If for some reason you lose this quest, the start is Taoshi at The Sunset Brewgarden. (not to be mistaken for the Taoshi at Shado-Pan Garrison). It is the quest that opens up the quest hubs in the Dread Wastes.

"Ready for some action?"
Toashi is apparently one of the Shado-pan's best and brightest, under the personal command of lord Taran Zhu. In contrast with her mentor, she appears very energetic and friendly toward the player from the get-go. She worries about the guilt her master feels toward being possessed by the Sha of Hatred during the Shado-pan Monastary instance. Her abilities during the dailies you perform with her and weapons seem to suggest shes a Rogue.
She is the first companion to accomany you in your Shado-pan dailies in Townlong Steppes.

Those sai she has are badass, are those, or any that look alike, that are available to players?

If you keep clicking on her (to annoy her, like you can other NPCs) she eventually says

"Keep it up, they will never find your body!"

I just thought this was hilarious :)

As of this patch 6.1.2, as soon as you leave the immediate questing area, she despawns.
