let him recycle the mines for the last ten seconds, that's also a possibility if you're really cutting it down to seconds and don't want to move toward the fire at the end.
Especially at below 500 Ilevel for the most part (or for me at least) it's still a few dozen tries as your procs and ability-based secondary attacks, not to mention damage, are very RNG dependant. Gotta get lucky but these tips kept allowing me to get to the 1-2M HP or less area (where Execute is up).
Hope this helps for anyone else stuck.

I'm coming a bit late to the Brawler's Guild, but I just finished this fight as a boomkin. Side note, my normal ilevel is 537, but I apparently had my SW transport cape equipped, so my equipped ilevel for this fight was 499 (fail).
Anyway, I tried many times trying to do this fight the "right" way, standing in the gap and running around and I couldn't sustain quite enough dps and/or heals that way to beat this guy.
A fellow guildmember (shadowpriest) said she basically just stood in a corner and brute forced it with high dps and self-heals. I tried it her way and won.
Here are my tips:
Buffs: Flask, Mogu Fish Stew food buff, whatever other buffs you can get (I didn't have anything else). I did bring a 3 stack of healthstones.
Talents: Tier 2, I took Nature's Swiftness, but Renewal would probably be a solid choice too. Tier 4 I have Incarnation. Tier 6 I have Nature's Vigil.
Strat: Start the fight one cast out of lunar eclipse (as usual). Run to a corner when you get put in the arena. Pre-pot before the boss comes active, start with your regular rotation. Try to maximize your dps and self-heals with Nature's Vigil (I popped it together with Incarnation when I hit solar eclipse, and it got me to full and kept me healed while it was active). Try to keep rejuve ticking. Watch your health, when you dip to half, hit a healthstone, healing pot or NS/HT or Renewal (whichever you chose).
IMPORTANT NOTE: Starfall seems to set the mines off faster than anything else, so try to only cast it during his channeled "summon mines" ability as it won't kill the mines/damage you if it's going during that phase. Don't give in to the instinct to hit starfall the second it comes off CD (hard habit to break).
I pushed about 126k dps over a fight that lasted between 60 and 90 seconds (I got the 1 min to berserk timer, but he died before the next warning). I also did about 1.4 mil in self heals in that time (60% of that was from the single time I was able to cast Nature's Vigil).
Good luck :)

Just finished this as a DK in Blood spec. I tried in Frost and Unholy and found my rotation all spastic as I wasn't used to weaving DS into my rotation to stay alive.
Average iLevel is 508, DPS gear in Blood.
I didn't have a raid or anything to get all the buffs from, so I used the +6% scroll of fortitude, a flask of winter's bite and a +250 strength food buff.
The fight itself is very difficult, if my skill were better as DPS then it would be a walk in the park, but as a tank it was so incredibly tight I ended up dying right after Battletron, but it worked, here's how:
Have *all* CDs available: Army, Raise Dead, DRW, Empower RW and anything else you can do. As soon as you zone into the arena pop Army, as soon as that's finished put down a D&D, follow by Raise Dead, target the mob, use Outbreak to get diseases up, spam HS a few times to get enough RP to use DRW. At this time the Army should be beating on him and he should be summoning mines, use AMS, stand there to absorb some mines and make a hole. Once the hole is made start walking around him while in the hole and go through your rotation. Watch VERY carefully for DRW to come back up, it has a 1.5m CD - when it becomes available you need to have him down to 2 million hp. Pop Empower RW, DRW and AMS, go to town on him and with a LOT of luck you'll win. I tried this somewhere around 3 dozen times, easily the hardest fight I've done.

As a full Tyrannical Arms Warrior the only difficult part of this fight is having enough dps to take him down before enrage timer. Dodging the orbs (Once I have destroyed 2-3) Is extremely easy, but my dps is just not enough to beat the enrage timer (It's also impossible to die due to Second Wind keeping me up). I get him to about ~1.8m before the enrage starts. Might need to find some outside buffs (Only used Battle shout+4k Str Brawler Pot), or wait until 5.4 and hope the Slam/Deep Wounds buff is enough extra damage to take him down.
Edit: Even with Monk+Druid+Pally Buffs, I still cannot deal enough damage to beat enrage timer.
Edit #2: 5.4 Slam+Deep Wound buff was enough extra damage (Plus Kings+Might) to beat him before Enrage.

If you have a huge dmg reduction like AMS or monk talent that reduces magic by 90% you could just pop all the mines in one go and then its just dps and heal...

Just finished this as a survival hunter, and I found that you can strafe around the boss, match his speed, and shoot through a one wide hole, limiting the amount of damage you'll take.
However, another tip/clever use of game mechanics that hunters can use is this: If you're low on HP and you have spirit bond, just make sure you pet is on the boss, feign away from the boss, and he will just stand there and stare at your pet, allowing you to get free damage on his as well as healing through spirit bond. I laid there for maybe 20 seconds and still finished about 30 seconds ahead of the enrage timer.

As a feral druid: run in, hit him, he makes a chain of orbs that circles him, these explode on contact.
Run into orb or two (they're not targettable), and circle while staying in that circling, mine-less spot. It's a DPS test while running around him in a narrow space, basically.
I hit the enrage as he died, at 81k dps total. I'd recommend a food buff + the Agility elixir you can buy "upstairs."

Just a little tip for those finding this fight a bit tough like I did;
Don't run, toggle walk. You'll move at the same speed as the mines as you circle around him.

BM hunter tips
Battletron: "Warranty voided. I hope you are happy."
I noticed that when my pet attacks, it does not activate mines which was hugely useful. I shot one mine, and circled around him, spammed kill command (this does not activate mines either) and spirit mend on myself. Pet threat or growl does not affect the output of Battletron's "Zot!" move, it will always aim for you.
At the start I zerged it to about 6-7mil with stampede, crows (crows don't break mines either btw), blood rage (I'm an orc) and rapid fire. Obviously started with core hound for the bl too. I never had to destroy more than 1 mine or use any pots. My ilevel was just over
500
but the same tactics are probably doable for other ilevels -- I didn't even see the fire hinting at the enrage timer.
I previously tried survival, and I could not really take the "Zot!" spam.

If you have a latest gear and/or high DPS you can burn Battletron down standing on one spot:)
Frost Mage 549 iLvl. Just use all your CDs:) Extra buff will help, I just had the basic ones and the Crystal of Insanity.

I had great trouble with this boss, as a 520 frost mage, until I realised I was over-complicating the fight. I circled around, tried to shoot between orbs, blinked away from explosions etc, but nothing worked.
I beat the boss by using a very straight-forward tactic: As soon as the boss spawned, I activated all my cool-downs (except Frozen Orb and alter time) and started dps to the best of my ability. Right before he spawned his final mine, I activated alter time and kept the dps up while all his mines were exploding. As alter time faded I was returned to full health, at the same time he started resummoning his mines. I kept dps'ing while he was summoning his mines for a second time. When he had completed the process, I used my Frozen Orb followed by Ice Block; the Frozen Orb destroying the mines while I remained damage immune in Ice Block. Once Battletron started resummoning his mines for a third time, I got out of Ice Block and kept dpsing (at this point my dps had decreased significantly). At this point, unless you've managed to kill him already, I simply suffered through the exploding mines by using frost barrier, cold snap, and potions. By the fourth time of summoning mines, you should be able to get him down.

Now 3rd boss of Rank 7. Killed today as a 632 bm hunter using corehound for hero right at the start and instantly swapping to a spirit beast pet for spirit mend. I had stats, mastery, multistrike and versatility buffs along with 250 agi flask and 75 multistrike food as well.
The boss has 2.2m hp and I managed to kill him a few secs before the beserk rain of fire would've killed me. The damage from exploding mines is really high, almost 150k per explosion, and Zot hits for roughly 20k as well which makes staying alive next to impossible with current gear unless you can avoid the explosion damage like I was able to with deterrence or have a huge self heal to bring yourself back up after it.
The only reason I was able to survive and kill him was by stopping dps just as he finished summoning the mines and then using glaive toss followed instantly by deterrence to blow 1 mine and avoid the explosion damage, then continuing to dps him down like normal without blowing another mine. Spirit bond, spirit mend and a health pot was enough for me to survive all the damage from Zot.

WoD Hunters
Tried with Beast Mastery spec first, is pretty hard to kill with the current gear levels and the lack of single target dps. I did get him to 40k hp once.
Managed to beat him as MM 2nd try with 642ilvl
I recommend to go marksmanship and for talents Spirit Bond - TotH - Stampede - Glaive Toss - Exotic Munitions. The boss does really high dmg so having Spirit Bond is essential. You cannot survive with Lone Wolf
How I beat battletron:
Prepot
Drums of Fury
Pop stampede and rabid fire and go full ham on the boss.
When battletron is about to finish conjuring his orbs, be ready to use deterrence for orb explosions (I always had 2 explosions and without deterrence they would just one shot me)
Once you have your gab where you can safely dps Battletron start circling him around so your attack animations wont trigger the orbs. Try to keep Sniper Training up as much as possible by moving just behind the leading orb in your gab. Also remember to use Aspect of the Fox for some extra uptime on Sniper Training. Used my 2nd Dps potion midway during the fight and also had to use a healing potion from the brawler vendor to keep myself alive.
Killed Battletron 8 seconds to spare this way.

Just downed this guy as a frost mage on my 5th or 6th attempt. ilvl 648... It was quite a challenge even with my ilvl... Bufs: Well fed 100 Multistrike and 250 int flask.
What i did: at start.. pop ALL cooldowns! I bursted him to about 40% before he had summoned his mines.. Kill 1 mine (I accidently took down 2 but survived because of cauterize :p ) and then just go around and around dpsing him in the opening.
The laser beam hurts! About 20k+ each hit. I used pots and healthstone, but survived mostly because of
Glowing Honeycomb
I had to use 4 of those combs in order to survive.
This thing rules! heals ya for 30% hp and has NO COOLDOWN! :D This is a must when brawling :) Removes your well fed buff tho, but it's better that way than dying :)
Killed him with 1 second left before berserk... I was lucky... :)
This fight will prob get easier when new patches arrive...

Just did it as arms warrior ilvl 663
Talents: Enraged Regen, Sudden Death, Storm Bolt, Bloodbath, Ravager
Glyphs: Spell Reflection, Bull Rush, Unending Rage
Do this: Ravager, charge, rend, reck, pot, bloodbath, cs, ms, sb
Pray for execute procs
Get him as low as possible before his cast ends then position yourself on a ball.
Go defensive stance and pop DbtS, pop the orb, then go back to battle stance and use spell reflect and regen. You can also use a health potion before you die. with spell reflect you should have enough life to last to the enrage.
Use spell reflect on CD. Stack your cds and procs together with cs and lots of rage for big damage.
It is a really tight dps race for sure. Honestly, if you have better gear than me it should be easy.

For Hunters: Fireing a shot through the "mines", then quickly using Deterrance negates all damage from the detonation (Recommend you using Glaive Toss, due to the rather large animation). The rest of the fight is a DPS race. Good luck!

Ok, Hunters! Especially Beast Masters...here's some info I didn't see anyone posting and I know it's probably not THAT important, but it's good to know for this fight. Your pet's basic attacks will NOT activate the mines, he/she/it can sit right there and beat the hydraulic fluid out of Battletron and you'll be fine. BUT if you use Kill Command it will activate a mine. Bestial Wrath will NOT activate a mine, only activate your pets awesomeness. Both Dire Beast and Stampede will NOT activate a mine IF you use them before the initial mines are finished summoning. On the other hand if your Dire Beast is off cooldown and you use it AFTER the mines are summoned he WILL activate at least one mine from wherever it pops in.
Personally still working on Battletron, but it seems that if you want great initial DPS to get you started then summoning Dire Beast and Stampede in the seconds BEFORE he finishes summoning the mines is a good idea. That way you'll have them the longest after it becomes a little more difficult for you to run around him and fire through whatever hole you create.
Also, side note, Explosive Trap will also set off ALL the mines. So. Don't do that. I've done it for you already.

This was quite easy once I sussed that as long as you survive one mine blast there will be a gap in the mines surrounding him, so you just run around so that the gap created by the blast is between you and him, and dps him till he drops. The problem isn't so much staying alive as having enough dps to get him down before the enrage. But as long as you keep a gap between you and him, i.e. with no mine between you, it's easy peasy.

(frost DK)
, but I ended up beating him on first "try".
I just kept damaging him and moving clockwise with the bombs in between them avoiding them, was never low on health, and when he died it was alittle less than 1 min left on enrage.
Dont know if this will help but worked for me... Good luck and have fun :)
