He is located at the top of the Temple of the White Tiger in the Kun-Lai Summit. He'll give you the quest
, but also tells you a short history of the Vale of Eternal Blossoms.
Everybody have fun tonight. Everybody Wang Chung tonight.
Never notice that he went by another name in Beta.
Wanderer Chu discusses the Vale of Eternal Blossoms in some dialog boxes.
What is the Vale of Eternal Blossoms?
Oh - of course you haven't heard of the Vale.
Twelve thousand years ago, it was the seat of Mogu power, the heart of an empire. Legend tells of sacred pools in there, the source of Mogu magic that allowed them to twist and shape flesh. But they could also be used for healing miracles. That is, if you believe in the legends.
After the pandaren revolution, the Celestials agreed to seal away the Vale, so that the power of the pools could never be used for mischief.
Who is in the Vale now?
Hardly anyone. It's guarded by a group called "The Golden Lotus." Members of the Golden Lotus are hand-picked by the Celestials to maintain a vigil over the Vale, but few are chosen.
I've heard stories about the Vale since I was a cub. Can you believe such a place actually exists?
Do you think the legends of the pools are true? I wish I could see for myself!
It would have been cool to have a little reward for returning and telling him that, yes indeed, it is true. Maybe even a quest to lead him there.
This quest/quest giver seems to have been retired from the game... you no longer need to do any quests to open up the dailies... the dailies are already availible.
Was probably changed same or around same time as they made it not mandatory to get revered with Golden Lotus to open up the other two factions.
